Joint Budget Committee. The bill reduces the transfer from the limited gaming fund to the advanced industries acceleration cash fund for state fiscal year 2025-26 from $5,500,000 to $1,840,000.

Page 2, Line 2SECTION 1. In Colorado Revised Statutes, 44-30-701, amend (2)(a)(II); and add (2)(d) as follows:
Page 2, Line 344-30-701. Limited gaming fund - created - repeal.
Page 2, Line 4(2) (a) Except as provided in subsection (2)(b) of this section, at the end
Page 2, Line 5of the 2012-13 state fiscal year and at the end of each state fiscal year thereafter, the state treasurer shall transfer the state share as follows:
Page 2, Line 6(II) For the 2014-15 state fiscal year and each state fiscal year
Page 2, Line 7thereafter, except as otherwise provided in subsection (2)(d) of this
Page 2, Line 8section for the 2025-26 state fiscal year, five million five hundred
Page 2, Line 9thousand dollars to the advanced industries acceleration cash fund created in section 24-48.5-117;
Page 2, Line 10(d) (I) For the 2025-26 state fiscal year, the state
Page 2, Line 11treasurer shall transfer one million eight hundred forty
Page 2, Line 12thousand dollars to the advanced industries acceleration cash fund created in section 24-48.5-117.
Page 2, Line 13(II) This subsection (2)(d) is repealed, effective July 1, 2027.

Page 2, Line 15takes effect at 12:01 a.m. on the day following the expiration of the
Page 2, Line 16ninety-day period after final adjournment of the general assembly; except
Page 2, Line 17that, if a referendum petition is filed pursuant to section 1 (3) of article V
Page 2, Line 18of the state constitution against this act or an item, section, or part of this
Page 2, Line 19act within such period, then the act, item, section, or part will not take
Page 2, Line 20effect unless approved by the people at the general election to be held in
Page 2, Line 21November 2026 and, in such case, will take effect on the date of the official declaration of the vote thereon by the governor.
