The bill increases criminal penalties for failing or refusing to leave a premises or property when requested by a peace officer.

Page 2, Line 2SECTION 1. In Colorado Revised Statutes, 18-9-119, amend (2), (3), and (4) as follows:
Page 2, Line 318-9-119. Failure or refusal to leave premises or property
Page 2, Line 4upon request of a peace officer - penalties - payment of costs. (2)
AnyPage 2, Line 5A person who barricades or refuses police entry to any premises or
Page 2, Line 6property through use of or threatened use of force and who knowingly
Page 2, Line 7refuses or fails to leave any premises or property upon being requested to
Page 2, Line 8do so by a peace officer who has probable cause to believe a crime is
Page 2, Line 9occurring and that
such the person constitutes a danger tohimself orPage 2, Line 10
herself themself or others commits aclass 2 misdemeanor class 6 felony.Page 2, Line 11(3)
