Um, first question that came in. Do you still talk to demons during deliverance sessions? So I think I know what you're asking, so I'm going to try to answer it this way. Do I talk to them? Yes. In the name of Jesus, get out. I'm talking to them. But I try not to talk with them. Let them talk. As time went on, I learned that that was kind of fruitless. Now, sometimes they just butt in the conversation like they did with Jesus, and you got to deal with them. But do I talk to them? Yes. But at this point, I rarely let them speak. Sometimes, like I said, they just butt in and they're going to say what they want to say. You have to talk to them to cast them out. Yeah. You have to tell them what's going to happen with them. You have to talk to them. In fact, I'll go one further. You have to talk to anything and everything to make the supernatural work. So in case you're a person who was taught that confession is not of God, it's all through the scripture. In fact, you know how you got saved? You believed in your heart and you confessed with your mouth, Romans 10. You can't get saved on me praying for you. You have to confess with your mouth. And by the way, that seems to be a new thing to keep people comfortable. How many want to get saved? We got five. Okay, Lord, I pray for them. You see the ones who raise their hand they want to accept you as saviors. So I pray for them. We thank you, Lord, that you welcome them into your family, blah, blah, blah, the pastor praises prayer. And then afterwards, good job. You got saved. Really? I can't confess with my mouth your salvation. You have to confess it. Those people are leaving the church thinking they're saved. They're still unsaved. They never got saved because they didn't confess with their mouth. Believe in your heart, confess with your mouth and you will be saved. Everything we get, see we're made in God's design, we're made in God's image. Everything God does, he does with his mouth. If he raises his hand, you better duck or hang on to something because things are about to really get nasty. When the hand of the Lord moves, someone's judged and someone's blessed and it gets nasty. God didn't even lift his finger when he created the physical realm. He spoke it. That's us. Our greatest power, the word of faith is nigh thee even in thy mouth. So you have to speak to your sickness, whatever's on you, whatever's attacking you. You have to speak to the demon. Your power is in your mouth. Address it, talk to it. And we'll talk about that, but I always say talk to it like it's another person. Like I had someone say to me since last week, they said, you know, I was in this situation and I could just feel there was an evil presence, right? And they could point to where it was. I said, what did you do with it? Well, I just tried to get away from it as fast as I could. Wrong answer. Why are you running from demons? Because you don't know your authority. You know, I've had people say, well, I was driving down the road and I could just tell that there was an evil presence in the car. What'd you do? I just drove faster, tried to get home, got out of that car as fast as I could. No, you know what you should have done? You should have found a side road or an approach, pulled off, opened the back door and said, I know you're back here. And I am a believer and because of that, I have authority over you. So you get out now. You talk to them like they're another person. You have to talk to them, but you don't have to carry on a conversation with them. I do have, do you have, you may, I don't think you have on the projector. I'll just refer to these. Talking with them, I want to give you a little bit of thought on this. I gave you a little bit in the teaching time. One of the problems in conversing with them, John 8.44, you are of the Father, the devil, and the desire is your Father, you want to do. Now that is just huge right there. You are of your Father, the devil. How do you know? The desires of your Father, you want to do. John 8.44, you are of your Father, the devil, and the desires of your Father, you want to do. What does that say about people who think they're Christians, but want to do what the kingdom of darkness does? If they are Christians, it's only by, you know, we had an old saying, it's only by the skin of their teeth, which is kind of gross because it means you are not brushing your teeth. But I mean, it's like a very thin margin. That's true. But it was the same. So it's a very thin margin. Because scripture says, when we're translated out of the kingdom of darkness, we should no longer desire the things of the kingdom of darkness. Okay? So we got a problem right in the first line. Jesus says, I know which Father you're of, I can just watch what you desire. You like to sin. I know your Father. Don't take a genius to figure that one out. I see your desires. He goes on. He says, he was a murderer from the beginning, does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. And when he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources. That's what his kingdom is made of, his lies. For he is a liar and the Father of it. Truth is from the other kingdom. Jesus said, I am the way of the truth in life. Of course, the Father talks, that's our heavenly Father's kingdom. Satan's entire kingdom does not operate in truth. Truth is of God's kingdom. So as a result, they typically lie. They're masters of deception. Sometimes you can command them to speak accurately and they will give you some information that's accurate. But most of the time you're always dealing with lies. That's why it's usually fruitless to talk to them. Because what they're telling you might be a bunch of blocky anyway and they're sending you down a rabbit hole and it's going to produce nothing. Did Jesus converse with demons? Not talk to him, converse with him. He did one time and it's found in three places, three of the gospels, Matthew 8, verse 28 to 34, Luke 8, verse 26 to 39, and Mark 5, verse 1 through 20. Mark 5 gives the best description on this as far as I'm concerned. It's the legion, the person who had the legion. And we'll get back to that story at some point and take that apart a bit. He typically did not speak to them. In that case he did. And there's a reason for it. Haven't gotten to that yet. But he didn't and this is why. Mark 1, 23 through 26. Just then a man in their synagogue who is possessed by an evil spirit cried out, What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Why have you come destroy us? I know who you are, the Holy One of God. Be quiet. Jesus said sternly, I don't want to talk with you. Come out of him, the evil spirit shook the man violently and came out of him with a shriek. You go to same chapter, Mark chapter one, you go down just a few verses, verse 32. That evening after sunset, the people brought to Jesus all the sick and demon possessed. The whole town gathered at the door. And Jesus healed many who had various diseases. He also drove out many demons. But he would not let the demons speak because they knew who he was. And we just read that a few verses previous. Jesus didn't want demonic witness of who he was. So he wouldn't let him speak. So it was rare that Jesus would converse with him. He's converse with the one who had legion. But I mean, out of all the demons Jesus cast out, there's very little record that he spoke with them at all. He stopped them from speaking. So it's not, there's not a scriptural precedent for it. Now, I know there's people on TV. I know there's people on YouTube. That's their realm of deliverance. They just talk to them. And they're carrying on conversations with them. And all I'm going to say is that's between them and God. That's not my issue. I will try to do what I feel God's shown me. They can do what they feel God's shown them. Remember, this whole deliverance thing is a holy thing. And we don't want to be attacking them. Hell, that's not of God. What they're doing is not right. Mama, you stay out of that. It's between them and God. They're going to answer for it, not us. Let them deal with it. So it's not, it's not really founded in Scripture. So I don't like it. Now, sometimes, like I said, you get caught in it just like Jesus got caught in it. And I happened to get caught in it for 18 months where nothing else worked. But that, and it was like, that was ugly. But scripturally, I wanted out of that as quick as I could. Here is another problem that develops if you converse with them too much. And this is this I learned by experience. The person they're conversing through with you, they're in somebody, they're talking to you back and forth. The more you give that spirit access to the person's brain to interface with their brain, the more easily that spirit can manifest and take them over at will. Because it's like there is a, I wouldn't say a comfort or ability, there's an adapting of the spirit of the brain to that spirit. And when they shove you kind of, or shove the person out of the interface and they jump in and you talk to them and you talk to them and they go away and then they, you call them back and you talk to them, talk to them and they go away and you, you know, you do this too long. It's actually a big injustice to the person because that spirit will gain readily or will find readily accessible access to their brain. Because you're giving it to it over and over and over. You don't want to do that. It's an injustice to the person and it can really stir up other problems. So my recommendation is don't go there. Most of the time all they do is lie anyway. Just, you don't have to let, let's learn to do it like Jesus did it. And if something happens, you got no choice and something manifests and it's yelling, screaming, it's cussing you out, whatever it's doing, we'll deal with it. You know, you can't look at it and say, I'm not going to talk to you because Pastor Burns said I shouldn't. Well, it's, it's, it's about the person. There's a person being held captive here. We're after helping the person and if we have to go that route to do it, we'll do it. But it's about helping the person. So if it happens, it happens. I'll hit one other one real quick. This one goes real quick and then if you want to share something. The question was, did you ever identify, last week I gave some examples. They asked, did you ever identify the reason or opening in the girl's life where the demons were allowed to torment her? Actually, I was, last week I gave story of three different girls. One of them wasn't quite as accessible and didn't have as much torment, but the other two, the one that I talked about the first thing, the first deliverance thing I ever did was the one with Wadri Naka. That was the one where the person who was mentoring me said, you got to get their name. Now without going into a bunch of explanation on this, because we haven't gotten to that in the teaching yet. Typically speaking, if you run into something that has a lot of generational power, access, you may have to get the name. And or if it's a fallen angel. Now fallen angels tend to stay out of human beings from my experience because they don't want to be vulnerable of being cast to the pit. They're not going to take the chance on that. They're going to shove in the weaker ones and let them get thrown out. They're just not going to go there. Occasionally you'll run into one, but it's more rare. This particular one that was named Wadri Naka, we believe, and again, not sure and it really doesn't make any difference. The whole thing we were after is to get the girl free. But we believe this was a fallen angel. Why it was in there, we don't know. I don't know. They usually don't do that. But typically speaking with fallen angels, you might have to get a name or at least the category they work in. Do they work in the realm of lies? Do they work in the realm of perversion? Are they in the realm of adultery? Are they, what realm do they work in? Sometimes the Holy Spirit will need to give you that so you can kind of, rather than taking a shotgun and just putting a scatter shot out there, He's given you a rifle and say, aim specifically at this. Here's what it is, and you go after it. And we haven't taught on it yet, but I'll just throw this in real quick. Names to God are the source of everything. His personal names, like for instance, the example with the Legion. Jesus was commanding them to come out, and they wouldn't. And he said, what's your name? Well, our name is Legion because we are many. Legion is, if it's Legion like the Roman army Legion, it's like, could be five, six thousand of them. Once he had the name, they asked to go. The name gave all authority, and they asked to go into the pigs so he wouldn't cast them into the deep, or some translations call it the pit. It's where fallen angels who cohabitated with human beings and created the nephilim are being held for judgment. We can cast demons and angels there, fallen angels. They asked, don't cast us into the deep. Let us go into the pigs. Once he had their name, he had them. So a side thought, just kind of a funny side thought. Jesus did not minister to anybody except Israelites. Period. He's ministering to an Israelite in the tombs. The demons say, let us go into the pigs. Why are Israelites raising pigs? They can't eat ham. And not just crazy side thought, like, and the whole people of the region were upset with Jesus because all the pigs ran to the lake and drowned. They lost all this money. Well, why are you raising pigs? You're Israelites. It goes back to the old saying, a Jew knows how to turn a buck. They maybe didn't eat them, but they raised them and sold them. They made money. I don't think it's funny. But anyway, he got the name he had the authority. Take that and apply it to God. He's got all kinds of names that describe his character. I say this over and over. If you're going to have a child, watch what you name them. Seriously. This is serious. Because if you name them the wrong thing, every time you call their name, you're either blessing them or cursing them. And there are some people I have told the parents, if I were you, I'd rename them. You named them the wrong thing. Have you ever looked up what that name means? Well, look it up. They did. They came back. It's like, we had no idea that name meant... every name means something. And every time we call that name, we're either cursing that person or blessing that person. Some names we need to stay away from. Just saying. Because a name is the core of the authority or the power. Jesus showed us that. Okay. We may have some questions from tonight too, but go ahead with what you got first. Well, someone had called in a question or texted in a question that we've tried to address in other places also. Because so it comes up a lot. And that's the books that are out there on the spirit of Jezebel or Leviathan or Python. And there probably needs to be a half hour discussion about that. But I just want to deal with a few things here tonight. Because people are like, is that true? Or is that not true? Is there a demon like that or or not? And we focus on a demon many times. So you can say Jezebel. And in our mind we'll look if I said Steve, you would think about one guy named Steve, right? You're not thinking of all the steves. You're you're thinking of Steve. So if I say Jezebel, it actually kind of gives an omnipresent thing in our mind that this Jezebel can be on various people all over the world at the same time. The Bible does describe, and in some places in the in the Hebrew and the Greek, it talks about Python, like a Python spirit. It's like the spirit of divination. It does talk about these different things. But I wanted to the question came in, like, is that a demon? You know, are we dealing with a demon? How come this demon wasn't here before? Is this something that's always been? You know, because it seems like probably 10 years ago that was like, we discovered Jezebel, right? Well, there's nothing new under the sun. You know, these things have been here, and we can get off on a tangent and really go demon hunting this Jezebel spirit and naming people having it, you know, like, I think they have a Jezebel, and I think they have this or whatever. So we have to really take care of not to do that. Is there a way of thinking that we've labeled? Yes. The way of thinking always has the demonic realm supporting a way of thinking. I can say the word poverty, and that's demonic. The word poverty is not a heavenly word. So it is, it's actually means to be subtracted from is what the word curse means. And so poverty is that heading that I can say, that's a spirit of poverty. Really, what I'm saying is that is a way of thinking. And until we change our way of thinking, then we don't have the right confession. And we have to have a label for that. So we can go, that's kind of that way of thinking. That makes sense. And so the question really was around that, like, I'm trying to separate this out because if somebody gets sassy, is that a Jezebel? In a right of way, everything's a label. No, they're being sassy, but there is a way of thinking that can be manipulated. It can be controlling. It can be like how they describe the water dragon, which is Leviathan. And they've named it that, right? Well, maybe Jesus didn't name it Leviathan when he was walking through this earth. But there's always been the power of sin that causes people to act a certain way. It's a way of thinking. And so the way they describe that demonic being is it likes to sit right in the anointing. And man, have we experienced that with certain people? They like to sit right up close. They want to be in the leadership. They have all this stuff, but they're really looking for a spot of control. It's a very pride kind of thing. And the water dragon is described as, you know, the senses. And let me get close to the pastor. Let me get close to the leader. Let me get into a place of attention. And I'll just sit, look and submissive. And I'm waiting like an alligator or a crocodile does. They just sit in the water and they wait. But how do they kill their prey? Right? When they grab ahold of that, they pull it down and they twist. Right? Until you drowned or you die during the twisting. So the type of that is a person who has the way of thinking that says, I'm going to sit close to the anointing. I'm going to act real submissive. I mean, look at me just sitting there in the water. It's a picture of that alligator. They barely blink, you know, just sitting there. And they're waiting for the moment when the person makes the wrong move, grab ahold of that and twist everything that that person is saying. It's very divisive. It's very strife-filled. Well, the Bible says where there is strife, there dwelleth every evil and wicked thing. It doesn't say where there is leviathan. So this is a label just like you would say narcissism. You know, if you say, man, that's a, that's just a narcissistic thing. Well, I don't know that there's specifically a narcissistic demon, but there are demons that support that way of thinking. Sin causes that way of thinking by subtracting from us, whether we participate in it or somebody else has done the sin to us. And then we're like, why, why is that way of thinking there? Why is there such a stronghold there? And where are strongholds located? In the mind. They're not all out here. The stronghold is the way of thinking over a city, the way of thinking in a family, the way of thinking of a person. And so we'll start identifying that and really what we're saying is I got to put a label on that. How do you get a hold of that? And so we come up with word pictures that would say, that acts like that, like the pantheonic worship they did in Rome really has a lot to do with the Python way of thinking. And those are demonic beings that will center around your situation, just like a Python, you know, it'll just come right on in or a boa constrictor and wrap itself around you, but you're comfortable with it because you don't know that it's there. And slowly, as you breathe out, it tightens. You can't get as much air the next time it tightens. So this is a way of describing acts actually talks about that, but you have to look it up in the Greek to get that there is a Python demon. So yes, there are demonic forces that are supporting this way of thinking. So part of deliverance, self-deliverance is if you're selfish, controlling everything's about you, and it's affected your training, your neurons have grown around that. I can't cast that out. You have to change your behavior. So what's happening is we're going around and we're like, wow, that was I cast out the spirit of narcissism. You can't cast out where that person is at in their mental state. If they believe they're right, it's all about them or whatever, try casting that out. Now the demons that are enhancing that will be like, yeah, do it. Do it again. That just fires us up, right? And we'll help support that person in that way of shrinking thinking in that stronghold so that they get a stronger way of thinking in that misbehavior or in that dysfunction. Do you see it? So this is where, you know, when somebody says, I think there's deliverance, I don't all get all excited many times because I've seen too much of, went to this church and had that cast out of me and I tried over here and that selfish thing got cast out of me. And this was cast, these are behaviors and they're attached to the power of sin. And we need to repent for the power of sin and change our thinking. That's the biggest form of self deliverance when it comes to these things. But so are the books false? No, there's all kinds of real information in there. It's how we perceive and receive the books that have been out there regarding this or teaching that's been still on. We'll come into something that would say, what was I going to say now, our perception about this is what I said last. Yes. And so we'll run with this new concept like this has never been before. I found out about the Jezebel. Wow. Okay. Like God surprised himself like, I knew we were going to discover this eventually. A demon's a demon's a demon. Sin is sin is sin. And it's sin that causes us to be traumatized by that sin and set up a whole way of thinking. And it passes from one generation to the next. We just couldn't figure out a label to put on it, right? And even the people in the Bible had to figure out, what do you call that? So I'll give you a little thing. When it comes to divination, what they were talking about in in Rome, they would have different women who would divine things, right? But what they would do is they'd go to the pantheonic temple where everyone was allowed to worship except for the Christians. And as they're laying there on the floor praying, the gases that they built this temple over that were coming up out of the ground were making them high. So it was a form of sorcery then that changed what was going on. And then they would divine and tell the future, right? And so that has to be like flesh-based, demonic-based, everything else that comes out of that. Just so you're aware of a little bit of a history and maybe we can deal with some of those things in the future. We still do that kind of stuff now. We're just not laying on a floor in a temple. We're smoking pot, going to church and prophesying over someone. Let me enter sorcery first. Shut down my frontal lobes so I have no cognitive thing operating. Open myself up to the spirit realm and then, you know what, I just learned all people can prophesy. Well, let's get everybody prophesying. Yeah, all people can prophesy and we all should, but the same thing is true. We should all cast out demons, but do we got our feet in both sides of things when that prophecy comes out our mouth? Are we speaking on God's behalf? See, so I think we need to kind of divide this out in answering the question for the person actually asked that's watching online. We need to divide it out where it's like what's a sin filled behavior? Because Proverbs says that sin will put you in a stupor. Amplified says it will make you stupid. You will think stupid thoughts that will make sense to you. So is that a stupid thought that makes sense to you? Is a training thought that makes sense to you has been passed down through generations? Is it the selfishness that just was bore out of the sin and the trauma that you were under? Is this actually a demon? Some demons. I mean, this is all stuff we discern when we're when we're working in deliverance. And I have people show up my office and they during counseling, they'll say, I just I just know I have a demon you need to cast it out of me. I do the same thing for and does, you know, all right, we're gonna ask at least five questions. You know, not everything's a demon. I'll tell them not everything's a demon. Most stuff is a way of thinking. So how could you think differently about this? Who taught you how to think about this? What has your thinking been? And by the time they're done, you'll see that many times they're in unbelief because they were traumatized. They don't think they're going to be taken care of. They're abandoned. There's something that sets it up where their faith is not able to work. And the demonic realm, yes, does attract to that. But most of the time we don't have to worry about them. Just bring your faith up. Deal with the wrong way of thinking. And you'll come up into a place where you're like, I'm not putting up with this anymore. Then you're aligned with what Jesus did. He made an open spectacle of the demonic realm. And suddenly you realize, oh, I don't need to be all selfish and hurtful to people and doing all the stuff that I've been doing that we call a Jezebel or a liar or whatever name we put on it. I want to be like Jesus. So therefore I repent. And he gives you the mind of Christ. The word Christ is not Jesus' last name. It's the anointed one and his anointing. So now suddenly you're thinking out of a different anointing regarding the people around you and you're not so narcissistic or Jezebelian. Make sense? All right. That was the answer that I need to get. This booklet, when you download it or grab it or whatever, that's mine. Don't take my phone. Somebody might text me a question. This booklet is going to say demons are not our biggest problem. Sin is our biggest problem, which goes along exactly with what she just said. It's a way of thinking. Now the spirit realm will support your way of thinking. So if you're thinking like the kingdom of darkness, that's how you're running life. It's how you think about life. There will be all kinds of demons supporting that. You say, how do you know that? Because the devil can't invent anything new. All he does is copy God. And if you go back into the Old Testament in Psalms, it says that the angels of the Lord, his spirit's flames of fire, do the bidding of the word of the Lord. So angels will activate if we get into agreement I've got mine on my iPad. I should bring my Bible so I can lift it up. If we get into agreement with God's word, angels will support that because they do the bidding of God's word. If God said it, and I go, I agree with that, they're right there going, we're going to make this happen in your life. Well, demons do the same thing. I see it. I agree. We're going to be poor the rest of our life. You will have cracked all kinds of demons of poverty and they will try to perform that for you because you're agreeing with their kingdom. So the spirit realm will support the side of the kingdom you're putting out there. So it's really not the spirit realm who's the problem. Quit talking the devil's language. You'll get rid of demons. It's that simple. Start talking God's language and you will activate the heavenly realms around you. They'll jump into gear with you. It's that simple. It's that easy. This is not a complicated thing. Scripture shows us the principles. The second girl, I forgot to mention the second girl. The second girl threw the guy who helped me. We couldn't get much progress. So he took the person over there and through him and the people that worked with him, they came to the conclusion. The problem there that caused that one to be such a problem is this was a person who had been dedicated to Satan, previous generations, to be a daughter of Satan. And the way that works is you will have, for generations, people who are in witchcraft in your lineage, this particular one, a demon was bragging. Now, can you believe it or not? I don't know, but I was there. I heard it. A demon was bragging that they got into this lineage 67 generations back. That's approximately when King David lived. And they had been building on witchcraft and demonic sacrifices and all kinds of stuff till they got to the point. They could pinpoint one person and said, now that one will be a daughter of Satan. And there's a whole big thing in that. I won't take place. Typically speaking, the kingdom of darkness doesn't release easily because this is something they've gained authority over. One of the biggest things that God showed me that got that girl free because she, there's a whole story there. I won't go into it. But in one of the sessions, one of the things God showed me is I closed my eyes and I took them back home. I was like, what was that? And I closed my eyes again. That's how internal visions work. You close them and you can't not see it. And you open, you look around, it's like, what in the world? And you close it. And it's like, you've just seen a different realm. I saw two hands holding a human beating heart. And I went, oh, that was a blood sacrifice on her behalf. And we broke that blood sacrifice from wherever it started, made a huge leap forward in progress because it was a generational thing. And over the generations, they claimed that girl to be a daughter of Satan. And you just got to go in and dress that and break it. I mean, it's not a difficult thing to do. Sometimes it's the hardest part is to hear the Holy Spirit. What am I looking at? What am I dealing with? But anyway, so anyway, that questions, well, we'll get them on mic. So we've got them recording. If I can get someone to run this mic for me. Thank you. Right behind you, there's the first hand. Can the way of thinking be what you referred to as a live whole? Or is that something you'd rather? Yes. And we will talk about that in depth in the future. By the way, the scripture marriage referring to when the girl, the scriptures, I think it's an act 16, but I could be wrong. The girl who was speaking over Paul and was a Silas. These are men of God. Listen to them, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And she had a spirit of divination. And she made a lot of money for her masters. The word divination, look it up in your concordances or whatever. That word is Python. She had a spirit of Python. So they let her do this for a few days. It said she did it for a number of days. And do you know what I'll put money on it? We'll get there. We'll ask. They recognized how this spirit was working. The more she said the tighter she was squeezing them until she was going to back them in a corner, they were going to be in trouble. So it's like Python. It's like it squeezes you and you let out air and squeezes tighter. And every day when she was announcing, oh, behold, these men of God, was she saying truth? Absolutely. But this is Python at work, which means every time she's announcing this and they're letting it happen, she's squeezing down. And eventually she wanted to choke them out. We don't know where that went. They recognized it and cast it out. But that's an act 16. So I think it's 16. Any other questions? This goes back a few years. Do you remember a book being written called Pigs in a Parlor? Yes. What is your recommendation on that? That came out of the charismatic move. What was his name? I don't remember the author. He was a very well known speaker back then. I thought it was a husband and wife team. Yeah, you could Google it. It would come up right away. Yeah, go ahead and Google it. You'll figure it out. Pigs in a Parlor. He was used in deliverance extensively during the charismatic move in the 70s. That was how it operated through him and with him. I've read it. I've read it numerous times. It didn't work that way for me, certain things. It can be a resource, but it may not work for you that way, you know. But it's what happened. He gives stories and examples of what he had to do and things that happened and how he dealt with it. The proof is in the pudding. Remember the disciples told Jesus, there was somebody going around casting out demons. We told them to stop. And Jesus said, don't tell them to stop. If they're not against us, they're for us. And he went on to explain kind of the fruit. If people are getting set free, if people are being healed, leave them alone. Because you cannot say a word evil against me. Now here's another one that you got to walk worthy. Jesus said, you cannot say evil against me and do works in my name. That's my paraphrase. Look it up. So you can't be going around pretending you're a God follower and behind the scenes you're not really and still operating in God's power. And he was trying to teach them that principle. If they're getting the results and people are getting free, let them work. Because if they're not of me, they're not going to get results. It won't work. That's kind of here. Same thing. It was his experience. It's the way it worked for him. And he helped a lot of people. And my experience was a little different. And other people have different experiences. But that's my take on the book. I've got another question for you that it, have you ever ran into dealing with the demonic and you tried everything that you know what to do and it doesn't leave? Yes. Did you listen to my last week's message? No, I haven't. Go ahead and listen to that. That's kind of dwelt on the 18 months from hell. In my life. Listen to that and then we'll talk again. I saw other hands. Who else had a question? Okay, right there. I was under the understanding that fallen angels were bound in the pit. Yes, people are of that understanding. Able to possess people. I thought it was just their offspring. The Nephilim were the demonic and they were able to possess people. See if I can find it quickly. It's in 1 Peter, I believe. And you have to read it closely because there's a lot of people who believe all the fallen angels are held under chains until their judgment. And it doesn't actually say that. Let me see if I can find it. I might have to come back with an answer because I don't know exactly where it's at. If you read it closely, let me put it into paraphrase for you and then go home and Google it or use your concordance, find it. If somebody finds it for me, I'll address it. But it's talking specifically, and it may not be in Peter. Maybe that's why I'm not finding it. It's talking specifically about the angels that left their first estate. And if you read that in context, he's talking about the fallen angels who cohabitated or had sex with women and produced offspring. Not all of them did. Some did. And that's where we got the Nephilim from. Those are being held in chains under darkness for judgment. Just go back and read it closely. It doesn't say all of them. It says the ones who left that first estate. And if you read it in context, he's talking about the ones who saw the daughters of men. And they said, I want some of that kind of thing. And it happened. Good question though. Very, very popular question. Yep. Anybody else besides? Let's go all first-timers first. Then if we have time, we'll go second round. I just have a question about standing in the gap for somebody that you know has been tormented or they haven't dealt necessarily with their sin in their life, but you have authority because you're part of their family. And so my question is, what do you do when you don't have access to go into somebody else's life, but you keep, I don't know, holding them up before the Lord or you know, you just watch them go through the battle? What do you do for them? Obviously, you got to keep praying for them and keep calling them to, like what Mary said, their greatest problem is they're not seeing the truth, calling them to see the truth, calling them to understand what is going on in their life. Typically speaking, and this is my opinion, once we find the root of what's broken, demons are the easiest part to deal with. It's just like a curse operating in a person's life. For instance, curse of poverty. And this can go on through generations to where everybody in the recent history that we can think of, they were all poor. And there's a curse of poverty or generational curse that is set up. You can break that curse in 30 seconds with prayer. The problem is that influence, like we were talking in prayer Sunday morning, the spirit and the power of the air, the influence has influenced them to think a certain way. You can break the spiritual curse, but it may take them a lifetime to renew their mind and begin coming out of poverty thinking and actually see what God has promised them. And that's not demonic. That's a head problem, mind problem. They need some revelation knowledge. So you've got to pray for them. But 2 Corinthians 4-4, I believe, is the one I usually recommend that the God of this world who has blinded their minds, their eyes, deal with whatever, however they're blinded, call them to see, call them to truth. Because once they start saying truth, you'll know the truth and the truth will set you free. So it's the beginning of the process. That's where I would start. I wouldn't start chasing demons because you know what? You're going to torment them because all you're going to do is stir them up and you're not going to get rid of them and their life is going to get really nasty because these demons are angry and they're they're big. It's like you can either cut the hornet nest off and get rid of it or you can go out and shake it every so often. Well, if you don't have the authority to cut it off and get rid of it, I suggest don't shake it. They may. Once the question was once their thinking changes, will they still need a deliverance? They may. The way I know if they do or not, typically, what's manifesting? What is manifesting? Why do you think you need a deliverance? Well, I struggle with bad thoughts. That may have nothing to do with a demon. That could be you. Or, you know, I struggle with lying or I struggle with adultery or this, that and the other. You know, some things we have to say no to. That's just the best way to say it. When Jesus was in the garden, was he struggling with demons? No. He was resisting the temptation of his flesh to say, no to the Father, I'm not going to go through with this. And he resisted till he sweat blood. Had nothing to do with Jesus. Well, Jesus had demons. Jesus didn't have demons. Jesus was in a flesh container, which shows how strongly this thing can fight us. Sometimes we just have to say no to things and deliverance is not a catch-all. You know, I'm struggling with lying, so if I need some deliverance, go ahead and get deliverance. You'll be struggling with lying afterwards too. You can't get rid of sinful behaviors through deliverance. Sinful behaviors we have to grow through. We have to mature. And sometimes I personally get a little bit frustrated over that. Well, I'm struggling with my prayer time and it just seems like I don't like to pray. I need deliverance. Your flesh don't like to pray. I mean, this may have nothing to do with demons. This may be just plain the old nature of you. You don't need deliverance. You need to put down the flesh and crucify it. I did find the spot where it talks about angels, so let's briefly touch that and then that'll be it for tonight. Go back to Genesis 6 with me. If you brought your Bibles. Genesis 6 verse 1. When men began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw the daughters of men were beautiful and they married any of them they chose. Then the Lord said, My spirit will not contend with man forever for he is mortal. His days will be 120 years. So because of the introduction of angelic DNA into the human race got shortened everything down. Boom. We're not, we can't let this go on as long as it's been going on, where people live hundreds of years old. Verse 4. The Nephilim were on the earth in those days and also afterward when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children with them and they were the heroes of old men of renown. Now if you get into secular history and study that, in fact, we've got a couple of messages, two or maybe three online you can access to talk about the Nephilim where we did some really in depth research, not only scripturally, but in some secular history. Nephilim were what we would refer to now as superhuman people or part gods, kind of like Thor and these different ones that are lifted up in movies. They have supernatural ability, supernatural strength, supernatural size. They have skeletons of men that are 25 to 30 feet tall. They have skeletons in the Smithsonian. This is not normal. This is Nephilim stuff. I had one person say, well, the sons of God was Christians. It was believers. Then why did they produce that? Link it together. No, the sons of God were not believers. Why did God have to say, oh, we got a problem here. We better cut things short. We can't let a Nephilim live till they're six, seven hundred years old. The longest we can let this go is 120 years. If they were all just believers, what difference did it make? You got to look at the context of the whole thing and when you study Nephilim, they're a different being. So now take that back to Jude. So here you had the explanation of what happened. Now take that back to Jude. You know, I'm going to throw a side thought in here while you're going there. Jude chapter is only one chapter, verse number six. You know, when Jesus talked about the last days and he said, like in Luke and in Matthew, he said, be careful the deception is that in the other. And one of the things he talks about there is he said, watch out so that you don't be overcome with the anxieties of life and get into intoxication. And he specifically named drunkenness. He said, that's going to be a last days issue. Don't you find it intriguing that Christians are going headlong into drinking now and it's all fine? Doesn't any of that ever make you go, well, Jesus said there was going to be a bunch of drunkenness in the last days. It's a way people relax. Anxiety. Don't let the anxieties of life or the actual pressures of your present existence overcome you and you go into drunkenness. How many Christians have I talked to and they say, well, the only reason I drink is just to relax a little bit and take the chill off the day. And Jesus talked about you. He said that was coming. And I just find it intriguing that all of a sudden drinking is just acceptable if you're a church like us that is like, no, we don't want to get into that. You're weird. Side thought. Anyway, Jew chapter one verse six, and the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their own home. These he has kept in darkness bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great day. Okay, so now if you just take that one verse, it sounds like all the fallen angels, that's where they went. Read it in context. This is a story. Go to the next verse. In a similar way. Oh, so now he's going to compare these fallen angels with something. Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. Oh, the angels that are chained are the ones who got into sexual perversion, like Sodom and Gomorrah. There it is. There it says it. This is not all of them. These are the ones who left their first estate, Genesis six, and cohabitated with the daughters of men. That mixing was never supposed to happen. Out of it came Nephilim. Nephilim is the reason. Just a side thought. You'll find it if you listen to those messages online, you'll find it. Nephilim is the reason God wiped out entire cultures in the Old Testament. If you study closely, secular history like Josephus and some of these Jewish historians bring this out better than the scripture does, but you see it in scripture too. Noah and his family were the only righteous ones. That's why God had to get rid of the entire inhabitants of the earth and start over with Noah. Follow that in history and try to follow that in books that take you back to the original meaning of the word righteous. Noah was the only righteous one. Do you know what it literally means? Noah's family were the only ones left on earth who were not tainted with Nephilim DNA. They were the last ones. And God said, we got to clean it off and start over with Noah. Why? Because if we get tainted, everything in the human race with the DNA of fallen angels, we no longer can produce the Son of God. The salvation of this whole thing will be lost. And you go into the Old Testament when God said, wipe them out. Adults, men, women, children, animals, everything. Wipe them out. Study that in depth. Don't just get an attitude with God. Oh, what kind of freak is this? Those cultures were thoroughly infested with Nephilim DNA. And he said, wipe them out. You got to deal with this. So, the cohabitation and the sex between fallen angels and women is those who did that, he has bound now with everlasting change in the judgment of the great date. Why? So, they don't keep doing it. You know, that one's not hard to figure out. So, they quit. If you read, and I don't know if we have the actual book, but how many of you have read the book of Enoch? See, the New Testament refers to it. There is a book of Enoch. It didn't make it in our canon of Scripture. Now, the one you find online, I'm not sure it's the right one or not. But if you read that, Enoch goes deeply into this fallen angel thing. And what happened? And how that all worked. And my guess is the people who were putting the Scriptures together read that. And they thought it was too controversial or whatever. It freaked too many people out. So, we're not putting that in the canon of Scripture, what we call the Bible. The same way the Catholic Bible has books that the Protestant Bible doesn't have. Because later, somebody decided those are too off the wall. We can't have those in our Bible and they eliminated the Apocrypha books. I've read them. A little different. But the book of Enoch is a little different too if you read it like, whoa, that's different. So, I don't know if we have the authentic one or we don't have the authentic one when it comes to the book of Enoch. But he goes into the fallen angel thing really better than anybody. Because he was personally assigned by God to deal with them, the fallen angels. Which is a whole different slant. But, okay, we'll call that it for tonight.
