Yeah, if anybody have any questions or thoughts or anything, right here in the middle there's one. So if you can figure out how to get the mics turned on when the mute button goes red, it means it's good to go answer it. All right, right there. So with the person that you were talking about, where the cancer went back generations, did you have to come to the place of knowing where it came in to be able to deal with that? No. We just needed to know what we were dealing with. And to deal with generational demons, you approach them differently than one that you personally let in or struggle with. You approach them as a generational demon. You bind them as a generational demon. Once you recognize, oh, we've got a generational thing, you just address them as such. If you don't, you never get rid of them. They're very legalistic and they hold themselves very much to, you don't know what you're talking about. We don't have to go. They're just very legalistic. Graces of God, legalism is not. God doesn't like legalism, especially in this covenant. So if you're addressing them as such, do they go, is it easier? Yeah, it's easier. That one was still a fight though. Remember I told you there was one person and I don't know if this is where they got in or if this was along the way. I don't know. Remember there was one person that in the process of getting rid of some of this stuff, the Lord showed me a beating heart in somebody's hands. I shared that earlier on. I'm presuming it was a human heart. I'm presuming it was a human sacrifice. That was in this person's lineage. So they were drawing on what they considered considerable legal right, you know. But once you realize, oh, this generational thing, then the Holy Spirit will lead you down a different direction in addressing it. I mean, we got rid of it. The person got healed and they were fine. But yeah, right up front it was, it was the grace of God that brought that thing up because I didn't understand generational spirits at that point. And this was during that time when God was teaching me the hard way. And you know, I look at that and why did you have that was to teach me something. And he let this spirit come up and just make a mockery out of me. But I learned something in it. The Holy Spirit was able to show me some things because it was so proud and arrogant that just spilled all the beans. So once you know what you're dealing with, yeah, then it's easier. The same thing with, and I know we've talked about this briefly before, we'll talk about it again, but it's the same question. When you're dealing with, I call them astral projections. Some people call them night walkers, things like that. When you're dealing with humans, that's what we're talking about. Humans who have left their body and are outdoing evil. You can't address them as a demon. They won't leave because they're not a demon. And that one, I learned the hard way too. You just, you can't address. You have to learn to recognize what you're dealing with. And the Holy Spirit will show you, but if you're totally, my people, perish for lack of knowledge. I mean, if you're just dumb as a rock, you're not even, you don't even know what you're looking for. Um, so therefore it's a big struggle, but God is always faithful. He'll always teach us. He'll always show us, but sometimes it's, it's a fight. It's a fight of faith to stay in there until you learn what you got to learn. Okay. Anybody else? Did that answer what you were up to? Okay. Anybody else got anything? Oh, we'll be done tonight. Oh, right up front. Not done yet. I haven't seen anything come in on my phone yet either. It just seems to me that one of the main things that's been lost, and as you are going all of, going through all of this, the fear of the Lord, the fear of God. There's no godly fear. And you know, it's, I couldn't help. This is just my opinion, but I was thinking, you know why we came to your church. You know why. But you know, I was thinking you in a way are almost a friend of God, because you are so stubborn in, in a godly stubbornness because you know your assignment. And this is a thing that is so grievous because there is the fear of God and that holy respect. He has been brought down to the level of so many men. Equal with us. Equal. And this is the thing. It's so sad, because right now what we need are more of you, more of like that, because you care enough for the sheep to tell the truth. Well, I appreciate the flowers. No, I'm not, I'm not trying to flatter you. But I can be stubborn without God too. But Vern, to God be the glory for that, because he's put that in you. Yeah. No, it's, that's true. It's to him. That part's true. That's the way he made me. But that fear of everything you were reading is what's going on today. Yeah. It, I was, I was very comforted when I was reading Paul's life. And then I read some stuff that is not scripture, but is Jewish history about Paul. And I was very encouraged when the Holy Spirit told me, he said, you know, you can be stubborn. He said to me, just what you said. He said, but one of the most stubborn people I've ever worked with was the apostle Paul. And you could see it in secular history, easier than scripture. Secular history. This guy, this guy was stubborn, man. When he, he was like a bulldog. When he got ahold of something, he would not turn it loose if it killed him. But then the Holy Spirit said this, but I needed that quality or he would have quit on me. Okay. So it's, it's, but it doesn't mean we've, for those of us who are stubborn and we're like bulldogs and when God shows us something, it's like, I'll die for this. I'll never turn from this. That doesn't mean we're fully sanctified yet. You know, there might be areas where we're still struggling in the flesh with our stubbornness too. But he made us, how would you say persistent for a reason? And that can go good or that can go bad. But now I'll follow your thought up there. Right now you said we don't have that now. No, you know what we have now? Tolerance to the point of inviting evil in. Everything we're tolerant of, our whole younger generations have been told to be tolerant of everyone and support everyone and embrace everything they're doing and blah, blah, blah. There's not near enough. I'm with you on that. There's not near enough people taking a stand and saying, this is evil. No. Period. This is evil. No. We're fighting against this. I don't care if it hurts your feelings. I don't care if it offends you. I don't care. This is wrong. We need more of that. Anybody else? Good. Let's answer a couple of these questions here. And I'm looking something up at the moment. So give me a second because I want to put a little scripture behind this. If I can, if I can find it. Okay. One of the questions that came in. Can drugs be a generational demon? Anything can become a generational demon. Lying, stealing, alcoholism, drugs, getting pregnant before you're married, anything, anything that's not God can become something that tries to set up in our family. The question is, my grandma and my mom and I have done some drugs. Could that open ourselves up to demons? Okay. So the short answer is yes. Any sin can open you up to demons. Now we're not talking, I presume, legal drugs like Tylenol or stuff. Those are drugs too. I'm presuming we're talking illegal hardcore drugs. I want you to see something here. It's in Revelation chapter 18. This is one of the spots it's found. So let me read it to you. And then I want to give you a little insight on something here. Revelation chapter 18, verse number 23. This chapter is dealing with part of the the Hora Babylon thing and the bad things that are happening in the tribulation period of time. Verse 23. It says, never again shall the light of a lamp, talking of the place where this was taking place, God's going to utterly destroy it, never again shall the light of a lamp shine in you, and the voice of bridegroom and bride shall never be heard in you again, speaking of the city, the place. For your businessmen were the great and prominent men of the earth, and by your magic spells and poisonous charm, all nations were led astray, seduced, and deluded. That phrase, magic spells, in the King James, that is sorceries, for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. That word sorceries in the Greek is pharmacia. It is where we get pharmacy from and a pharmacy is where they deal with drugs. So it's trying to say that drugs were so prevalent in this land that it led astray nations of people. Now we have nations living in America. So it affected more than just a few people. It affected mungs of people, throngs of people, and God was going to destroy it because of that, because of drugs. Magic arts is the way the amplified says it, but the actual word is, why is that doing that? The actual word is drugs. So let me say this. So now if I wanted to get strange here, and I've seen people do that, my phone locked up on that text wouldn't go, let me back. And I, you know, well, let's take authority over that demon. Well, we don't know what's a demon that did that. So don't get weird. But anyway, drugs, sorceries, magic arts, they all work together. And yes, they will open the door to spirit realm. Hands down. Another person watching online, they're saying one German to another, your stubbornness is because you're German. Thank you. It's a nice excuse. Truly, I don't think that's it, but we laugh about it. So let's go with it. Pastors, so another person. Pastor, sir, are you saying cancer is a demon? No, cancer can be a very physical thing, or it can also be inspired by a demon. Can go either way. If so, if someone like a parent had it, how do you address that to get it off the rest of the generations down? We're going to talk about that once we get through this booklet, we're going to start going into all various topics, familiar spirits, generational spirits, what are demons, where they come from, we'll just try to answer a whole nest of questions. So rather than getting into it here, we'll talk about it later. We will talk about it, and you can break it off so that it stops. Ask the Holy Spirit how it got in, and could it be an infirmity in a different person that causes sicknesses, but not cancer? And then in another family member, it manifests as cancer. So in other words, if a spirit gets into a family line, does it manifest the same in every person? No, it does not. I am convinced it's part of the deception. So it's harder to figure it out. You've got to have God to help you. But I'm also convinced that the kingdom of darkness, everything in the kingdom of darkness is an anti, what is called antithesis of God's kingdom. In other words, everything God's kingdom is, this is just the opposite. God's kingdom is very organized and orderly. This is just the opposite. I'm convinced part of the problem why that it just manifests differently in different people is because they are so unorganized and such a big mess. They can't get their acts together. So they just, it's like someone blindfolded with a bat trying to find a pinion. They just swing at everything. And one person that might cause this and another person might cause that, but they do try to get a family thing going. Another person. Okay, this person says that at night they struggle with being, when they're sleeping, they wake up and they're being held down and they can't move or talk. Could this be a generational curse or how do I find out what that is so I can deal with it? I have tried everything and still have problems with that. Well, the first thing you have to do is ask the Holy Spirit. He knows exactly what that is. The second thing, and I'm going to apply this from dream language, when you're having a dream and you can't, you know, something bad is happening, but you can't use the name of Jesus, you can't speak something in a dream that would be godly to address what's happening in your dream. It's like you can't get it out. That's a lack of prayer in your life. You're weak in being able to proclaim and declare and profess. We call it prayer, but it, you know, it covers a lot more than, a lot of times we think of prayer as asking God for something. No, prayer is declaring, it's claiming the promises, it's quoting the word, it's speaking to the situation. Prayer goes a lot deeper. I'm going to apply that here. It may apply, it may not. This is not a word from God. This is me going, how much are you speaking to this spirit? That's because I'm thinking it's probably a spirit if it's happening to you. How much are you speaking to this spirit when you're awake and telling it what it will do and what it won't do? And asking God for scripture, give me some ramas on this. Give me some scripture that I can attack this thing all day long. Give me revelation. The fact that when you wake up, you can't say anything. You can't even say the name of Jesus would indicate to me you're not attacking this 24 seven. This thing should be terrified to see you wake up because you're going to rip it apart for the next 16 hours. It and whatever it's in its line if it's generational. My first advice would be ask the Holy Spirit what this is about. Ask for revelation knowledge and you're at war. I mean, once it's to the point where it's paralyzing you, you can't move and you can't speak, this is not from the outside. This is from the inside. It's gotten control of the brain and it's paralyzing you and it's stopped your motor functions. You can't call out the name of Jesus. This is war. This is not something to take lightly. This is war. But this is not a war for when you wake up. This is a war for 24 hours a day. So my advice would be get some rama words on it. Ask the Holy Spirit what this is about. And you just kick the crud out of this thing all day long until it leaves you alone. The victory is ours. Do not make a covenant with it and say, well, this is probably what I have to put up with all my life. No. Okay, there's one more here that I have and I don't know. Can mental illness be a generational spirit? Anything can be a generational spirit. Anything. Grandpa went blind. Mom went blind and I'm struggling with my vision. That can be a generational spirit. Anything can be a generational spirit. Anything that is not God can be a generational spirit. So, you know, don't get it in your mind while it's just the big things. It's just the, no, it's the little foxes that spoil the vine. Don't just shoot for the big things. Anything can be a generational spirit. So yes, to answer that question, yeah, mental illness can be a generational spirit. Did you have anything besides that that came up there Kevin? Okay. Any other questions here? One way in the back. We get a mic over there. So generational curses is my understanding. You have to intercede and repent for the generation, the grandparents, the parents. My question is, what if the parents are still alive? Is it like you say for the, what you're talking about earlier, they're still a 24. You keep attacking and you keep repenting and you keep this, get this generational curse gone. Okay. So here's, here's where children struggle because they have loyalty to their parents. You have to separate yourself spiritually from your parents. If they're still alive, they have the right to address this themselves. So you can't get it out of the generational line because they have to do it. They're still alive. Once they're gone, now it's you. You're the only one alive and it goes on from here or your generation and it goes from here. But if they're still alive, they have the right to hang on to that spirit as long as they want it. That's their choice. So you literally have to separate yourself from them spiritually and children struggle to do that. When we get into talking about that, children struggle to do that because they feel loyal to their parents. Doesn't mean you have to throw them under the bus and leave them. We're not talking something drastic like that, but you have to separate yourself from them spiritually. Part of that is you no longer condone the sin they're in that is allowing this spirit to stay there. And a lot of times children don't like to take a stand against their parents for something their parents are doing wrong. You're going to have to or you're not going to get that demon off your back. You're going to have to make a clear cut in prayer, repentance, distancing yourself from it. We'll talk about all this, but you also can't laugh and make jokes about it when you get together with mom and dad. You're going to have to take a stand and say, you know what, mom and dad, what you're doing is sin and it's wrong and I'll have no part of it. And children struggle to do that because they want their parents to be happy and they're old and they like them and blah, blah, blah. Well, you can make covenant with this thing and live with it or you can deal with it. And here's the next thing that it's brought up. Well, I'll just deal with it once mom and dad die. You're running a chance here because it knows what you're planning to do. What does scripture say the pattern is of spirits when they know what's coming? Book of Revelation gave us perfect insight into that. Revelation 12, I believe it is, Satan came with great fury because he knew his time was short. When spirits find out you know and you have it, we'll do it next year. They're going to do everything in their power to take you out this year so you never get next year. And it doesn't mean kill you physically, it means take you out spiritually, take you out emotionally, take your family out, whatever. I don't know, maybe because we can't see them. I don't know, this isn't a game. It's just plain not a game. They are playing for keeps. We have to get in the same mindset. And see the other question that comes to my mind is this. Okay, let's wait until mom and dad die and then we'll deal with this spirit. What makes you think God's going to back you up at that point? You already betrayed him because he wanted you to deal with it now. Well, I don't want to deal with it now because I'm going to honor my parents more than I honor you. So we'll wait until they're gone, then that won't be an issue. Then I'll honor you. What makes you think he'll back you up? You're presuming something there. This is presumptuous faith. He may not back you up. He may let you, if you read on in judges, he just let them sit on it. He said you wanted it. There you go. See how that turns out for you. Well, we're in a different covenant. We are. But sometimes we think God is just playing, going to jump over backwards through the hoop for us anytime we say jump. I don't know that God goes back to the thought of who do we fear the most? Our parents are God. Who's God? Do we have the fear of the Lord? I don't want to get into any stories because I've got some, but I have seen people presume on God's mercy and grace too long. And when they went back to apply it, it was gone. They missed their moment. And they lived the rest of their life without getting the answer they could have had but they played a game for a while thinking, well, I can live this way for now. And then later, I'll change my ways. What makes you think God will honor that? We're not in charge. See, that's that's a posture of I'll do what I want. And then later, when I change my mind, God will be there to rescue me. What makes you think he will be? He's in charge the whole time. And this game thing, he doesn't always respond to that well. Just saying. Sometimes it's like, well, you wanted it, you got it. They may still make heaven, but they're never going to get the answer. They could have gotten back here. They're never going to get it over here. It's too late. You lost your window of opportunity and God just won't be used. Let's just say it that way. See, there I go being intense again. Saying God's in charge and we're not. And he won't just fall over backwards for us anytime we ask him to. No, he won't. I'm sorry, he won't. He's an honorable holy God and it's our job to please him. You can't expect he's going to do cartwheels for us just to entertain us. Because he doesn't always do that. And I've got stories, but we're too much out of time. I won't go into any stories there, but I've seen people push it too far. I'll give you one story. I'll give you one. I'm feeling pushed on this one. I might have shared this one before. This was a very traumatic thing for me. But the first funeral I ever did as a head pastor was for a young person who was in my youth group. And he died drunken. He ran into a tree, killed himself. And we had had, when I was the youth pastor, we had had some heated discussion on alcohol. And drunkenness, Galatians 519, read it. Drunkenness, those who are in drunkenness will not inherit the kingdom of God. Apply that how you will. It just says it. You figure out what that means. I harped on that. And there was two guys who hung together and they were kind of wanting to do their own thing. Well, we're young people. We're only young ones. And we're only going to be able to have this kind of fun ones. And once we get older and have children and every responsibility and payments and we won't be able to do it then. And just God will forgive us and we'll get serious about serving God, you know, in dropping the alcohol then. We don't want to do it now. Blah, blah, blah. He died drunk. So I asked his father was gone. His mother was elderly. So I asked her, I said, I won't do this if you don't want me to do it. I said, can I use this as a living illustration and go back to the young people and say, there is a very, very, very, very, very, very good chance he's in hell. Because he died in rebellion. He died drunk and he knew what he was doing. And he knew he should stop that he was postponing it for a later date. He had made treaty with it. It was serving him for the time being. And later he would get it out. Well, he never got the later. So I went back into the youth group. They were still all there. Told them that. His friend who was in cohort with him was livid with me. How dare you say that he could even be in hell? He was a Christian. He loved God. Well, evidently, he didn't love them enough. Got to love them with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. And apparently he loved alcohol more in some ways than he loved God. He was livid with me and kind of gave the indication and then later followed through on it. I will not serve a God that would send someone to hell just because they made a mistake. Well, this wasn't a mistake. This was a willful choice. And he never lived long enough to correct it. Well, I ain't going to serve a God like that. It took 10 years, maybe a little longer. I don't remember the exact timing. It took a number of years, let's say 10, 15 years, which is a very short period of time. His friend who was alive, who was livid with me, committed suicide. Neither one of them ended well. Now, I can't say, you know, suicide can be numerous reasons. You can't say he went to hell because of it. But if he was still in the mindset that he had been previously, I won't have anything to do with a God like that. Well, then we know where he is too. Well, I'll do it later. What makes you think God's going to back you up, number one? What makes you think these spirits who just heard what you said are going to let you live that long to fix it later? I'll serve God when I'm on my deathbed. When I'm ready to die, I'll ask forgiveness. What makes you think he's going to give it to you? What kind of game do you think we're playing here? And I've seen numerous of those people never get a chance to die on their deathbed. They die in a head-on-car accident or something like that, and they're instantly gone. Well, guess what? You never got a chance to play your game. Where are they at? Well, I'm not the judge, but I've got a good guess. They died unsaved, live in their own life. I'll do it later. Well, first of all, the demons know that, so they're going to try to stop that. And number two, why do we presume God is just a big sugar daddy, a candy-given out being that once we finally turn to him, he's so excited, he just gives us everything we want right on the spot. What do you say? Do you have any scripture that would say, God wouldn't do that? Yes, I do. I'm glad you asked. All I got to do is find it. It is in Hebrew. I'll find it, and then I'll tell you to go there. I believe it's Hebrew. Oh no, not Hebrews. It's Thessalonians. Let me go there. See if I can find it there. Otherwise, I'll use the cheat sheet, and I'll look it up in the concordance, and I'll find it that way. That's not it. Let me see if I can find it. I can see where it's right on the page on my regular Bible. So let me look it up. I'm not seeing it. I'm probably looking right over it. Let me look it up a different way. I'm going to get this and give you the scripture on this. God doesn't always just jump there. Yeah, it is in 2 Thessalonians. Go with me to 2 Thessalonians chapter 2. I went right over it in my hurry here. So what we'll do is we'll give you the picture of this chapter, and then we'll give you the verse. Chapter 2, starting at verse 1, 2 Thessalonians 2, I'm reading out of the NIV. Concerning the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, don't become unsettled. Don't let anyone deceive you. Verse number 3, the He will come. There's got to be things that happen first, the great rebellion. The man of lawlessness has to be revealed on and on and on. Verse 5, don't you remember that when I was with you, I used to tell you these things. Then it talks about us and him who's holding it back. Verse 7, for the secret power of lawlessness is already at work. But the one who holds it back will continue to do so until he's taken out of the way. That's us. That's the church. That's our job right now. We are the resistance. Verse 8, and then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy the splendor of his coming. By the way, verse number 7 is one verse that a lot of pre-tribbers use for a pre-tribulation rapture. We have to go. Well, actually the Antichrist is a man of peace until the middle of the tribulation. Then he becomes the Antichrist or against God. So we could be here for the first half even with that verse. But anyway, going on that's just for free. The lawless one will come in accordance with the working of Satan, counterfeit miracle, signs, wonders, verse 9, so forth. Verse 10, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing, they perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason, the reason that they didn't, the reason is they didn't love the truth. They played the game but they wouldn't submit. For this reason, God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness. You play the game long enough, God says, fine, I'll let you believe what you're doing will work and it will destroy you because you're choosing the lie over the truth. So there is the scripture for it. You just can't, well, I know what the truth is but I don't love it enough to do it. I'll do it ten years from now. I'll do it on my deathbed. I'll do it once I get married, whatever. By that point, what makes you think God will respond? You may be so deceived at that point you're not even going to ask him to respond anymore. You so believe the lie. But my main point out of that scripture is this. What makes us think God is standing by willing and ready so that as soon as we're done with our goofy little arrogant game, he's just going to jump in and rescue us. That scripture says, no he won't. He may for some, but there's no guarantee. You refuse the truth all this time. Boom. Have your lie. I'm not going there. And they're lost in their wickedness. So with that, I think we better end in prayer, huh? Pretty heavy. So Lord, help all of us here, all of us watching online. Help every Christian in this world, especially us Americans, to take living for you serious. This is life and death. This is not a game. This is not something we can play with, not something we can postpone, not something we can presume that later you'll be okay with us if we just come around later. Lord, we have to love you with all our hearts, all mind and strength. And that needs to be in us to the best we know how to do that at all times. Forgive us for the areas we have gotten sloppy and we've played with this. And Lord, if anybody here in my voice is being convicted now of, you know what, that's what you're doing in some areas. Lord, give them the courage to repent, which means not just say, I'm sorry. I'm sorry for giving me Lord. That repentance means turn away from what you're doing. Be convinced in your mind you can't go back. You can't keep doing this. He's asking you to stop. Be convinced in your mind enough you turn away from it. And you stop it. You quit playing the game. So Lord, help us submit to that and come under that in Jesus' name. We're looking for life, not death. And I go back to what you had admonished him back at the end of Deuteronomy. I think it's chapter 30. There's curses and there's blessings. Now choose life. Choose the blessings. Choose that route. Lord, we have to actively choose to serve you. And we do that with all our heart tonight in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. Be blessed. Have an awesome night. Thank you for coming.
