The trumpet would come floating through the air to 17:55.330 --> 18:01.690 the table, so we'd all go quiet and then there'd be a muffled voice coming through the trumpet, 18:01.790 --> 18:05.750 but we could understand what it was saying and a message would be given to us and then 18:05.750 --> 18:10.730 the trumpet would go back and lay in the case where it was playing. He said that was normal. 18:11.790 --> 18:15.090 He said that's just how we lived. Well, that's right. It is a different spirit. 19:16.790 --> 19:21.310 So when you're doing deliverance with people, penning upon how 19:22.350 --> 19:26.750 serious they're demonized, if you're over here in the 7, 8, 9, 10 category, 19:27.290 --> 19:34.910 most of them see in the spirit realm readily. And that's because they still have stuff in them 19:34.910 --> 19:41.010 that has to be gotten out. And as it leaves, their vision grows dim. They can't see much 19:41.010 --> 19:45.290 anymore and so forth. But if they're seeing things, it's because there's a spirit in them 19:45.290 --> 19:49.870 giving them ability to do it. And if it's freaking them out or it's keeping them in 19:49.870 --> 19:54.170 bondage or they're losing sleep over it, it's likely not the Holy Spirit. You go back to 19:54.170 --> 19:58.430 the character of the Holy Spirit, the fruit of the Holy Spirit. What is God's character like? 19:58.890 --> 20:03.890 You lay that over what's happening with this person. And when it's not God, they don't 20:03.890 --> 20:08.830 match. So then it's a different spirit. But for people to see in the spirit realm, 20:08.830 --> 20:13.070 it has to be spirit enabled. And my mind is elsewhere. Nobody does this with me, I'm sure. And something said, stop and look at 23:16.190 --> 23:21.250 what you're doing. Now that could have been the Holy Spirit. And it could have been the 23:21.250 --> 23:28.750 Holy Spirit saying, speak up. They need to hear you. Maybe they on their own had their own 23:28.750 --> 23:34.050 ability. We know that angels can speak to us and we can hear them. The only one who, from my understanding of what 23:50.910 --> 23:59.510 the word says, the only one who knows our thoughts is God. He knows our thoughts because 23:59.510 --> 24:10.370 he's God. Scripture says no thought is hidden from him. Okay? However, if, because people will say, 24:10.430 --> 24:17.490 well, the devil can know my thoughts and I can't, except for one thing. Right up here in the brain. If they're living in us and they have enough 24:34.570 --> 24:40.410 access to our body that they can access our brain, like the guy who, when my mom said, 24:40.410 --> 24:48.010 when he gets angry, look in his eyes. Well, that spirit had direct access to that man's brain, 24:48.290 --> 24:52.390 probably had access to his mouth too because he was saying things that Christian shouldn't say. 24:54.350 --> 25:01.410 I had someone just tell me this week and I said, are you serious? I was in, I think, Walmart and someone from the church had some children with them 25:10.130 --> 25:15.830 and I was in the other aisle and the children were acting out and they were cussing them out 25:16.470 --> 25:23.310 with cuss words. And I was curious, who in the world would be cussing their kid up like that? 25:24.070 --> 25:33.530 So I came around to see who this was. They recognized me and said, hi, how are you doing? 25:33.530 --> 25:38.970 It's good to see you. Not because they come to church too. I said, they come to this church 25:39.630 --> 25:42.770 and they're using cuss words to cuss out their children in Walmart? 25:45.070 --> 25:50.390 Yep. I said, I don't even want to know who it is. Don't even want to know because I'm already 25:50.390 --> 26:00.670 disappointed. What? Really? We haven't grown enough yet to stop cussing? Not all spirits are, I mean most spirits don't have 26:56.790 --> 27:02.670 that kind of access to the brain. But if a spirit has access to the brain, 27:03.270 --> 27:09.750 it can read our thoughts. Other than that, they just study us and they watch us. 27:12.950 --> 27:18.650 And they're probably way better at studying people than we are because they've been 27:18.650 --> 27:25.890 doing it for thousands of years. But you know what, if you hang around with a person 24-7 27:26.470 --> 27:32.250 for one year, you probably have a really good picture of what that person's like. 27:33.130 --> 27:36.050 Just by how they act out. Because it's not the thought itself, you can take care of that. They're trying to shut them up. And it's, it really bothers me that the host has misinterpreted 31:38.330 --> 31:45.090 that. But anyway, so my question is this. Now that you once you came to realize that 31:46.550 --> 31:51.890 people need to hold their ground and you could be literally, you know, praying with people to 31:51.890 --> 32:00.630 cast out demons, who knows how many times, how do you now decide who to pray with and who not to? 32:01.270 --> 32:06.130 Is that just Holy Spirit saying, yes, this one, nope, this one's not ready? How do you handle 32:06.130 --> 32:11.110 that as a minister? You know what? That's become more difficult for me now than it ever has. 32:11.830 --> 32:12.830 And I'm going to tell you why. 32:15.210 --> 32:20.790 We're dealing with mental health issues on a scale in our society now that is through 32:20.790 --> 32:22.790 the roof compared to anything I've ever seen. 32:25.290 --> 32:32.470 If the mental health issue is caused by a demon, like the guy who had Legion, 32:34.590 --> 32:40.670 when you cast the demons out, the mental health goes away. He was sitting there with Jesus 32:40.670 --> 32:46.270 in his right mind, it says. Before it was cast out, he obviously was not in his right mind. 32:49.410 --> 32:50.050 However, 32:52.690 --> 33:02.920 if a person has genuine mental health issues and you cast a demon out, 33:04.560 --> 33:09.820 and it's not, their mental health is not tied to the demon, they have mental health issues. 33:10.320 --> 33:16.160 When you cast the demon out, unless you really know it's God, you really shouldn't have cast 33:16.160 --> 33:22.600 it out is the conclusion I'm coming to. Because they don't have the mental wherewithal to hold the 33:22.600 --> 33:31.260 ground. And you just set them up to get worse. And it usually takes one to three months, for I 33:31.260 --> 33:38.400 don't know why. That's a cycle. It's like a one to three month window. Most people who get 33:38.400 --> 33:43.740 delivered say within two weeks it'll be back the first time to see if it can get back in. 33:44.460 --> 33:47.240 Have you ever seen somebody with those mental health issues 33:47.840 --> 33:54.180 that you felt needed a demon cast out? Yes, absolutely. Somehow in conjunction with healing 33:54.180 --> 34:01.340 or something that you were able to get the full deliverance so to speak of both. Let me say it 34:01.340 --> 34:05.740 this way, my opinion again, I don't know everything, this is just my observation. Anybody 34:05.740 --> 34:11.340 who has mental health issues has demons because they're not mentally equipped to hold their 34:11.340 --> 34:17.480 ground. So they're automatically going to have other entities helping them run their body or 34:17.480 --> 34:25.860 live their life or whatever. That does not mean they're bad people because there's people who 34:25.860 --> 34:32.640 are mentally healthy who have demons. I mean, so it's not like, oh, they're so horrible they 34:32.640 --> 34:39.100 got demons. No, they're demons sitting here in people. Your familiars are waiting out there, 34:39.100 --> 34:43.760 but there's demons sitting in people right here. I mean, I'm not so naive to say everybody sitting 34:43.760 --> 34:55.320 here is clean. No, come now. Let's not get childish. The problem with the mental health issue, 34:55.440 --> 35:04.300 and this is hard and you have to hear the spirit, if you cast it out and they can't hold 35:04.300 --> 35:09.500 their ground, they're going to be worse off for it. And like I said, it's like a one to three 35:09.500 --> 35:15.480 month return cycle. And all of a sudden they were doing good, they were doing good, 35:15.520 --> 35:21.660 and then two months into it, 12 weeks, whatever it's like, they started losing it. 35:22.680 --> 35:26.080 Because they couldn't hold their ground and the spirits came back. You say, well, they have 35:26.080 --> 35:30.200 mental health issues. Well, yeah, but they got spirit problems too. And the spirit problems 35:30.200 --> 35:35.000 are helping with the mental health issues. It is hard now. Like for instance, back when 35:35.000 --> 35:39.360 this thing really got introduced to me in the early 80s, that's 40 years ago. 35:42.440 --> 35:50.640 We did not have people taking the mental health drugs we have now. It was a rare person 35:51.280 --> 35:57.920 that they'd be on something for depression or they'd be on something for whatever makes 35:57.920 --> 36:04.300 no difference. It was rare. So if something manifested, chances were really good. It was 36:04.300 --> 36:10.420 a demon. Now you've got people who are on different medications, different drugs, 36:10.540 --> 36:14.120 they can get off. Like for instance, we had this was back 36:17.260 --> 36:23.880 2015. Let me say 2015, 2014, 15. We had a lady, she was sitting here in the front row 36:25.380 --> 36:33.040 and she started acting a little weird. And I thought, what is that? And she got up, 36:33.040 --> 36:40.000 walked out about where Molly was, fell, hit the floor and started shaking and 36:41.880 --> 36:51.820 almost like writhing with her body. And so then a few people helped her get out there. 36:54.080 --> 36:58.140 And my oldest son was still with us at that point in every service. He was still 36:58.140 --> 37:04.280 a praise leader. And he kind of looked at me and go out there with her. 37:04.920 --> 37:08.620 So they got her out there. He said by the time I got out there, he said there was three or four 37:08.620 --> 37:13.380 people trying to cast the demon out of her. And he said they barely got her into the four 37:13.380 --> 37:16.440 year and they're already taking authority over and casting it out. And he said I 37:16.440 --> 37:19.840 walked up there and I looked in her eyes and I said, this isn't a demon, this is a drug. 37:24.280 --> 37:27.180 And he's really good at seeing that. Like Mary's really good. He's got the same 37:27.180 --> 37:29.960 ability. I'm not that great. I didn't grow up with drugs. 37:31.080 --> 37:36.480 I mean, you can be stone, stone to stone, stone. And I probably won't notice. 37:38.500 --> 37:44.120 It's like, well, they're really happy today. But anyway, they got her out and he finally said back away. 38:03.700 --> 38:09.080 Let's just look at this. And then she started calming down. And of course, 38:09.120 --> 38:13.980 they thought the demons were leaving or she came back to consciousness enough. 38:14.680 --> 38:20.960 He asked her, he said, did you take any drugs? Didn't want to admit it. 38:23.220 --> 38:29.180 Finally, yeah, what'd you take? Or she told him, how much did you take? 38:30.480 --> 38:36.000 Well, she hit overdose on, and I'm not going to say the drug. 38:37.300 --> 38:42.120 This is a Christian lady. She's been Christian since I met this lady and I met this lady in 38:42.120 --> 38:48.700 2005 or six. And if I'd name her, most of you would know who she is. She comes to church. 38:49.980 --> 38:56.260 And she's hooked on drugs. And she took a little bit too much and had a reaction. 38:58.120 --> 39:00.860 It wasn't a demon. It was drug related. 39:07.420 --> 39:12.740 So to answer your question, Walt, it's getting really hard. Because if you just look at the 39:12.740 --> 39:17.320 physical, you'd swear that woman had a demon. She was getting weird sitting up here and I 39:17.320 --> 39:20.540 was questioning it. Is there something starting to manifest? Well, then when she went and 39:20.540 --> 39:26.200 fell over and started writhing and shaking and quaking, it's like cast it out. 39:27.300 --> 39:31.900 Never was a demon. She was having a reaction to drugs. So they got her off to the hospital 39:31.900 --> 39:36.220 and they gave her some counter medicine for it and blah, blah, blah. 39:41.120 --> 39:47.600 See, unless I was really hidden from what was going on when I was growing up, 39:47.600 --> 39:50.340 there was nobody going to church who was hooked on drugs. 39:51.320 --> 39:55.020 They might have taken aspirin because we didn't even have Tylenol back then. 39:55.680 --> 39:59.980 They might have taken aspirin for a headache or maybe they had some nitroglycerin and, 39:59.980 --> 40:04.080 you know, for heart or things like that. But I'm talking like opiates and that kind 40:04.080 --> 40:09.740 of stuff. There's nobody hooked on that kind of stuff. So you didn't get that mixed message. 40:10.800 --> 40:15.860 People with mental illness or are manifesting drug issues look just like demons 40:16.740 --> 40:23.460 manifesting. It is sorcery. Drugs fall in under sorcery. It comes under pharmacia. Yeah. 40:24.620 --> 40:29.800 And in Revelation where it talks about sorcery and anybody who messes with sorcery is not going 40:29.800 --> 40:36.540 to get into heaven. If you look under that, it's pharmacia. Where we get our word pharmacist, 40:37.100 --> 40:47.700 it's drugs. But it's become very prevalent. It's become very confusing. We have a lot of people 40:48.660 --> 40:53.080 who are struggling mentally for various reasons. I think a lot of it could be 40:53.080 --> 40:59.180 environmentally involved. There's all kinds of theories I have. Why do we have so much of the 40:59.180 --> 41:06.320 population struggling with mental issues? I don't know. But the problem is it gets really 41:06.320 --> 41:10.700 murky if something goes wrong and they start acting out because it's off balance. 41:12.060 --> 41:17.500 You know, the lithium gets off. And people when they're lithium are off, you're convinced 41:17.500 --> 41:23.440 a demon is talking through. I mean, it's just so weird. And it's like, no, actually, 41:23.440 --> 41:30.700 they're lithium is off because they've got an imbalance. And it's hard. It's hard. I don't like 41:30.700 --> 41:37.220 it anymore. I don't like it anymore. And I will vie on. I won't cast something out unless I know 41:37.220 --> 41:44.640 this person can hold it. Because if they're mentally struggling and I cast something out, 41:44.780 --> 41:50.060 I just did them in a disservice. Have you had that happen where you've had someone 41:50.060 --> 41:55.260 where the Holy Spirit says, Nope, not now. But later on, they matured and he said no. 41:55.420 --> 42:01.380 Yeah. Okay. And or they got their medicines leveled. I will always revisit it if I think it's 42:01.380 --> 42:07.340 medicine involved, medically involved. I'll say, you go to a doctor and get level, 42:07.580 --> 42:12.040 then come back and we'll look at the demon issue. Right now, I ain't touching it. 42:12.880 --> 42:17.500 Because even if it is a demon issue, and I know they have a mental issue, 42:18.300 --> 42:20.460 they're on something to stabilize them for whatever. 42:22.200 --> 42:27.840 I don't know. They've got the maturity to hold it. So it's really messy. I don't like it. It's 42:27.840 --> 42:35.840 really messy. And that's where we as Christians have to become wiser, myself included. And the medical realm looks at us and says, you people are weird. They're having a reaction 42:51.000 --> 42:59.820 or whatever. And that's on us. Because we're just plain not getting the training we should get. 43:03.240 --> 43:09.320 I'm trying to learn this. I'm trying. It's not coming easily for me. 43:11.780 --> 43:16.180 Mary pointed somebody out just last Sunday. She said, you see something? 43:17.120 --> 43:21.320 She said, did? Greeted him. Talked to him. She said, were they on something? She asked me, 43:21.320 --> 43:27.340 were they on something? How would I know? She said, didn't you see their countenance in 43:27.340 --> 43:32.640 their eyes? Because I'm a farm boy who was raising the church and I've never done drugs 43:48.300 --> 43:54.620 in my life. Why would I know what somebody on drugs looks like? We are a city on a hill. And when we're just doing our job, whatever we're doing, 44:17.880 --> 44:23.280 living our life, somebody is watching us. Absolutely. If you go out into the night sky, 44:23.280 --> 44:27.380 if it's clear tonight, and you look up, you'll see lots of little stars, little lights, 44:27.780 --> 44:34.540 and your eyes are automatically attracted to those lights. So we are being watched. 44:35.680 --> 44:39.940 And then the second thing is, you've touched on it several times in a roundabout way tonight, 44:40.580 --> 44:48.560 in Hebrews 514, it says solid food is for the mature who because of training have had their 44:48.560 --> 44:54.960 senses who because of discipline have had their senses trained to discern good from evil. 44:55.400 --> 45:00.660 I think it's referring to our five senses and we've seen examples of that tonight or heard 45:00.660 --> 45:08.440 you speak of examples of people seeing demons, hearing them, feeling them, tasting them, smelling them. 45:11.600 --> 45:22.440 Yeah. Can you feel them in your house? I mean, have you, are you sensitive enough to your house 45:22.440 --> 45:27.600 to where you know when something shifts in your house? And you can feel it. You can feel where 45:27.600 --> 45:36.940 it's at. You can... This is stuff that God wants us to be able to do. We should be able 45:36.940 --> 45:43.780 to recognize a different spirit. But we're not taught about it. So therefore, we never do it. 45:43.920 --> 45:46.240 We never practice it. If you go back in Ephesians 3, he's talking about enlightening men and making 46:36.180 --> 46:41.180 it plain to them regarding the Gospel and the mystery, verse 9, the mystery that was hidden 46:41.180 --> 46:49.020 through the ages and was concealed until now has been made known to us, the revelation, 46:49.020 --> 46:56.440 Paulian Revelation, so forth. Verse 10. The purpose is that through the church, 46:58.060 --> 47:07.840 the complicated, many-sided wisdom of God in all its infinite and all its infinite variety 47:08.360 --> 47:15.360 and innumerable aspects. See now, remember a little while back we said that God is infinite? 47:16.200 --> 47:23.700 Well, right there it said it. His wisdom, the many-sided wisdom of God, infinite variety and 47:23.700 --> 47:29.780 innumerable aspects. It cannot be finite. It has to be continually growing. Well, look 47:29.780 --> 47:35.000 at it this way. You ever think about this? Every time a human being is born, God has somebody 47:35.000 --> 47:42.700 new to love, so his love capability has to expand to include them. Every time somebody 47:42.700 --> 47:53.800 new is born, God has to have a plan laid out for their life. So, he had to enlarge his, 47:54.540 --> 48:01.120 his, how would you say, his pre-planning capability to include a new soul on the 48:01.120 --> 48:07.140 earth that he's going to bring salvation to. He had to enlarge till they were conceived. 48:07.820 --> 48:12.600 He didn't need to. But once conception came, he had to have something in place for them. 48:12.700 --> 48:16.220 So, God is infinite. He's continually growing, growing, growing. 48:16.820 --> 48:23.220 So, the many-sided off-track and many-sided wisdom of God might now be made known 48:24.320 --> 48:29.860 to listen to this, to the angelic rulers and authorities, principalities and powers 48:30.840 --> 48:38.500 in the heavenly sphere. The intent was that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known 48:55.380 --> 49:02.040 by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places. 49:03.260 --> 49:07.660 According to the eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, 49:07.660 --> 49:12.640 which I won't go into that because that's a whole big can. We're going to open when we go into that. 49:15.850 --> 49:24.510 The church, that's us, is being watched by the principalities and the powers 49:25.730 --> 49:32.710 in heavenly places so that they can see God's wisdom. 49:37.130 --> 49:46.740 Now, if that doesn't make you go, oh, dear Jesus, because how many of us live our life in such a way 49:47.420 --> 49:54.400 that all the spirit realm, good or evil around us, can watch us and say, I see God in her. 49:55.320 --> 50:01.440 Do you see the wisdom of God flowing out of her or him? I see God. 50:03.420 --> 50:08.960 That's what God is trying. One of the things God is trying to accomplish through the church 50:08.960 --> 50:23.060 is show the spirit realm his wisdom. We're always being watched. I just hope we're really not dropping 50:23.060 --> 50:28.920 the ball too badly like the Christians who are cussing out their children in Walmart. 50:29.300 --> 50:34.340 The spirit realm is watching that. And I bet they didn't look at that and go, 50:34.980 --> 50:43.160 there is the wisdom of God. It's actually quite serious. 50:47.460 --> 50:52.960 So, you want to say something? But it's not, that home is not under your authority. But the rest of the home, it's their property. It's their home. It's their realm. 52:57.950 --> 53:05.870 They have the authority. So I'm going to throw a challenge out to you. Every house you go in, 53:05.990 --> 53:10.950 try to find what the strong man is. What is the strong man in this house? What sticks out 53:10.950 --> 53:20.490 as being the strongest demonic stronghold here? And practice that. It'll be eye-opening.
