And this week, I was coming before the Lord and 00:09.160 --> 00:16.000 I was asking God, what did He want us to pray about? Whether it was prayer of intercession or prayer of praise 00:23.040 --> 00:31.100 or a prayer of tears, maybe. And so I wasn't getting anything. I was like, Lord, it's getting 00:31.100 --> 00:36.460 closer and I was kind of getting nervous. But it's like the Lord to be the 11th hour, right? 00:36.900 --> 00:44.860 To fully be dependent on Him, to cling on Him. And so He started, in our conversation with 00:44.860 --> 00:52.420 the Lord, He started sharing with me everything that we've been learning this year. From 00:52.420 --> 01:00.320 open heavens to now. And I was just starting to think about all of these things that the Lord 01:00.320 --> 01:07.700 has been sharing with us, with His bride, about things that He wants, that He will do and 01:07.700 --> 01:15.900 things He wants us to turn our hearts to, things He wants to deal within us, right? And 01:15.900 --> 01:23.940 when we come to a Sunday service, it's so powerful and the message is so good. And then we leave 01:23.940 --> 01:30.520 and we kind of leave on this euphoric feeling, which is a godly feeling. But sometimes it 01:30.520 --> 01:34.740 can trickle away and we kind of forget about it as the week goes by, because again, we go 01:34.740 --> 01:43.680 back to our daily lives. And something that I have been asking the Lord lately to help me 01:43.680 --> 01:50.440 is to remember the messages and to start praying them out over myself, over my family, over my 01:50.440 --> 01:58.040 husband. And I think sometimes we forget that. We hear a good message, a message that cuts us 01:58.040 --> 02:04.840 to the heart. And then the week goes by and we just get distracted. And so as I'm 02:04.840 --> 02:11.440 conversing with the Lord on this, He started telling, showing me everything that we've 02:11.440 --> 02:16.980 been learning and He's like, why don't you pray that over yourself? And so I've been doing that. 02:17.460 --> 02:22.220 And as I was conversing with Him towards the end, He's like, well, this is what I want 02:22.220 --> 02:27.180 you to do. This is what I want you to bring to the people. I want you guys to start praying 02:27.920 --> 02:34.000 everything we've learned, which is good meat, right? It's not milk, it's meat. But we need 02:34.000 --> 02:39.140 to start praying it over ourselves and over our congregation. Now we can, we should be 02:39.140 --> 02:44.440 doing that at home in intimacy, but there's something when we come together as corporate, 02:44.820 --> 02:51.260 as a family, that not only are we praying it over ourselves, over our local body, 02:51.800 --> 02:55.700 we can actually go up next to the person, if we feel led, put our hand on them and pray this 02:55.700 --> 03:01.260 over them too. And so that kind of, I would say, kind of started off, launched 04:25.960 --> 04:32.340 off our year. And everything that we talk about after all these sermons that were spoken, they 04:32.340 --> 04:39.000 actually click into death to self, which is really cool. The next one, Pastor Verne talked about 04:39.000 --> 04:47.160 the shift, and that's when Pastor Igor and I became members or became blessed as pastors 04:47.160 --> 04:53.680 here at Word of Life. And so does anyone remember what the shift message was about? 04:53.680 --> 04:58.560 It was, it was right in the beginning of the year, so it was a couple of months back. There was another message that clicks right into that. 05:45.570 --> 05:49.970 It was pretty much the same thing from a different perspective. It was Anthony Leong, 05:50.130 --> 05:56.170 he spoke about dead men walking, and he talked about death to self there, just in a different 05:56.170 --> 06:02.290 perspective, which is really cool. That, he preached March 9th. Pastor Verne spoke January 06:02.290 --> 06:12.590 19th. Igor, Pastor Igor spoke on loneliness, January 26th. Do you guys, I mean the name 06:12.590 --> 06:17.110 is in the title, but what did he, what's one thing you remember that Pastor Igor spoke about? 06:17.290 --> 06:28.090 Loneliness. What? Humility, yes, yes. So, it's leading a life of loneliness, just like how Jesus 06:28.090 --> 06:34.310 led a life of loneliness. He is our prime example. You know, the God who was there, 06:34.710 --> 06:41.190 who spoke to, visited Abraham, he was the one that spoke things into being, he was there 06:41.190 --> 06:49.370 when man was first created in his image, and he came to earth, and he had the ability to be offended, 06:49.730 --> 06:54.330 he had the ability to call on all the power, because he had the power within him. And yet, 06:54.350 --> 07:00.530 he chose the lowly road. He chose to be humiliated, accused, to be trade. So, 07:00.850 --> 07:07.270 it was about loneliness. It was prioritizing private intimacy with God, over seeking public 07:07.270 --> 07:13.330 recognition. And then that clicks into death to self, because what does our flesh want to do? I mean, like the Lord 07:18.710 --> 07:23.010 has blessed me so abundantly with such a beautiful voice. Our flesh wants to come out. We want 07:23.010 --> 07:29.190 to share with people. And that can also be, it can cross the line from actually wanting to 07:29.190 --> 07:35.250 share who God is to wanting to share who I am. And they look very similar. And if we're 07:35.250 --> 07:41.850 not attentive, if we're not diligent, we can cross those so easily. He also talked about that 07:41.850 --> 07:48.830 loneliness is birthed from death to self, right? Okay, then Pastor Verne spoke about unity. It 07:48.830 --> 07:59.970 was February 2nd. Do you guys remember anything about that message? Anyone? I know. This is 07:59.970 --> 08:10.310 when our flesh is weak and our spirit is willing, right? Now being offended, that's coming. Yeah, 08:10.570 --> 08:16.950 a little bit. So I'm going to talk about unity amidst change and vulnerability to the division in the 08:16.950 --> 08:24.970 church, right? Because now we just spoke about the shift, how there's a generational shift, 08:25.070 --> 08:29.630 right? And so now Pastor Verne talked about, hey, there's going to be a lot of change. I 08:30.370 --> 08:35.950 Pastor Igor and I are now a part of the team. That's already a big change. There's certain things 08:35.950 --> 08:40.650 that are allocated. That's a big change. And so with those change, we have to be diligent, 08:40.850 --> 08:47.270 sober, and aware that we don't allow offense to come in, that we don't allow disunity 08:47.270 --> 08:53.110 within each other, that we move with the changes. And that was all tied into that 09:04.970 --> 09:10.250 unity message. The next one was February 16th. It was Anthony. He talked about the Jezebel 09:10.250 --> 09:16.030 spirit. Does anyone remember anything from that message other than that it was about the Jezebel 09:16.030 --> 09:32.780 spirit? Anyone? No? What? What did you say? No? You don't want to speak? Well, it'd be easier 09:32.780 --> 09:40.980 if I come up with a mic. So the Jezebel spirit is free from the spirit. It's to be free from 09:40.980 --> 09:45.440 the spirit influencing or driving people to cause chaos or discord in the church. 09:46.400 --> 09:52.300 It's being attentive to God's, the spirit of God's and the revelation of true interpretation of the 09:52.300 --> 09:56.140 Jezebel spirit. And I just claim in everything, oh, that's the Jezebel spirit. That's the Jezebel 09:56.140 --> 10:02.000 spirit. Because if you've noticed, if you listen to any other churches, any other sermons, 10:02.180 --> 10:06.400 anything, you know, those clips, the shorts that come up, I feel like Jezebel spirit's been, 10:06.600 --> 10:11.540 it's like the topic to talk about. I feel like the revelation has come up. The Lord has brought 10:11.540 --> 10:16.740 it alive in the church. He's given us information about it. And now everyone is speaking about it. 10:17.060 --> 10:23.800 And it's good because unified, the spirit's moving. But at the same time, we as man like to take things 10:23.800 --> 10:28.640 and be like, oh, look, I'm talking about the Jezebel spirit. So we can't just slap 10:28.640 --> 10:33.160 on Jezebel spirit on everything. We have to be attentive to, okay, is this the Jezebel spirit? 10:33.600 --> 10:37.000 You know, it's not just what's popular right now. So it's the courage and boldness bound up by humility to rise up 11:06.260 --> 11:12.260 to the call of God and women's lives, right? And 11:23.380 --> 11:28.540 some of those is what I wrote down. So pretty much that's the gist of that one. The next one, 11:29.180 --> 11:35.840 Pastor Brad Breedy. He talked on March 16th about being all in. Does anyone remember 11:36.680 --> 11:39.860 tidbit about that one? Anything that stood out to you about that message? 11:42.160 --> 11:46.640 How committed he was, yes. And it's amazing he was so committed. 11:49.080 --> 11:53.220 There we go. He got into debt right now. I'm not saying that that was a right choice. 11:53.560 --> 11:56.820 He could probably could have went around in a different way. But that's how committed 11:56.820 --> 12:04.640 he was. And I find that's so amazing. And so he was talking about being complete commitment 12:04.640 --> 12:11.660 and self-sacrifice in serving God's mission or God's vision. And to let go of selfish desires, 12:12.000 --> 12:16.960 opinions, and distractions in order to fully follow God's plan and purpose. 12:17.880 --> 12:25.260 Then next, Pastor Igor spoke about offense. And this was three different Sundays he spoke. 12:25.260 --> 12:31.800 It was March 23rd, March 30th, and April 13th. Anything anyone remember about that one? 12:32.100 --> 12:39.940 Or anything that stood out in that message? Yes, I agree. Gave a lot of 12:42.040 --> 12:48.900 exposure down to even to the littlest detail, I think. Because offense, it's a word that we've 12:48.900 --> 12:54.840 been using for a while as like as a human race, right? But to have understanding how it connects 12:54.840 --> 12:59.380 to the spiritual is really important. And I think that's what Pastor Igor really opened up. 13:00.400 --> 13:06.480 So not to be distracted by disputes or personal ambitions, offense leads to stumbling and 13:06.480 --> 13:15.020 rebellion and how it blinds us to God's will. It's an opportunity to, the opportunity to be 13:15.020 --> 13:24.660 offended is heightened when we are in situations... I don't remember, do you remember? It's heightened 13:24.660 --> 13:33.800 when we are in what? In the opportunities to get offended. Offense is always present, 13:34.120 --> 13:42.040 but we are choosing not to be offended is key, right? We watch how to battle offense, right? 13:42.040 --> 13:47.420 Or how do we get rid of it? We watch and pray, we reconcile, we communicate, we recognize each 13:47.420 --> 13:53.300 other's lanes, we serve, we love, we bless another, and we forgive. And it's interesting, 13:54.360 --> 13:58.560 this reminded me of one of the covenant partner messages that Pastor Verne 13:58.560 --> 14:08.760 preached. It was Isaiah 54. And it was about the barren woman. And he was saying to this 14:08.760 --> 14:18.520 and enlarge, stretch the tent. And it coincides with offense because it might be barren. We might 14:18.520 --> 14:23.260 not see the promises that God has given us. All the babies that Pastor Mary was talking about, 14:23.680 --> 14:28.280 we're building this building and it's like, you know, we're filling out our church, but not to the 14:28.280 --> 14:33.540 capacity of what we're building. But it's having that faith that coincides with offense of not 14:33.540 --> 14:38.160 being offended of what people are saying about the promises that God has given this house. 14:38.760 --> 14:43.040 But at the same time, coinciding with Pastor Igor's faith message 14:43.040 --> 14:48.440 about having faith standing on those promises and how Pastor Verne was preaching, 14:49.160 --> 14:55.080 or when he shared that message in Isaiah 54, of standing on the promises not to be wavered in them. 14:56.160 --> 15:01.620 Then April 20th, Pastor Verne spoke on Resurrection Sunday about new life. 15:01.780 --> 15:04.660 Does anyone remember anything that stood out about new life? 15:08.240 --> 15:09.180 Don't be shy. 15:11.080 --> 15:18.220 Hey, if I have to stand up here and do this, you gotta, you gotta speak out too. 15:19.760 --> 15:25.580 It's not one way. There's conversations that have to happen. You can't just be like, 16:21.340 --> 16:25.360 oh, we should be friends and then don't talk to them for like three weeks. That doesn't 16:25.360 --> 16:30.820 happen. That's not how relationships are built. So it's the basis. It's the foundation. It's 16:30.820 --> 16:35.340 the simplicity of just getting to know who God is after you come and become a believer. 16:35.700 --> 16:41.140 Because the more we talk to him, the more we see the reason of a savior, right? When you don't spend 16:41.140 --> 16:45.900 time with him, you're like, yeah, he's an accessory. He's nice to my life. I go to church. But when 16:45.900 --> 16:51.240 you conversate with the Lord, you talk to him more and more, you see your flesh, you see your 16:51.240 --> 16:56.540 humaneness, you see your need for a savior. And that's when it's like, oh, Lord, I need you 16:56.540 --> 17:04.500 more and you become more clingy and dependent on the Lord. And then works, like you said, 17:04.820 --> 17:11.620 works should naturally flow from belief. It's not, I work to earn my salvation. And I feel 17:11.620 --> 17:17.720 like that phrase, we've heard it so often throughout our years of life that it's just become one 17:17.720 --> 17:28.620 of those, like, desensitized to that phrase of understanding, I know what that means. But 17:28.620 --> 17:36.760 because we hear it so often, it's like, okay, but what does it really mean? So, not working 17:36.760 --> 17:43.640 for our salvation is important because it should flow naturally out of a relationship, right? 17:44.200 --> 17:51.540 I don't love Igor. I don't force myself to love Pastor Igor. It flows, it flows naturally. Does anyone remember something from that message that stood out April 27th? 18:36.880 --> 18:43.040 Well, it's like Pastor Vern, I don't know, I don't have a good, I'm rebuking that, 18:43.420 --> 18:46.680 may the Lord rebuke that, but I don't have the greatest memory, but you were just speaking 18:46.680 --> 18:51.400 something about how we need to, I think it was a new life, where we were, we need to 18:52.280 --> 18:57.520 like read it and then speak it and then we need to do it and like then you can memorize it. 18:57.880 --> 19:03.420 Yeah. And I feel like, man, that's a lot of work, but like it's true. I mean, if you really 19:03.420 --> 19:09.540 think about it, we get a message every Sunday. We only have six days to really intake it 19:09.540 --> 19:18.220 before we get fresh meat again, right? But Igor spoke about faith, Pastor Igor spoke about faith, 19:18.740 --> 19:24.720 and it was dependency on the Holy Spirit, right? And it was faith for things promised when no 19:24.720 --> 19:30.140 evidence is shown. And that kind of goes back to one of the covenant partner messages Isaiah 54 19:30.140 --> 19:37.260 about the barren woman. He says, rejoice, sing. You know, he actually says, sing and shout 19:37.260 --> 19:45.220 for joy. In other words, rejoice, have triumph feelings, have triumph knowledge that these 19:45.220 --> 19:50.460 things will come to pass. Even though you're barren, these things will come. There will be babies. 19:50.940 --> 19:57.560 There will be expanse. There will be a stretching of the tent that will happen. And it ties to 19:57.560 --> 20:02.160 Igor's message of faith. Are we clinging to the Lord in the faith? Are we standing on those 20:02.160 --> 20:08.020 promises? Or are we just talking the talk and in our mind and in our hearts is something else, right? 20:10.020 --> 20:16.060 So it's a lot of things to pray about. We got a good amount of time right here. So what I want 20:16.060 --> 20:20.720 us to do is I'm going to lead us into prayer, and I'm going to pray over these things specifically. 20:21.280 --> 20:26.040 And I would like for you guys to come into agreement in your hearts and in your minds, 20:26.140 --> 20:31.600 right? Because we can be distracted in our minds, even though our heart is desiring to speak 20:31.600 --> 20:36.600 and to speak things out. Sometimes our mind can get distracted. So we're going to start with some worship 20:44.360 --> 20:50.120 and praying and just calling out on the name of Jesus, welcoming His presence here, 20:51.580 --> 20:56.960 just creating in a realm that starts to be pleasing to Him so that He comes. And then 20:56.960 --> 21:04.980 when He comes, then we start, okay, Lord, you spoke this to us. Make it happen in our lives. 21:05.100 --> 21:09.420 We might have dropped the ball here or there. We might have not thought it was a great word 21:09.420 --> 21:14.160 that you spoke to us, but breezed right through it. Lord, make these things set in our hearts, 21:14.300 --> 21:20.940 okay? When there's a barrier where you don't want to cross, it's harder. You feel like 21:45.460 --> 21:51.900 you have to tug, but it's, that's not how it is with the Lord, right?
