After consideration on the merits, the Committee recommends the following:
HB26-1112 be amended as follows, and as so amended, be referred to the Committee of the Whole with favorable recommendation:

Page 2, Line 15commission for program costs, which amount is based on an assumption
Page 2, Line 16that the commission will require an additional 1.3 FTE; and
Page 2, Line 17(b) $41,541 for use by the executive director's office for the
Page 2, Line 18purchase of legal services.
Page 2, Line 19(2) For the 2026-27 state fiscal year, $41,541 is appropriated to
Page 2, Line 20the department of law. This appropriation is from reappropriated funds
Page 2, Line 21received from the department of natural resources under subsection (1)(b)
Page 2, Line 22of this section and is based on an assumption that the department of law
Page 2, Line 23will require an additional 0.2 FTE. To implement this act, the department
Page 2, Line 24of law may use this appropriation to provide legal services for the
Page 2, Line 25department of natural resources.".
