This court was redone in 2023 and to save money, Carnegie did it with plastic grating. You could do ball machine practice on them but the surface is a bit slippery and produces odd bounces. Also, balls stick under the fence so not always easy to pick up with a ball hopper.  Not good.


Update 5/1/26 - Dan Joyce noticed something was going on at the park so we contacted the borough and they are completely rebuilding the courts.  There will be 1 tennis court and 3 pickleball courts.  Too bad they didn’t opt for two mixed use courts though with the courts being separated, that means the tennis court will probably not have pickleball lines defacing it.  Should be done some time this summer.  More to come.
