10:33.700 --> 10:36.440 When His kingdom can't be divided against itself? 10:37.000 --> 10:39.520 Jesus made it so plain in the New Testament. 10:40.020 --> 10:42.260 It's Satan who kills and destroys. 10:42.920 --> 10:44.760 I have come that they might have life. 10:45.320 --> 10:48.080 You know, He really separated them for us. 10:48.440 --> 10:50.700 So if they're separated in the New Testament 10:50.700 --> 10:52.680 how can they be intertwined in the Old? 10:53.120 --> 10:53.680 They can't. 10:54.300 --> 10:57.400 So here is the thing that should give you some understanding 10:57.940 --> 11:00.820 and this will be in the book that we put together for this 11:00.820 --> 11:02.540 but this is really important. 11:02.540 --> 11:05.360 Dr. Robert Young of Young's Analytical Concordance 11:05.360 --> 11:08.320 and hints to Bible interpretation, that's the name of the book 11:08.320 --> 11:11.020 points out in the original Hebrew 11:11.320 --> 11:13.160 the Old Testament was written in Hebrew 11:13.160 --> 11:18.600 the verb is in the permissive rather than the causative sense. 11:19.560 --> 11:22.980 So to read it the way it was written in Hebrew 11:22.980 --> 11:25.200 Deuteronomy 28.7 11:25.200 --> 11:29.500 it would say the Lord will allow or permit 11:29.500 --> 11:33.380 these plagues to be brought upon you 11:33.380 --> 11:36.560 versus the way it's written 11:37.460 --> 11:41.780 NIV says the Lord will inflict you with the boils of Egypt 11:41.780 --> 11:43.060 and tumors, etc. 11:43.660 --> 11:47.360 The New King James says the Lord will strike you 11:47.360 --> 11:49.320 with the boils of Egypt 11:49.320 --> 11:53.020 the King James says the Lord will smite thee 11:53.020 --> 11:55.380 with the bot of Egypt, etc. 11:55.380 --> 12:01.420 The reason it's written like God is doing it 12:05.700 --> 12:07.940 is the next... 12:08.980 --> 12:12.000 No, give me my, give me my PowerPoint back. 12:12.360 --> 12:12.880 Thank you. 12:16.060 --> 12:19.120 The reason it's written... 12:19.120 --> 12:20.720 Can you give me the next slide please? And you find mistakes all through the Bible in the English language 15:25.240 --> 15:35.640 because of the translators. This is one of them. Sickness, disease, God's cursing them. No. 15:37.420 --> 15:46.520 And until you settle that, you can't have faith for healing and miracles. Because you 15:46.520 --> 15:52.520 never know if it's God or not. See, this could be God trying to teach me a lesson. That's 15:52.520 --> 16:01.460 why I've got heart disease. See, until that is settled, faith is pretty much useless because 16:01.460 --> 16:07.240 you don't know what to believe for. So then it's a if it be thy will, oh God. We don't 16:07.240 --> 16:11.220 know what your will is. It could be your will for me to have heart disease. Then again 16:11.220 --> 16:17.700 it could be your will to heal me. But since we don't know, well whatever your will is, just 16:17.700 --> 16:23.180 let it happen. Well I can guarantee you what's going to come out of that one. Faith calls 16:23.180 --> 16:27.360 those things that are not as though they are. You're not calling anything there. You're 16:27.360 --> 16:33.840 just submitting to faith whatever happens, happens. Not ruling it. That comes from 16:33.840 --> 16:42.760 not understanding curses and blessings. Sickness, accidents, death, etc. No, they don't come 16:42.760 --> 16:48.520 from God. God may lift his hand of protection and allow these things to come upon his children. 16:48.720 --> 16:54.480 They're permissive. He'll permit it to happen. But he is not the instigator of them. 16:55.620 --> 17:11.720 He didn't cause them. God did not cause Satan to sin. But he let him do it. God does not cause you and 17:11.720 --> 17:18.140 I to sin. In fact, James says God's not even tempted with sin, much less have the ability 17:18.140 --> 17:27.800 to tempt us to sin. It's not God's fault that man sins, but he lets us, he permits it. 17:28.740 --> 17:37.920 See, there's a huge difference there. Neither has God a child abuser. He does not 17:37.920 --> 17:44.000 chasten or child train his children with such horrible things. He chases them with his words 17:44.000 --> 17:51.220 to their spirits. And I'm reading out of that book from Young's there. So keep in mind, 17:51.260 --> 17:56.120 as we read the chapters that most concisely describe the difference between 17:56.120 --> 18:11.740 blessings and curses. God permits the demonic realm to put evil on us. He does not cause it. 18:13.040 --> 18:18.860 But see, here's the thing you have to understand. The devil in the demonic realm hates you 18:18.860 --> 18:24.700 and me so badly that if God lifts his hand and says, well, I'm not going to protect 18:24.700 --> 18:31.740 him in this area. They're just going to come in and fill the vacuum because they despise us. 18:32.160 --> 18:38.880 They're not going to cut us any slack. So if they have room to get in and cause us 18:38.880 --> 18:44.320 trouble, they'll just automatically do it. They'll just jump in and cause us trouble. 18:44.860 --> 18:50.420 So we looked at the curse of the fall and I've got a number of slides here for you. 18:50.420 --> 18:56.180 I have the scriptures for it, Genesis three. The woman still is the brunt of the demonic. 19:49.200 --> 19:58.640 The devil still hates women. They still have pain and childbirth. So it go on. 19:59.960 --> 20:05.020 Is the ground under a curse? Yes, it still is. It still brings four thorns and thistles. 20:05.020 --> 20:09.740 Next one. Do we still sweat to earn a living? Yes. 20:10.380 --> 20:18.620 So all these things are still in place. Even though Jesus bought it all back, it still comes by faith. 20:23.260 --> 20:30.740 Oh, thank you. That might help. Does God cause the death? 23:00.340 --> 23:05.780 No, it's our choice. It's the flow, the master we get under that brings us death. 23:05.780 --> 23:14.260 God will permit that. But he will make sure that if you're serving that master, your wages will be death. 23:15.380 --> 23:22.480 If you're under that flow, God's watching over that flow to make sure that happens because it's here now, we got to deal with it. 23:22.980 --> 23:27.240 But he's not the one causing that death. 23:32.300 --> 23:36.880 The only way we get out of it is through Jesus, obviously. So we're dealing with something that is false worship here. 24:13.530 --> 24:19.870 So if we get into false worship, that's the flow we're going to be under and that flow will bring curses. 24:20.150 --> 24:23.090 Verse 16 curses the man who dishonors his father and his mother. 24:25.030 --> 24:32.990 So if we do not honor our parents, we're going to be cursed. Because God curses us? No. 24:33.850 --> 24:41.330 There's two flows here. The flow of God is to honor your parents. The flow of Satan is to dishonor your parents. 24:41.530 --> 24:52.390 If you get out of this flow and over into this flow, you will have the fruit of that flow, which is death, destruction, everything that goes with that flow. 24:53.010 --> 24:57.830 That death and destruction, the bad things that come into your life are called a curse. 25:00.370 --> 25:09.090 If you get over into God's side, if you honor your parents, he will bless you with two promises.
