We are of Your family. We are Your people. Bought by the blood of Jesus.
Not because of any good or righteous thing that we have done, but by Your grace and by Your mercy.

And Lord, our heart and desire is that everyone would come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
That everyone would walk free. Free of the kingdom of darkness, but a servant and a slave to You.
King of kings and Lord of lords, we worship You. We welcome You, Holy Spirit.
Teach us, guide us, lead us. Free us. Do whatever you desire and you want in Jesus' name. Amen.
Amen. You may be seated. Good evening, everybody.
We're going to spend most of the time working out of the booklet tonight.
So if you need a hard copy, Abby has hard copies. If you have a digital copy, feel free to use it.
But while she's distributing that, I want us to understand how to walk victorious. Overcoming.
And have the ability and the confidence and the understanding to be able to do that standing on our own two feet.
Hearing the voice of the Spirit and so forth. So the main thrust of this book, this booklet, Spiritual Warfare Basics.
The main thrust is to show us some basic things about the kingdom of darkness and how it works and operates.
And how that we are victorious over it through Christ.
So with that in mind, we make sure that we walk clean and free. Not depending on anybody else.
We walk clean and free because of what God's given us.
So start on page 27. We made it to that point and it's not like we went through this book line by line,
but I think we covered most of the principles there. If something in your reading, something came up, you can bring it up in the question and answer time.
I want to cover four areas tonight and it won't take that long because once the stage is set, the rest kind of all work the same.
If I don't get involved in too many stories, we can get it done.
So getting rid of demons, Roman rule number eight on page 27.
We're going to give different situations of how this operates and examples.
And what I have written here is not the only way to do this. This is just a outline that you can follow.
The Holy Spirit may move it different for you. He may work differently through you in addressing demons, dealing with demons and so forth.
It's just an outline to help us understand a little bit or be able to wrap our heads around some things.
So it's broken down into four sections. Influences from the outside, that means they're not in our flesh.
They have not gained access to our temple. They're just kind of tormenting or oppressing or whatever they're doing from the outside.
On page 29, we have infestation from the inside. That means they got into our temple. We have to get them out.
Page 31 is getting them out of our physical house or physical property. Haunted houses are for real.
However, little oil on the door hinge helps squeaky doors. So every time a door squeaks doesn't mean it's a demon.
But there are spirits that haunt houses and motels and things like that. They can be gotten out.
And then page 33, cleansing items. So those are the four we want to dwell on.
And I will briefly deal with dealing with regional demons. On page 35, that is a very misunderstood subject.
It's written out in such a way it's pretty clear. The basics of it are pretty clear.
But because it's misunderstood, that seems to be one of the areas that Christians get the most weird.
I had someone approach me just this week and say, what do you think about casting out the lesbian spirit in the state capital of Minnesota?
Okay, first of all, you have no authority to do that. So don't get weird.
You're all looking at me with big eyes. So hopefully we get to that tonight yet. Let's start on page 27.
Getting rid of demons, influences from the outside. Well, how can you tell that you even have a demon harassing you, working around you?
I listed a number of ways. It's not the only ways, but I listed a number to kind of use to get the mind going.
You can feel or sense them. Have you ever sensed or felt a demon? Okay, few of you have.
Well, I'd love to just open this up for discussion, but then I know we won't get through this and say, how did the feel to you?
And how did you sense it? And what did it feel like? Maybe we can do that in the question and answer time.
But demons feel evil. If you want to kind of put it in a nutshell. It's just an evil, dirty, nasty feeling.
They're not peaceful. They're not calm. It's just an evil. Sometimes you get goosebumps. Sometimes your hair will stand up.
It just doesn't feel godly. There are physical manifestations.
If you're the next one down, if you see them, hear them, feel them, that's also a physical manifestation.
Sometimes people feel them grabbing them. Sometimes they see them at night. Mary shared a story of seeing one.
I'm trying to remember where she shared it. I must have been in prayer, but shared a story about seeing one shortly after they had gotten saved.
Many times you can physically hear them, depending upon what they're trying to do.
To me, there has to be some definite reason why we think a demon is trying to harass us.
It's not one of these things where a Christian, where Christians, something's not going right in their life and it right away is demonic.
A demon may have nothing to do with it. It might be your own where you're still messed up or out of faith or whatever.
Not everything is a demon. So if we want to get rid of something, let's make sure they're actually there.
Physical manifestations. Windows opening and closing that have no capability of doing that, like from wind or things like that.
Doors, same type of thing. Stuff moving around the house.
Physical objects moving. You know you've got supernatural activity around you at that point.
Sometimes you can smell them.
What do you think angels smell like? Or the presence of God smells like? Have you ever smelled the presence of God? Have you ever had that opportunity? Anybody?
There was a... and it hasn't happened here for years. It happened in the modular when we were going through those two, three years of revival stuff.
You would get out. It was middle of the winter. It's 20 below. And you'd get out of your car in the parking lot and you'd smell flowers, roses, just a sweet fragrance.
And it's like, we're in Minnesota. Everything's covered with snow. It's 20 below. This has to be God.
Because you can't smell flowers outside. You'd get inside and it'd just be a heavy fragrance.
Well, God smells good, which means evil smells bad. Sometimes you can smell them. It's a very pungent, rude, sulfurish kind of smell.
I've had people say they wake up in the middle of the night in their bedroom. It's just like it's this horrible odor. Just yuck.
And where did it come from? And they can't find a core for it. And it happens from time to time or it happens night after night.
You might be smelling their presence. The same way you can smell heavenly things, you can smell hellish things.
The attributes of the Holy Spirit are missing. It just seems like it is real.
You know how he gives us the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness? It's just like it just rests on us.
And it's so... it's just like praise bubbles out of us. Well, that's what God came up with.
So the demonic realm will copy that, try to imitate that.
And when you get under a lack of joy, a lack of peace or kindness or self-control, it's just like you're under this garment, under this covering.
The atmosphere is ungodly. It's radiating the fruit of the kingdom of darkness, hate, anger, sensual, sexual, vengeful.
Top page 28, dominating, destructive. And it's not... it's like it gets on you.
And you'll turn on worship music and it might lift for a while.
If you turn it off, it seems like it slowly creeps back in.
You get into a good Bible study or a good prayer service or a good service. It's like it's gone.
And you go home and you get quiet, especially at night. And it's like it's just this heavy presence that is so evil.
That's very likely demonic.
So that's just a few descriptions. So what do we do with it? How do we address it?
It gives it blow-by-blow there. And I laid it out very detail-wise. You don't have to do each one of those.
But you can. And I laid it out so you can go home and you've got it.
And you can use that as a guide and just go right down that.
But for me, if I was... if we walked into this place and it felt bad.
And there's times it happens. People bring stuff with them.
Remember, there's covens and everything out there praying against us can be simply an attack.
There's just times you need to clean the place back out. And the same is true for your house.
There's just times you need to go through your house and clean it out of spiritual stuff.
And ask the Lord if you've brought it in somehow through activity or items or magazines or programs or music or whatever.
And if you have, well then you need to quit bringing it in. You need to stop whatever you did that brought it in and clean it out.
So if I came in here and it felt nasty, the first thing I would do is I always begin speaking to them like they're a person.
Because they are a being. But I just speak to everything like it's a person.
Because it's just a way of helping me communicate from my side.
So I would, if I walked in here, let me just do an example of it.
If I walked in here and I felt that, the first thing I would do is I'd say, Holy Spirit, what is this?
Is there anything I need to know about this?
Because this isn't you. So what is this?
He might tell me, might not. You just wait a little bit.
I would also start with a little bit of worship.
Father, I worship you. This is not their place. This is your place.
And on that basis, I'm going to enforce that.
So whoever or whatever is here, I'm speaking to you now.
Now, I'm waiting for a physical reaction in my body.
That's the first thing I'll watch for with me.
Because our flesh is still fallen.
Romans 6, 7 and 8 says our flesh is an enemy of the cross.
It does not want to serve God. It wants nothing to do with God.
The body we're living in is not God-friendly.
That's why it has to be subdued, controlled, ruled, and parts of its desires killed.
Because if you let those desires of the flesh live, it'll just take you off the wrong direction.
So the first thing I'm looking for is a reaction in my body.
When I speak to them, they flare.
Because they know they're found out now.
Yeah, feel free to close that if you would.
When I speak to them, they flare. My flesh will react to that.
The first thing that the flesh tries to do when it feels demons is fear them.
That's the first thing that happens almost across the board with everybody.
When a demonic force manifests in even just presence,
the first thing the flesh does is go to fear.
Because it's fallen.
It's going to be redeemed. It's going to be made brand new, but right now it's not.
It's a container that has fallen.
So I'm looking for something to happen in my flesh to verify I've got their attention.
And it's almost 100% consistent.
And it's just me. Different people do it different ways.
This is how I do it.
So I'll speak to them, say, I'm talking to you now.
I want your attention because we're going to deal with you being here.
At that point, usually I'll get shivers or goosebumps or a desire to get out of here.
Your flesh will speak to you.
If you don't believe that, try to fast for a day or two.
You'll recognize the voice of your flesh really fast.
Because when it gets hungry, it talks to you.
Literally, it will reason with you why you should be eating.
The flesh has a voice.
So if you want to know why I don't know what my flesh sounds like, go for a two, three day fast.
I can guarantee you it'll start speaking. It doesn't take long.
Because the flesh is God is its stomach.
That's what Paul said.
When people go and God lead their God first becomes their stomach.
And of course that's physical stomach, but that's also a picture of appetites and desires and things that are not godly.
So anyway, back to the story.
So I'm waiting for my flesh to react.
Usually it does. That's just a little confirmation to me.
I'm going to go on with or without it.
Without that confirmation, I'm going to go on and do what I'm going to do.
But usually it's there.
People who haven't experienced that before don't understand why when I address something I feel these things in my body.
I just explained to you why.
And most people will feel them.
Most people who are genuinely having demonic problems, when they try to go for deliverance, their body speaks so loudly and the spirit speaks so loudly.
They become so full of fear, anxiety.
They never make the appointment or they'll leave the service or whatever that they give into it.
So that's what happens when you address them.
So I would address them.
I just in my back of my mind.
I'm just waiting to see if my body reacts at all, whether it does or not.
I'd say, okay, so I want to speak to you.
So I am here in the name of Jesus.
My authority is in the blood of Jesus Christ.
And I am speaking to you through the word of my mouth, which carries the power of God.
I am speaking to you and now I'll let the Holy Spirit lead me.
I am a child of God.
I am a son of God.
I am made in the God class.
Jesus gave me authority over you.
Whatever he leads me into to state, here's who I am.
I am seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
You have been defeated by Jesus on the cross and the resurrection.
So you have no authority and power here because I am not of your kingdom.
I am of his kingdom.
What am I doing?
I'm taking the fight out of them.
By stating my authority.
We have to know our authority no matter what we're trying to do.
As far as spiritual cleaning things up.
We have to know our authority and it's always good to state it.
Put it right out there.
So I am here as a son of God.
I am here under the covenant through the blood is where I get my power.
And the name of Jesus is my authorization.
So I'm speaking to you now.
So I command you will not stay here.
Now I'm trying to hear the spirit the whole time.
This could go numerous directions here.
If it's become a couple of little beehives or nests.
He'll alert you of that.
If it's just one spirit he'll whatever.
But he may have you bind the whole works together.
I tie you together which means I am saying no to all of you here.
Not all of you as I see you because I can't see you.
But the Holy Spirit can.
And everything the Holy Spirit sees in this place that is not of my father's kingdom.
I say no to you. I bind you together.
I command you leave this place.
And as of the last 20 years I just throw them in the pit.
And we can talk about that later.
The pit is a holding place for them until their judgment.
If you just cast them out they're just going to wander and come around again.
Just keep trying to do their thing.
But I kind of got released from the Holy Spirit quite a while back.
Could even be longer than 20 years.
I just got so tired of recycling demons.
It's like retreading tires.
You were here before. I recognize you.
Why are you here again?
I just got kind of tired of it. It's like I'm tired of dealing with you.
And the Holy Spirit said well just throw them in the pit and they can't come back.
No, that doesn't mean new ones won't try to get in.
But at least you're thinning the crowd a little bit.
So in the name of Jesus I bind you all together if it's kingdoms or if it's whatever.
If you can sense it's a certain spirit.
I bind you all together and I command you to go to the pit.
Be gone. I speak this place clean.
Lord, I invite your kingdom, your angels, your spirit come fill this place and let peace reign here.
I'm talking about a place which is actually, you know, you're feeling influenced from the outside,
but you're cleaning up your house. You're cleaning up this room, cleaning up whatever.
I went down a prayer line. This was years ago back in Colorado.
I went down a prayer line praying for different people.
And the next day, during the night I had some weird sexual dreams.
And it's like, where in the world that come from?
And the next day it's like the craving and the desire for another woman was just intense.
I didn't have any issues with that.
So I'm going to God and saying, what is this? Where'd this come from?
Well, he told me and he pointed out the person to me.
He said, one of the people you prayed for yesterday in the prayer line.
And he pointed them out. I won't say man, woman or otherwise.
He says, they struggle with a spirit of lust.
And that thing is trying to get on you because you laid hands on them
and made a point of contact.
The same way the spirit of God can flow out of us through a point of contact
other things can try to flow back to us.
So this whole thing of just laying hands on everybody anytime, any place
or getting whoever to lay hands on you, I'm not a favor of that.
You know, I have people coming and saying, well, we went to a church
such and such a place in Nebraska.
And there was a speaker there and we were there for three days.
So we got prayed for him. People were laying hands on us the whole time
and I'm going, what are you doing?
Did God tell you to have them lay their hands on you?
I don't know. Everybody was doing it. You could have picked up all kinds of crud.
Because you're just an open receptacle.
I'm just whatever, whatever is your thinking, whatever God has for me.
But whatever else is floating around may try to get on you too.
So be careful of just letting anybody impart into you.
So anyway, I wasn't letting this person impart into me.
I was trying to impart into them, but something tried to feed back upstream
and it got on me and it was trying to get in.
Well, once I recognized that, I just did what I said.
No, no, no, we're not doing this.
In the name of Jesus, I know you now.
You're a spirit of lust or adultery.
So I'm addressing you.
And however many you are, I don't care.
I'm coming in the name of Jesus and I restate myself just like I just did.
And I say no to you, I bind you, and I command you to go to the pit.
Get off of me, be gone. You're not going back to your source.
You left them.
So that was your mistake. Now you're going to the pit.
So be gone. And I command you to be gone.
And you wait to feel the spiritual release.
You can sense it. You can feel it.
And it disappeared and it left, and we were good.
Life went on.
Go to page 29, the top there.
I want to just read this example.
If you're having trouble with a person,
the outside influence will come on you to get you all stirred up in your thinking.
The stirring will not be godly.
So stirred up in your thinking is you're going to start thinking all kinds of negative things towards them,
or it's going to try.
And try to get you wound up.
Because you're having problems with them, you've got to really guard yourself to walk clean.
Because they can see you're having problems and they're going to try to enhance that.
So you've got to guard your heart.
Do the opposite of what they are trying to create.
Out loud, forgive and bless the person you're having problems with.
Do this out loud.
It's not only a good release of your faith, because faith is in your mouth.
It's also a good signal to them of where you stand.
If all you're doing is fretting, mumbling, thinking, ringing your hands.
I don't know what to do with them.
You are making yourself a landing pad for demons.
Because they're going to try to push you into sin.
To get unforgiveness, to get a bad attitude, to get bitter, to get whatever.
This is a war, people.
This isn't a little game where we play for a few days and then whoever wins,
well, chalk one up for them, we'll start with a new game.
No, this is a war that is ultimately after our soul or our children's souls.
Our lineage.
So you can't make yourself a landing pad.
And we haven't gotten into this yet of scriptural reasons how demons can get in.
But we gave you first John 3.8, which talks about sin,
and the devil has been sinning from the beginning.
And anybody who sins is of the devil.
So to make yourself a landing pad for the spirit of God is very simple.
Start presenting yourself to God on the basis of what he is.
Love, joy, peace, gentleness, kindness, meekness, faithfulness, on and on and on.
And you will find over time the spirit of God gets stronger on you.
Present yourself to the kingdom of darkness on the same principle just the opposite way.
Anger, hate, bad words, evil speaking, gossip, slander, unforgiveness, bitterness.
Just keep putting that out there and over a period of time,
the spirit of the kingdom of darkness will get very heavy on you.
So Paul said it differently. John said it that way.
Paul said it this way in Romans 6 and Romans 8.
The spirit's righteousness or sin, whatever we submit to, we become its servant.
Well, if you go with righteousness, that's the kingdom of heaven.
You've got angels, you've got the Holy Spirit, you've got all kinds of...
You've got the glory, you've got all kinds of things in the kingdom of heaven
that will come to support you if you submit to that.
If you submit to the kingdom of darkness, you have demons, you have darkness,
you have depression, you have his glory, which his presence is sorrow and depression
and hate and all those things will try to come and support you.
We're in the middle making the choice.
So for self-deliverance, if you're feeling something from the outside,
you get... you say, how do you recognize it?
We have to become self-aware.
When you're driving down the road, what are you thinking about?
When you're sitting at home, when you've got a break time and you're eating lunch,
what are you thinking about?
Because if you're not paying attention to what you're thinking about,
you may be thinking in the wrong kingdom and not even aware of it.
So we have to pay attention to what we're thinking about.
What's rattling around inside of us?
Now, if what's rattling around inside of us produces a lack of hope, frustration.
We're irritated. This example is with people.
So let's just apply it to a person you just irritated with certain people.
You would like to just chew them out?
You have nothing really good to say about them?
You're always wondering how they can be so evil?
You're not thinking the kingdom of heaven thoughts.
You're thinking the kingdom of darkness thoughts.
We have to bring Paul said every thought into subjection
and into the obedience of Christ, which is the anointing.
What we dwell on, we create ourself an atmosphere for.
And either God's kingdom will attract to that atmosphere
or the devil's kingdom will attract.
So it's good out loud to state what you're doing.
And you always have to state the opposite of what the kingdom of darkness
is trying to get you to do.
Rather than saying, I just hate them under your breath.
You need to say, God, I just want to love them.
Show me how to love them.
Instead of saying, I can't wait till they get theirs.
Say something like, God just bless them with stuff they don't even deserve.
Or go the opposite and put it out there out loud.
Pray God's best on them. Do this from your heart.
If you can't honestly do it from your heart,
you need to deal with the attitudes or the motives that are already rooted there.
Deal with your own sin, then go back to it.
And then your next point is we need to stay in guard.
Guard our heart. Watch out.
So influences from the outside, we can sense them.
We know they're there, address them, deal with them, get rid of them.
Talk to them like they're living beings because they are.
And the whole time you're paying attention to the Holy Spirit.
What do I say? How do I handle this?
Many people want help with their house.
Because if you've never cleaned your house out spiritually,
chances are really good. You've got critters there.
And these critters are going to try to harass you.
One way or the other.
They're the ones who try to keep you from going to church.
Have you ever noticed if there's a day of the week that you could really sleep in?
You know, one of these people who could get up early most every day,
but Sunday comes and it's like...
Oh, I could just sleep this morning.
And the feelings and the thoughts come.
You should.
But most time demons don't talk in the third person.
They won't refer to us in the third person unless they know we're really inexperienced.
If they know we have any experience at all, they'll speak to us in the first person.
Which means they will pretend they're you when they put the thoughts in.
They won't say, you should just stay home and relax.
Unless you're really inexperienced, then they will, because then they don't care.
But if they know you can recognize them, they'll say something like,
you know, the thought just comes, I should just stay home and relax today.
I've worked really hard this last week.
I think I'm going to go back to sleep.
That's what they'll whisper in your ear.
And you think it's you thinking it.
It's not you thinking it, it's them telling you what to think.
All you have to do to test that, to see where it's coming from.
Again, pay attention. Be aware of you.
Why am I thinking this? Where is this coming from?
All you have to do to test that is just say something out loud like,
I just love God so much.
I just want to get there and praise and worship him and listen for the next thought.
I've had him literally cuss at me.
You know, I should just call in sick today and let Dave do the church.
That's his job. He needs to step up once in a while.
I'm going to sleep in.
If I will say anything out loud like,
Yeah, that'd be nice, but God gave me something for somebody there and I've got to go deliver it.
You blanket, a blank, blank, blank. That thought will run through my mind.
It's like, caught ya.
That thought wasn't even my thought.
That was an outside influence trying to talk me into something.
So what do you do? You just go through it and you dress it and you deal with it and kick it out.
Get rid of it.
Okay, let's do page 29, infestation from the inside.
Again, the way you get rid of them is pretty much the same.
This one has an added piece, but let's start with one.
How can you tell they're on the inside of the temple?
You can feel them and sense them.
Now, the only way you will feel and sense them is if they're really, really bad.
I mean, it's like they're haunting the castle.
And or you've been free and now you sense something new here.
Something different, something that's not God.
I've had unsafe people tell me, I know I have a demon.
I say, oh, you know you got a demon. I can feel them inside of me.
I can rile them up.
If I leave them alone and don't do your God thing, they stay pretty calm.
But if I decide to go to church, it's like all hell breaks loose inside me.
I know it's a demon.
Probably right. Probably is one.
And that is one of the things, by the way, that the demonic realm uses to try to stop us from growing in God.
As long as we're not too serious about God, life stays pretty calm.
But you get serious.
And all of a sudden this is breaking and that person's blowing up and that's falling apart.
And heaven forbid you make up your mind to start giving five bucks every Sunday to God.
Now it's like your finances are under attack and you could lose your job and blah, blah, blah, blah.
And all you have to do is back up and say, yeah, I think I'm not going to do that anymore.
And all of a sudden everything settles back down.
If that isn't a sign of demons, there is none.
And there's so many people who will not go hot after God.
I've counseled so many people who say, whenever I get serious about God, my life falls apart.
You have demonic problems, maybe in and out.
And if you don't push through that and deal with that, you will never amount to anything for God.
Because every time you try, they're going to flare and shut you down, distract you.
You have to go beyond that.
So how can you tell? You can sense and feel them. There's physical manifestations.
Sometimes we can see it ourselves.
Sometimes we can't in ourselves.
Now we're talking about personal body physical manifestations.
Many times in a prayer line, you'll see a physical manifestation.
The first place you see it is in the eyes if they have access to the brain.
They have to have access to the brain to be able to look at you.
Not all demons do.
But if they do have access to the brain, when they get in God's presence or a Christian looks in their eyes,
they'll manifest.
And there's two, three things you look for.
One is, for me, especially if you see me take my glasses off in a prayer line,
I'm looking for a demon or I see one.
Because somehow this blocks it a little bit. I don't know why, but it blocks it a little bit.
But if I'm looking into the eyes of a demon, my eyes will begin to burn.
And their eyes just go like they're in fire.
That's one thing.
Another thing is the pupils of the eye will either go really tiny
or really big.
And sometimes they do this.
As you're looking at them, they're just going, the pupil.
Or it just goes really big and it's like, it's not dark in here, why is the pupil so big?
Or it goes really tiny, you can hardly see the pupil.
Or the pupil will go in the shape of a cat eye.
Or a snake eye.
That happens too.
Literally the pupil reshapes itself
and becomes the shape of the being looking out at you.
And the other thing that I've seen is the, you can have a guy or a woman mix.
You can have an eye that's blue or brown, whatever.
And it just goes black.
If there have been times I've seen the entire eye,
ball, the white and everything.
You look at them and it's like an empty hole.
There's no pupil, there's no iris, there's no white of the eye.
The whole thing went black.
And it's like, well, hello.
We've got something to deal with.
They manifested.
Infestations from the inside.
You live agitated, worked up, non-peaceful.
You could go off at any time.
We're not supposed to live like that.
I'm not saying we won't have a bad day from here and there.
But we're not supposed to live on the edge, agitated, all worked up, no peace.
We could just go off at any time.
Others can see it in your eyes.
You know, I had one person say to me, I think so and so has got demons.
I said, what do you, you know, Christians, everything's a demon.
What do you think they got a demon?
They said, have you ever seen their eyes when they get angry?
Now that part is true.
When people get angry, when people start spewing unforgiveness or hatred or bitterness,
look in their eyes.
You'll know if it's them or if it's demonically inspired and helping them.
You'll see it. They're manifesting. They're there.
The countenance is shaped and formed to be ungodly.
Our countenance will, it is amazing.
I don't want to take too much time here, but it is amazing to the things that science is discovering.
Do you know that if you take a blood sample from someone before they're saved and get them saved
and take a blood sample afterwards, you can see the difference in the blood under a microscope from before to after.
Literally the whole inside of the being changes.
I have watched people in the course of a year or two,
literally their facial structure so changed it was hard to recognize them after they got saved.
I've seen this with numerous people.
Our facial structure will align with not only our spirit,
or I should say the condition of our spirit, but also any other spirits living in our temple.
I don't know why, it just, it does.
And if someone backslides, for instance, turns their back on God,
within three, four years their whole face looks different.
The entire facial structure will change.
And vice-versa is also true.
If someone is saved, get saved.
Within three, four years their whole structure changes.
Facial structure.
Some people you can tell they've got demons just by looking at their face.
It's like, that's an evil-looking face.
You ever, you know, don't point at anybody in case you're thinking somebody here is like that.
But have you ever noticed some people's faces just look evil?
Have you ever picked that up?
That's because their spirits in there, including their spirit, is probably not saved and has gotten bad.
That are shaping the body.
Shaping the, how they hold their jaw, how they squint their eyes, how they, you know, it just reshapes them.
If you look nasty, the whole face, you know, when some people get angry, their face shape changes.
Not drastically. It's not like they look like another person, but they just look evil.
I've seen it on people in this church.
And they get angry and it's like, whoa.
If you had a picture of them held it side by side and somebody was looking, you see the difference?
Here's happy. Here's now. They're angry.
And it's like, whoa.
Yeah, that's an evidence. There's a spirit helping inspire this.
So what do you do?
The reason they're in their temple is in your temple is they have legal right.
They have some place here in sin.
It's either personal sin or ancestral generational stuff.
You got to clear that up.
If you don't deal with the sin, you'll never get them out.
That is their legal right.
1 John 3.8.
The devil is a sinner from the beginning.
Anyone who sins is of the devil.
And we're talking and we talked about that willfully, habitually, ongoing sinning.
You've got to clean that up because that is their legal right.
They couldn't touch Jesus because they had nothing in Jesus.
Jesus was without sin.
They will hang on to us if we have legal sin.
You'll never get them out.
It'll just turn into a dog fight and so forth.
Once you deal with the sin issue, many times they leave on their own.
But if you want to go through the steps, they're very much the same.
The generational sin thing, it's very self-explanatory.
It's very much the same.
Once the sin is dealt with, you just cut yourself away from them.
Get out of me, be gone.
I want nothing to do with you.
Any and all of you.
Nobody's going to hang back and hide here or anything.
You know, the Holy Spirit will lead you.
I bind you all together.
I always say, as the Holy Spirit sees and knows,
sometimes he'll even say, put in the number.
As the Holy Spirit sees, knows and numbers you.
Every one of you is going.
And boom, command them to leave.
Getting them out of your house and property.
Let's go there.
We don't have too much time left.
And again, the steps of stating who you are,
stating your position, why do you have the authority,
stating your authority, speaking to them,
binding them, telling them no, commanding them to leave.
And so those steps are pretty much all the same.
They just flow the same.
House and property.
This is a pretty typical one.
People want their house or property cleaned up.
How do you know demons are in there?
Well, again, there are physical manifestations.
Are you seeing things at night?
Does the place just feel really evil?
What is the deal that's going on?
So I'll just give one story.
This is a little bit more of an extreme story,
but whenever I think of house and property,
and I've gone through many houses
to help people kind of clean them out.
And this one always sticks out at the top.
So I'm going to take five minutes here
and I'm going to share this story
even though it's more of an extreme story.
It really brings the point across of what you do.
So we had in Colorado,
we had this young couple coming to the church.
They were newly saved,
came out of a rough background.
One day they came to church after service.
They said, we got to talk to you.
Their little girl was three, I believe.
She slept in a bedroom by herself in a crib.
And they said, something is coming at night
and biting her.
I said, how do you know it's biting her?
They said, she's got marks on her.
I said, when's the last time it happened?
They said, last night.
I said, does she have marks?
Yes, can I see them?
Yes.
So they lifted her shirt.
Her back was, you could see the mouth
print on the back in several spots.
Some were red.
Some were turning black and blue.
It was hard bites.
And one arm had a bite mark on it.
And they said, what is this?
I said, oh, it's demons.
That's obvious.
Oh, we've heard about that.
We don't know much about it.
We don't know what to do.
Can you help us?
I said, sure.
So I got two, three people that I wanted to...
I took people I wanted to teach in this.
And I said, are you brave?
Let's go do this.
I want you to show you how to do this.
So we went to their place.
They lived in what we would call section 8 housing.
So a lot of people had come and gone through that housing.
And the first thing we did, you walk into the house and you just start praying.
Lord, show me what's in this place.
I like to pray in tongues through the whole place.
I'll just start praying and just start walking through it room to room.
First thing I'm looking for is which room feels evil?
Does the whole house feel evil?
You look in everything.
You look in closets.
You look in it because weird things happen in weird places.
And many times the point of the sin is the ground.
And that's where they're hiding.
So, you know, you look everywhere.
Let's just call it that.
So I sent the whole group.
I said, just walk through the house.
I said, we're going to come back together and you tell me what you feel in every room
and what feels the most evil.
Well, long story short, everything felt kind of tainted, kind of nasty.
But one room everybody agreed on.
The room the little girl slept in was like nasty dishes felt evil.
So when I felt that, I stayed there a little while longer.
I said, Lord, show me what is this?
What is this?
So I knew what was coming.
In the middle of the room, it was a normal bedroom set up with a crib and so forth.
But in the middle of the room, there was a spot that when you walked into it, it felt cold.
It just like feels cold.
And fear would try to grab you.
And it was like a cylinder.
You could step into it and you could step out of it.
And it would go away and you'd feel normal again.
So I went to the corner of the room and I just closed my eyes and it just turned.
And you could feel its presence emanating, you know, depending upon what direction it was.
So I took him back up there.
I said, okay, so you say this room feels evil.
What in here feels evil?
I don't know, it just feels evil.
I said, do me a favor, go stand in the middle of the room.
I took one, just go stand in the middle room and tell me what you feel.
Oh, they just...
Oh, I just stepped into something.
This is gay, that's nasty.
I don't know what that is.
There you go.
So I called people up.
I said, so what happened in this room?
What are you guys into?
Because the first thing I'm thinking is sacrifice.
They opened a portal.
Somebody opened a portal in this room to the spirit realm that's letting these demons go through and are biting this baby.
Who did this? What is this?
Now we haven't done nothing.
We don't do witchcraft.
We don't do Ouija boards.
We don't do none of that kind of stuff.
I said, do you have any idea who lived here before this, that and the other?
Well, it was either the previous person or the one previous to them.
They said, someone did tell us when we moved in here.
They said, you know, the guy who used to live in there, he was just weird.
And they described him.
He would just randomly grab a cat and take it in here and he'd kill it for whatever reason.
So he was into sacrificing.
I said, did anybody redo this room?
Or is new carpet, because the carpet looks pretty good, but paint looks good.
Did you guys do this, whatever?
They said, well, yeah.
I believe it was them or the painter.
And they laid new carpet.
They said when they took the old carpet out, there was like a burnt spot in the carpet and on the floor.
And when they took the carpet out, there was a star drawn on the floor.
What's a pentagram?
I said, bingo, we just found what we're looking for.
So we proceeded to do what the book says and submitted that place to God.
This has new renters. This has new people in it.
These people are not of your kingdom.
We break that. We shut that up.
That portal has to close.
We command it to close.
It's no longer welcome here.
And just walked through it, agreed in prayer, commanded that thing to shut, and stayed there until we couldn't sense anything anymore.
It was gone.
And we just went through the house and cleaned up the rest of the residue and left.
Never once did that child have a problem again.
It was over.
So there's an extreme case.
I mean, you literally moved into an apartment where they had opened a portal.
And it's like, yeah, I can make for some restless nights.
But you just follow it through and you close them.
No matter what you feel in the property.
I prayed over one house not long ago.
And I said, so what are you troubled with?
And they said, just go through the house and tell us what you feel and which room is the worst.
So I went through and I said, well, I'm feeling this, that and the other.
And that room, that bedroom is by far the worst.
Yeah, that's what we feel too. That's what we thought.
So we prayed through it and this, that and the other.
And the one thing that's not in here real strong, we're going to get into it.
Once you clean something out, you have to hold the ground.
And we're going to talk about holding the ground or holding the land.
Haven't gotten there yet.
But you can't just walk away and now you're on a holiday pretending everything's great.
Cleansing items is very much the same thing.
Very easy.
Certain items, we just shouldn't own other things.
Christians get spooked about.
And it's no big deal.
My opinion, there's no reason and this is my perspective.
There's no reason for a Christian to ever own a Harry Potter book.
I mean, how is it going to help you spiritually?
It's all it does is give you information on how to make the evil side of the spirit realm work in the story.
So I mean, that's a no brainer. Just get rid of it.
But sometimes Christians get all spooked about different things and they shouldn't be.
Just take authority over clean it up.
Now, I do remember, for those of you that grew up in the church when you were little,
Sally and Ken, you might remember this. Dave, you might remember this.
Remember when the missionaries would come through, they'd bring all their witchcraft paraphernalia with
and lay it on the altar to display it?
Anybody have that happen? Remember that?
Yeah, that was normal.
I used to as a kid, I used to get all excited when I heard a missionary from Africa's coming.
Because I had nothing to do with what they were going to say.
Had to do with the suitcases they're going to bring in.
Because they'd always bring in all kinds of paraphernalia.
From which, yeah, sacred items from people that got saved and they turned them in to get rid of them.
And from which doctors and it was all the way from rattles to shrunken heads to all kinds of stuff.
And they'd lay it out, they'd display it across the front of the altar.
Now that I know what I know now, it's like, that wasn't the brightest.
That was not, no.
But they did it. Some items like shrunken heads, just get rid of it.
You don't need it.
If you feel evil on something that you want to keep, well pray over it and get it cleaned up.
And if it feels good to you, then hang on to it.
But some things we just shouldn't have. And that's all I'll say about cleansing items.
Everything's pretty much self-explanatory there.
I just want to briefly touch, dealing with regional demons or spiritual forces.
So if you've read this through, then I don't have to say too much.
If you haven't, you'll need to read it through to get the impart here.
What we have discovered to this point is one of the ways demonic forces get access to us
or we become part of their kingdom and allow them legal right to us is through sin.
And the only way you can unhook that is you have to unhook from the sin.
Confess the sin, repent the sin, get the sin under the blood.
Unhook yourself from that kingdom and get back to righteousness.
Rehook yourself with God's kingdom.
That will give you the ability to walk free of whatever demonic thing is harassing you
from the outside, from the inside, your house, an item, whatever.
It gives you the ability to walk free.
Here's the problem with regional demons.
Regional demons are there because of regional sin.
So if I brought up an example at the beginning.
So let's just go with it and I'll expand on it a little bit.
So we've got someone who is wanting to take authority
over the spirits of lesbianism and homosexuality and LGBTQ2
and that whole thing that is working in the state capital
that's causing all this stuff to happen in our state.
We're going to pull down those strongholds
and we're going to get rid of that stuff and change this state.
So now take the basic principle of why are they there?
The same way, why would they be here?
They've been given legal right.
Now I have jurisdiction over here, over this.
I alone don't have jurisdiction over the state or the state capital.
That is the people's capital.
And the government is actually the people's government.
We put the people in there who are in there.
We put the laws in place because we voted
and some laws we personally voted in and it's like same-sex marriage.
We voted that in as the people.
So from my perspective, some of these things are absolutely contrary to God.
They're ungodly.
So anytime you've got something that's totally contrary to God
and ungodly, you only have one other kingdom that's going to embrace that.
That's the kingdom of darkness.
So you're going to get the presence of that.
You're going to get the spirits of that.
Everything trying to support that ungodliness or that sin.
The only way you can get rid of that support or that presence, that support,
is you've got to get rid of the sin.
Now if we as a people of the state of Minnesota would repent of the sin
and change the law,
now the demons have nothing to hold on to.
The spirits.
They've lost their foothold.
They've lost their ground.
But as one member of the state of Minnesota,
I do not have the right to go there
and get rid of any principality or power who is established
because of the sins of the people.
The people need to repent
because the spirit is attached to the multitude, not to one.
It's attached to the multitude so the multitude can deal with it.
But you're going, well, fat chance it will.
Well, yeah, that's why we've got the problems we've got.
So it's in the hands of the people who open the door,
the people have to close the door.
The whole concept of we're going to pull down strongholds,
could you show me one place in Scripture where a spiritual stronghold
can be pulled down by a Christian?
If you find one, give it to me because I'm missing it.
If it's there, I'm not finding it.
2 Corinthians 10, we can pull down...
I believe you first are 2 Corinthians.
I think it's 2 Corinthians 10.
It speaks of pulling down strongholds,
but that's talking about the mind.
It's not talking about demons at all.
The demons are never mentioned.
Spiritual forces are never mentioned in 2 Corinthians 10.
It talks about arguments, pretenses,
things that set itself up against the knowledge of God.
It's all talking about the strongholds of the mind.
Not talking about demons.
There is no place to my knowledge
where Jesus addressed regional demons.
Now he does, I'm sure.
But when he was on earth,
Matthew, Mark, Luke and John,
I don't know of any place where Jesus ever addressed them.
I don't know of any place from the book of Acts
through the book of Revelation
where regional spiritual forces were dealt with by Christians.
I can't see it.
So if you can find it, please point it out to me
because at this point I say it's not in there
because we can't do it.
Because regional demons have to be dealt with by the region.
Now, can we live in this vectoriously? Absolutely.
I believe it was the church of Thyatira.
It's in that explanation there.
They lived where Satan had his throne.
I mean, that's what Jesus said to them.
You're doing good in these areas.
I know you're living where Satan has his throne,
but that's no excuse.
I still got some issues with you.
You need to clean up.
Wouldn't it be an excuse if Satan himself
had his throne set up here?
I mean, that cut us some slack.
Not in Jesus' mind.
Because he still can't touch us.
He still can't rule us.
He still has no authority over us unless we give it to him.
We walk victorious over everything.
That's why he prepares a table for us
in the presence of our enemies.
He doesn't kick the enemies out.
He just moves them to the side
and says, hey, I want to feed my kids here.
He sits down a table and loads it up
and sits us down and we're surrounded by our enemies.
They can't touch us.
They can't do anything with us.
So the whole thing of,
well, there's a spirit of such and such
over Cambridge.
Yeah, whatever.
Life goes on.
And it isn't going to affect me
because I've got the armor on.
And I want to keep the armor on just because that's what Paul says.
Here's how you deal with principalities and powers
and spiritual forces in high places.
Regional stuff.
Here's how you deal with it.
You put the armor on and you just live aware.
And if some kind of goofy thing tries to get on you,
kick it off.
I'll give you one example.
In June, I went with my brother and his wife to the Black Hills
and we were going...
I tried to...
Let me back up and preface this.
This is good advice for all of us.
It was advice given to me.
They said, if you want to really sense the spirit realm,
you don't wait until you need to sense it
because it's staring you in the face.
You do it daily.
Learn to sense the presence around you.
God, angels, demons, you practice this daily.
So anytime I go anyplace, I like to sense and try to nail down
what spirit is over whatever town.
When you're driving through the town, what spirit's here?
What are these people living under?
So we're going through a town in southwest side of North Dakota
and we stopped to get a bite to eat this, that and the other.
So we were there for half an hour, 45 minutes, maybe whatever.
And I'm sitting there
and I'm going, this town is depressed
and is struggling with poverty.
And when I grew up, it just didn't feel like that to me.
It just didn't seem like it was that way.
So I mentioned it to my brother.
I said, why would this town be struggling with poverty?
I said, it feels like poverty and depression here.
And he said, I don't know.
I said, well, what's happened here?
That would cause these people to be poor.
He said, oh, this might be part of it.
They had extreme drought and they had to sell off almost all their cattle.
It's a ranching area, very little farming, mostly ranching.
They had to sell off most of their cattle.
So now they're in the process of rebuilding their herds.
So when you rebuild your herds, you can't sell much.
You don't have much income because you're trying to keep everything you can.
To get your numbers back up.
I said, I'll bet you that's part of this.
Because this just feels nasty like poverty and depression.
Like what's the reason? What's the hope?
Why should I even try? That was the feeling.
Well, that's a small regional demon.
So once you recognize it, what do you do?
Well, you don't give into it.
It's singing its song of whatever is being produced there.
Well, you don't sing along with it.
I mean, if you live there, you know I am not going to agree with poverty
and any kind of depression that tries to get on me, I'm going to fight tooth and nail.
I'm going to keep the armor of God on. I'm not going there.
Some places you drive through it just feels like child molestation and perpetration.
Just a little town out in the middle of nowhere, those of you who did the worst.
There's no entertainment, there's nothing to do, but perp on the little kids.
And you drive through it and it's like...
This place is full of sexual sin.
Well, what do you do if you're living there or you're living in the area
or you know people who are? You don't give into it.
You put on the armor of God. It's a regional thing.
You can't get rid of it.
If you've got a town of 500 people, just a little town
and half of them are involved in some kind of sexual sin,
whether it's perping on children, wife swapping, whatever.
You're trying to get rid of that demon will do nothing
because it's got a welcoming pad with all their sin.
And it won't leave until they fold up that welcoming pad,
repent and get it under the blood.
Then it has no right. Then you can shoo it off.
As a group of people, you can shoo it off. Get out of here.
You have no right anymore. As long as it has right, it's not going to leave.
But see, the point is you can live in the middle of that,
a victorious, overcoming Christian.
It does not have to affect us.
So, as you can tell, I'm not big into pulling down regional stuff
because I don't see it in the Word.
I don't see Jesus ever did it. I don't see where the disciples ever did it.
I don't think we have the authority to do it.
They'll all come crashing down when Jesus comes back and sets up for the millennium.
Now he's in charge. So then that's all going to come crashing down.
But in the meantime, is where it is.
