Okay, we got a few minutes yet. Let's go on page 29. Recognizing when demons talk to us, we won't get too far in this, but we'll talk about it a little bit. From the outside and inside, there doesn't seem to be much difference when they talk to us. They can touch our thoughts and emotions. They can give us physical sensations. They can give us physical pain. They can do that outside or inside for whatever reason they can do it. More so inside, but they can do it. When a demon is living in us and they access our brain with us, we can hear and feel them with our own thoughts and feelings. Yeah, is that a true statement, Abby? I'll say it again because you're thinking about things. When a demon is living in us and they access our brain, so what just happened to you, we can hear and feel them with our own thoughts and feelings. Yeah, absolutely. Many people describe it. It becomes like you're double-minded. It can be very confusing. Your thoughts will speed up and race like a thousand miles an hour and you just can't... It's confusion. You can't slow them up and it's just going really fast. Seems like there is always an internal struggle, a war going on with your own thoughts and your own feelings. There's always struggle inside. There's always combating thoughts, always combating feelings. Those things can be demonic. They're not always, but they can be, so pay attention to that. One principle to remember to help us differentiate between the Holy Spirit's voice and the demonic voice, God will almost always direct us. What I mean by that is we feel led to do something. We have time and we pray about it. We have choice in the matter. We can decide... we can decide not to do what he's telling us to do. But it's our choice. He's directing us. He's leading us. Demons will almost always drive us. We're driven. We feel pushed to do something. We have to do it. We need to do it now. We have little to no choice in the matter of decision. It just seems like there are no options. We just have to do this. And if we don't do it now, something bad's going to happen. It's not an inward direction. It's an inward driving. So, case in point, Object Lesson was here tonight, so let's just use it. When we have the Holy Spirit speak to us and directs us to do something, it's calm. It's, how would you say, quiet, peaceful. It's presented to us like, yeah, I know I need to do... for instance, you're supposed to come forward for a prayer line. And you know I should be going up there. I just know it. And you're feeling the Holy Spirit in. He's trying to direct you. He's nudging you. And sometimes it takes more effort to stay sitting than it does to get up. But you can stay sitting there, and then afterwards you'll feel really bad. But you're not forced to do it. That, what we just witnessed, is how demons operate. They force you. You're driven. There is no peace if you don't. That is one of the ways... telltale sign, one of the ways you can tell the difference between if a demon's talking to you or God's talking to you. They will drive you. And all you have to do is talk back to them. Yeah, I don't think I'm going to do that today. You have to do that today. I mean, the father's asking. And you can't deny it. And they'll use religious language on you. Just like Satan did with Jesus. Yeah, I think I'm out for today. I'm busy. And now they'll start getting forceful in your head and in your feelings. And they'll just the longer you play with it, the harder they push. That is not the Holy Spirit. We've all been led by the Holy Spirit. And we've all said, yeah, I don't think that. I don't think I'm going to do that. And he'll back off for half an hour or an hour. And all of a sudden, here he's back. You know, you really should do this. Yeah, but I don't know what. Yeah. And then we're reading the Bible or something or somebody calls on the phone or something happens and it's kind of a confirmation tune. And he'll back off again. He doesn't drive us, but he'll just keep nudging at you a few hours later. Yeah, you really, you know, it'll just come back to you. I should do this and that feeling comes and that conviction now starts coming because you're not obeying. And it's just an opposite of the way they do it. Letter B on the bottom. We will often hear the thoughts and feel the feelings of the demon that is in us. But rarely does the person realize it's not their feelings, but the demon in them. For instance, she felt very sad all day. She didn't know that was a demon she was feeling. She thought that was her. Why am I so sad today? I'm sure that's what was going through her mind. Wasn't going through her mind. I got a demon and this thing's sad. I'm sure that was not going through her mind. You know, so you say, well, how can that be scriptural? Have any of you ever interceded in the spirit? In the Holy Spirit, to where we're talking Romans 8 interception, intercession, to where you start praying in your prayer language and this thing just starts boiling in you to the point you can't even speak in your prayer language anymore. You're just uttering what Romans 8 says, sounds and words that it makes sense to him. But boy, any human looking at you, you're not making any sense at all. It's just boiling out of you. If you've experienced that, you can all answer this question. What was the Holy Spirit feeling when that was going on inside of you? Because you were feeling his intensity. And if you stop and go, you know, the last time that happened, what was he feeling? Like there was someone I talked to just this last week who was in an intercession. It was like a, it was a prophecy, but it was kind of standing in the gap kind of prophecy. And this is what God wants for you. And it started boiling up in them. And then later they weren't sure if they should have done that or not. So they talked to me about it. I said, well, here's my perspective on it, gave it to him this time. I said, so what were you feeling when you were delivering that with such intensity? What were you feeling? The feeling was, I have got to do everything I can so they don't miss out. You were feeling what the Holy Spirit was feeling. And every one of us who've had the Holy Spirit intercede through us like that, every situation is a little different, but you can feel what he's feeling. That is, well, he's a spirit living inside of us the same way our spirit's in here. And he starts expressing himself, we can feel that. That's God's side. So if that happens in God's side, there is a counterfeit side. If God can do it, they will try to replicate it, imitate it, and pervert it. Now there's one thing that is, how would you say, to me, I've never asked anybody this who disagreed with it. Hard and fast rule. When you've gone through intercession, like Romans 8 intercession, and the Holy Spirit has just been, it's almost like dry heaves and he's just wailing through you kind of thing. When you're done and it finally is over, I will say, and what does it feel like when it's over and you're done? Peaceful. It is the most peaceful feeling you will ever experience on this earth. You are so totally at peace. It actually, it feels so warm, so welcoming. But it actually is like, wow, it will amaze you. And I've never heard anybody say anything other than, when you get to the point you're done and you take a deep breath and just go, okay, what were you feeling for the next half hour, hour, maybe day? Just totally at peace. Never felt, it's like you could grab it and hold peace. Yep, everybody has the same thing. Yeah. It's exactly that. Okay, there's the God side. The other side you just witnessed, there's no peace there. When they manifest, and for instance, if you don't get them out and you got to take another run at it later, a different day, that person is tormented during that period of time. There's no peace. They're tormented because the Spirit in them is tormented. The same way you're at peace is because your Spirit and the Holy Spirit, you're perfect peace. He's at peace. You're at peace. There's just peace over here. This Spirit's tormented, so it's going to torment you. It's just the opposite. But it's the same but opposite. You know, it's kind of like Jesus saying, to save your life, you actually have to lose it. It's like, okay, that doesn't make any sense. Well, it's the same but opposite. It's that same thought. Go over to page 30. Let's touch a couple of things here yet and we'll open for any more questions. We'll be done closer to nine tonight, I think. Here, Peter is dealing with Jesus and he's telling Jesus not to go to the cross. He's rebuking them. Never, Lord, this shouldn't happen to you. And Jesus turned to Peter and said, Get behind me, Satan, you're a stumbling block to me. You do not have in mind, mind control. Peter had a demon. Of course, this is before Peter's even saved, so let's not criticize him. He's not even saved here yet. So yeah, he probably had a demon. You do not have in mind, he's working in the mind. The mind of the demon has, use a Star Trek thing. The mind of the demon has mind melded with Peter. And Peter thinks what he's thinking. He's thinking. And in reality, it was literally Satan himself. Now remember Sunday morning. This is a good little thing to tie on to Sunday morning. Remember, it's in Matthew 4 and then it's in Luke 4, I think, or something like that. And Luke's the one we want, where Jesus was tempted by Satan. And then when he was done tempting him, he withdrew for a ways, a space, and he waited. He just, he watched him and waited for a more opportune time. Here is another time Satan himself came after Jesus. So he's been, like we explained Sunday morning, he's been watching him. A direct confrontation didn't work. So he's been watching him trying to say, how do I get this guy? Here he took a swipe at him and Satan literally talked through Peter. Peter thought it was his thoughts. So we know there's mind control going on here. Because he says the mind, Jesus referred to the mind. You don't have the mind of things. So he's speaking through them. We know he's got brain access. It's just another time. He just took a completely different swipe at Jesus. Still didn't get him. Jesus recognized it. But he literally talked through Peter. So he had access to Peter. Again, there's other scriptures there talking about it, talking about desires, wanting the desires of your father. Then you got that one in James 3 verse 14 through 16, talking about what those desires are like and how those desires, if you go to verse 16, we never read that. For where there is jealousy, envy, contention, rivalry, selfish ambition, there will also be confusion, unrest, disharmony, rebellion. These are all signs demons are talking to you. He's talking about wisdom here. Wisdom that comes from above and wisdom that is not from above. Wisdom that is earthly and devilish, demonic. With that wisdom is jealousy, contention. He lists those first three again like he mentioned in verse 14, selfish ambition or competition. Selfish ambition and competition are basically the same thing. But there's also other characteristics that go with when demons are talking to you. Confusion, unrest, disharmony, rebellion, and all sorts of evil and vile practices. So the more we know the word, the quicker we can recognize that the demons talking to us. Because the thought or the feeling that's going through us is like, yeah, that ain't God. Well, then who do you think it is? You know, you can recognize it's evil. You can recognize it's vile. These feelings and ways of reasoning and thinking can be demonic at their core. We know that because of the end of verse 15, James said so. The person may see them as their thinking and feelings, but it may not be originating with them. So now we're going to get into the voices, the three voices that, and we didn't get through this handout, but next week we start on page 31, and we're going to talk about the voices and give examples there of how demons talk to us in first, second, and third person voice. Any questions? Anything anybody wants to bring up? Wow, we're good. Anything come in online that we see? No. I don't think I have anything either. Oh, we got one question that, see, we waited too long. Sam, if you can run over there to him. So, going back to the piece after intercession, what I have observed when somebody's going through a deliverance is they're just exhausted. Absolutely. And it's the opposite. Like they've been battling with the thing that, you know, just just beheats them. Yep. You know, and the piece sometimes comes, but it's because of the absence of the demon. Yep. But boy, I mean, sometimes it's like, I'm so exhausted. I got close to light on. So, it was interesting to hear the opposite of that after the intercession. That's exactly true. She will be very tired tomorrow. I'm not calling that over you. That's just normal. Because your body just went through an extreme thing. They're in your temple. And to get them out, it's an extreme thing that the body experienced. Now, I want to point this out, because I think this is important. Here's how it happened the first time I got into deliverance. When I was still a staunch believer, a Christian couldn't have a demon. Okay. Happened the same way. So now you were all here witnessing this. I don't know if you pointed the camera that direction or not. Probably it was good if you did so that people didn't think whatever they thought. And for those of you online, you witnessed this. Okay. So we're here just talking. We're just here teaching, sharing examples. And a young lady who is saved, filled with the spirit, flows in the spirit, has tremendous good things following her life manifests. What are you going to do with that? Well, that wasn't a demon. Really? It wasn't her. So then what? Angel? You know that? I don't think so. See, so that's how it happened to me the first time. And you get thrown into that. And like I said, we called the... I went back, I had written notes in the early part of that. And I went back and reread some of my notes. And it happened on the one day when the pastor and the board member were there. And then with the first person. And then the next morning, I had written down, the pastor came to my office about 11 in the morning. And he said, I have been on the phone with the district. And they are all telling me, this is not a demon because Christians can't have demons. And that this is a mental case. And they're recommending which hospital we should take her to. This is the pastor. This is before I tried to get help. He was trying to get help. And he said, is there nobody in the district that deals with this? And they said, no, because this doesn't happen. So he came to my office and he had this concerned look on his face. I said, what's the matter? Well, I spent all morning on the phone. And I've just been told that what happened yesterday didn't happen. It wasn't real. It wasn't a demon. And that we need to renounce that and back off of this. To let professionals help the girl. I said, so what do you think? He said, I've never seen a demon manifest. That was the first time in his ministry he'd seen it. He said, but that was a demon. He said, you realize we could lose our licenses over this? Which at the time wasn't funny. Now it's kind of funny. But at the time it wasn't funny. And I looked down and I said, are you serious? He said, if we pursued this, they told me we need to back away. If we pursued this, we could get in trouble with this whole thing. I said, well, what do you want to do? He said, we're going to get that thing out. And if it doesn't leave, I'm quitting the ministry anyway. So let's go. So that's how I got thrown in the first time. Just kind of, like you saw it right here. So how do you look at that and say, folks, that never happened? That was not a spirit manifesting. That was, maybe she's angry about something or she lost control. And what they said is, she got mental problems. Take her to a psychiatrist. How many of you would say, oh, okay, not one of you. Because once you've experienced it, you know, you just know, yeah, that, nah, that was what we just saw. So I throw that in there because here we've got a young lady who is hot after God, who is, is, hears God, hears his voice. I mean, on and on the list can go, but there was a critter that needed to get out. And the Holy Spirit said, let's push this one up. Let's get this out. And that's exactly what happened. So I'm proud of you. We're all proud of you. All right, folks, have a good night. See you next.
