Joint Budget Committee. The bill eliminates the requirement that the commissioner of education annually reprint and distribute laws enacted by the general assembly that concern education.

Page 2, Line 4declaration. (1) Subject to the supervision of the state board, the commissioner has the following duties:

To cause to be reprinted annually laws enacted by the generalPage 2, Line 6
assembly concerning education, in accordance with the provisions ofPage 2, Line 7
section 24-1-136, C.R.S., and to furnish copies thereof to interestedPage 2, Line 8
persons. All publishing costs therefor shall be paid out of the state public school fund pursuant to section 22-54-114 (5).Page 2, Line 9SECTION 2. In Colorado Revised Statutes, 22-54-114, repeal (5) as follows:
