Kevin mentioned to me that there was a comment put online a few weeks back, whatever, and I won't take the time to go through the whole thing. I'll just refer to the gist of it. The comment was that generational curses did not pass through the cross. So all this stuff we're talking about about generational curses is false because generational curses have not passed through the cross. Okay, so I'm going to start my answer with a question in case you're listening, or you do listen at some point, and I'm not meaning this out of disrespect. I'm meaning this out of a reality check. How many demons have you cast out? To where they were manifesting, cussing at you, hissing, coming at you, trying to physically abuse you, anything in that realm. How many have you cast out? Because my guess is none. And like I said, I'm not trying to be disrespectful. But anybody I know of who works in deliverance and has worked in at any length of time deals with generational curses because they're very much alive and well. So I challenge you to go back and rethink that. I'm going to give an explanation for it. Generational curses. Where do generational curses come out of? Well, in the Old Testament is the first time they're brought up under Moses. But that's where they're brought up. That's not where they started. Generational curses started with Adam and Eve. When Adam and Eve led in the curse, that curse, if you go back and read the points, every point of that original curse is still active on the earth, every point of it. Christian women still have pain and childbirth. Christian husbands still want to rule their wife rather than keeping her as a companion. I mean, Christian men still have to sweat to earn a living. Every point of that curse is still intact. Now when we get to Moses, he develops on it and gives a lot of details of what that curse looks like. With Adam and Eve, God just gave some general statements. Moses broke it down to huge detail in Deuteronomy 28, 29 and 30 and other places, but huge detail. Today curses are still active. Nothing has changed. The cross didn't stop the curse of women having pain and childbirth. The cross did not stop the curse of Christian men having to sweat to earn their living. The cross did not stop the curse of weeds growing in Christians' fields. That's all part of that original curse in Genesis 3. To say generational curses have stopped, that you're wrong. You're missing it. They're as much alive today as they were then. The difference the cross made was this. We now have the right to say no to them and stop them except for one. We're still going to die. This physical body is going to die. That one won't change. It's the last enemy Paul said that will be put under Christ's feet. So that one we're still all going to experience. But everything else that's a curse in Deuteronomy 28, 29, 30, in the original curses that God said, well, this is what you opened up the world to. Here's what's coming on you now. Every one of them we can beat as a Christian by faith through grace and a knowledge of the word. Women can have babies without pain, but it won't automatically happen. You're going to have to take it by faith. And I know a few who've done it. I could list. I won't take the time. We don't have the time. You can beat a curse by faith, but if you don't go after it by faith, the curse will try to manifest in your life whether you're Christian or not, makes no difference. And my point is this, just go back to the original curses and read them in Genesis 3 and tell me how many of those have disappeared in not only the unsaved people of the world, but in the Christian people of the world. How many are... Once we get saved, none of those curses are relevant anymore. They all went away. None of them went away. They're all there. But when we got saved, Jesus said, and I'm handing you the keys of the kingdom, take it back and come out from underneath that curse and live above it. So, you know, and it's not a unique point that gets brought up. I've had that brought up to me many times. Generational curses passed away at the cross. I don't see how you can read scripture and see that. I don't see a big picture of scripture. The soul that sins, it will die. That is a curse from coming under sin. That still stands. That curse hasn't gone away. None of them have gone away. We just have been given the ability to live above them. So, hopefully that answers that question. All right. Number ten. I need to just reemphasize this. This isn't a question. Just need to reemphasize it. But if you receive deliverance, recognize you are in sin somewhere. That's what caused the demon to have the live whole. Or have access to your temple. You're going to have to find it and deal with it. If it doesn't get dealt with before you get the demon out, you go to the Holy Spirit afterwards and say, what did I do to let that in? He will show you. He'll help you. So, you can close that door. Number eleven. When you cast out demons, you send them to the abyss using the scripture of the man with the legion. I have always used Romans sixteen, twenty and Genesis three, fifteen and bind them and place them under the heel of Jesus. I've heard other people say it this way. I place them at Jesus' feet. And I think they're both saying the same thing. So, they say, I bind them and I place them under the heel of Jesus. Is this right? Okay. So, let me give you a couple of my thoughts and principles. I'm not God. So, take that for what it's worth. But let's talk about it. Romans sixteen, twenty was one of the two scriptures. This scripture says the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. And the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ will be with you. Amen. So, now listen to how that's worded. And the God of peace will crush Satan under Jesus' feet shortly. Didn't say Jesus' feet. Said your feet. So to cast them under the feet of Jesus, Jesus is going to hand them right back and say, I did my part. Now you crush them. It's under your feet they get crushed. Genesis three, fifteen, I can see here this, I could possibly apply. Let's see. He's talking to Eve now. And this is the curse and the promise of the Savior coming in that section. I will put enmity between you and the woman. And between your seed and her seed. Now he's talking to the devil here. You and the woman are going to become enemies. And your seed and her seed are going to become enemies. So now just as a side thought in case you've never thought about it. Her seed, capital S, was Jesus. Of course it had to come down through the generations and land on Jesus. Who is his seed? Think about it. I will put enmity between you and the woman between your seed. He's talking to the devil and her seed. He shall bruise your head. And you shall bruise his heel. He, the seed of the woman, he, Jesus, bruised the devil's head. Didn't kill him, didn't crush it. That's coming. That final, we're done with you. But he took authority and he got the authority back. He shall bruise your head and you shall bruise his heel. In other words Satan, you're going to be able to cause him some pain when he steps on you. Which he did. The whole crucifixion thing and going to hell and the whole thing. That was not a happy experience, I'm sure. But either way. Okay, so the thought there is casting the demon to the feet of Jesus so that Jesus would bruise the head of the demon. He did that in context. He did that when he came. That's the way I see it. Jesus, when he said it's finished everything needed for life and godliness and to overcome the power of the devil was provided presuming he rose from the dead. Which he did. But while he was alive on earth, the last thing, it's finished because I'm coming back and that will seal the whole thing. It was finished. So going back to the first scripture it's, I see it as it's up to us. They're under our feet. So my question on, I got a question to go back to the person who sent this in. My question to you is this on the casting demons to the feet of Jesus after they're cast out so that he deals with them. Did the Holy Spirit tell you to do that to demons or did you hear it from somebody? Because that can make a huge difference. If you heard it from somebody I talked to the person and say let's go deeper with this. Help me understand this. If the Holy Spirit told you do this with them and you're sure it was the Holy Spirit I'll stay out of it between you and God. I'm not going to get in there and say, oh no you can't do that. If he told you then that's how he wants you to operate in it. But at the same token I would go back and say I need more Scripture on this. And he'll be glad to provide them. It's not a problem. Number 12. This has to do with understanding the rank and authority of the enemy and the rank and the authority of people. So now this person is going to talk about something that happened in a church. In a previous church we were able to have authority over our house which was the parsonage in the yard. So this person was in the ministry We had authority over our house which was the parsonage in the yard but no authority in the church and their yard. So they probably were side by side because the elders said that they have the authority over the church. Is this right? And they go on and say the demons there would manifest even for my children right on the property line. As long as they stayed in the parsonage side everything was fine. If they got over into the church side there was manifestations that would take place. Is it right what the elders said we have authority over the church property? You have none. It's right depending upon the agreement with the agreement you had with the church and how they limited your authority. Did they limit your authority? And churches will do that, especially established churches and they do, you know, there are multiple reasons. Let's not get into church government. But multiple reasons. They'll limit it. Certain churches, the pastor can't make any decisions at all. He can't spend any money. He can't preach things that they don't approve. They limit the authority. So basically the elders are in charge and the pastor just does what they say. Well in those situations absolutely they can limit your authority to get rid of any spirit because they might like the spirit that's there without even knowing it's a spirit. They may like it. So they'll limit your authority to get rid of it. If they didn't give you that authority, I mean if they didn't take that authority, if you've been given full authority as a minister and that's one of the blessings of starting a church is I have the authority here. You don't like it, leave. Bottom line. Yeah, we work with the board. The board gives advice. The board helps make decisions. But when it comes right down to push and shove nobody's going to tell me what I'm going to preach on. I'm not going to have to ask permission when I walk into the sanctuary and I sense there's an evil spirit here. I don't have to have a board meeting to decide what we're going to do with it. I'm going to kick it out. And that's one of the blessings of starting a church. Now at time goes on this church will be handed on. That same authority has to hand on. And that's what makes people nervous. Well we don't know what the guy is going to be like when he comes in. We don't know what they're going to do. Yeah, but you can't make a hireling out of them. Well we hired them to be our preacher and to marry and to bury and give messages on Sunday. If that's all he is as a hireling, he won't have the authority needed to do what needs to be done. So yes, it can happen. Okay, going on. Same story. There was a time where the elders were told that this is a problem, the demonic thing and the church authority and so forth. And their response was they did not know what to do so they did nothing. In other words they didn't know what to do with the demon issue so they just did nothing. The sad part was when they spoke this there was once it came out and they actually took that stand there were unexplained deaths on their farms and crazy things were happening to the point that one elder even announced in front of the church that if he offended anyone he asked them to forgive him because he was trying to make the deaths must have been of cattle, things like that on his farm stop. That's intense. My understanding is they verbally said out loud they do not know what or how to remove the church demons was this opening up with admission of no power. In other words were they admitting at that point they have no power so the demons just started doing what they do. Possibly. To cut them some slack they were probably as much victims as anybody else because they didn't know what to do honestly and they were in the position of authority they obviously did not have the wherewithal to handle and when they kept the authority but said we're going to live with these demons Because we don't know what to do. It just broke loose on them. Possibly, that's my guess. Could have been other things. I would also say there's probably other circumstances in their own personal lives that helped open the door to that. But yeah, I'm pretty sure it would have all worked together. It goes back to what we covered in the holding of the land study. You can't move in with the enemy. You just can't do it. You can't compromise, move in with the enemy. And if you say, well, I know there's demons in the church, but we don't know what to do with them, so we're just going to live with them. That's going to come back and bite you. You can't do that. You can't move in with the enemy. So, next question. This one is a two-part. It's a question and an experience. So, the person shared the experience first and then answered the question. So, here's the experience. My husband and I were at a prayer meeting. This is one that just started in an established church. For a few weeks, you could notice the Holy Spirit was moving and excitement was building within the people. The prayers changed from grocery lists, kind of prayers, to praise and seeking God. One night, our daughter came with us. She was 15 at the time. Two other girls were there. One was 17. The other was 14. And an elder came to the prayer meeting that same night for the first time. He hadn't been there before, came for the first time. Backstory on the elder. This elder had a daughter that is now in lock-up, in a lock-up facility because of her self-harm behavior. My understanding was it became very evident when she was baptized in water. That's when the things started flaring. And the elder said they did not believe in demon warfare up to now, but did not know what to do. So, they did basically what they had advised us to do in that first thing. Put her in a psychiatric hospital. That's what they did. So, there's the backstory in the elder who showed up that same night. The teenagers were there. So, we were praying and some were standing, sitting and kneeling. The 14-year-old girl was standing when all of a sudden she was thrown to the ground. When her parents helped her to the chair, she was a bit confused and said what happened. Then I was pushed down. We continued praying. When my daughter, who was sitting next to me, whispered, mom, help me. I cannot sit up. Something is pushing me down. I placed my hand on her and she then begins to panic because she cannot sit up. I turned to my husband and he begins to say we need to pray. Something is not right. He stands up, places his hands on their daughter and takes authority being her dad and her being a believer. So, everybody saved here. People gather around her and pray and she screams get it off of me. Others start praying and my husband as the dad is taking charge and praying. While this scene is going on, the elder stands up and says, this is what happened to my daughter. This is the same thing. And he was not saying it from the point of authority, but from accepting what will come. So, in other words, this is what happened to my daughter, so expect your daughter to end up in the funny farm too, because that is how it happened to my daughter. My husband then rebuked the words from his mouth and stood and prayed. Thank God. And that is where sometimes you have to push back, try to do it humbly, but don't accept stuff that will destroy you. Thank God. He said, new. We're not going that route. Our daughter said it flew off of her and she was a bit shook, but she was okay or fine. People sitting were a bit confused. The leader of the group just started praying again, probably because he had no idea what to do. The other girl said later she felt like she was being squeezed. Okay, so there's the experience. There's the incident. Here's the question. Was this demon or demons trying to stop the prayer and the praise obviously? Yes. And probably a whole lot more. Ultimately, they are all after any spiritual life or movement in the church or in believers. That's ultimately what they want to squelch. So yeah, the prayer, praise meetings are starting to gain momentum. This is good. So what are they going to do? We got to shut this down. So they did that, which will undoubtedly cause a ripple effect and affect people and cause people to back off. Okay. Number two question. Why did it hit our girls? Was it because of the elder that was experiencing this? So my assumption is this. In this situation, all of you were victims, the elder and the girls and the elder's daughter who was in the psychiatric ward. My guess is no one hears the specific cause. Now he did not know his authority in Christ. He did not have the teaching he needed or the knowledge he needed. So as a result, he was accepting of it, which was wrong. But I doubt he caused it. Here is my questions. And I was going to grab a booklet and bring it in. Kevin's got some in the media room. I think it was in 2014, we did a teaching on the infiltration of the church. Okay. What I'm going to briefly stay here, that describes that much more detail in that booklet, if you want to just ask him for it. Number one, there's one or two things happening here is my guess. You either have a practicing witch or Satanist in the church and you don't know it. For it to, for the spirit to be that strong in a praise and worship setting to where they are, there's poltergeist going on. They're physically manifesting and pushing people around. You got something big happening here. This is not somebody ate too much chocolate cake and they didn't repent kind of thing. This is bigger than that. So you either have been infiltrated, which is one of the things they love to do in witchcraft and satanism. And that booklet will describe it to you. They've been doing it for decades and the churches just were not sharp enough to catch it. They will infiltrate and they will become, if at all possible, the most willing worker, the nicest person. They'll work their way up, get on the board, get as close to the pastor as they can. And now they've been given authority in the church. And now the authority they start putting out there will be their true roots. But at that point to grab them and say, you're the problem, they've won over most of the congregation. Everybody loves them. They're so wonderful. They're so willing to help. I know their family, this, that, and the other. If you try to root them out at that point, you're probably going to lose a whole bunch of people. But if you don't lose, root them out, you have a spiritual problem in that church, which is going to affect a whole bunch of people. So what happened is you waited too long. It got too close to the leadership of the church. It's either that or there have been horrific sins that have taken place in the church in the past that have not been dealt with. This happens almost annually with a laity led church. Laity, I mean the congregation or the board runs the church rather than a clergy led church where the pastor runs the church and the board supports him. Laity led as the board runs the church and the pastor is hired to do a job. It happens almost annually at the annual business meeting because you will have clicks in that group and they want things to go a certain way. And they will face off against this group and then that group face. And you will have all kinds of conflict and strife show up in the business meetings because the people decide how this is going. And the scripture says where you have strife you have every evil thing. Confusion and every evil thing. So there you go. My guess is it's one of those two. Okay, next question. Why did it hit the teenage girls? Now I'm going to give you an answer here that's going to be straight on. It's my experience. It's what I know. And I'm going to come out of John chapter 14. This will be in your booklet. I'll just read it to you now. John chapter 14 verses 30 and 31. Jesus is talking to his disciples here. And in verse 30 he says, I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming. So that's the devil. And he has nothing in me. But that the world may know that I love the father, and as the father gave me commandment, so I do. Arise, let us go from here. And they moved on. A couple of points here that are really important. The ruler, the prince of this world, the amplified says, the ruler of the world is coming, but he has no claim on me. There's nothing in common with him in me. There's nothing in me that belongs to him. He has no power over me. That's why Jesus had to lay down his life. It was not taken from him. Because they had no ability to take his life. And he just told us why they had nothing in him. He was sinless. There was no demons in Jesus' body. He was sinless. He was pure. So as a result, and there's numerous scriptures, if you want them, I can give them to you, where Jesus said, I lay down my life. A couple of times, he said, no man takes it from me. I will obey the father and lay down my life. Okay, so now take that principle and tie it back into this experience. I'll give you the long version in a second. The short version is, why did the girls get affected because they have demons? There's something in them that these spirits were able to work with. That's the short version. The long version is, welcome to Christian life and growth. I mean, for us to look and go, how could they have demons? Look in the mirror, honey. Chances are really good. You're not squeaky clean either. We're growing in this. And every year that goes by, we should be cleaner than we were the year before. But remember, for us to... Well, let me save that for a bit. I'll come back to it. I read on, my husband and I were told by the elders, so this experience happened in this prayer meeting and different people got affected. And one was thrown, one young lady was thrown to the floor. The other one couldn't move, couldn't get up. After it was over, my husband and I were told by the elders, we no longer could attend the prayer meeting. See, now here's my, I'm going to stop. It's in the middle of the sentence. I'm going to stop and give an opinion. My guess is because dad had enough gumption to tell the elder to shut up. And in those settings, you don't tell the elder, knock it off. You're wrong. They get ugly over that because they're the elder. They know. Okay? But that's not what was told them. We no longer could attend the prayer meeting and we're told this was just our daughter acting for attention. As for the other girls, they have normal explanations for what happened to them. And we are not to say that this has a spiritual root at all. So they were kicked out of the prayer meeting. Okay, so now we've got strong demonic activity happening in this church in that prayer meeting. What do you think is going to happen to that prayer meeting? Two months later, the prayer meeting was shut down. Exactly. That's what the demons wanted. Shut it down. The response of the elders and the people, typical religious response. We don't know what to do, so let's make something up. Some religious thing. Something that is interesting that we need to realize, Jesus talks more about heaven than hell. I mean, more about... I got that backwards. In the New Testament, he talks more about hell than heaven. And he talks more about the devil than he does angels. It would be good for us to pay attention. So the question goes on and says, can demons just taunt you? My husband has also had an experience where a demon had him by the throat and said he was going to kill him while he was sleeping. He said, Jesus, and it was gone. And then he prayed most of the night through scripture, not out of fear, but out of authority. So can demons taunt us? Well, sure they can. It's a form of oppression. But remember this, if we are seeing them, it has to either be by the Holy Spirit or it's by a demon spirit, because humans can't see in the spirit realm. If we are hearing them, it either has to be by the Holy Spirit or we have a demon spirit that's giving us the ability to do that. If they are touching us, pushing us, grabbing us, choking is very common. People will begin choking in the middle night. They'll feel something on them. They're choking. They can't say anything. Why is this happening? Because you have a demon in you. Because I can guarantee you the Holy Spirit doesn't do that. There's something in you. That's why they have the right to you. So you have to find what that is and deal with it. Could be generational sin, could be personal sin, could be whatever. Holy Spirit will show you. You got to deal with it. So the question ends with this. I ask because I come from a very traditional background where any of this discussion or experience would be denied. In other words, we're not going to talk about this. Never happened. Kind of a Jedi thing. This never happened and you all just forget about it. Typical religious response. And I was even told when I said I am in a battle, I was told that I did not have my armor on. That is why the enemy can be near me. I don't want to offend anybody, but that's a dumb response. Paul is using a Roman soldier's armor and a Roman soldier to typify our war with the spirit realm. The only way Roman soldiers armor did them any good is when they were in hand to hand combat. They were not only standing next to the enemy, they were engaged with the enemy. They were going to die or I was going to die. To say if you have your armor on, they can't come near you is taking that whole picture out of context. The reason you put your armor on is when they attack you, you've got some protection. They're not only going to come near you, they're going to smack around on you and you go back after them. So it's like, yeah, just we're not thinking this stuff through very well. And my guess is, you know, my guess is the person who said that has never cast out a demon in their life. So there again, you're getting advice from somebody who doesn't know. They closed it by saying, through the Holy Spirit and scripture, I learned the power of Jesus and how to fight battles with truth scripture. Good for you. You didn't lay down give up and die. Good for you. Okay? Are we done? We want to keep going. If you have to leave, feel free to do that. I know some have. That's okay. Number 14, how do you handle it when you know a person has a demon, but they don't know they have one? Kind of a repeat of an earlier question. You pray for them that they realize it or that it manifests. Number 15, what do you do when a person with a demon starts undermining or attacking you? Well, it falls under the category of persecution. So I would respond to it according to the scriptural rules of persecution that apply. So study persecution, how people handled it, what God said you're supposed to do, what Paul said you're supposed to do, the different apostles, and apply that. Because the reason they're persecuting you probably has nothing to do with them. Remember, we don't wrestle against flesh and blood. Well, that person, now it's not probably not that person. They got a demon and they're after you, the demon's after you. So you're going to have to handle it like persecution. Number 16, what is the most difficult part of deliverance for the person receiving it? Overall, my opinion, it's renewing the mind once the spirit is gone. Getting the spirit gone is the easiest thing to do in the world. Renewing the mind of how that demon taught the person to think can take years. Example, you had a spirit of poverty, you were raised in a family of poverty, you grew up in poverty, you were trained in poverty, you had a demon of poverty. Let's kick the demon out. All your thoughts will be poverty. They trained you on it. So you're going to think poverty, you're going to still make decisions, poverty. The demon's gone, but your whole mind is trained in poverty. Now you've got to renew the mind and come out of that. That is the most difficult part, because even though the demon's gone, the person still isn't free of poverty. They're living in it. Their mind has to now be renewed. So in my mind, overall the renewing of the mind is the most difficult. Getting the spirit out is usually the easiest. Number 17, someone said what constitutes a manifestation? We covered that in message number 15, March 14th. We covered that message 15 and outlined for casting out demons. Excuse me, what constitutes a manifestation? It's there, go back and check that and you'll have it. Should we be demon hunting or chasing looking for demons? Well, what does the scripture show you? Specifically after the death and resurrection of Jesus. Was Paul demon chasing? Was James or John these people demon chasing? No, do you know who they were chasing? God, with all their hearts, soul, mind and strength. If a demon popped up, they just did like the old whack-a-mole game. I'm going after God. They didn't run around trying to chase a demon out from behind a bush. It's just I'm serving God. You get in my way, I'll whack-a-mole you want. If we're confronted with a manifestation, well then deal with it. But move on, don't go demon chasing. If there's a demon involved, ask the Holy Spirit to show you. What is this? And there again, hearing the voice of the Spirit is paramount. Number 19, what about Christians needing to get rid of demons before they can overcome a certain sin? Like we'll cast out the demon of alcohol so they're no longer an alcoholic. We'll cast out the demon of adultery so they no longer go to the prostitute house. Can casting out a demon set a person free from sin? The second question they tie onto that is if sin is the core problem, why do demons need to go to live free? Well, casting out demons so people can live free of sin is a yes and no answer. So let me try to answer it quickly. In James chapter 1, 12 through 15, it says when we are drawn into sin, we are tempted and enticed by our own desires. There's desires in this fallen nature that demons watch us. They learn what's in the family line. They're familiar with our family line and they see what's our weakness and they will come alongside and try to enhance that. But they will never tempt you as something you don't have a desire for. It's a waste of their time. If you don't have a desire for it, they can try to hold it out in front of you all day long and you're not going to go for it. James 1 verse number 14, each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. So casting out a demon will not get rid of the sin. The sin is a separate issue from the demon. The key to the whole thing is repentance, James 4, 7. Submit yourself to God. Does God want you going to prostitute houses? No. Then repent of it. Take a stand against it. Ask God to work with that desire in the flesh and get you cleaned up and sanctified of it. The thing a demon does is he drives you. The Spirit leads us. Hey, come on, follow me. Demons go here. This is where you're going. And it's like a driving inside of you. And no matter how hard you fight it, not to go there, it just seems like you end up there because it's like you're driven to do it. That's demonic. The Holy Spirit doesn't do that. So casting demons out can help get rid of the driving. But if you cast a demon of adultery out and the person never deals with their desires, their sin, chances are good. In two, three months, they're going back in. The core is the sin. Yeah, demons can have an effect. And I've watched some of this stuff that lately has come online from the renewed movement of casting out demons. And I'm praying, Lord, help them start emphasizing this point. Because, you know, whatever the person is struggling with, the statement is made, well, you just come and we'll cast a demon out, and you'll be free of that. Or you'll be free of the demon. But whatever the sin is, you're going to have to deal with that issue. It's still with you. You go to the meeting, get the demon cast out. The sin issue that opened the door to the demon is still there. You're going to take that home with you if you don't get that under the blood and start taking a new approach to that. So I'm praying that they start emphasizing that, because that is huge. Sometimes demons go automatically when you confess your sin. Other times you need to resist them, kick them out. They can be very persistent, especially if you don't know your rights and authority. They'll just simply hang on to wear you down, you know. And it's like a white knuckling thing. And they'll wear you down, your will. In fact, remember when we were giving names, the favorite thing they like to attack in a person is their will. Their want to, their desire, their fortitude. They'll come against that and try to wear you down. To where it's like, what's the use of even trying? It's never going to work for me anyway. See, they got you. Once you quit the fight, they got you. And the fight comes out of the will. I'm choosing with my will to stand against this. But they'll just wear you down. A big one, smoking. Well, we'll cast out the spirit of nicotine and they'll be free of smoking. Hope so. I don't know why they got into it. Be good to check it out. Maybe it was just a nasty habit and there's no real sin there, whatever. But okay, now they're in bondage to its addictions. So there's some kind of demon there. So let's get rid of the addiction. Let's get rid of the demon, cast it out. And then from there on, they're white knuckling. I got to hang on. I can't smoke. I really want to smoke, but they're not free. That's not freedom. The demon's gone, but you're still not free. You're going to have to go back in and repent and submit and clean some things up to get free. This question came in right before the session. I have two questions for tonight. Does everyone have generational curses? Yes. Generational curses go back to Adam and Eve. We all have our little piece of that. I know you've said they strongly affect some more than others. Can someone be unaffected by them if they latched on to another sibling in the family, for example? Yes. And I don't know why or how this works this way, but you'll have one kid in the family turn out to be an alcoholic and the other three don't even drink. But if you trace it back, every generation has an alcoholic. So this is the generational spirit. Well, why did it hit them? I don't know. Does it have to do with genetic makeup? Does it have to do with wounds and lies that happen to them? Hurts? I don't know. But can it happen that you got generational curses? They will focus on one person. Absolutely. And different curses focus on different ones in the family. Everybody gets something. Some get more. And I have no explanation for it other than that's my experience. That's what I've seen. Second question. I know we shouldn't be casting demons out of other people's kids. What if anything do you suggest to do if you work with kids like in a daycare? And one child has anger issues and you can sense and see a demon flaring up in them. Okay. Number one question I have. Do you have the authority of the daycare? Are you a worker there or do you own it? Because if the owner, if you don't just work there and you're not the owner, you got to get the authority to do that from the owner. Because the owner is responsible for that child, not you. The contract the parent signed was with the owner, not you. You're a worker. Okay. So they gave authority over to the owner. So is the owner an agreement? Number two is the parent in agreement. Don't just cast it out because you could be doing a huge disservice to the child because if the parents are unsaved and you cast a spirit out of a child who has anger issues, what's going to keep that child clean? So that a few months later, they don't get re-inhabited when that thing wanders back around and takes seven other spirits worse than itself and goes back in that child. You might have done a huge disservice to that child. So my suggestion is without agreement of the people who are the authority over the child, leave it alone. Now if you all see the issue, you all agree something needs to be done and they say, does anybody know how to cast out a demon? I do. Go for it. Without that, I wouldn't touch it. This came in just this evening. I met a lady who does ghost tours. I am wondering if ghosts are demons and how to get rid of them. Yes, ghosts are demons and how you get rid of them is in the first booklet, Spiritual Warfare Basics. It's all covered right there. So grab that booklet or go back to it and you'll find it. Also, I want to know how to protect the children and the schools. Okay, so now listen. And this person is good here. They've got a little grasp on this. Do we have authority, okay? That's the key. Do we have authority over demonic activity in our children or grandchildren's schools and classrooms? I don't know. Go in there and try to teach them something one day. See if you have the authority to do it. Just drop by the principal's office on the way in and say, I'm going to teach math class today. My child's a freshman and if you could just point me to that class, I'll teach him today. What do you think he's going to say? That's the amount of authority you have over the school and the classroom. Zipple. Let's say give it to you, which is really chances are poor. Here is the here's the issue. When you enrolled your child into school, you gave the authority over to the school. For that part of the day. And thanks to our governor and our current legislature, we have given more and more and more authority away when we put them in the school. So we can't pray to change what's happening in the school because we have no authority over it. We... let me let me enlarge this. Well, can we pray over city demons or regional demons or the demons over the United States of America? We're going to we're going to pull them down. We're pulling down strongholds. And they'll quote second Corinthians chapter 10, which has nothing to do with demons, by the way. But our weapons are white are mighty to the pulling down of strongholds. Yeah, we'll read the rest of it. It has nothing to do with demons, but they'll apply that to... So we're going to go after the demons, the strong men over Washington, D.C. Okay, go back to the basic principles. We're going to go back to the demons over Princeton School, over Cambridge School. Go back to the basic principles. Why are those demons there? Why are they welcome there? Because of sin. Apparently the people in authority that we've put there want the sin to be there. Therefore we don't have the authority to take it away. Now the school board could do a lot. If they were all Christians, got on the same page and went after it. But they would really rile up the community. Because a lot of the teachers like cat litter and... I mean not teachers. There are certain parents that like cat litter in the corner of the bathroom, in case their child identifies as a cat that day. Can I lose you there? So we have no... Oh yeah, that happened. Oh yeah, that's happening right now. We'll talk about it later, bring you up to running speed. So we have no authority there. We gave the authority the way. Well how do we help our children? You're going to have to get them out from under that authority. That's the only way you can fix that. As long as the authority is evil and we're under that authority, it's evil if we can change the leadership, we can change the authority. If we can't change the leadership, the only way you deal with the authority is come out from underneath that authority. That's why some people are leaving the state of Minnesota. Because they refuse to be under the authority of what the government now, state government, has put into place as law. We're not going to submit to this. And there's families leaving saying, we're not taking a chance on this. We're out of here. So, I think that answers that question. Mary had a couple of things she wanted me to mention. She said, when you're dealing with demons, we can't let ourselves be afraid one ditch or arrogant, prideful the other ditch. It's not about us, it's about the person. Always keep that in mind. Well, I'm going to cast this demon out. I'm going to, it's about the person. So, don't get afraid and don't get arrogant. Just help the person. Prayer and fasting is used to renew our wine skin. So, if we have a bad attitude, do some prayer and fasting. Change that. People who are into casting out demons, but spend no time in the scripture at all. That doesn't work. Or one other thing she brought up. Watching scary movies, horror movies, but then we're going to cast out spirits of fear. Or whatever. See, there's a price to be paid that, and I have a message on this, I won't go to it now, but there's a price we pay to enter into what Jesus paid for. There are things we have to deal with to walk in that. It's as much as I'll say on that. So, I'll just list the topics to you that are going to be in the book. Won't cover them tonight. Demonic healing, demonic tongues, spiritual healers, operations that happen. I don't, I haven't heard of them happening in America, but other parts of the world, where they're claiming they're doing it under God's power, and if someone has an appendicitis problem or whatever, they will, with their hands, spiritual healers will just reach in, separate the skin, and go in and either remove the organ, or massage the organ, do a chant over the organ, fix the organ, whatever, and take their hands back out and close the skin back up. And is spiritual healing, that kind of thing? Is that of God? Is that demonic? Where is that? That's a topic that will be covered. After spiritual warfare, deliverance, does the atmosphere need to be cleared? We'll talk about that. When you're doing deliverance, it must be about the person getting free. Not about us, our reputation. I'm kind of going off Mary's point there. It's not about us, about our reputation, about our frustration, or whatever. It's about the person. The need for prayer and fasting. I'm going to cough here in a second. We're going to talk a little bit more of how to recognize a demon, whether it's in a person, and the manifestation is in a person. We're going to talk about that a little more in the book. Or in general life. We talked a bit about how demons talk to you, your thoughts. Well, there's other ways to tell if a demon is around. You can feel them, their presence, poltergeist experiences. There's a number of things we'll cover under that topic. And we will also, I'm not going to take the time to do it here, because it's going to take too long. We're also going to deal with mental illnesses and deliverance. When someone's mentally ill, how do we handle them in the realm of deliverance? Because undoubtedly there's demons there, when there's mental illness or weakness. We'll deal with that, and that's not going to be covered tonight, because I don't want to open a can halfway and cause problems. So I'm done. Are there any, wait a second, there might have been one that came in on my phone. Let me check. Yep, I see one. I am getting into the word more, typically a chapter day, and I'm getting into worship more and spending more time with the Lord. Is there anything more I can do to amplify my listening skills with the Holy Spirit? Those things are absolutely excellent. The main thing you can do you're missing. Talk to Him, continually. Talk to the Holy Spirit. Like the Scripture calls Him our Comforter, our Counselor. The Greek word is paraclete, which means someone called alongside to comfort and counsel you. There is, speak to Him like a living entity who's with you 24-7, right there. Talk to Him all the time about everything. And as you do that, as time goes on, you'll start recognizing. He'll be talking back, but to begin with, we don't recognize it. You'll begin recognizing His voice. Jesus said, my sheep know my voice. Strangers' voice, they will not follow because they know my voice. Well, now on earth, it's the Holy Spirit who speaks to us. So you will begin recognizing His voice. To begin with, it can be kind of fuzzy because there's going to be all kinds of... It's like the old radios that you had a dial in. And you get two, three channels at the same time, especially after sunset. You know, Chicago has a 50,000-watt thing, and you've got the local yokel here. It's got a thousand-watt thing, and you're trying to get on the right frequency to hear that channel. That's kind of a comparison. To begin with, you're going to hear all kinds of stuff. But the more you talk to Him and interact with Him and ask Him to teach you and ask Him to help you, it will clear up. And you'll begin hearing a much, much clearer. But it's a daily. You just go after it and you do it day after day, month after month, year after year. And as the years go by, you'll be amazed at how well you get to hear. Okay, do we have any questions other than that, or are we done? Okay, we have couple three. Can I have a mic runner here? Thank you. Should be on, I think. I would just like clarity on the school. We have grandchildren in the school. They're also believers, and they pray for their school. And, you know, they want to be salt and light. Were you saying they have absolutely no power there in their prayers because of the authority over there? And then what would be the difference between me going into a workplace that's not holy and bringing the light of the gospel or the military, being in the military and bringing, you know, as a believer because the whole world is kind of underneath the rule of the prince and power of darkness. Yeah, yeah. So wouldn't they have authority in the schools? When did Christian teacher have authority in the school? Okay, I'm going to try to answer that best I can. Thank you. Very good question. We'll try to clarify. We are called to be salt and light. The church is called to be the Ecclesia. The Ecclesia, if you study that and if you go through the Covenant Partner Series, I think it's the first or second message we talk about. The Ecclesia in the government of that time was a group of people that were called out to rule the nation. It's the only place the word is used in connection with anything in scripture and it's applied to the church. If the church were doing its job, we would be the school board. We are called out to rule and reign. If the church were doing its job, we would be the county commissioners. It would be all Christians. We'd be in there or we'd have enough Christians in there that we can call righteousness, righteousness. When we don't have the authority position, we're still called to be influencers. Salt and light. That's what salt and light does it. It throws light on the subject. It preserves it. It throws flavoring to it. We still are called to be influencers. But if the superintendent... I'm coming up with a hypothetical here. If the superintendent in the Cambridge school would decide to bring in transgender cross-dressing guys who are acting like women and have them teach the third grade class, read a story to them, unless we rally the ecclesia and they rise up and have enough authority to make him change his mind, you can pray about that for months and he's still going to bring them in. It's still going to happen. Now, you can keep your children home that day, but he's still going to do it. We don't have the authority to stop what an ungodly person wants to do. But as the church, we are supposed to be the decision makers not just in this building in the world. That was God's desire. His design is that we as Christians would be so influential, we would turn the whole world to Christ. But we've given those authority places away as the church is the problem. So, we can pray for the school, but you're not going to pull the demon out of that school until those who are in authority agree with you and they help you pull them out. We can influence in that school. And I'm not saying pull all your kids out of school. You've got to follow the spirit on that. That's between you and God or your children. You know, if you're a grandchildren, it's your children's option there. Between them and God, they're going to have to hear the spirit. Some will pull them out. The Holy Spirit will say pull them out. Others will say, no, keep them in there. Salt and light does no good if it's not in the darkness. If it's not in a position where it can preserve. So, God will keep a certain realm of people in there active to influence. So, it depends upon what we're praying for. So, I'm going to try to finish my answer. If we're praying, Lord, help me be a light. Help me show them truth. Help our grandchildren to be able to take a stand for righteousness, take a stand for you, and be an influence to everybody around, including their teachers, including the superintendent, including everybody. Absolutely, we can pray for that. Help my children go in there and stop this cross-dresser from coming in the school next week Wednesday. You're wasting your prayer. Because they're basically, if your child goes to the teacher and says, miss me? I don't want that person to come next week Wednesday. The teacher's going to say, I can't do anything about it. So again, it's we have authority over us. We have authority over our influence, no matter where we are. The only thing that gives me authority over a congregation is their willingness to submit to my authority. Otherwise, I have none. Let's take it a step further. The only thing that gives the state authority over us is our willingness to submit to it. And that's the war that's brewing right now, not only in this state, but in this nation. Because there's people who are saying, I'm not leaving the United States, but we're not doing this. And we're having resistance rise up. And that's exactly what we need. It's what has to happen. So if somebody takes that out of context and says, Pastor Byrne said, we should all join the militia and fight the government. Never said any such thing. But I do have to serve God before I serve them. That's my point. Did that answer your question? Kind of, okay. We can try to finish later, whatever other details I didn't get covered. They need to pray for revival and they can influence for revival and they can get kids saved. And they can get kids healed. All kinds of things can happen. They can help their friends not make a bad decision by influencing on them. But the actual authority over the classroom or over the school, unless we're in the position that we should be, and that's what the Ecclesia is called to do, unless we've done that, we're not going to have much authority. They're not going to listen to me. Unless there can be, you know, numbers speak. Because these people are all hired or elected. And if they make a bad decision and 10,000 people show up at the school saying we're not doing this, chances are good. The authority of that 10,000 people will reverse. They'll change their mind. That's the only way we can stop that. Or we have to vote people in that don't make the bad decisions. All right. Next. Up there. Going back to the discussion on authority. I have an opinion, and I'm curious on your feedback on it. Does authority follow the money? If I rent an apartment, rent a hotel room, rent a car, do I have authority in that place over that thing while I am paying for it? To a degree, yes, absolutely. Because you bought, like for instance, some hotel room. There's been motel rooms we went to that we went into and it's like, I don't know what happened here in the last week or two, but this is nasty. You know, I don't know what's kind of sin. It took place in here. But those spirits are still lingering. And on the basis of we paid for that space for the night, we now have jurisdiction over it. What's happening in there? We'll kick them out. Do we have the right to redecorate by morning? Repaint, put new curtains up? Probably not. Because we didn't buy the walls, we bought the space. So authority, yes, we do have authority by purchasing to a degree. But again, it's just, it's just step back and, and you know, I use the word common sense. It's actually in proverbs, it's wisdom. Just step back and use some wisdom. Look at the big picture. If it applies to one point, it has to apply to everything. So just step back and say, well, what would give me authority? Well, it would not give me authority and apply to such. But yeah, to answer your question, absolutely, we can buy authority in certain ways. You want to see the flip side of that? That's bad. Happens in our government all the time. People pay off people to make certain decisions in their favor. What did they do? They bought authority. And I'm going to step out here and make a statement that I think is quite accurate, but probably not popular. Joe and Hunter Biden exhibit number one. They were bought off. I mean, they've got the hard evidence now. They've been bought off by the Chinese government and other governments for years. And so they bought authority. So yeah, it can be done good or bad. Anybody else? Okay. Okay. So back to the smiling demon of deception. I just have a quick question, more like clarification. So when that manifests and someone's smiling and they shouldn't be smiling, I feel like there's a couple of people in my life that this manifests often. When it does manifest, this is what my thought is, is it's not really my place to deal with it unless the Holy Spirit leads you to do it. But it manifests often. With some people. And it makes you uncomfortable, right? You're like, this is where you're smiling. It's creepy. It's creepy. So that was my kind of clarification because I'm like, well, I see it often. And yeah, you can't just be like, you have a demon. Anyway, so... And then my second question is anger. Okay, before you go to that one, since it's not tied with the first one, let me throw a thought in behind the smiling one. What do you do with it when people are doing that to you? I'm not putting you in the spot. I'm just asking the question so I can throw some thoughts in. It goes back again to... Yeah. Am I supposed to... You ask God. Ask the Holy Spirit. Am I supposed to do anything about this? Am I supposed to do anything about this now? Or am I just supposed to recognize it and pray for it? Because sometimes he shows us things that we're not supposed to do a thing about. And that's a lesson to learn in hearing God's voice. Just because he showed you something doesn't mean you deal with it on the spot because he didn't tell you how to deal with it. For me, when I have the smiling demon talking to me, I just make note they're hiding something. There's a deception here. This is not the whole truth. So are you saying that that manifestation is showing that they are not giving the full truth in that moment? They're hiding something. It's deception. Now, depending upon how badly they are off they are, or how much they actually live in lies, they might be smiling all day long because their whole life is a lie. Well, that's sad. Well, it is, but... And it is creepy. It is creepy. Yeah, the smile totally contradicts what the emotion of the moment should be. And it just means that they're hiding things. Could be about the thing you're talking about, could be about whatever, but there's a spirit of deception there. So don't trust it. Okay, now go to the angry one. Question. So I've had this question for a while. It's like, how right to be, you're allowed to be angry but not to sin. And in my brain that goes to, well, we don't throw things, we don't punch people, that typical stuff. But then I'm like, Jesus be flipping tables. And I don't know, if my kids started flipping tables, I'd be like, that's rage. So you know what he mean? But, but he didn't sin. So obviously there was some type of righteous situation happening there. And I can't wrap my brain around it. And I was wondering if you had any thoughts. Okay. I do have thoughts. Give me just a second to my walking concordance tonight is not working very well. And I don't know where that scripture is. So let me see if I can find it. So it's, um... Do you know where it's at? Yeah, so it's John two, oh no, three. I have John 2.17 coming up. Let's see if that's it. Two or three. Oop. Somewhere, a minute. Yeah. So let's read it real briefly. It's John chapter two. Verse number... Starts around verse number 15. Two. Jesus cleanses the temple. Starts at verse 13. Verse 14. He found people selling oxen and sheep and doves and money changers doing business. So now to understand what that's about, you got to go back and study the culture of that. They were ripping people off. Okay. Well, hold on to that question until I answer the first one. Okay. So he had made a whip of cords. He drove them all out of the temple with the sheep and the oxen and poured out changers money and overturned the tables. And he said to those who sold doves, take these things away, do not make my father's house a house of merchandise. Then his disciples remembered that it was written, zeal for your house has eaten me up. So the Jews answered and said to him, what sign do you show that you have the authority to do these things? Verse 17. The zeal of your house has eaten me up. That's New King James. The NIV says zeal for your house will consume me. The amplified says, his disciples remember that it is written in the Holy Scriptures, zeal, the fervor of love for your house will eat me up. I will be consumed with jealousy for the honor of your house. The Young's literal translation says, the zeal of thy house did eat me up. So here's the interesting part. People attribute that action to Jesus being angry. It doesn't say any place he was angry. Notice that? He was, the amplified kind of says it the best, the zeal or the fervor of love for your house will eat me up. I will be consumed with jealousy for the honor of your house. Did he want it to stop? Yes, I'm sure he was angry. He wanted this to stop. That was his father's house. He was not happy about this. But the thing that caused him to throw the tables was not his anger. It was his love for what that house was supposed to be. And it was being polluted and desecrated. And his love for his father's house caused him to... That's what the Scripture says. Yeah. So it would be more of the position of his heart was filled with compassion leading then to action filled with love and wanting to bring it back to its wholly original state. I don't know if I'd use the word compassion there. Not compassion. Okay. Love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength, the desire to be obedient to the Father. And to be the Father's representative, the Lamb on earth who is going to bring salvation and to stand there and watch his father's house be destroyed. The love for his father to see that house be obedient to the Father's will drove him to saying, we ain't doing this. And then right away the scribes and Pharisees, well you have no authority to do that. Yeah. Because it always comes back to authority, always. So I wouldn't call it an anger issue. I'd call it a hot fervor of love zeal issue because that's what the Scripture calls it. Okay. Anybody else got anything? Are we done? Wait, so... Well, here's in my brain, so... How can you have a hot fervor and a love without being angry? No, no, no. No, no? No, I fully understand that one. No, I'm not fully. Probably this much. But I, I grasp... You got the concept. The concept. Yep. But to be angry and sin not, then what's the righteous way to then be angry? Excellent question. Because I feel like I don't know and I need to know. The righteous way to be angry is don't enter into any kind of sin to express your anger. Breaking windows, throwing pots and pans, cursing at people, yelling at people. Anything that is not like God's character, don't enter into that. And in your anger, don't sin. So express your anger in a mature, functional, adult way, when we all have struggled with that. Probably many times, maybe we still do. We have to learn how to say no and communicate without getting dysfunctional or operating in sin. Our voice has a right to be heard. And that's where boundaries come up. If I'm trying to express myself to you about something that I'm angry with you about, I want you to stop. And you just plain, I ain't listening to you, I want nothing to do with you. If I really love you, well then what does Scripture say I do next? Take somebody with me. Matthew 15, I get somebody with me and let's go talk to her. She's not listening to me. I'm not saying this right. Somehow she's not connecting. If that doesn't work, well then we get some representatives from the board. And we sit down and we try to deal with this. We try to fix this. See that's the adult way, a mature way of handling anger. And if it's not resolvable then, well then Jesus says, well then just separate. Agree to disagree. They go someplace else. You do something different just back away. But that takes a lot of self-discipline. It's just much easier to scream and yell and talk to other people. About how bad they are. Because we're angry. This might be stupid in my opinion. It's kind of a dumb question but I just need it to be said to me. So then when you're confronting someone and you're remaining calm. Telling them the truth but not in love would then be responding in some type of sin, correct? Truth can be really brutal. Yes it can. Doesn't make it wrong. But it can be really brutal. It's always good to try and it's hard to do this when you're angry. But it's always good to try to put yourself in their place and say if I say this to them, the way I'm planning to say this to them, what is that going to make them feel like? Usually we don't slow down enough to do that. We just speak our mind. They need to hear this, I'm going to tell them. And as a result, we fall all over our tongue. My mind's going in a number of different directions on examples and we're 10 o'clock already. It's okay. Let me just say that to speak the truth in love is going to require empathy. For the person. Put yourself in their place on what you just said and how you said it. To not speak the truth and just speak love, you're going to lie to them. I love them so much. I don't want to hurt their feelings. I'm just going to tell them what they want to hear. Don't do that. Has to be truth with love. And it's nice if you have a good relationship with them, but if you don't and God says you got to deal with this, well then you got to deal with it, whether you have a relationship or not. So anybody else? Well, thank you so much. We've reached the end. Tonight's been three hours. We had, I think last class was about the same. We've covered a lot. There will be more topics covered in the book, but we're done for this round. So thank you. Thank you. Thank you. It makes it much easier to teach this class when people actually show up. So thank you. And thank you for those of you who watched online. Be blessed. Have an awesome night.
