You're a nice presence of the Holy Spirit in here. So good evening everybody.
Good evening to you who are joining us by livestream. It's always nice to have
you with us. Let's see. Next week there's class, and then the following week is off
because Mary and I'll be out of town, and then we come back for one more class and
we're done. So we're coming down to the end, and I still have quite a bit to
cover, so some might just be skipped through. But that's alright. I didn't, I
didn't realize that there was that much to talk about. You know, it's like, oh
wow. Could deal with more yet. But anyway, I'm going to screen mirror something here.
We had one of the viewers who's watching by livestream. They've never been to a
class. They're watching by livestream. Shoot something into us and say, did you
realize this is going on with that liquid death thing? That can? Sparkling
water? Whatever? I said no. So I went through the website and sure's enough. So
I want to, I want to show you this because sometimes we get numb to the
fact of how actively the other spirit realm is after our children, is after
different people. Because we're kind of insulated as, you know, we have Christian
friends, we go to church, etc. So we're not really exposed. A lot of times we
live a bit sheltered. And we don't really understand what's going on. So I want
you to be able to see this, because this was actually kind of shocking to
me. It's like really, we're taking it to this point. So I should be connected at
this point. At least that's what it says on my phone. So we'll wait and see if
the computer agrees. If you want me to redo it, let me know. Want me to talk
about something else while you get it figured out? Okay, once you get it

a little more covered, because we've got a lot of stuff to talk about yet if we
want to hit some more topics that are necessary. Page 21, we got down to number
two, Roman numeral two there, and we were... it's under the heading of two
ways the spirit realm affects or tries to influence us.
And the answer to that is found a little earlier, from the outside of the body
and from the inside of the body. So just two different ways they do it. You can be affected
whether you have demonic stuff inside or if it's just outside, it makes no
difference. So now we're to number two on page 21. How are we affected differently
by whether a spirit is on the outside or the inside? Well, the main thing is when spirits
are on the outside of us, they cannot gain bodily control. So that's... that may not seem
like a big deal, but if you've had problems with demons, that's a big deal.
Okay, we should be ready, you think?

So let me stop and I'll come back to you. Kind of there. I'll let you keep working on it.

So like under A there, they can't gain bodily control if they're outside. They only have the
ability to affect us primarily through our thoughts or our emotions. I should add emotions
there too because they have a way of touching our emotions even though they're on the outside.
But they'll speak to us. They'll try to affect us.
Let me write that down so I get it right in the book.
And you'll hear them speaking to you in your thoughts.
And we're going to go a little deeper into that tonight so you understand that.
But the brain is designed to receive through the five senses, but yet you can hear when a
spirit is speaking to you even though it's not using the five senses. And I think it's
because our spirit is hearing them. And of course our flesh gravitates towards the evil
side anyway. So that's how it works. So letter B, if we know that it is an evil spirit talking
to us or trying to affect us, just get rid of them. In the first booklet we did,
Spiritual Warfare Basics, don't let them hang around and aggravate you or torment you
or just chase them out. Get rid of them. Page 22, if we don't know whether it is demons or not,
you can test them. Jesus tested Satan by using the word Matthew 4.
James 3 describes what wisdom will be like when it comes from demons.
And it would be great to bring that up on the screen.
Try it now. Because I'd like to have that scripture up on the screen too.
But our computer is arguing, oh, you kicked me off. So now maybe it'll work.
So that shows there was definitely connection once you kicked me off.
All right, look at that. Give the man a hand, but I got something in my hand.
So all right, so this does not have any sound to it, but this is when you go to their website,
this first thing that comes up, that guy must be the originator or something of it. Don't be scared,
it's just water. And then don't be scared, it's just iced tea. And that goes around over and over
and over. Okay, so they're trying to sell you on it. If you scroll down, you've got
beverages and merchandise and murder your thirst and death to plastic. They're trying to give you
to plastic. And you can sell, you can be a dealer. And you can also sell your soul.
Right there it says on the right side. So we're going to click on that.
And here's what comes up. Now, it's hard to read that. And you can't get a copy of that
unless you sign up to sell your soul. And I wasn't interested.
But I was able at home to expand it enough that I could read it. Yeah, we can do that. Now this is
scary. Bill of sale for one eternal human soul. The bill of sale for one eternal human soul dated
is executed and delivered by whoever the seller is to liquid death. So you're selling your soul
to liquid death, a Delaware corporation who is the purchaser. Whereas pursuant to the agreement,
the seller has agreed to sell, transfer, convey, assign and deliver to the purchaser the human
and undying soul of, and that's where you write your name in, the eternal soul for all of eternity.
Now therefore, in consideration of free membership into Liquid Death Country Club
and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby
acknowledged, the seller, that be the person selling their soul, hereby agrees as follows.
The seller hereby sells, transfers, conveys, assigns and delivers to the purchaser its
successor and assigns to have to hold forever all right title and interest in to and under
the eternal soul. The seller hereby covenants and agrees. See, so these people aren't stupid
who are putting this together. This isn't, it's being presented like a game. He's getting involved
in this fun little game. Once you're using the word covenant in Western culture, you know
exactly what you're doing, because we don't use that word here. The seller hereby covenants
and agrees that it will, at the request of the purchaser and without further consideration,
execute and deliver such other instruments of sale, transfer, conveyance, and assignment,
and take such actions as purchaser may reasonably request. So now it's not just your soul, they
can request anything. Next paragraph, the seller hereby irrevocably constitutes and appoints
the purchaser, its successors and assigns, so they can assign it to whoever, as the seller's
true and lawful attorney with, so now you're giving them power of attorney over you,
with full power of substitution in its name or otherwise. And on behalf of the seller,
or for its own use to claim, demand, collect, and receive at any time and from time to time,
the eternal soul, and to prosecute the same at law, if you refuse, so this is actually,
they're writing it like a legal binding document, upon discharge thereof to complete,
execute, and deliver any and all necessary instruments of satisfaction and release. So
it's basically you're given a mere whole life, including your soul. The seller by its execution
of this date of sale and the purchase and an acceptance of this bill of sale, each hereby
acknowledges and agrees that this document shall be legally binding and commit the eternal soul
to purchaser to the ends of the earth and for the rest of time, including without limitation,
any applicable afterlife, reincarnation or similar post-mortal existence.
Now, it's like, okay. Now that's, that's getting a little bit overboard, okay? And since we know
behind the scenes, this is a demonically based thing, and they're putting curses on all the
cans to fill them with demons. So when you drink it, remember, we watched that part, okay?
So with that in mind, this is going to shock you. So the guy who is at the beginning,
who apparently is heading this up or their spokesperson or whatever, this is his deal.
Yep. Okay, so let me get back to where we were. So here is the benefits of selling your soul.
If you sell your soul, here's what you get. One free country club, exclusive tea,

and all other kinds of cool stuff you can't talk about yet. So they're encouraging everybody to
sign this in blood. And they use the word covenant. So in reality, and it goes on,
225,000 plus people have already become part of this. So in reality, you're making a blood covenant
with liquid death incorporated who, if I was going to guess, is probably a coven or a run-by-one.
And they have their agreement with the kingdom of darkness in that everybody who becomes part
of this just sells their soul to the devil. That is in society right now. That is just crazy.
And it's all being marketed as a drink.
Yeah, just crazy. Could you go to James 3, 13 to 16? So again, I say pay attention.
Not everything looks like it does on the surface. Oh, isn't that cute? Liquid death can.
No idea what's behind it. Well, now we know what's behind it and what they're ultimately after.
James chapter 3, back to page 22, number two at the top. So if we don't know whether
it's demonic or not, we're to test them. Can you do it in the amplified? It makes it plainer.
That's good too. We might come back to that. But who is there among you who is wise and intelligent?
Then let him by his noble living show forth his good works with the unobtrusive humility,
which is the proper attribute of true wisdom. But if you have, okay, here is how you know
the demonic is talking to you. If you're being persuaded or being affected by
jealousy, envy, contention, which is selfish ambition, rivalry. If you've got this going on
inside of you, do not pride yourselves on this and thus be in defiance of and false to the truth.
So those are the kind of things that you know the demonic's going on. You say,
how do you know? Right here it says, because this superficial wisdom is not such as comes from
above, but is earthly, unspiritual, it's animalistic. It is even devilish or demonical.
So if you want to flip back up to that previous verse, jealousy, which is envy, contention,
which is rivalry or competition, selfish ambition, if these two things are going on inside of you,
it's demonic. So to answer that top question, how do we know if demons are
trying to affect us, speak to us or not, whether from the outside or inside?
Well, number one, use the word on them and see what they say to you. See what the thoughts,
the thoughts will go through your head. And when you challenge it, my experience is this,
when you challenge it, they'll speak with you a little more in your thoughts,
but if you challenge them the right way, then they start cussing at you.
That's just almost a hundred percent of the time. And you'll have all these cuss words
go through your mind. You blankety blank blank blank and it's like, well, yeah,
kind of laid your cards out now, didn't you? So then you go and proceed to deal with them.
You say, well, if they're in the outside, get rid of them.
You don't need demons hanging around trying to influence you 24 seven, get rid of them.
Now this one has been used first, John four, one through three, here we're told to test the
spirits and find which ones are anti Christ. And what's really saying, what it's literally
saying is anti Christ is anti anointing. All of the devil's kingdom is against the anointing
or anti anointing, anti Christ. So can you bring that scripture up? Because it's it,
people will quote this one all the time. Beloved, do not put your faith in every spirit,
but first test the spirits to discover whether they proceed from God for many false
prophets have gone forth into the world. So stop right there. If you go back previously,
he's dealing with the spirit of anti Christ. And he's talking about
the spirit of anti Christ working through people specifically profits. That's why he says that.
You're going to have to test the spirits of the profits
because many false prophets have gone out into the world. Next verse.
By this you may know, perceive and recognize the spirit of God. Every spirit which acknowledges
and confesses the fact that Jesus Christ, the Messiah actually has become man and has come
in the flesh is of God, has God for its source. So hold it right there. So apparently
anybody who is under the anti Messiah or anti Christ anointing
will not go along with Jesus came in the flesh. He's the Messiah.
They won't go along with that. Now I've never run into any.
So I don't know. But in their day they had them apparently and I'm sure we'll see some.
It's probably pretty sure of that. Okay, next verse.
And every spirit which does not acknowledge and confess that Jesus has come in the flesh.
Now he's talking anti Christ spirit here. But would an all destroy, sever and disunite him,
you know, Jesus in the flesh is not of God, does not come from God. This non-confession
of the spirit of the anti Christ of which you heard that it was coming and now it is
already in the world. So let me say this and then we'll go back and make the application.
As we get deeper into the end times and the anti Christ spirit gets stronger,
we are going to find people denying the fact that Jesus came in the flesh,
died, rose from the dead, etc. Whether they're prophets or not, that is the telltale sign
there of the anti Christ. They're of that spirit. They're not of God's spirit.
They're of that spirit. Because if you're of God's spirit, you will say yes, Jesus came,
he came in the flesh, he died, he rose from the dead. The basic heart of salvation, they will confess
that. Anti Christ are against God's spirit won't. So what's going to happen is, as time goes on,
in an effort to push Christianity specifically out of the scene, there's going to be a lot of
people, a wave of movement, maybe worldwide I would think, to try to squelch Christianity and one of
the things they'll hit is Jesus isn't God. So it'll come in under this. As we get closer to
anti Christ, the spirit of anti Christ will rise up. So now I grew up in a full gospel church
that believed in casting out demons, believed pretty much in everything I still believe in.
They just never did it. I mean, it never happened. So it's like someone telling you how to overhaul
your car and they've never lifted the hood on a car. But they can tell you how to overhaul your
engine. It's like, technically, yeah, pull out a book and you can do it. But experientially,
you might run into some trouble. Okay. So I was taught all the way through college
that the way to know if a demon is a demon or not is that scripture.
Test the spirits. Well, take it in context. Now, are demons anti Messiah? Yes. Are they
anti the anointing? Yes. But that test doesn't work on demons. I learned that the hard way.
So now I'm going to share that story with you. So there was a spirit that was manifesting through a
person and you know, demons would pop in and out this that and the other. All of a sudden,
this spirit showed up talking through the person who claimed to be an angel.
God sent me here because he can see you're struggling. He can see you're having problems
in the same way. Demonic spirits can get it, can speak through a person. Angelic spirits can do the
same. So I am here to help you. Never heard of that one before. Okay. Well, let's talk about this.
First thing I need to know is if you're trying to deceive me or not. Because chance are good,
you are. So where did I reach for? First, John 4. Because that's what I was taught.
And I said, did Jesus come to earth? Absolutely. Did Jesus come in the flesh?
Absolutely. And he came to die for your sins. That's what it said. Do you believe Jesus
came to earth and died for my sins? Yes, I do. Because the scripture says even the demons
believed that and trembled. I mean, it was just, it was really good. And I'm going,
it just didn't feel right. The answers were all correct. It just didn't feel right.
So I thought, well, what am I going to do? So I started talking about various things,
like that first encounter I had. Once I started talking about the blood of Jesus,
it started getting irritated. So I started talking about the blood of Jesus.
You know, so what do you think of the blood of Jesus? And it gave me all the right answers.
The blood of Jesus is what forgives people of their sins. And just line by line.
And I thought, what do I do with this? So I got on the phone, called up my mentor.
I said, I got a problem. Have you ever heard of this? No, no, no, no. We started talking about it.
And he said, is that person there now? Yep. He said, is that supposed angel there now? Yep.
So let me talk with him. So he put the phone over there. He wants to talk to you.
So I, I'm getting in close. I want to hear what... I got to learn something here.
So he's talking to him, going through basically the same questions I went through,
didn't do the first John 4. Because then later he told me, he said, yeah, that one doesn't work
on demons. I said, why? He said, because it's not talking about demons. It's talking about
the human spirit that has become anti God, anti Christ specifically. And you've got to test
humans. Because humans can deceive you. So you've got to test humans to make sure they are truly
servants of God. And that's one of the tests that works on humans. He said, it doesn't work on
demons. I said, apparently not, because I tried it and either this is an angel or that doesn't
work. He said, well, he said, I'm not buying it. He said, so he went through all kinds of tests.
Couldn't come up with anything. He said, well, let's do this. Let's pray about it.
Send the person home. Get rid of this. And send the person home. Let's pray about it until the next
time. And then let's see what we come up with. So I did that. And, you know, very calm,
very peaceful. Yeah, I'll be glad to, you know, and, and I'm just here to serve you and
not out or down. Just very willingly backed out. And the person came back and
okay, said, well, we're done for the day. How you feeling? And you know, you kind of work through
that and send him home. So he was praying and I was praying about it. Of course, he's years and
years ahead of me. I wasn't getting nothing. And he called me the next morning. He said,
when you see that person again and that spirit comes back, here's what the Lord told me to
the Lord told me you should need to do. He said, I'm not buying this. I got a feeling
this is not an angel. This is a demon. He said, they know the facts. And he says, that's what
it's repeating back to us is the facts. He said, if it is an angel, it will worship with you.
Ask it to worship the Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, the real Christ, the one who came.
Said, well, good as anything. So I don't remember was that day or the next day,
the person was having problems. They showed back up and this that and the other.
So I said, I want to talk to that one that says it's an angel.
Start talking through the person. So I just acted like I had accepted we're on the same team.
And I said, you know, it's so awesome. The Father did this for me. I'm so thankful.
And led it into, you know, before we go any further, let's just worship Him together.
Because see, the Bible says that His angels and all creation, in fact, there are certain
ones that's that's all they do is worship. So it would be great if we just worship together.
They just looked at me and I thought, oh, oh, we might be finding pay dirt here.
So I started worshiping, you know, just verbally. Didn't need music or anything. God,
I worship you. I worship Jesus as my savior. Thank you for your goodness and mercy and the blood
and then total quiet. And I stopped and I said, come on, worship with me.
You, and there went a blue streak. You blankety blank blank blank blank.
I said, you're not an angel, are you?
Well, I used to be your God threw me out. Don't tell me he's love.
Oh, what did you do to get thrown out? You blankety blank.
So I came to the conclusion. I put it in here because I wanted to talk about it and you can
test the spirit of Antichrist and demons are Antichrist. But if you specifically just go back
and read it, that whole book of 1st John is not talking about demon spirits.
It's not in there. You can't find it. It's not what he's talking about.
But it uses the word spirit and people are ignorant to what that means. God is a spirit.
Jesus is a spirit in a human body. Now the Holy Spirit is obviously a spirit.
If you go through scripture and look up everything that's spirit, angels are spirit,
cherubim are spirit, Satan is spirit, fallen angels are spirits, demons are spirits.
You and I are spirits in human bodies.
But people are ignorant to the understanding of what spirit means.
So when they read spirit, they think it's got to be demons. It's no, it's not.
And I'm just trying to, in case anybody online or anybody listens to this later,
in case you ever get caught in that, demons don't respond to that scripture because
that scripture is not about demons. That scripture is about people who are
speaking out specifically prophets who are Antichrist. But the concept is true.
You say, how do you know that? Because he wouldn't worship with me.
He's Antichrist. He's not for Christ. He's Antichrist. And that showed up when it came time to worship.
So to do the testing, letter A, talk the scriptures to them. Talk to them about the
blood of Jesus. All kinds of things, the blood and the anointing of Jesus do for us.
Have them praise and worship. You say, well, why would you bring these things up?
I mean, what? Are we going to go around talking to demons? Sometimes we're talking to them. We
don't know we are. Especially in prayer lines. Had one just a couple of weeks ago.
And I said, I said to the person, I said, are you here? And they said,
I think so. Everything's really foggy. And then they kind of just dazed off.
You know, standing there, but kind of just like, yeah, you just disappeared. And I thought,
yeah, there's spirit in charge now. And I said, pray with me. Yeah, I just got big.
Let's pray. Let's worship. And it started going.
It's like, yeah, that's exactly what I thought. You replace the person and now you've got the
brain and you're conscious. These things work to find out what you're dealing with.
And these things also work to find out who's speaking to you in your thoughts.
The same tests work. You've got these thoughts coming in. You know, you should really,
sounds good, sounds scriptural. You should really go to your neighbor and witness to them.
Because they really need to hear the gospel. That's got to be the spirit. Well, are you sure?
Do you know his voice well enough? So interact with it. If it's the Holy Spirit, he'll be glad to
talk to you. He'll be glad to confirm himself. Don't just go, oh, I heard God and go to... No,
interact with him. He's your counselor. We talk to counselors. They talk to us.
So you can do it verbally or you can do it in your thoughts. Works either way.
Talk back to him. Why should I go to my neighbor and get him going?
And then start throwing... So what should I talk about? The blood of Jesus?
What scriptures should I use? Go a little deeper.
Are you the Holy Spirit? I'll flat out ask him. Are you the Holy Spirit?
Are you some demon talking to me? Because sometimes they can sound really convincing.
And I'll engage with them. And you only go a short period of time using some of this stuff.
And for me, it's almost 100% time. Then cussing goes off in my head.
You damn blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. It's like, well, that's what I thought.
You know? And then you deal with them. But if it comes right down to pay dirt,
the Holy Spirit will worship the Father with you. He is the one who leads us into worship.
And we worship in spirit and truth. He will worship the Father with you. Because everything
goes back to the Father. Ask him to worship with you. And I want to hear you worshiping
with me. Since I'm hearing you anyway, I want to hear you worship.
In all these things, you're looking for their response. Let her see. Does it stop? It says,
do it. Stop speaking. It's supposed to be does. Does it stop speaking?
Will it converse openly and freely with you about the things of God? Will it get angry? Will
it try to change the subject? Will it start cussing at you? All these things indicate what
kind of spirit you're talking to. Test the spirit. You say, I don't know God's voice.
You can test it. The Holy Spirit doesn't mind being tested because he's the real thing.
He has no problem with it. Letter D. If they're on the outside of us, they have a certain amount
of bodily access and that's why they're able to speak through the person, look out their eyes,
act out their body, etc. I mean, if they're on the inside of us, my mistake, I said outside,
inside, they have a certain amount of bodily access. One of the reasons I don't like to
call the demon up and have them speak to me through the person is because I've now given
them legal access to the brain in a fuller dimension. You can see them in the person's eyes
because the eyes are the gate to the body and they're living in the body. And somehow you can
see them and they still don't have access to the brain, but you can see them by looking in
the eyes. They'll look out at you. But don't necessarily give them access to the brain
if they don't have it. If they're not talking to you, don't give it to them.
See, like the one couple of weeks ago, when it started grunting,
all I would have had to do was engage with it. Ask it a question. Who are you? Give me your name.
Well, now I just gave it access to the brain and it may not have had much.
But now I gave it permission. Don't do that if you don't have to because it's usually worse
for the person. So as a rule of thumb and a deliberate situation, I try to prevent the
demon from interfacing with the person's brain. It helps the person to stand against the demon.
So now the whole thing that they're after and I'm going to give this in a little separate section
explanation of this. We talked about it before. I showed you examples last week and I'm going
to show you more. The whole thing that demonic spirit realm is after is mind control.
Of course, they want to control the body, but if they get your mind, they've got your body.
So that's the whole thing they're after. It's what they're looking for.
It's the exact thing the Holy Spirit is looking for.
And we said that right at the end last week. The Holy Spirit wants control of our minds.
And yes, like we said, why are you going to go to it? I've had people say this.
I'm not going to know church and getting brainwashed. Well, that's the problem.
You need your brainwashed. It's filthy dirty and you need the water of the word
to wash it. That's exactly what the Holy Spirit wants to do. Wash our brain. Wash the garbage out
and put good stuff in. He wants control of our brain. The difference between the Holy Spirit
and an evil spirit is the Holy Spirit we have to submit ourselves to.
An evil spirit, you start by submitting, but then they take control
and they force themselves on you and you're driven rather than being directed.
So mind control from the outside, I think the most they can really do there is touch our
thoughts, our emotions, maybe try to help us, have some temptation. I don't think they have any
control. Once they've gotten inside, now there's a driving factor that takes place and they get
access to the brain and so forth. So page 23, their goal is to affect us in our body, soul,
and spirit. So this lays out pretty self-explanatory. I'm not going to go through each one,
but I give examples of how they will try to go after the body, how they'll try to go after
the soul or the brain, the mind will emotions, and how they will go after the spirit eventually
trying to get us to turn away from God. Let us see about halfway through, the more access they
gain, the more tormented the person will be in spirit. The torment can be physical interference,
sickness, disease, handicaps. The torment can be in the thought life or emotions. They
have fear, no peace, immoral thoughts and desires, hate, desire to murder, fits of rage,
violent temper, etc. So here are some scriptural examples. We'll just look at these real briefly.
Then they brought him a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute. Jesus healed him so that
he could both talk and see. What do we have? What kind of access did that spirit gain?
Definitely had bodily. Vision, blind and mute, couldn't speak.
Chances are they had the vocal center of the brain. Now, this is something I learned. I don't
have really any scriptural proof for it other than I just ran into it over and over.
The spirit realm on the demonic side is brutal.
I mean, they are just brutal. You've got to remember the only thing they have in the
kingdom of darkness is the fruit of their kingdom. So all they have is hate, anger,
competition, rebellion, murder. That whole realm, that's all that kingdom operates on.
Can you imagine trying to organize that and get it to do something when
everybody hates everybody? They're out to cut out everybody's throat. They'll step on anything
and everything to gain access to this, that, and the other. Now, many people have had visions.
Scripture talks about it. For whatever reason, they don't use shotguns. They don't use
AKs. They don't use rifles, handguns in the spirit realm.
You know what they use. You've read it. What do they use?
Swords, shields, and arrows. That's all they got. They don't have bombs they throw in.
It's just not allowed. That's all I know. They don't have it.
So when they fight, not only do they fight with angels, but they fight with each other.
And they are immortal beings. A spirit is immortal. Can't die.
So they can maim each other to try to force compliance or just out of anger.
Rage. Maim each other spiritually and somehow it sticks with them because there's no healing.
There's no life. There's no... So if they get their arm cut off, it's off.
And it takes the power of God to put it back on right. But they try. And the way I bumped into this
is because I was dealing with a kingdom I couldn't get rid of. It wouldn't go.
No matter what I tried, it wouldn't go. And whenever that has happened,
it may happen again a time or two, where we hit something that I just can't get rid of it.
That means God's trying to teach me something. Because if you take authority over and bind them
together as the Holy Spirit sees nos and numbers and cut everything off, they have to go.
When they don't, it's not them. It's God saying, I need to teach you something here.
So I had this one situation where there was a kingdom in this person just mocking me and just
we will never let go. And we, you know, and I couldn't get them to go.
I said, Holy Spirit, you got to show me what's going on here.
And he gave me a little vision. And I saw the creepiest thing.
I saw maimed demons who were literally walking around, eyes missing, arms missing,
that kind of thing. But the creepiest part was
they had legs or arms that had been removed, things like that.
And you could tell a different kind of bigger, smaller, different kind of leg was on there.
And it wasn't working really well. So they drug it, but it was like a peg.
There was one that was cut in half and it had like an animal body on the bottom
and on the top half was more what you'd consider, you know, demon is kind of creepy and
ugly and but it was connected. And I said, what does this have to do with anything?
And this is the information I got. He said, what you are seeing is infirmity, a kingdom of infirmity.
That's why it won't respond to you because it's a kingdom of its own.
And he also said, when they get access to a body, like for instance, the woman who
could not stand up straight, that Jesus touched and healed and she cast the spirit out and she
stood up straight. And he addressed it as a spirit of infirmity. Remember that? We could look it up,
but you can do that at home too. He addressed it as a spirit of infirmity, cast it out and then
she was able to stand up straight. She was hunched over and walked like this.
Well, I had seen some of that in that vision. He said, when a spirit like that gets in the
person and gets control, whatever the spirit is fighting with or has been mutilated, you know,
that realm, the body will conform to it because the human body is designed to conform to our spirit.
Our spirit is not designed to conform to the human body.
Everything of the issues of life flow out of our spirit and everything else supposed to
conform to it. So when you get a deaf and mute spirit or person who it's demonic,
you deaf and mute person, the problem is demonic. Like he said here,
the spirit itself is likely deaf and mute or blind and mute or whatever the issue is.
And because they have access and are running the body, the body has adapted to that spirit.
Lost its sight, lost its ability to speak, like this one, blind and mute.
When you cast the spirit out, that doesn't necessarily mean the body's going to
instantly come back online. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.
This is important when we get talking, won't happen tonight, but when we get talking
about demons and mental illness, what do we do with that?
Here, notice how he says it. They brought him a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute
and Jesus healed him. He didn't just cast it out. He healed him
so that he could both talk and see. So this man's body had adapted to that broken spirit
and took on those characteristics. So here you've got definitely physical.
Go to page 24. Here the demon was attacking the physical body, gained some physical access,
so mark chapter 5. They went across the lake and here you've got the legion story.
And a man lived in the tombs. Verse 4, he'd often been chained hand and foot. He tore
the chains apart and broke the iron's office feet, so they definitely had physical access.
No one was strong enough to subdue him. Verse 5, night and day in the tombs and in the hills,
he would cry out and cut himself with stones, so they had brain access because they were running
his body. When he saw Jesus from a distance, he went to him, fell down and talked to him,
recognized who Jesus was, etc. So here you have, obviously the physical body's been accessed
because I run the letter A there, it gives all the characteristics.
So we have physical body access, but we also have soul and brain realm access
because he's working through the body. So now put this into today's vernacular.
This man, once Jesus dealt with him, he was sitting there and it specifically
said he was in his right mind. That's because the demon had mind control.
And was controlling his mind and through the mind controlling his body.
So let's just make a blanket statement here that I think is true in every case.
Once a demon can speak through someone, reason with you, move their arms and hands,
whatever, they have mind control over the person. It's not just a fluke that,
oh, they're speaking out of the person. No, that person is under mind control of
that demon. They are under heavy influence of that demon. That's why it has the ability to speak
to you through the person. They're under mind control. Now that demon may never come up in
the person's life as far as they know, but because it has so much access, it will move
them through life and give them desires and cause them to say things and do things.
And they think it's all them. It's actually not. It's a spirit.
Again, you've got an example there. You have the kid Mark chapter 9. The kid is
when it seizes him, it throws him to the ground. He foams at the mouth,
gnashes at the teeth, becomes rigid. Again, you've got physical access,
but you've also got mind control. Somehow it gets between the kid and his own brain
and he loses control of his body. So I give those examples.
Now Luke page 25, Luke 13 verse 10 through 13 where you had this on a sabbath Jesus was
teaching and a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for 18 years. Here we go.
She was bent over and could not straighten up at all. When Jesus saw her, he called her
forward and said to her, woman, you are set free from your infirmity, spirit of infirmity.
Then he put his hands on her and immediately she straightened up and praised God.
Here the woman's physical problem was not caused by something physically being
broken in her body. It was being caused by a demon. She had a spirit of infirmity.
It was affecting her. Now in her case, there's no indication it had any mind control. It had
any access to her brain. It was just crippling her. From had been crippled by a spirit for 18
years, she couldn't straighten up. Have you ever seen people walk like this?
That could be physical. It could be a demon.
She couldn't straighten up. You say, why couldn't she? Because it had enough control
of her physical body. What it was, her body conformed to.
And if you to pull that spirit out and set it beside her when she straightened up, that spirit would
have been hunched over. Because it was infirmed, so to speak, spirit of infirmity.
So I give different examples there. You can work through. Think about, is it outside?
Is it inside? Is it got just physical access? Is it affecting the person emotionally?
Go to one there in page 26. I want to show you this. This is an emotional effect here.
It's mind control again, but it's different. Verse 42, John chapter 8.
Jesus said to them, if God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and now
I'm here. I have not come in my own, but he sent me. Why is my language not clear to you?
Because you are unable to hear what I say. Oh, we have mind control.
It's not letting the person hear truth. It goes back to what Jesus said in, when the word goes out,
and it's like seeds scattered the side of the road. It's stolen away before it can ever take root.
Okay? Verse 44. You belong to your Father, the devil. And you want to carry out his,
your Father's desires. Huh? That's an emotional thing. They're desiring what their Father,
the devil desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth,
for there's no truth in him. When he lies, he's speaking his own native language,
for he's a liar and the father of lies. Yet because I tell you the truth, you do not
believe me. Well, number one, they couldn't hear him because the demons blocked them.
Now, who's he speaking to here? Anybody remember?
These are the religious people. These are scribes, Pharisees, Sadducees, that we could
back up and find out exactly who. But if somebody in that bunch, maybe all of them.
So, now, here's an interesting thing. Have you ever tried to show someone the truth about anything
in Scripture who they're already saved? They've gone to church for 35 years, but you can't
get it across to them to save your life. They can't see it. They just, it does not go in.
That's a spirit. Of course, you bring that up to them, they'll probably throw you out of their house
or wherever you're at. But you need to recognize, that is what we would call a religious spirit.
And they know what they believe and they know they're right. And we're not going to discuss
this. And no matter what you bring up, they can't hear you. They will argue with you,
they'll fight with you. They can't hear you. That same person will struggle with demonic desires,
just like Jesus said here. You want to carry out, you want, when you want something,
you're desiring it. You want what your father desires. So demons can affect us emotionally.
And of course, one of the best ways to keep you from listening is hit your emotions.
All you got to do is make someone angry. They can't hear you at all. All they're going to do is
defend themselves. So if they started getting irritated with you, well, yeah, that's how the
demon works. He's keeping them deaf to you. So number seven, demons are able to block us
from taking in information, examples, husbands and wives. Sometimes they just can't hear each
other. Just let that soak a little bit. If demons are active there, let her be. We hear them saying
something they aren't saying. Oh, that happens all the time of counseling. Someone says something,
and the spouse reacts. Don't you call me dumb? What did she just say? She said, I'm dumb.
I said, could you repeat to me her exact words? No, but I know what she said.
I said, say it again. Now listen closely. Sometimes you go through this two, three times,
and they'll, yep, she's calling me dumb. I said, she never used the word dumb.
She never inferred you were dumb. How are you hearing dumb? Well, that's what she's saying.
There have been occasions, give me your hand. In the name of Jesus, I command whatever's blocking
your hearing and understanding, get off of this man. He will hear his wife right now in Jesus'
name. No, honey, repeat yourself again. And all of a sudden he's going, oh, I guess she didn't
say I was dumb. It was a demon, blocking. It happens. So it talks about that, gives us evil
desires. Let's jump ahead a little further. We're not making it as fast as we should,
but at least you're learning something, hopefully. List some desires there at the top,
different things that happen. Chapter four, verse 15 of Mark. Some people are like seed along the path.
Here's another scripture where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, Satan comes and takes away
the word that was sown in them. So here is my put two and two together. Satan is obviously the
demonic realm. Satan himself is not running around, taking the word away from everybody who hears
it. So it's the demonic realm. So Satan takes away the word that was sown in them,
or the spirit takes away the word that was sown in them. Where does the spirit have to be?
To get the word that's in them. In them. There you go. So it talks about that.
I don't think we need to say anything else. I think everything else will be pretty clear to
you. Let's... Do you want to ask some questions here or you want to go on and ask them later?
What do we got? Anybody got questions you want to? Okay, there's a couple hands going up.
Let's talk a little bit. Molly, could you help me with that or maybe even assign it to Sam?
Wouldn't that be great? And then we'll get into talking about how to recognize
when demons are talking to us. We'll talk about that some. So we have a question up in the
sound booth. And then we've got a couple down here. So let's see what we got.
So I want to go back to the contract for selling your soul. A while ago, it probably still
does it, but there was a YouTube trend for blaspheming the Holy Spirit where they got on
and said, I hear by blaspheming the Holy Spirit and whatever. Can you just address the
remedy for that? I mean, okay, you're signing a legal blood covenant, blah, blah, blah, but
is that enforceable? Is that forgivable? Is that... I mean, I think I know the answer to this,
but when you're doing this out of ignorance... That is a key word right there. Ignorance.
There is more hope for you when you're doing it out of ignorance
than if you're someone who is raised in the church, maybe even saved at one point,
know what the Scripture has to say about the blood of Jesus and all this stuff, and then willfully
enter into it. God can forgive anything but the unpardonable sin or blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.
So even in this act, if you cross that line, which you'd have to have some knowledge, I think,
to be able to cross that line, you kind of got to know what you're doing.
To willfully blaspheme.
But if you cross that line, there's no hope. And where that line is, that's different for
everybody. I don't know. Yes, I know of people who have made blood covenant with Satan, who've
gotten saved and God set them free and got them out. But I'll tell you this, I don't know of
anybody who did that, who it was an easy road. It was... their side takes it very seriously.
And they will just torment that person and keep coming back and keep coming back and keep
coming back. It can take months and years to get free free. It's just not something to
play with. But is that kind of what you thought? Yep. But it's good to get it on the recording.
Okay, we have one in the back right over there. So about the first time for four,
I had an experience where I was in a deliverance session. And they decided, oh,
you need to test your tongues. You give the tongues to see if you got false tongues.
Right. Yeah, we're going to talk about that if we have time.
Not tonight, but before we're done. So anyway, they used that verse and they said,
no, we're going to say this to you and the spirit needs to respond, whether it's Holy Spirit or demon.
Well, I just sat there waiting because I thought, well, if they want the spirit to
respond, I'm going to say anything. I could have easily just said it and they
wouldn't have known the difference. So they came to the conclusion because of this,
that I had this demonic counterfeit gift of tongues. There we go. Do you speak in tongues?
Nope. Like I'm being tested by a doctor who's never actually done any doctoring, so to speak.
So the problem was it put a tiny seed of doubt in my mind. So I ended up going to a pastor,
you know, full gospel pastor and said, you know, he's like, oh, that's ridiculous. It's
not going to not a real test at all. They misapplied it. So I appreciate you saying that
because if you believe that that's like the acid test and it's not, it can really lead people astray.
You could hurt people. Right. Yeah. I think I said this, I'm sure I said this ready,
but since you brought it up, I'll say it again. There is such a thing. If there's the genuine
or the real, there's the false. I mean, that you just have to understand that principle.
If God has a real, the devil has perverted that and somehow made it false. So there's
a false counterpart of the real. And the guy who was my mentor was a very conservative Baptist
and he refused to speak in tongues. And his reason was he had heard so many people in
false tongues. I said, how do you know they're false tongues? He said, they sound the same.
He said, you measure it right here. Have you, and he asked me this question. He said,
have you ever heard anybody speaking tongues where it just kind of like, oh man, what is that?
I said, yep. He said, that's false tongues. He said, that's a demon speaking through the
person. I said, they're Christian. He said, I don't care. He said, I have seen so much of that
that he said, I won't touch it. He said, now I know it's real. And then he said this.
And he said to me what you just said. He said, how about you speaking tongues
right here? I know you speaking tongues. How about you do it right here and let's see what you got.
And I'm going, nah, I'm sweating bullets going. Well, I think I got the real deal. I hope I got
the real deal. He said, no, come on, let's do it. Okay. So I started speaking in tongues.
He sat back and closed his eyes. And he opened his eyes and looked at me.
He said, that feels really good. That's God.
But yeah, kind of the same concept.
So what do you do when you're in a service? And this happens. And it's a full gospel kind of
setting, charismatic setting. And someone gives a message in tongues or starts praying out in tongues.
And you know this demonic, you can feel it. This isn't the spirit of God. This is quenching. This is
that the leader has to shut that down. Because that spirit will be cursing that service and that
group of people. And you have to shut that down. But I'm glad you brought it up. We were
going to talk about it. So if we don't get to it, now we just did. There, whatever is real,
can be counterfeited. Good point, okay?
Other quick comment about the religious spirit. It seems to me one of the best examples of observing
that is when you run up to somebody or you run into someone who's a cessationist who, in other
words, believes the gift of the spirit aren't for today. You start to talk to them about that.
That flair comes on right away. And you're like, okay, I think this is coming from.
And they can't hear you. Yeah. And the more you try to talk about it, the more angry they get.
I've seen fire in the eyes of a person I had known my whole life when I'd wrought that up
for the first time. And they were cessationists. I'd never seen that come up inside of them.
Yeah, they'll breathe fire at you. Did I share the story about the minister? He was a
Bible school teacher who was dealing with the Jehovah's Witness. Did I share that story
with you? One of our teachers, when I was at school, there was two teachers there who
believed strongly in Christians could struggle with demons. The school kind of frowned on it
because it was assembly god school. And they don't believe Christians can have demons,
but these two guys knew they could. And so one of them, I'll just say his name,
of he had, there was a Jehovah's Witness who was coming to him, trying to prove to him
that Jesus was not God. Because at that, there was a point in time, back in the 60s and 70s,
they did not believe Jesus was Messiah. He was not the Son of God. They've switched that since,
but back then they didn't believe it. So this was back in that realm. And he came two, three times
because the guy was genuinely concerned that this church was teaching false doctrine and they
believed that Jesus was God. And he couldn't, the teacher, at that point, he was a pastor
when this happened, but at that point, he couldn't get through to him. And he said,
what do I do? And the Holy Spirit kind of notes him. He said, this is a spirit. He
found out. So he talked to him about salvation and believing in God for the forgiveness of your sins,
this, that, and that. Oh yeah, I believe all that. But Jesus is not God. He was a good man. He was a
prophet, blah, blah, blah. So he said, what do I do? He said, spirit. He said, so the Holy
Spirit told me, he said, ask him if you can pray over him. He said, so I asked him. He
said, yeah, sure you can pray over him. He so got behind him, laid my hands on his head
and took authority over that spirit that was blinding him and commanded it to release him
long enough so he could see the truth. He said, went around, turned around, sat down. I took my
Bible, went to John chapter one, handed it to him. He said, he had read it before and couldn't
see nothing. He said, handed it to him. I said, start reading. Just read out loud. In the beginning
was the word. Word was with God. The word was God. He said he read down five, six verses
and he started slowing up in his reading. And he got down to and the word became flesh and dwelt
among us. And he said, he looked up at me. He says, his eyes were biggest saucers. He said,
I could almost quote this chapter to you. And I have never seen this.
Yes. Now isn't that sad? He was demonically blinded that he couldn't see it.
Just so sad. There was a question up here. Sam, we need you to run up this direction.
There's two of them in fact. Did you? No? Then it must have been Bonnie. All right.
Oh, you too? Okay. Okay, excuse me. Okay, Robin. She was blind. She was mute. She had seizures.
And we prayed for her healing and she never got healed. Should we have been praying for
deliverance instead? I don't know. Maybe. I don't know. I wasn't there. But we know from
Scripture it can happen that it's actually just little. I mean, she was a baby. Yeah. Yeah.
I don't know. Could have been demonic. And that's why you got no response
when you prayed for healing because it wasn't a healing issue. It was a demon issue.
The possibility. I don't know. Can we go back to the thing that happened a couple of weeks ago
when you had the prayer line and you had the individual and you recognized what you
were dealing with? What do you do in a situation like that when someone comes to church, they come up
in the healing line and you recognize? Same thing I would do in a Bible study. Same
thing I would do in a counseling session. The person was standing physically, standing,
arms crossed, looking down and just breathing heavy.
I said, can you look up at me? Wouldn't look up.
Wouldn't look up. That's that's one of the first signs. It's not,
it either the person is really, really ashamed or they're not in total control anymore.
I said, can you hear me? Well, that the demon can answer to that too. You know,
so the person shook their head. Yep, I can hear you.
I said, I want to talk to you, but I want to look into your eyes.
Can you look up? And wouldn't look up. I said, are you here? Are you in control of your body?
And that's when waited a bit. And they said, kind of, not really.
And I said, well, here we go. We got a demon. So it was in that case, it was no big divine
revelation. It just was, you're not responding to me. Now, you could be that ashamed. You could feel
that bad. But when the person said, I can't respond. I'm not, you know, I said it described.
So then I said, describe it to me. They said, it's like you're way off in the distance.
And it's everything is confusion. It's like it's going round and round and round. And
I'm, I'm struggling to be conscious. Well, that, that's pure demon. I mean, that's a demon
manifesting. So then did that end the whole thing? And that was? No, then we cast it out. Okay.
So then I commanded it down. Okay. I said, you let this, there was a woman. I said,
you let this woman go. I want to talk to her. And it backed down. And then I, I went to
James 4-7. I said, here's what we're going to pray. And I'm going to have you submit yourself to God.
And we're going to resist this thing to command it to get out. And then I will pray for you.
But that's all I need from you. And they prayed that and they had trouble praying that.
The submitting to God was not bad. But I said, command it to leave you. You want nothing
to do with it. Resist it. So just follow me. I command you. I couldn't get the word out.
Command. I said, you can do it. Force it out. And they got it out. So we got through that
second part of the prayer. And then that's, that's when it started.
Because it knew we're in trouble now because the person literally submitted themselves to God
commanded it to go. It has to go. So then we cast it out into that. But it took a bit
for the person to come back online. It didn't, their thinking didn't clear up as soon as it
left. They had a huge, what happens when they manifest like that is you get a huge adrenaline
burst. And any kind of adrenaline when you're not burning it up, it just kind of disorientates you.
They had a huge adrenaline burst and their eyes were big and they were blinking. And I said,
can you see me? Yeah, I can see you. I can hear you. I got in control, but I just feel weird.
I said, well, yeah, I might take a minute or two for that to clear up. So I had them sit down
and, but that's how that played out. So I would do that in a Bible study. I would do
that in a counseling. You don't be afraid to ask questions. What's going on here? You're looking
for the person to respond and you're also looking for the person to not respond. And you're just
fishing, going for it. Like I said, unless God shows me somebody has something that needs to
be cast out or they manifest somehow, I am not a big believer in I can, you know, I just feel you
have a spirit of and I start making pronouncements over you of what I feel the Holy Spirit is
telling me about you. I am not a believer in that. Say why? Because I've watched so many
people get hurt.
