After consideration on the merits, the Committee recommends the following:

HB25-1159   be amended as follows, and as so amended, be referred to the Committee of the Whole with favorable recommendation:

Page 1, Line 2"SECTION 15.  Appropriation. (1)  For the 2025-26 state fiscal

Page 1, Line 3year, $46,665 is appropriated to the department of human services. This

Page 1, Line 4appropriation is from the general fund. To implement this act, the

Page 1, Line 5department may use this appropriation for the purchase of information

Page 1, Line 6technology services.

Page 1, Line 7(2)  For the 2025-26 state fiscal year, the general assembly

Page 1, Line 8anticipates that the department of human services will receive $90,585 in

Page 1, Line 9federal funds for the purchase of information technology services to

Page 1, Line 10implement this act. The appropriation in subsection (1) of this section is

Page 1, Line 11based on the assumption that the department will receive this amount of

Page 1, Line 12federal funds, which is subject to the "(I)" notation as defined in the

Page 1, Line 13annual general appropriation act for the same fiscal year.

Page 1, Line 14(3)  For the 2025-26 state fiscal year, $137,250 is appropriated to

Page 1, Line 15the office of the governor for use by the office of information technology.

Page 1, Line 16This appropriation is from reappropriated funds received from the

Page 1, Line 17department of human services under subsections (1) and (2) of this

Page 1, Line 18section. To implement this act, the office may use this appropriation to

Page 1, Line 19provide information technology services for the department of human

Page 1, Line 20services.".

Page 1, Line 21Renumber succeeding sections accordingly.
