Page 1, Line 9WHEREAS, Over the decades, the name of Grand Junction's
Page 1, Line 10institution of higher learning has morphed from Grand Junction Junior
Page 1, Line 11College to Grand Junction State Junior College to Mesa College to Mesa
Page 2, Line 1State College to its current moniker, Colorado Mesa University, but the
Page 2, Line 2personalized focus on providing students with tangible skills to meet workforce needs has not changed; and

Page 2, Line 5our state in that it delivers both career and technical two-year, four-year, and graduate degree programs; and

Page 2, Line 8in western Colorado, with over $500 million in annual economic impact to the region; and
