A while back I spoke on something called avenues of healing, and you know, it's like two pages on both sides, right?
And I only put a few things down. So we're not going to cover all of this today.
But when I did it, we just went and we took sections of it, so you can find that online.
And, you know, if you're going after something in your body, please don't do the immature thing.
The immature thing is like, well, I went up and they prayed for me. Nothing happened.
See, that's immature Christianity because the word Christian means a Christ follower.
It means a follower of the anointed one and his anointing, which means you just keep going where he's going, right?
It doesn't matter if you feel something in your body change or any of that stuff.
It's like, this is what he said. It's true. I choose to believe it. I'm headed that way.
It's a narrow way, but I'm headed that way. Amen?
And we are so used to, I mean, I don't know how they did it, little house on the prairie.
You know, got to get the doctor. He might be a day out in a row, you know, by the time they get there.
You know, there was home remedies, self remedies, there was all that stuff.
But if you were a Christian, you definitely were forced into a spot. You needed to believe God, right?
And then it just got jigged when it changed where we can pop a pill for everything.
And I was talking with somebody who's in recovery and we were talking about hyperactivity and what happens, you know?
What is this thing coming out of the trauma that is suffering?
What is this thing? Why do I just go do this and then I don't think about it until afterwards?
But what happens is if you start at eight, nine years old in usage of anything, porn, anything, whatever,
it causes this reward system inside of you that's like, I need something now.
I need to feel different now. I need to have that right now. I need to change right now.
There is no, I'm going to earn money, save money, and get the thousand dollars.
It's like, I'll go out on the streets and within five minutes, I got a thousand bucks.
And once you start that instant reward system, then it's very difficult then to come over and say,
however you want to do this in my life, Lord, do it.
So you believe for healing, if you're just used to popping a Tylenone, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with medications, help.
But if it's the instant reward of I just want that gone, then when you stand in the prayer line,
it's very difficult to be like, I'm here. I'm going to claim it.
I'm going to believe it. I'm going to speak it forth. It's five days later. I'm still speaking it forth.
My head's pounding and I'm speaking it forth. I go to the doctor. I'm still speaking it forth.
Because here's the thing, sometimes that's what it takes to bring about that change in our own heart,
where we just go, it is finished. Just like Jesus, right? It is finished.
There was a process he went through, and then he said, it is finished. Amen.
So, you know, there's different... and I'm going to machine gun you with this just as a reminder,
because a lot of you went through this class. Touching the hem of the garment, Matthew 9.20 through 22,
talks about a woman with an issue of blood and how she pushed through.
Well, that's one avenue to healing. That's like, I got to get to the presence of God.
I got to get to the anointing. You push through anything. Right? So that's an avenue.
If you are willing, and the Lord said, I am willing, you have to come to a place where it's...
you've determined it's actually in his will. You know, like this New Testament is a will and testament.
Right? It's what he bought for us. And then he instituted it as a lawyer before us. Right?
He's our lawyer. And so anybody comes against this, I'm going to go, I got to get my lawyer.
I'm going to look in the will. And this is what he said. Right? And he said, I will,
which means he does. It's done. It is my will for you to be healed.
There is nobody that it's like, oh, you know, it's not his will. You have to settle that in your mind.
There is no, like, gray area. A person can either go home or stay.
But it is not his will for us to die of sickness and disease.
That's part of the curse. That is part of the demonic realm. That is part of sins, results.
That's what it's part of. Right? So, and there are many people who die like that.
And we almost set our faith to, we're looking for, well, I wonder what I'm going to die of.
You ever think about that? Because we see so many people die of an ailment or what.
Sometimes their bodies are just old enough it's shutting down and they're getting out.
So, you know, if they do an autopsy, it'll be like, oh, they had a heart attack.
Actually, they stepped out and their heart freaked out. That's what it looks like from this side.
So, we have to kind of keep that in mind, too.
But we'll set it like, I don't know what, you know, start to fear death because we don't know how we're going to die
or what the devil's going to do to us to take us out. It's the last enemy.
He overcame death hell in the grave. And so, we have to remember that.
I can just step out of my body. I don't need cancer to help me.
Okay? And so, speaking the word, which means if you speak the word,
you're speaking something someone else said, which means you believe that there's authority
in what someone else said. And then, when I speak it,
that's where the authority is for me, because someone else, higher than who I am, said,
this is the way it goes. And so, we began to speak that.
We're under authority, Matthew 8, 7 through 13.
Wash yourself. You know, that can have many different connotations.
You can look it up there. Like I said, we don't have time to go through everything.
But, you know, it's a preparation. It's a belief system.
Like, one of the ways that we can wash ourselves is just coming before him and say,
God, wash me with your blood.
I need anything that this, whether the root of it is, you know, goes back to some kind of thing,
because when there was no sin, we had no death.
So, Santa introduced some junk. And so, we're constantly putting things under the blood of Jesus.
Because that's actually where they belong, under the blood of Jesus and under our feet.
That's where it belongs, right?
Confess your sins one to another and you will be whole.
It's the wildest thing in the years of ministry.
And for myself, there were times just suffering in my body or someone was just suffering
and they came up and began to talk to me and they're like,
I just don't know what I'm going to do. Should I go to the doctor or whatever?
And we just start talking and they're like, you know, I'm just wrestling.
I said, are you wrestling with anything emotional?
Are you wrestling with anything that you think is spiritual?
And they're like, well, the only thing I could think of is I'm just so mad at my husband.
And through forgiveness, see, anger says I want something to stop.
So that doesn't mean you have to pull back all your anger or your sin.
That just means be angry and sin not in your anger.
Right? And so, sin not.
If you're in sin, it's like, I'm bitter. I'm offended. I'm done.
I'm going to take control and start making announcements.
You know, all of that comes out of it.
But to be angry because something's wrong or it's not jiving right,
you're really saying I want this to stop. We have to find an answer.
And I'm kind of mad about it. Right?
And so, you know, coming before him and asking forgiveness,
sure enough, that's exactly what just led through a prayer of forgiveness
and I choose to forgive others or whatever.
All of a sudden symptoms are gone.
What? Right?
Go to the temple and testify, Acts 520.
That's that declaration of I received it, therefore I'm going to talk about it.
And you testify it, they overcame it with the blood of the lamb
and the word of their testimony and they love not their lives unto death.
There is something about testifying that's so powerful.
And I have testified in this way where people would say to me,
so how is it going? How are you feeling when I was very ill?
And that's what it was manifesting anyway.
And I said, I'm the healed of the Lord.
If you have no other testimony, say what he said and who he is.
And, you know, people say, well, won't you look dumb if you die like that?
Well, one, I won't care because I'll be stepping out.
Right? And so, like, this little earthy thing can take care of itself.
But two, there's something about just that testimony
that activates things. And I would rather have that, the last words on my lips,
than saying something in doubt.
I just would rather have that, the last words on my lips,
testifying who he is.
Confess your sins one to another. You'll be whole. We talked about that one.
Dr. Lu, this is a whole controversial one that I can't get into.
A little wine for the stomach's sake, you know, but I will say,
if you study the word wine, it means the freshest wine, which is grape.
And if you can, if you got an upset stomach,
I will tell you that grape juice is a blood builder.
Grape juice, I could just name all kinds of stuff that it does, right?
And even if it's a little fermented, because they didn't have refrigeration back there,
just kind of like the lower level of kombucha.
Some people are, they call it the butch, right?
Some people, when they drink kombucha, is sat way too long.
Now you might as well be drinking wine.
But when you're in the beginning stages of that, it actually is like sauerkraut.
Helps your stomach.
So there's some things, here it's Dr. Luke, who's saying that there's some things
to go after healing that we should pay attention to.
You know, if they say, you know, you got heart issues,
stay away from monster drinks and all forms of caffeine,
and you're like, well, I don't think that's going to bother me.
Well, all right. You know, or if you take that advice,
that can change everything.
All of a sudden, the heart palpitations stop, things like that.
We are the temple of the Holy Spirit.
He quickens our mortal body.
He gives life to our mortal body.
That's the word quicken.
He gives life.
We're in a constant state of decay.
Do you ever notice that? That's why I showered this morning.
Because your body is like...
Like, you can't even keep on top of the smell.
We're in a constant state of decay.
And so we have to have someone quicken our mortal body,
and that's the Holy Spirit.
The same spirit that raised Christ from the dead,
that resurrection power is in us.
So these are just a few avenues of healing.
Man, you get all these things going together.
Look out. Look out.
Getting a reality check.
She's just sleeping.
Our view versus his view,
Matthew 9.24.
You know, oh, she died, or she's sick,
or whatever, she's just sleeping.
Jesus had a different view of the situation
than the view that we have.
And so many times he'll correct us.
We have to be open to correction
when we're pronouncing all these,
well, they died, or this is what's happening,
or whatever.
And Jesus is like, hey,
this is my view of it.
Totally different.
But we're seeing and we're recording everything
through our five senses so loud about the situation
in fear we can't hear his view.
We don't see how he sees.
Forgiveness opens the covenant.
We talked a little bit about forgiveness.
Elders of the church by laying on the hands.
And you know, go to the elders of the church
by laying on the hands you will be healed, right?
Recover.
I could go to any church
and I'm just not going to let just any elder
lay hands on me.
See, a lot of people just go blind.
He's got a tag on. Let's go to him.
You know, so I was right there, elder.
And he could be the person
totaled out when it comes to healing.
And so then I put the weight there
and nothing happens.
Or they try to talk me out of what I'm believing for.
Choose wisely, my friend.
Who's going to pray for you?
And you want them to be an elder
when it comes to, they're wise enough
to have overseen a healing line
or how a healing even operates.
Right?
You're going to get more results like that.
All right?
Be in health even as your soul prospers.
Your soul is your mind,
your will and your emotions, you know?
And so you could be off in any of those areas.
And yet he wants us.
He's telling us, I want you to be
in health in those areas.
So we don't stop learning.
We don't stop digging into things.
We don't stop. We don't act like a victim
and be like, I don't know.
And then just come before God
and like roll the dice to see if he's going to heal us.
He wants us to continue to grow
and let our soul prosper.
Which means we have to learn how to process.
We have to be self-aware.
We need to know if we're confessing stuff.
Pay attention to what's coming out your mouth.
Guard your heart with all diligence.
For out of it comes the wellsprings of life.
Amen?
So he wants us to be in health
even as our soul prospers.
Get yourself into the water.
Do you want to be whole?
That's the story. He's laying by the pool, right?
And I like that, you know,
I like that he asked him, well, do you want to be whole?
Well, why don't you think I'm laying here?
When I first read that, I was like,
I'm laying right here.
But the effort wasn't there.
He was working on a project
but working on the wrong thing.
And he was working on it hard
and felt sorry for himself.
Right?
So these are accountability checks
when we're going after him.
Go your way and sin no more.
Well, we know that sin can play a part
in starting something.
Even if it was your father's sin,
your mother's sins, the sins of your ancestors.
Something that has tried to pass down.
Sometimes we've got to go deal with that.
Now, I'm not an archeologist.
You've heard me say this before.
We've got the little brush and little,
you know, I've got the little hammer
and I'm just like, we've got to find...
You're going to get healed if I can find that one little thing.
Okay, we can't be little what Jesus did
on the cross.
But there are times he'll say,
go get some wisdom and figure this part out.
Find that. And we'll go find it
and he'll show it to us.
Your faith has made you whole.
Highly important.
We know
both here it's happened and many other places
where you find out there's
healing happening through a certain person.
You know, God's using them.
Their faith is there for that.
That's part of what they're doing.
And people will flock to that person
and forget about having faith
themselves.
That's a lot of pressure to put on
some guy or some woman.
You know, like,
they should have it.
Someone else came out of the wheelchair.
So come on, buddy. You know, let's do it.
Our faith is a big part of it.
If you confess with your mouth
and believe in your heart,
you will be saved. The same salvation power
is there for healing.
It takes the limits off by the finger
of God.
It's deliverance.
Healing many times follows deliverance.
Amen.
Amen. Hallelujah.
Cast the demon out.
Well, see, if that worked
one time, many times, that's the one
we get stuck on.
And we'll go to every demon conference
or find the demon hunter.
You know, and they posse up
and they're like, let's get... there's another one hiding.
I know there's another one in there.
We're not using any of the other principles.
And you might even had
something hanging onto you
that left,
but now you need to grow.
You need to prosper in your soul.
You need to come up and how you take care of yourself.
You need... there's so much more
that goes on.
Alright, so... and
I've cast demons out, right?
Well, and actually it wasn't me, it was the finger of God
through me, right?
Just because you believe and you step into that,
that's part of working of miracles.
Did you know that?
So, but what happens
is not everything's a demon.
And not every demon
you might have some little imp bug in you,
but really here's the big problem
and we'll focus on that.
That little old thing.
Well, that little old thing only thinks it can stay there
because you got all this going on.
Give it all this.
He got to go.
It's called self-deliverance in the sense of just growing.
Let's see, I'll just mention a couple more.
See, time and harvest
is huge when it comes to healing.
So, like I said,
it isn't that God won't heal.
You could have been a heroin addict
and be sitting here this morning.
We have seen this happen.
Pastor and I have prayed over someone in Colorado
full blown heroin addict for years
right there and
right there, delivered.
It's never gone back to it, right?
That's super on the natural.
And then so anybody suffering addiction,
which is all of us in some area.
Anybody suffering addiction,
what happens is
then we start to think,
well, that's how everything's going to happen.
That's what just happened to Pete.
That's going to happen for me, maybe.
And that's not doubt.
God will do that in certain situations.
He'll just cut it right out of you.
But guess what? When he cut that out of her,
what was left?
This whole thing of abuse
that was so overwhelming.
That was actually the harder part to get at
than heroin.
You can flush heroin.
But everything that's inside of you
that has to be renewed.
It's a whole different deal, my friend.
Okay. So, but seed time
and harvest sometimes will come
under condemnation.
When it comes to that, you're like, oh, for years
I smoke cigarettes and not got
growths in my lungs
or in my throat. And so it's all my fault.
God's not going to heal me. Not true, my friend.
Not true, my friend.
Because we've all done certain things
for so many years.
Things we didn't even know we were doing.
Right? And sin has an effect on everything.
So,
his forgiveness is his forgiveness
is his forgiveness. Grace is
complete.
It's complete. You can't add to it
and you can't subtract from it. It's complete.
Then we have to just get in a spot
to receive. Amen.
So, grace is another one.
Sins forgiven.
In understanding
authority, I won't go into
any more of them because I really want to take
time to pray for people.
But just, if you're sitting here
this morning, you're like, oh, I never
thought of that one. Well, that might be
an area that needs to be addressed.
You can go online and get this sheet
and actually hear the sermons
that it took a few weeks to put together
on speaking.
So, I think that was on a Wednesday night,
I believe.
So, any case,
if you got something going on
in your physical body and you've been
harping on the demon,
and that's the only area you harped on,
I take authority on it,
I bind you in it.
Okay, good job.
But, you know,
we might be harping so hard over here,
we can't hear that he's like, just stop
doing that.
I want you on these vitamins.
And I want you to go to bed
at night instead of staying up all night
watching TV.
God wouldn't say those things.
He's supernatural.
He's going to do super stuff.
You know, he's going to
Jedi the situation.
That's what we look to him for. All the
rest, we don't look. No, he will give
you instruction. He will grow
you. There is nothing
that he does miraculously
that some type of
discipleship growth is not
required.
Before
or after.
You think the man who had legions of demons
just ran along
skipping and happy
and never had to do a thing after, and he never had
to grow. He never had to deal with his past
trauma. He never had to do any of that stuff.
No, because he was just delivered.
Now it's on the front
end or it's on the back end, but either way
you got to grow.
Amen?
So I say
that because this is key because
some people say, I already
went to the altar for that. I've been
up there ten times. I already asked Jim
to pray for me. I just think there's
just something wrong with me. I just
you know, you can go on and just
way overthink it in the negative
rather than it's like, I might be
missing a key.
But here's also the other
thing. When you're declared healing
and you receive it, it's
done. The manifestation
is what you're looking for.
You're looking for the manifestation.
And so then
we'll be working hard on a project once again
but we're working on the wrong thing. We're over here.
Well, maybe it's a bigger demon than
the last one that I tried to cast out
and you start going into a mind game
over the whole thing rather than
going to God and saying, thank you
that you are my healer.
Thank you, Lord God, that we
acknowledged that in prayer this morning
and received it. And so
anything that's standing the way, you show
me what I should address. You show
me what I should ask forgiveness for. You
show me where I need to grow. You show
me. But I believe that you are
Jehovah Rafa, the God that healeth
me, the Lord my healer right here
right now. But my leg right
here right now.
Right?
So part of being
duo or triple or quadruple
minded.
I mean, the Bible doesn't mention that, but you can
have 15 different ways you're thinking about
something, right? But
faith is over here and unbelief is over here.
So that's why it says duo.
And so if you're standing in
two places at the same time
don't think
that you'll receive anything is what it says.
So then what we do
how many of you have been standing in two
places at the same time ever?
Hands should be flying up like, yeah, just
a few minutes ago
last night I said some trash stuff.
You know, I mean, because you get mad
and you're acknowledging, you're
acknowledging the earthly realm.
It's like my foot hits my back hurts and
we're acknowledging it more than
we're acknowledging this is what he said.
This is what he said.
I was hoping
my mom, she's on one end of the house,
I'm on the other. I was hoping
she didn't hear me. There was something happening
with my back. I just was like
I'll bind this in the name of Jesus.
I don't, you know, duh-duh-duh-duh, right?
Still hurt.
Whatever.
Whatever.
His word is still true.
So you're working on the project of
the word being true, not on the project of
a, did it go?
Am I still feeling something?
Your own mind
can psychosomatically send
you the pain that you just had a few minutes ago
just because you concentrate on the
pain you had a few minutes ago.
I've showed you this
before. All you have to do right now is think
about your big toe on your right foot.
Put all your energy thinking about your big toe on
your right foot. You will feel your right
toe on this, your big toe
on this foot more than any other
part of your body right now.
All you have to do is concentrate on it.
So part
of moving ahead
in healing is I actually
disregard my body.
And if the Lord tells me to go
to the hospital or something, I'll do that.
But I can't
say the pain is going to
direct me. The pain that I
got to go by the pain is going to drag. I can't.
I have to go by what's truth.
And if he says go on in
and I'll say, okay Lord, the whole way it's like
your word is true. Your word is true.
This is what life is. This is life.
You said you would
quicken my mortal body. Lord, I
need more quickening right here, right now.
You see what I'm saying? This is war.
See, it's an off thinking
in any area, whether it be addiction
or you're going after finances
or whatever you're believing for
where you're poor in
and you want to come up into the blessing.
It's a false thinking
that, you know, if I just pray hard enough
you'll notice me.
You know, like we're little victims sitting here
and it's just like I've tried to be
good. I bake some bread for that
grandma across the road.
Did you notice?
No, war is not like that.
You don't go out to your enemy
and be like, I bake bread.
That will
snipe you out.
Right? So you have to look at it
from a warfare stand, right?
And sometimes it can be
that you just don't love yourself.
And I say it with
the word just when really that's a big
stinking deal.
I've had people stand in
the prayer line
and just say, I'd be better off dead.
I just want this over, I wish I was dead.
And then I'm supposed to
come with the power
of God
and overcome what they just said, right?
I'm like, I'm so powerful, I'll just
shut that down. And ah!
Sorry! You can't have
what you speak against.
I want healing, but I spoke
against it. No, you can't have that.
You can be frustrated though.
Pain is very
frustrating. You know what that makes me?
It's almost like if I was at war
and I got shot in the leg,
you can take this route. You could
be like, well, I'm going to go hide.
I don't want to do this anymore.
Or you can wrap it up and be like, well, snap.
Now you're first
going to get messed with.
Right? And use
that for a whole different
thing, right?
We use
it for a different thing. It's like it should
propel this part of us that just
goes, oh no, you didn't.
Right?
So
that's all part of
avenues of healing. And so
much of it is in the mind.
When I went to the doctor,
this doctor to get
and he's a specialist in all kinds of things
and can test the body and
check where bacteria are. And I mean, he's
just all over it like wet and rice.
And when I went to him
he said, oh, just
don't worry about cancer. You don't have
the mindset for that.
So he already knew
people coming in who were like, I don't know
what to do.
They're probably going to die of it.
There is only one savior
by the way. It's not your doctor.
God love him.
God love her. I'm so thankful
for medical people.
I have a sister who's an RN. Oh my
goodness, she's saving lives all the
time.
I'm so thankful for that.
But they're never your source.
Certain vitamins
are never your source.
It's something you're doing under the instruction
of the Lord.
Any time you make something here on
this earth, another person,
something, your
Lord, then you're like, I'm believing
God, but what are you going to do, Gary?
Tell me what to do, Gary.
I can't
be in two places at the same time.
Thank you for praying for me, Gary.
I'm glad for that advice, Gary, but my
God, my God, let's stand.
He is so good.
He's so good. He's
mercy endures forever. He's moved
by compassion toward us.
And I tell you, sometimes
we don't believe
that he has compassion for us because
we were the one driving the car when we
were drunk and we hit a tree and
now our legs not working right.
So why would he heal me?
Because he's full of compassion.
And
his mercy is endure forever.
Full is full
is full.
There's no shadow of turning in
him. He's not here and there at the same
time. He's yesterday, today
and forever kind of full
God.
So
if you're struggling
with something in your body
I don't care if it's an
infected toenail like I've said before
or it's some big announcement
that a doctor made.
Let's approach him differently
this morning
and get some prayer.
