Committee on Legal Services. The bill enacts the softbound volumes of the Colorado Revised Statutes 2024, the subsequent changes approved by the voters at the statewide election on November 5, 2024, and the 2024 Colorado Second Extraordinary Session Supplement as the positive and statutory law of the state of Colorado and establishes the effective date of said publication.

Page 2, Line 2SECTION 1. In Colorado Revised Statutes, 2-5-126, add (2)(bb) as follows:
Page 2, Line 32-5-126. Annual enactment of Colorado Revised Statutes -
Page 2, Line 4validation - effective date. (2) The annual statutes, copies of which shall
Page 2, Line 5be delivered to each member of the general assembly, together with a
Page 2, Line 6listing of the revisor's changes, constitute the official report of the
Page 2, Line 7committee on legal services and are hereby enacted in accordance with this section as follows:
Page 2, Line 8(bb) Colorado Revised Statutes 2024.Colorado Revised
Page 2, Line 9Statutes 2024, which consists of all of the laws of the state of
Page 2, Line 10Colorado of a general and permanent nature originally
Page 2, Line 11enacted in "Colorado Revised Statutes 1973", including
Page 2, Line 12subsequent enactments made pursuant to section 2-5-125, and
Page 2, Line 13all of the laws of the state of Colorado of a general and
Page 2, Line 14permanent nature enacted at the second regular session of the
Page 2, Line 15seventy-fourth general assembly, the second extraordinary
Page 2, Line 16session of the seventy-fourth general assembly, and as approved
Page 2, Line 17by the voters at the statewide election on November 5, 2024. The
Page 2, Line 18effective date for Colorado Revised Statutes 2024 is fixed as the
Page 2, Line 19first day that is not a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday following the effective date of this subsection (2)(bb).

Page 2, Line 21determines, and declares that this act is necessary for the immediate
Page 2, Line 22preservation of the public peace, health, or safety or for appropriations for
