| Your group plan has travel assistance services provided by a third-party company. Starting June 1, 2023, those services will be provided by Global Excel. You can expect the same service with no disruption. |
No changes in benefits or service
The benefits your plan has now won’t change, and neither will the service. However, out-of-country emergency medical-related claims will now be assessed by Global Excel instead of Canada Life. You can call the same numbers and get the same help as before.
In case of a medical emergency when travelling, call:

- All other countries: 1-204-946-2577

If you have an older card with different phone numbers, they will still work. Because of that, new cards won’t be issued.
To make a claim, go to globalexcel.com/canadalife and click "Notify us of a claim". An updated claim form is also on canadalife.com.

What about a claim already in progress?
If you had a claim related to an out-of-country medical emergency that was in progress before June 1, 2023, it will continue to be handled by Canada Life until it’s complete. |
