Here's the why. I believe, and you guys have probably heard me 19:04.730 --> 19:09.710 say this before, if you've been to this church for some time, and you've been here since my 19:09.710 --> 19:17.230 wife and I have come. I believe that lowliness of mind, and you'll understand why I believe 19:17.230 --> 19:23.230 that as the series go, I believe that lowliness of mind is actually the blueprint of the end 19:23.230 --> 19:31.170 time revival. I do believe that. I believe that a church that is low will actually understand 19:31.750 --> 19:37.990 that that is the blueprint to the great outpour that we are all anticipating, waiting for, 19:38.310 --> 19:43.990 praying for on and so forth. Because if you actually pay attention to the previous moves 19:43.990 --> 19:48.310 of God, whether you read them in the scriptures, you know, the early church, whether you 19:48.310 --> 19:54.270 read them just through church history, you will actually see this pattern of where lowliness 19:54.270 --> 20:00.330 of mind precedes the outpour. There's actually a saying, and I didn't know this, but as 20:00.330 --> 20:04.930 I was studying it, I began to see it in different places. Mark Anderson, how many of 20:04.930 --> 20:09.530 you know Mark Anderson? So, he's familiar to this house. Mark Anderson wrote a book, 20:09.890 --> 20:15.790 I believe it's called Humility. And in his book, he wrote it in a different way. 20:15.790 --> 20:21.450 He used, I should say, different verbiage, but it's in the same context where he writes, 20:21.550 --> 20:27.570 and he says that humility literally precedes the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. So lowliness 20:27.570 --> 20:32.550 of mind is more than just humility. And we'll see how much time is for me or against me 20:32.550 --> 20:37.610 today. I'll show you that lowliness of mind is more than just humility. So I believe 20:37.610 --> 20:42.590 that lowliness of mind is literally the blueprint. Now, when I say blueprint, think 20:42.590 --> 20:48.690 of it this way. It's the actual physical paper, and everything that's within it 20:48.690 --> 20:54.110 describes how to build the house. Does that make sense? So lowliness of mind is 20:54.110 --> 20:58.350 that blueprint that we're looking at, and everything that's within lowliness of 20:58.350 --> 21:03.010 mind is literally, it gives us the understanding, the instructions, the 21:03.010 --> 21:07.010 characteristic, the principles, different things, and even the house of the 21:07.010 --> 21:11.470 whole... of how the outpouring is to be. Now, is there some details there 21:11.470 --> 21:16.690 that are still a mystery? Most definitely there is. You know, when I... when I think 21:16.690 --> 21:20.050 about or when I talk to the Lord about the end time revival and the great 21:20.050 --> 21:23.670 outpouring, has there been things that the Lord has given me of how things are 21:23.670 --> 21:27.330 to be, and what are important, what are not? Yes, he has, but there is details 21:27.330 --> 21:30.150 that are just still a mystery. You know what I mean? And the Lord just keeps 21:30.150 --> 21:35.810 it this way. I think I've shared this here before, but a man of God once 21:35.810 --> 21:39.550 said it this way. He had... it was a vision or a dream that he had. I can't 21:39.550 --> 21:44.230 remember, but he said in this vision and dream, they were like on a school bus 21:44.230 --> 21:47.830 or something, and the school bus was like crazy driving like through the mountains 21:47.830 --> 21:51.550 and on the edges and all this stuff. And people that were in the bus, I think 21:51.550 --> 21:54.570 it was a dream that this guy had. And when he was in the bus, he didn't 21:54.570 --> 21:58.050 know who was driving this bus. And he's like, this bus driver is crazy. 21:58.210 --> 22:02.250 Like he's flying where you should not be flying and taking sharp turns, 22:02.350 --> 22:05.690 where you should not be taking sharp turns. Long story short, when the 22:05.690 --> 22:09.550 bus came to a stop, the person that turned around, the driver of the bus, 22:09.670 --> 22:14.450 turned around and it was actually Jesus driving the bus like that. And the man 22:14.450 --> 22:18.370 actually from there, the man said, if Jesus was to open up his playbook, 22:18.870 --> 22:23.950 the full playbook, and if he laid it out in front of pastors, leaders, evangelists, 22:24.130 --> 22:27.850 apostles, if Jesus showed us his full playbook, like right here, right now, 22:28.150 --> 22:31.850 he says, I believe nobody would sign up for it. He said, I believe nobody 22:31.850 --> 22:37.550 would sign up for the plays that Jesus had there. Blitz 42 and Hail Mary and all 22:37.550 --> 22:45.550 that stuff. So the why to these series is because I believe that lowliness of 22:45.550 --> 22:49.770 mind is the blueprint of the end time revival. And it's on the forefront. 22:50.190 --> 22:55.990 It precedes the outpour. Humility precedes the outpour. Now the what? 22:56.050 --> 22:59.350 The what to these series is, I asked myself the question, I said, Lord, 22:59.350 --> 23:03.930 what is the purpose of this? What's the purpose, Lord, of us to go through it 23:03.930 --> 23:14.910 now? And the purpose of it is for us to be prepared and to produce both the 23:14.910 --> 23:21.010 character and live by the principles of lowliness of mind. So the purpose of 23:21.010 --> 23:25.370 why we're going through it right now as a house, as a church is to 23:25.370 --> 23:30.250 prepare us. And I will just quickly underline this, just a little bit in 23:30.250 --> 23:35.710 there. As the Lord leads, but I can see myself 23:36.970 --> 23:42.170 re-speaking this series some years down the road. Maybe not years, maybe 23:42.170 --> 23:48.430 months, I don't know. I do see us hitting the series again as time 23:48.430 --> 23:52.030 progresses, as the church grows, as the Lord begins to make things 23:52.030 --> 23:56.470 clear and know. I honestly do see myself hitting this series again to 23:56.470 --> 23:59.330 possibly even take, for us that are already sitting here, to possibly even 23:59.330 --> 24:03.990 take us deeper and to abide and to live by the character and by the 24:03.990 --> 24:12.330 principle of lowliness of mind. The how for this series is, how is this 24:12.330 --> 24:19.190 going to be? I'll start here. How is the characteristic or the principle or 24:19.190 --> 24:25.010 even us receiving this is by us being real with ourselves? I think that's 24:25.010 --> 24:29.350 the how. How are we going to see this? How is this series going to produce 24:29.350 --> 24:35.110 anything in us? It literally starts with us being real with ourselves. It 24:35.110 --> 24:38.650 starts with us admitting certain things. I'm not saying you got to come 24:38.650 --> 24:41.130 up to somebody and admit something to somebody. I'm talking about 24:41.130 --> 24:45.390 admitting and confessing to the Lord of some things that maybe you've 24:45.390 --> 24:48.970 been holding back and not have been confessing and thinking that you're 24:48.970 --> 24:53.870 right in. Tanya, my wife this morning was leading prayer and she said 24:53.870 --> 24:58.010 something that was so profound. She said, Lord, we want you to come and 24:58.010 --> 25:02.470 wrestle us with the things that we are not yet willing to give up, wrestle 25:02.470 --> 25:04.710 us with that Lord. And she was speaking from the story of Jacob 25:05.350 --> 25:08.230 wrestling the Lord. If you missed it this morning, I highly encourage 25:08.230 --> 25:13.250 you to watch what she spoke about. So the how is being real with 25:13.250 --> 25:18.450 ourselves and when we're real with ourselves allowing the Holy Spirit 25:18.450 --> 25:26.410 to work in us. You know, it's one thing when we say Lord, work with us or 25:26.410 --> 25:29.150 you know, do what you want to do Lord. It's a whole other thing is when 25:29.150 --> 25:32.910 we're being real and then we're saying Lord, come and work with us 25:32.910 --> 25:40.530 because we're being real. Amen? It's realizing, I'm hoping the 25:40.530 --> 25:45.410 Lord gives you this as he has given it to me. It's realizing the 25:45.410 --> 25:50.850 importance of lowliness of mind and seeing the things of God come 25:50.850 --> 25:55.190 forth both in our lives as individuals and corporately. So this, 25:55.890 --> 25:59.790 this will be produced, the how in this, it'll be produced in us as 25:59.790 --> 26:03.590 individuals and this will be produced in us as a corporate 26:03.590 --> 26:08.110 house. It's a twofold. It is a twofold. If we allow the Lord, 26:08.110 --> 26:13.070 if we are real with ourselves and we allow the Lord by his spirit 26:13.070 --> 26:17.370 to work this in us as an individual, I promise you it'll 26:17.370 --> 26:20.610 play an effect corporately. So I truly do 26:41.510 --> 26:47.650 believe that God wants to produce this in a, in us now. And 26:47.650 --> 26:51.030 here's why. I've learned something with the kingdom of God. 26:51.150 --> 26:53.790 I've learned a lot of things, but here's something that applies 26:53.790 --> 26:56.170 to what I'm saying. I've learned something with the 26:56.170 --> 27:00.010 kingdom of God, that the urgent hour in the kingdom of 27:00.010 --> 27:05.430 God is before the event happens. Let me give you a 27:05.430 --> 27:09.790 little bit more context. Oftentimes we as a society, as a 27:09.790 --> 27:13.710 people, a state, a country, a nation, whatever, we are 27:13.710 --> 27:18.390 always reactive to a situation where God is actually, if 27:18.390 --> 27:21.170 you read the scriptures, God is always proactive to 27:21.170 --> 27:24.890 situations. God actually always forewarned the 27:24.890 --> 27:30.050 prophets before things happened. He was talking 27:30.050 --> 27:33.970 about Jesus, the Messiah in the Old Testament. I kid 27:33.970 --> 27:36.430 you not, you can read the Old Testament out of every 27:36.430 --> 27:38.810 book in the Old Testament, you can read, and you can 27:38.810 --> 27:42.170 literally find the scriptures talking about one 27:42.170 --> 27:47.810 person. And his name is Jesus. Genesis 3 is one of 27:47.810 --> 27:52.490 the first mentions of the Lord. Read it. I'm not 27:52.490 --> 27:53.990 going to tell you what it says. Find it in Genesis 27:53.990 --> 27:58.370 3. Literally. It's one of the first scriptures that 27:58.370 --> 28:02.930 talk about the Lord. So God is always proactive, 28:02.930 --> 28:07.650 meaning that the urgent hour in the kingdom of God is 28:07.650 --> 28:11.910 before the event happens. And a lot of the times 28:11.910 --> 28:14.610 people struggle with that. Because they say, well, 28:17.110 --> 28:19.430 prophets and pastors and evangelists are saying 28:19.430 --> 28:21.650 these things, but we're actually not seeing them 28:21.650 --> 28:24.750 come. It's like, well, why isn't it happening? 28:24.930 --> 28:27.410 Where is the great falling away? Where is all 28:27.410 --> 28:30.190 these things? But we need to understand God. We 28:30.190 --> 28:33.230 are in time. We are in time. God is not in time. 28:34.710 --> 28:38.370 So he is actually telling us, hey, the urgent hour is 28:38.370 --> 28:42.150 now because in a blank amount of time, this is 28:42.150 --> 28:44.850 going to happen. Because he wants us, as as 28:44.850 --> 28:49.290 bright as his people, to be proactive. So we're 28:49.290 --> 28:51.770 not reacting to the thing that happened, but 28:51.770 --> 28:54.590 we're coming in it with faith, with grace, with 28:54.590 --> 28:57.630 stillness, with reassurance, with steadfastness. 28:57.630 --> 29:00.150 It's all these things that God actually wants us 29:00.150 --> 29:03.270 to walk into every situation. If you lived in the 29:10.010 --> 29:12.370 Soviet Union, there was a glimpse of what 29:12.370 --> 29:14.010 they experienced in the Soviet Union. The 29:14.010 --> 29:15.930 stories my dad tells me, it's a glimpse 29:15.930 --> 29:17.450 of what the scriptures tell us the end 29:17.450 --> 29:19.370 times are going to be. And I'm not saying 29:19.370 --> 29:21.490 this as doomsday, because right away 29:21.490 --> 29:22.710 people are like, oh, he's a doomsday 29:22.710 --> 29:24.150 preacher. I'm not a doomsday preacher. 29:25.230 --> 29:27.730 I'm reassured that I'm going to be in 29:27.730 --> 29:29.990 safety. Why? Because of Psalm 91. 29:31.110 --> 29:34.150 He who abides under the shadow of the 29:34.150 --> 29:38.330 Almighty. Now, quick thing.
