Welcome to Working with Indie Authors. I am excited that you're all here. I'm Tanya . I have been working in publishing for some time now and have loved seeing how it's evolved. I've worked with publishers of all shapes and sizes, both in house and as a freelancer, on all sorts of cool books.

These days, I primarily do developmental editing, line editing, and translation of fiction, memoir, poetry, and graphic novels. I work with some publishers, but most of my work is directly with authors. And that's authors who are either going to be self-publishing or authors who are looking to partner with publishers.

I get some help from my editorial assistants, and you'll be seeing a lot more of them throughout the course. Are you ready? Let's get started!
