After consideration on the merits, the Committee recommends the following:

SB26-045     be amended as follows, and as so amended, be referred to the Committee of the Whole with favorable recommendation:

Page 1, Line 2"(7) (a)  If, on or before September 1, 2027, the money in the

Page 1, Line 3cash fund has never reached or exceeded five hundred thousand

Page 1, Line 4dollars, the state treasurer shall return from the cash fund to

Page 1, Line 5the grantor or donor the amount of the grantor's or donor's

Page 1, Line 6gifts, grants, or donations and, notwithstanding subsection (2)
