I would put hot wax over each nail hole to seal it. I want to decorate my flower pots with napkins but am not sure what to seal them with for outdoors.

Modge Podge makes a ton of different products for the different projects you might want to try. One or two of them are high gloss and will seal quite well. If you look, the labels tell you the best one to use. Of course, that's not the only brand. Minwax and a few other brands are what I call hardcore finishes. Lowes or Home Depot would be a good place to look for those. Those tend to have a high fume problem, so think of that. I use Modge Podge, and if it's going to be around moisture I will use the super high gloss for outdoors and use several coats.

I hope this helps! If you have seen my house and specifically my master bedroom check it out on our blog! I wanted to make something different for my front door for Easter and I was thinking of making something with an egg shape.

My niece said something about a fabric egg with a pocket but she was thinking of something smaller. Then I thought, 'why not a large egg? My husband had a stack of old jeans that were just taking up space so I decided to make them into a quilt. This is an I Spy quilt, all the fabrics are different, no repeats.

It's also a rag quilt because the edges are frayed. I have a more detailed tutorial on my website. Is your front door ready for spring? Here's the truth: Until last week, mine wasn't. The door has been totally bare since I took down the Christmas decor nearly two months ago. With a thrift store find that was hanging around in my stash and a few gorgeous faux succulents, I decked my door for spring in less than an afternoon!

Nowadays they don't seem to sell the type of headboard that I'm looking for. They are too small, come with a head and footboard, or too bulky. For a smaller room I can't have something as large as what I could find in a store or online So as I was putting drapes up in one room I knew I had to get rid of a ton of blinds.

They are in good shape so I really didn't want to just throw them out so yes I stored them. I'm glad I did because it hit me They are perfectly level, no warps, knot holes, etc. Plus the best part is that this headboard will not weigh a ton and need to have huge wall anchors to attach it. So away I went to the proverbial drawing board.

What can I put these slats on? I want to keep it light I got 2 packages a set of 2 so 4 total at Walmart for 3. I only needed 3 foam boards but it was cheaper this way. Plus, I'm thinking of making a second one for a gift if this turns out the way I hope.

This clock has a solid wood exterior ring which matches my cabinets. The large numbers are easy to see against the light background. It runs on one AA battery and has kept perfect time since I put it up. I would definitely purchase from this seller again. We had a clock for many years, similar to this one.

When it stopped working we were very disappointed because we like the size and look of it. Didn't make sense to have it repaired due to the cost. Found this one on Amazon, same size, very similar to the look of our original one and couldn't beat the price.

When it arrived we very happy with it. Came securely packed, looked the same as online picture, 14 inches -perfect for our kitchen wall, completely silent and very easy to read. I ordered this clock for our dining room, it's a beautiful addition! The wood looks great and will work with multiple wood tones. I couldn't be more pleased.
