Thank you for everything you have provided for us, including your name. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, Father. Thank you for what you've provided. We ask that by your spirit, you watch over us tonight. Help us to glean what you want us to know. In Jesus' name, I speak specifically against anything that would try to transfer or would try to to come and rest here, not allowed, not allowed to rest on us, hear anything in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. And Lord, we also pray for there's a number of people who are not feeling well and they can't be here tonight. Lord, we call them back to health. In Jesus' name, make their immunity strong. I pray they exercise their faith. In Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. You can be seated. Good evening, everybody. By the way, I'm a little distracted. Good evening to you who are joining us live stream. We are going to show something right at the beginning. Someone sent it to me said, are you aware of this? And I was not. So it's a good instructional piece. But anytime you look at something like this, you take authority over anything trying to get on you or attached to you and don't go in interested in, wow, I wonder about this. And, you know, like interested in going to see a concert and you're looking it up and trying to figure out the details. This is just, I want to just see what this is about. Period. I want nothing to do with it. That's the attitude. You get your guard up. And that's not just this. I'm talking about anything like this. And there's more and more of it showing up all the time. So Lord, we refuse anything specifically from this. Trying to transfer, trying to hang out, trying to anything. We want nothing to do with it. In Jesus' name. All right, you can bring up that home page. This is what is happening this weekend in Boston. If you want to just slowly scan down a bit, notice it's sold out. If you want to go down to there, check out the gallery here. They're on the left hand side. That is typically what they have. I have never seen Satan in his original creation. I think that's really close to the right picture. It's the goat's head on a human body with wings. I think that's just really, really close to what his original design was. Scripture says he can come as an angel of light, so he can shape shift. Most of the time when he comes, he doesn't take that form. But now if you'll go back to my phone, it's up at the top. It's the three line bars. Some place it should say... Straight up in the arrow, it says SatanCon. Right beside Donate, on the right hand side, right there. About SatanCon. Just go down there and click on that. Let's see if that's the same thing that came up for me. About SatanCon. Yeah. So they advertise it there. It's sold out. Now on mine, you might have to go back to where it says... I'm looking for presenters and on mine you had to get in that way. Gallery, fundraiser, ceremonies, advocacy. Home page. Things to do about SatanCon. Mine it said presenters. I don't know if you want to poke or... There it is. It's at the bottom. All right. So here, I just wanted to point something out. That page doesn't look the same as mine. Mine starts with... 2023 presenters. Oh, okay. Go back to the bottom of that one previous or whatever. And does it say anything about... Back up special events flyers. So they start out Friday evening with a ball. And then slide on down a little bit further. There's their guest speaker for Friday evening. Notice the upside down crosses and everything on the outfit, on the earrings. Even the teardrops are upside down crosses. I just wanted to point a few of those things out. And then the presenters, if we want to look at that weekend, you've got... I just think it's interesting. You got the opening ceremony at noon. And then the first presenter is Satanic Panic in Brazil on Friday. And then you got Hellbillies, Visible Satanism in Rural America. So they're going to show how you see what's going on and recognize it. If you go to Saturday, the second one down is Deconstructing Your Religious Upbringing. Yep, by Judas Marduk or whatever. Reclaiming the trans body, atheistic strategies for self-determination empowerment. And then the next one down you don't want to miss that one. Sins of the flesh, Satanism and self-pleasure. You know, it's kind of right in your face. So I just wanted to point that out and I will give a warning, and those of you that don't have enough self-control, you're probably going to find it anyway. So I'm going to say there's a short video. I think it's on the home page. My instruction is don't watch it because it's about two minutes long. And it's just basically the first minute is like a picture of Boston from the air, and then I don't remember what the second half was about, but it's not really showing much of anything. But they have this music going in the background that has to... I don't know what it's designed for, but it took a bit for me to get the yuck off of me after I watched that. It's just nasty. So my advice is don't go there. There's no reason that it does... There's nobody speaking anything. There's no messages in it that they're not telling us anything. They're just playing this music that is apparently not good. So if you go there, that's up to you, I guess. So we're going to jump into a new handout tonight, which repeats some of the things we've had. Now I've got the two previous booklets up here and the two previous handouts. If you don't have those, it would be great if you want to get them. I've got a couple of people here to help me. When class is over, you can grab those if you don't have those booklets and stuff. And I remind you, I'm putting this into handout form because this is still a work in progress for the third book. And there's things in here that I've repeated because I'm just not sure how I want to put the third book together. So there's stuff in this handout we've looked at already, talked about. And there's some places, there's some typos, and it's worded wrong. So when we get the book, throw this away, because everything here will be in the book. It'll just be in better form. So it starts on page two. Most of that is introduction stuff we've already talked about. Can a Christian have a demon if you go to the first indented thing? Why is it that some Christians will exhibit behavior that seems like you are not dealing with the person anymore? Is like something else takes them over and speaks and acts out etc. through them. Could they have a demon? Why is it that sometimes when a Christian gets angry, when you look into their eyes, you feel like you're looking at someone else. It gives you the chills, the creeps. So it's basic stuff we've already talked about. Page three, can a demon have a Christian? We talked about that and what the basic reason demons can access Christians. The basic reason is sin, whether it's ancestral, generational stuff or personal. And we talked some about agreement, especially in transference of spirits. So we've covered most of that. If you jump over to page four, letter B, the devil and his realm have been made powerless. I want you to write in some scriptures here. They will be added in the book when I put it together, but they're not here. So I want you to have them. So I'll wait until you get a pen or something. And you can write it in if you need a pen or something, we can get you one. But Luke 10.17, under letter B there, the devil and his realm have been made powerless. John 12.31, Colossians 2.15, Hebrews 2.14, and 1 John 3.8, which will just help give supporting scriptures to... The thing we have to remember is if we stand in our authority and what Jesus did for us, the devil's kingdom is already stripped of their power. They are powerless. If we stay under the flow of God and the blessing and don't cross over to that flow. Now you start living in that flow, they can do some ugly things. But if we're over here, this is what renders them powerless. Living in the promises, the rights we've been given, the authority we've been given. The problem is, and over here is a willful choice. This isn't a mistake or a happenstance. This is a willful choice to cross over into this flow. And it usually comes by disobedience of some kind. We just know we shouldn't be there, but we're there. Well that opens the door. So now they can wreak havoc in your life. So as long as we stay obedient to God and stay over on this side in the willful choices of our life, there's always stuff we're doing that's not God. But that's covered by grace if we're not willfully choosing it. So as long as we stay over on the other side, we'll be fine. He's been rendered powerless. He likes to try to make us think he hasn't. But he is been rendered powerless. All authority has been stripped from him. So there are some scriptures to help you. So our problem is not the power of the devil or demonic. Our problem is the power of sin. And we go through Romans 6, 7, and 8. And I believe we did that already. Ready enough of those scriptures that this is kind of review. I want to point one scripture out. It's James chapter 1 verse 14 and 15. The whole concept of the devil made me do it unless you're really demonized. That's not true. Now if you're really demonized, yeah, he can make you do some stuff. And we'll talk about that later. But each one of us is tempted when he's drawn away by his own desires. Well, the devil is tempting me. Actually, if he's doing anything, he's tapping what he sees is already there. Our desires. And the spirits are helping stir them up. So each one is tempted when he's drawn away by his own desires and enticed. And then it gives the process of how that finally takes hold in their life and causes problems. But it's not the devil who's causing us to want to sin. This is an old nature thing. This is a flesh thing that we have to grow and get sanctified past. So that is just part of that whole thing. If you go over to page 6, like I said, this whole first part is kind of review. We talked about it, but we didn't give it to you in written form. So here it's in written form. Core of our problem, as humans is sin, it's not the demonic or the devil. And sin has been stripped of its power, too, by the way. Both of them, scripturally speaking, they've both been stripped. We don't get rid of demons to fix our sin problem. We get rid of sin to fix the demonic problem. So now I'm going to bring something up and talk about that a little bit. For those of you who, you know, have experience in this realm and or you went and saw the movie, come out in Jesus' name, you're going to hear testimonies of people who have struggled with sin for years or maybe most of their life. Once they got deliverance, they were free and they no longer struggled. Okay. Well, I have no issue with that. Sin was still the problem, though. They were struggling with sin. Now, had they known what we talked about here and done some self-deliverance, they would have been free years and years and years ago. But they didn't know because the church is not talking about it. Church isn't preaching it. But again, to kind of clarify that, if we are struggling with an area of sin and we're repenting and we're trying to stop and we go a few weeks or a few months and boom, we're back into it and then we feel so bad and you only do that cycle a few times and start really getting condemned and you must be such a loser, worthless Christian and so forth, but you keep repenting and keep resisting and this, that and the other. If this is a cyclical thing and you're trying to fight it but you keep falling back into it, there could be demons helping this. I will agree with that. But the only reason they are there to torment you is because of the sin. And it typically goes in that cycle because the person doesn't know their authority. So once you realize, oh, there's a cyclical thing happening here. James 4-7 is everything. You just do yourself deliverance thing. It explains it in the book, how you walk through that. And if there's critters there trying to stir up a generational problem, a familiar spirit or whatever, just get rid of it. But people will make it feel like, well, the devil has so much power because I've been warring against him for so long. I've been taking authority over and kicking him out and he just hasn't left. Well, if you've been doing it over and over and over for any length of time, you're doing something wrong. Because we have been given full authority and we don't have to keep hitting him on the head until he's in such pain he finally decides to leave on his own. We're doing something wrong if we're not getting the freedom, if we're not getting the release. And we know it's demonic. So I would highly recommend, and it's online in the PDF form for those of you that are not anywhere in the area, for those of you that are, I'd highly recommend getting that holding our temple or holding our land booklet and doing the self-deliverance thing. Of course, the first one, spiritual warfare basics, get both of them because it'll help walk you through it. But some people have gotten the impression that deliverance, doing deliverance on a person, will free them up from any temptation. That's not true. Because we're not being tempted by the devil, we're being tempted by our own desires. The thing that deliverance will do is free us up from that driving force. I mean, people who are struggling with demonic stuff and it hasn't left, it's hanging on for whatever reason. As they get closer to the end of that cycle, you know, we go for a while and I'll never do it again in Jesus' name and oh, I'm so free. Well, maybe, well, I don't know. And as they get close to the end of that cycle where they usually go back and do it again, as they're going into that, they are driven. They can't get it off their mind. It's like their whole body is craving this. They are driven. That's demonic. Temptation does not drive us. It says, come here. You need to do this. Come here. But demons, it's like they get you by the back of the neck and they just drive you. And there's no peace. There's no rest. You can't sleep at night. You can't. You're fighting it. You're fighting it. You're fine. I'm not going to do this. I'm not going to do this. Yeah, that's probably demonic. And if you don't get rid of the demon, you'll probably do it. And it's probably a generational thing or it's a familiar spirit type of thing that you haven't addressed yet. Get rid of it and the driving will leave you. So I'm not trying to belittle the fact that sometimes people get free when they get deliverance. But again, don't reverse the order of things. The reason the demons are there is if it's a generational thing is because the generational curses of the sins of the fathers hasn't been broken yet. It's still a sin issue. That's what gives them the right. If you get rid of the demons and you don't get rid of the sin issue, they will be back because they still have right. So if you get rid of the sin issue, getting rid of the demons is easy. So let me add one other point in here that it's not in your booklet, but I probably should put it into the last book we put together. Getting rid of demons is the easy part. Renewing our mind of how they made us think is the harder part. Renewing the soul, renewing that part of us. Demons, we can get... Let's say that you were... Let's pick something drastic. You're a pedophile. And you've abused children and on and on and on. And you've come to the conclusion there's demonic stuff, so you repented of it and you get rid of the demons with someone's help or without it. It makes no difference. You get rid of them, okay? That's the easy part. The hard part is, depending upon how long you've been doing this, you've trained your mind to think a certain way. You've trained your body chemicals to respond a certain way. You've been trained to respond to little children, if that's your thing. You're all the nerve clusters, the branches of the brain have been designed to get excited, serotonin kicks out when you see little children. You say, I still got the problem. Yeah, you've been trained. Now you have to be retrained. Now some people are delivered. It's the same thing as Acts 2.4. It's like the Holy Spirit just blows through their mind at a deliverance and literally the retraining is gone. And it diffuses through their soul like it says in Acts 2. The Holy Spirit just diffuses and literally in seconds recreates their brain, recreates their body. And they're just free. I don't know percentages, but I also know people who've been delivered and they'll come back in two, three days and say, I want to do it as much as I did it before. My question is this. Is it luring you or is it driving you? Well, it's not driving me anymore, but the lure, the desire is still there. Yeah, you've been trained. It's like ringing a bell for a dog. All that has to happen is you get triggered with whatever you've been trained to be triggered by. So now, and you'll, you'll, you'll the flesh will want it, the mind, the hormones, the chemicals, everything's there. So now you have to renew the mind, renew the emotions. And you're going to have to do that through the spoken word. Not only scripture word, but the words God gives you to speak to your body. Like for instance, I don't want this anymore. And then your subconscious, your program will speak to you. Oh, but you do because I said I don't. Because remember the subconscious is just a database. You're going to have to reprogram it. I do not want to get triggered by any particular whatever it is that triggered you. In our case, we're talking children. I do not want to get triggered anymore. I refuse to get triggered anymore. I no longer want that. And you have to reprogram or renew the mind and the emotions. That's the hardest part. Getting rid of the demons is easy and it's quick. And you can get rid of them in 30 seconds. Renewing the mind can take weeks and months. So don't confuse that. And the big key to me that differentiates them is the driving factor. People who have demons literally feel out of control. They feel driven. It's like I can't stop. Whatever the issue is, I just can't stop. Temptation is alluring. That you can turn a walk away from. And it would be wise to do that. Don't just follow the alluring. Turn a walk away from it and you can do it. Doesn't mean you didn't want to follow in. You chose not to. That's temptation. That's being pulled away by your own evil desires. Demons will drive you. It's like you're out of control. You can't. It just grows and grows. And the closer you get to that end of that cycle, the stronger the driving is. And it's just toward the end, it's just like, I can't fight this anymore. This is... I'm just being driven. So I wanted to just point that out and I should make a note here since this is a work in process. There is a spot of talking about driven versus directed coming. But I wanted to... Demons will drive us. So let me just write that down so I can elaborate on that in the book. I want to actually get to putting it all together. So let's jump over to page 7. Again, most of this is review. We've talked about it. We've looked at it. Page 7, Romans 8. So now something sparked in a number of people, not only the ones attending the class physically, but those online. The night we talked about mind control, that really lit some things up with people because it explained some things. And the question is, is mind control in Scripture? Oh, it's all over. So I'm going to point it out as we go through this booklet from time to time. I'm going to point it out. For instance, page 7, C, Romans 8. So we're dealing with the power of sin. Now, where sin is present and active, you're going to have demons. Where you have food left over outside from a picnic, you're going to have flies. That's just the way it works. You have to clean up the food if you don't want the flies. If you leave the half sandwich there and everybody walks away, time you come back, it's going to be full of flies. If you don't want the demons, you have to get rid of the sin. But if you're playing with the sin, the demons will accompany that. You follow it? Same way as if we're in righteousness, angels accompany that. The Holy Spirit accompanies that. God's kingdom accompanies that. It's a mirror of the same thing. So now just with that thought in mind, just read this here. Number two, specifically... Well, number one, Paul tells us how to break this hold of sin on us. Specifically, do everything in our power to follow Jesus. Refuse it. Second line. Set our minds on the Spirit and not the sinful desire of the flesh. Choose to not submit to the flesh any longer. Verse five through eleven under number three, what you set your mind on is what controls you. Bingo, mind control. You say, well, he's talking sin. Well, I know he's talking sin, but where you have a person harboring sin, you're going to have demons. They work hand in hand. And if you want to get rid of the demons, you deal with the sin. That's why Paul didn't really even get into the demons much in Romans six, seven and eight, because it's a sin issue. And if you get rid of the sin, you get rid of the demons. Whether it is the sinful mind, sinful nature of the Spirit, therefore we have an obligation to deal with the sin. Bottom paragraph there. The war is won or lost in the mind. It's in your thoughts. That's why in Proverbs, we're told to guard our source of life and our thinking. Proverbs four, twenty-three. Guard your heart because it's the wellspring of life. And we're reminded that as we think, that's how we are. Proverbs twenty-three, seven. If you... Here's my understanding of how this works. If you choose to come out from underneath what God wants you doing and involved in and thinking about, and you move over and you start playing in areas you shouldn't be. It's a choice of your mind. You're going there, okay? You're making a willful choice because you're tempted to. And there's something in you that intrigues you and you want to go there. If you stay here, because the Holy Spirit is going to be convicting you. If you stay here and keep your mind set on this, you will now open the door to the spirit realm to come and help enhance that. That's the beginning of mind control. And it goes on a range from 1 to 10 and you'll see these in Scripture. We'll point them out as we go through. One is very mild. You know, you look at it and God probably shouldn't be looking at it. I shouldn't be involved in that. You walk away. And the next day it's like this pushing on you. You need to go back and look at that. That's really interesting. And it's stronger than a temptation. It's a nudge. What are they doing? They're already starting to control your thinking. And if you go back and feed that, what you feed grows. If you feed this side, it's going to grow. If you feed that side, it's going to grow. You go back and start feeding that. The push on you will get stronger. And if you keep going back and keep staying there, it will get to the point where eventually they start controlling your mind. And you feel like, well, I try to stay away, but I can't. Yeah, because you played with it. And yeah, you've got the power of sin and you opened your mind to it. You set your mind on it. But you did it enough that you picked up demons. And they're pushing their agenda now. And it's in your mind. So the war is won or lost in the mind. It's in our thoughts. Bottom of page seven. Jump over to page eight. The war deals with the strongholds of the mind. Weird to deal with arguments, pretensions. Every thought that needs to be made obedient to Christ. He goes on to give us a list of general headings of the kind of things we're supposed to be thinking about. Philippians four, four through nine. Again, guarding our hearts. James one. In fact, the Holy Spirit through James goes on to say that the devil doesn't even have much to do with our temptations. And we just read that to you. It's our own evil desires. So there's the end of that thought. Are any questions here? We can stop at each little section, I think, tonight and hit questions as we go. That's kind of review, but I brought up a couple of new things, but kind of review, it's just in written form. Any questions at this point we want to talk about? Okay, let's move on. Page nine, the two kingdoms. So we've talked about this. Here it's just... And part of this is also in that other booklet. God's character versus the devil's character. Comparing those two. So again, we're going back to what you set your mind on. Go over to page 10, number five. Whose kingdom do you offer yourself or submit yourself to? There's the key to either staying clean and free by submitting yourself to God's side or getting over here and playing and playing a little too long, and now you're in trouble. If you submit to and offer yourself to sin, even though it was rendered powerless, you have now given that power and dominion in your life. And we'll get to the scripture. It's in chapter six, as well as chapter eight. Whatever you submit yourself to, you become its slave. Remember that? Chapter eight. He talks about chapter six, too, but in chapter eight. And it's all what we set our mind on. Because what we set our mind on, we're submitting ourselves to. So if it's just like a one-time thing and it's like, God, forgive me, I shouldn't have done that. And you never go back, you're probably fine. But if you start setting your mind on it and submitting to it, now you're going to become its slave. Well, demons work hand in hand with that. They love to rule us. And it's mind control. Now, remember, mind is the soul, which is not just the brain. It's mind, will, emotions, reasoning, intellect. They will move you not just in your thinking. They'll move you in your desires, your emotions. Your flesh will desire something. Because you submitted to it and you start... It starts getting a power or a grip on you. Again, it's a range, but it starts getting a power and a grip on you where a cycle begins. And it's like, okay, I'm not going to do that. I'm good. I'm good. Yeah. Well, okay. I'm starting to really want to. And you get out to the end of that cycle. That could be a few days. That could be a few months. And you get to the end of that cycle. It's really strong compared to what you're used to. Even though it might only be a two or three in the range, you were used to freedom. Now you've got a little bit of struggle going on and it's pushing on you. Your desires, your emotions are craving it. Your mind is craving it. This is...in case you haven't caught it yet, this is the cycle of addictions that we're describing. And I agree with others who say, if you find addictions, you will find demons. I'm in 100% agreement with that. Because it's the cycle of slavery, especially for a Christian. We repent. We're over here. We commit it. Now we're feeling really bad. Hopefully we don't get so under condemnation we just quit. But we repent. We ask forgiveness. I'm so sorry, Lord. I'm not going to do it again. And we come back over here and we're so free. And we don't want it. And we're free of it. And thank God. And a month later it's like, yes, yes, I'm free. I'm free. And two months later it's like, where is this desire coming from? And you get out further and it's like, you say it can go that long. Oh, absolutely. You can go two, three months. And all of a sudden the pressure comes and you start being pushed down. You're going to do this. And the more times you cycle that, the more, we'll call it mind control, but it could be your emotions. It could be whatever. You're going to start serving it. The power is sin. But with that sin you will find demons. So it's mind control. It's forcing us against our will. And we can hold on and we can white-knuckle for a while. And then all of a sudden, boom, we fell. And God's grace is sufficient. He knows we're fighting. That's Romans 7. He knows we're fighting. He knows we're trying to resist this. He knows we're working with this. But when you start seeing a cycle, you have slavery to sin. You will have demons involved with that. And it's a realm of mind control. They are controlling your thinking, or you would say no and knock it off. You say, well, I still can think for myself. And well, yeah, but they have enough hold on you. They're getting you to do things that you don't want to do. What is that? That's mind control. They're controlling you. You're slowly becoming their slave. And that's what he talked about there, and we've gone over it, but we're applying it a few different ways now. Addictions, that whole realm falls in underneath this. So how are you going to deal with this? Go to letter B down there in page 10. What does our speech have to do with the devil working in our lives? Well, out of the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks. We are instructed that it's with the mouth we choose life or death, blessings or cursings coming out of Deuteronomy 30. Our mouth, our confession is the activator for what's going on inside of us, and it will either activate faith, Romans 10-8, the word of faith is nigh you, even in your mouth. Or sin, Matthew 15, 16 through 20, where Jesus is talking out of the heart, proceed these things. That's how we yield or offer ourselves to either side. Romans 6, chapter in Romans 8. The true place to catch it is not once it comes out of the mouth, but when it's rolling around in our thoughts and our desires, going back to that scripture in James, we're enticed, we're drawn away, catch it right there before it starts getting control of you. Number two, what we set our minds on, whether it's God's realm or the devil realm, is what's going to come out of our mouth and be activated because it's in your heart. You resist, you resist, you resist, and finally you say, well, just one more time. You just activated. Well, maybe it's not that bad. See, whatever our heart concludes will come out of our mouth. We really, if we want freedom, we really have to guard so we don't keep agreeing in our faith with our slave-driving masters, because they want that, they'll keep pushing you towards that. Once, and I say it again, once you see a cycle and you've seen this thing happen two times or a hundred times, do self-deliverance and renew the mind. And if you just don't feel like you can beat it, get someone to pray with you and cast the thing out. But get the spirits off of you and renew the mind. So page 11, the top. They have legal right because of the kingdom we have chosen to offer ourselves to. We gave them the power when they had none, but we offered ourselves. So we've got to remember that. Any questions to that point? Okay. Molly, can you help me again if you would please? So is this why they say an addict is always recovering and never recovered? Because it's in their mind if once they sin, okay. They say that once an addict, always an addict. Right. Now we can be set free and it's kind of a two-step process. Well, three actually. You have to repent of the sin, kick the demons out and then renew the mind. You have to have all three to get free. If you miss any of those, yeah, you're going to be recovering the rest of your life because what happens is the cycle just keeps repeating. And you end up crashing and burning over here. So now you're coming back to recover from that again. And it goes and goes and goes and you crash and burn and then you're coming back. It'll be the rest of your life. But now Jesus died to set us free. He whom the sun sets free is free. So don't buy into the I'm an alcoholic forever. I'm an addict forever. No, no, no, no. See there again. You got to watch what you put in your heart because what's in your heart comes out your mouth. And if you believe that, you will be that for the rest of your life. You'll be a recovering addict the rest of your life. But yes, that exactly. So when we're dealing with somebody like that, we need to get them delivered so that they can be set free. And if we don't do that step, then they're going to be in trouble the rest of their life. Yes. So the first thing we want to do is get them to see the need to repent. And a lot, you know, there's a lot of Christians who know that need and they do that. They repent. Then they need to either do self-deliverance or get delivered and get the slave drivers off their back. And then number three here is a big, big point. They need disciples. They need someone to walk alongside with them and disciple them so their mind gets renewed. And literally that's... most people who struggle with addictions go to some form of meeting or recovery meeting most every day of the week. Because it's what keeps them focused enough they don't go back and cycle. And that's okay. I'm not against that. That's okay. As long as in the end, we're free. You know, it might take two, three years but it takes time to renew the mind, you know, especially depending upon how badly it's been damaged. But we've got to be heading for freedom, not continual recovery. Sad part is most recovery programs teach continual recovery. You know, even AA. I'm an alcoholic. And it's like, well, keep saying it. You're going to keep struggling with it. I haven't drunk in two years. Yeah, but boy, you want to, don't you? Well, I do. Yeah, because you keep saying I'm an alcoholic. You need to find out that in Christ you can actually be free and if you need to start calling it by faith, which you will. I am so-and-so. I am free of alcoholism in Jesus' name. I'm calling it and the desire will leave me. And if you believe that in your heart and say it with your mouth, you shall be saved. You'll be saved from it. You'll get free. So it goes a little further than most recovery programs go. But the reason they don't go there is because they don't have the power. They're state-sanctioned and they can't talk about Jesus. And the power for freedom is in Jesus. It's not an adornment of something. You know, step number four, a higher power. Well, if the higher powers Jesus were good, I had helped teach. They would bring me in for step number four in a recovery program for a few years because I would teach that according to who's the higher power. But the way they teach it, it can be a doorknob, it can be a light bulb, it can be the sun, it can be anything that you consider is a higher power. Put your faith in it and it will help you. No, it won't. You have to have the power of the Son of God, Jesus Christ, to set you free. And if you miss that minor detail, you don't go there. But see, the problem is, if it's a state-sanctioned program, you can't do that. You can't work with the actual thing that will set the people free. That's why Teen Challenge has been so successful is because they go there. You're coming in here unsaved and all bound up by the time you're gone, we're going to get you saved and we're going to get you delivered and demons cast out and we're going to do the whole thing. And they have had like a 90-some percent success rate. Just outstanding compared to everything else. But now the state's breathing down their throat because they receive Rule 25 money and state money. So now the state's trying to force them out of... See, it just shows you how dumb people can be. The program works. It's not broken. Leave it alone. Well, we've got separation of church and state and we can't be talking about Jesus in this program that state-funded. You're idiots. It works. Let them do what they're doing and you can spend all kinds of millions of dollars over here in programs that don't work. That's what you feel you got to do. But leave this one alone, but now the pressure's on. And Mary goes and speaks at two-teen challenges, the one in Minneapolis and the one up in Brainerd. And they're saying they're pushing on us. They're pushing on us. Get the gospel out. Get this laying on of hands and prayer out. Get rid of this stuff. This can't be mixed in with a government-sanctioned program. And it's like if they get it out, their success rate is going to go where everybody else is in the tank because that is the true source of a human's freedom. You repent of your sins. You cast out, get rid of the spirits. And that's James 4-7. Submit yourself to God, resist the devil. He will flee. And then now to stay free, you got to renew the mind. You got to be discipled. You have to have somebody come alongside and help you retrain yourself and grow. And that's what Teen Challenge does. You know, in six months or a year, it's amazing the changes that people going in and coming out. But it's all part of it. We need you to use the mic so that people online can hear you. So go ahead and grab the mic and then talk to us. I just think the government just want control. They have pride and they want to control the people and kind of think that they have power instead of the LA. That's a big part of it. I also know that a lot of people in government are in masonry and demonic worship and everything else. And they just playing our enemies of the cross of Jesus. And they just want it shut down. But that's part of it. The control thing. Okay, let's go over here. I had a friend in Wisconsin that was alcoholic when he finally got where he could do it. He used to get a yearly little... whatever. Yep, a little coin. He started rubbing that. And he said, when I start to think about it here, I start rubbing that. I start rubbing that coin. By the time he get the next one next year, that was worn smooth. And then one... He's white knuckling. Yep, and he finally got to walking with the Lord. And then got set free. Didn't have to rub the coin smooth anymore. But he had a whole stack of them that were pretty much worn smooth. Yeah. And I commend him. I commend him. That's willpower. At least you're doing willpower. Yeah, that's willpower. He's white knuckling it and he's winning. But he's not free. No, he's not free. You know, years ago, one of my best friends moved from Arizona to work at the women's section of Hazeldon. She was basically in charge of that part. She was a believer and also a psychologist. Mary Ann Medlin was her name and she would work with the women and then at night they would come to her facility or to her room or wherever. And then she would witness to them and pray for them and they would be set free. And every one of the women that she worked with was set free. Well, then of course Hazeldon and they're a wonderful place. I'm not knocking them. But they said to her, you're going to have to stop. You're going to get us in trouble. We prayed about it. She was torn. But she couldn't compromise. So she did have to quit. She left and moved on and God used her. But it was just, it grieved her soul because they were set free so quickly. And she knew what was setting them free. So it's not like, oh, I'll do it your way. Your way won't work. So it's hard. We got one more question in the back. I have this question as much as a statement on the that with the thinking, the thinking you can get stuck in the thinking without it being outward sin but lining up your thoughts with the enemy's thoughts about yourself and being stuck in that same cycle without it being something outward. There's going to be a scripture coming that says exactly that. Surprise, surprise. That's good.
