After consideration on the merits, the Committee recommends the following:
HB26-1422 be amended as follows, and as so amended, be referred to the Committee on Appropriations with favorable recommendation:
Page 1, Line 1Amend printed bill, page 14, strike lines 21 through 24 and substitute
Page 1, Line 2"statement required in subsection (2)(a) of this section, and the secretary
Page 1, Line 3of state must make all disclosure statements available to the public on its
Page 1, Line 4website. The secretary may shall redact certain information such as a
Page 1, Line 5candidate's address or and other personal information before making a
Page 1, Line 6disclosure statement available on the secretary's website. The
Page 1, Line 7secretary may also modify the disclosure statement form to
Page 1, Line 8eliminate the inclusion of certain personal information.".
