After consideration on the merits, the Committee recommends the following:
HB26-1147 be amended as follows, and as so amended, be referred to the Committee of the Whole with favorable recommendation:

Page 1, Line 3"SECTION 5. Appropriation. (1) For the 2026-27 state fiscal

Page 1, Line 5financing for use by the executive director's office. This appropriation is
Page 1, Line 6from the general fund. To implement this act, the office may use this
Page 1, Line 7appropriation for general professional services and special projects.
Page 1, Line 8(2) For the 2026-27 state fiscal year, the general assembly
Page 1, Line 9anticipates that the department of health care policy and financing will
Page 1, Line 10receive $60,000 in federal funds for the executive director's office to
Page 1, Line 11implement this act. The appropriation in subsection (1) of this section is
Page 1, Line 12based on the assumption that the office will receive this amount of federal
Page 1, Line 13funds, which is subject to the "(I)" notation as defined in the annual
Page 1, Line 14general appropriation act for the same fiscal year.".
