Page 1, Line 6established - administration - cash fund - eligibility. (3) (c)  The state

Page 1, Line 7treasurer shall transfer all unexpended and unencumbered money in the

Page 1, Line 8cash fund on December 30, 2026 June 30, 2027, to the general fund.

Page 1, Line 9(d)  For state fiscal year 2023-24, the general assembly shall

Page 1, Line 10appropriate twenty-five million dollars from the cash fund for the

Page 1, Line 11program. Any unexpended or unencumbered money appropriated

Page 1, Line 12pursuant to this subsection (3)(d) remains available for expenditure for

Page 1, Line 13the same purpose in the 2024-25 2025-26 state fiscal year without further

Page 1, Line 14appropriation. Except as otherwise permitted in this subsection (3), the

Page 1, Line 15office shall use the money for scholarship awards.

Page 1, Line 16(f)  The office may, on or before December 31, 2023, allocate

Page 1, Line 17money from the program appropriation for the direct and indirect costs

Page 1, Line 18associated with the administration of the program; except that

Page 1, Line 19expenditures for administrative costs shall not exceed six percent of the

Page 1, Line 20total appropriation. The office shall use the money described in this

Page 1, Line 21subsection (3)(f) that was not allocated for administrative costs on or

Page 1, Line 22before December 31, 2023, for scholarship awards. Expenditures for

Page 1, Line 23the administrative costs of the program must not exceed one

Page 1, Line 24million five hundred thousand dollars.

Page 1, Line 25SECTION 6.  In Colorado Revised Statutes, amend 24-48.5-506

Page 1, Line 26as follows:

Page 1, Line 2724-48.5-506.  Repeal of part. This part 5 is repealed, effective

Page 2, Line 1December 31, 2026 July 1, 2027.".
