Statutory Revision Committee.Section 1 of the bill reorganizes the plumbing profession definitions into alphabetical order.
Section 2 repeals certain relocated definition provisions.
Sections 3 through 5 make conforming amendments to provisions with internal references to the plumbing profession definitions.

Page 2, Line 412-155-103. Definitions. As used in this article 155, unless the context otherwise requires:
Page 2, Line 5(1.2) [Formerly 12-155-103 (6)] "Colorado fuel gas code" means
Page 2, Line 6a code adopted by rule of the board for the inspection of plumbing fuel gas pipe installations.
Page 2, Line 7(1.4) [Formerly 12-155-103 (5)] "Colorado plumbing code" or
Page 2, Line 8"the code" means a code established by the board that consists of
Page 2, Line 9standards for plumbing installation, plumbing materials, conservation,
Page 2, Line 10medical gas, sanitary drainage systems, and solar plumbing that could directly affect the potable water supply.
Page 2, Line 11(1.6) [Formerly 12-155-103 (7)] (a) "Conservation" means
Page 2, Line 12efficiency measures that meet national guidelines and standards and are
Page 2, Line 13tested and approved by a nationally recognized testing laboratory, including:
Page 2, Line 14(I) Water-efficient devices and fixtures; and
Page 2, Line 15(II) The use of locally produced materials, when practicable, to reduce transportation impacts.
Page 2, Line 16(b) When conservation conflicts with safety, the board shall give primary consideration to safety.

subsection (7) subsection (1.6) affects thePage 2, Line 18board's authority to establish the Colorado plumbing code as specified in

Page 4, Line 4effect unless approved by the people at the general election to be held in
Page 4, Line 5November 2026 and, in such case, will take effect on the date of the official declaration of the vote thereon by the governor.
