There's something we're going to try. And this Sunday is the first Sunday we're going to try it. And who better than to pick on than one of the board members? And it's this. We want to see if God's in this. Having different people take five, ten minutes and share a principle that God has taught them, share something that God is asking them to share, share something that God is leading them into. And Matt happens to be the first one this morning. And what he is going to just touch on goes perfectly with where the service is going. So we better let him share. So I won't take all five minutes so we can get onto the service. But it's amazing how God works all these things together. Because I was debating which way to take what I felt the principle was. And then we had this morning and prayer and the word that Felicia had. And I've been going through the life of Saul and David actually. And we all know the famous scriptures with David killed Goliath, man after God's own heart in the story of the Sheba. And the thing that he really highlighted to me was, one, don't disqualify yourself because of sin when you have God that's forgiving you. Because when you look at the love that God has for us and how he wants us to do what we're talking about. Be friends with him, call him friend, come to him. That alone is enough, right? No matter what's behind us, that's what it is. And then the last part of it, when you look at even what David did. After Bethsheba gave birth, child died after seven days, David was mourning. The first thing David did was after he was done fasting, he cleaned himself up. He didn't go to Bethsheba, he went and worshiped God. He spent time with the Lord, he sought him, and then he went to his wife. So in all of that you see the principle of God. David was after God's own heart, famous scripture. But the revelation of what that is and what that means for us to love on him and him vice versa to us.
