I'm surprised at how many people showed up with the weather we got going on out there. That's really good. Thank you. Appreciate that. If we didn't have weather going on, we'd probably be totally full. But that's alright. I'm glad you're here because some things we're not going to be able to livestream this morning. So let me just briefly explain that. We'll livestream what we can and then there's some videos and stuff we're going to show that have it's personal stuff and we're just not going to put it out there. People find it personal and it means something to them and we're just not going to put it out so the whole world can see it. So that part, when we get to that part, we will stop in the livestream. We may come back half an hour later for the ending. So you can watch to see if we come back online and if we do go ahead and join us again. But we're going to be leaving you out of a certain portion of what's going on this morning. I was going to be speaking eventually about angels among us. That's what's on the sign. And we're going to shorten that up this morning and hold that second part for a different time. So I probably should rename this Supernatural Encounters because that's kind of what we're going to be focusing on. So let's get a running start on it. I'm going to say a few things. Lay some groundwork. Mary's got a principle she wants to lay out on encounters with God. And then at that point we'll probably be stopping the livestream and going into some other things. But let me briefly briefly see if this will work. It's not working for me. And I need it to work. Whatever you did it works. Briefly review. We talked about last Sunday, we talked about the supernatural some last Sunday and this is what I had said that in 2004 when we were coming up with the first load, the Lord told us why we're here. Two reasons. This is for the generations, number one and number two, the church of Minnesota is to be built on the word and the supernatural. Hang everything on those two. Well supernatural can go many different directions so we talked about it some and just gave you things that are supernatural. Things that we don't always look at as being supernatural but they're supernatural. So the point I want to make is without the supernatural we do not have Christianity. Christianity is not a belief system in philosophy. Christianity is a relationship with Almighty God and when Almighty God steps into our life, supernatural takes place because he is a spirit. He is God. And things that don't normally happen in the natural world take place like some of them I have listed there and we just talked about these last Sunday. I want to mention this. None of these, none of some of the things you're going to see this morning are new. This is nothing new. This has been around since the book of Acts. We know that because we can go back into Scripture and find it. People have been spending hours in worship since the Old Testament. This is not something new that all of a sudden we spent two hours in worship. This is new. This is not new. All it shows is how cold the church in America has gotten spiritually. How off we've gotten. You know, long worship services having communion with God, dreams, visions hearing the Word be preached for a long time. You think I preach long. You know I've heard people say, well I wish we would see here what they see in Africa and what they see in other parts of the world the miracles and things that happen there. If we were willing to engage God to the level they engage Him, we'd see it. Randy Mitchell shared one time. He's missionary. He goes over there. He shared one time. He said I wasn't feeling well. He said I asked the guy and he was over there for a conference. It was his time to speak. It was morning. I asked the guy, he said how long do I need to speak? Because he wasn't feeling well. He said we usually go six to eight hours. He looked at him like okay then. He said so I did. He said I spoke for six to eight hours and nobody left. See they're willing to engage on a level we're not. Therefore they get they get encounters with God we will never see. So I just want to point out this stuff is not new. It's the main thing that sets us apart as Christians from other faiths. I loved when Pastor Igor was going through the series and going low and he's been talking about secret place and things like that. But I was a bit stunned when so many of us seemed like oh this is revelation knowledge. It's like really? Spending time alone with God is revelation knowledge? This has happened since Abraham and before. This is a normal progression of growing spiritually. And again the question went through my mind. Have we grown that cold in the church in America that we actually think wow I didn't know I could spend time with God? Really? This is nothing new. Like Mary was giving an example when the night her family got saved. They got home. Her brother got out of the car and started singing in tongues. He's a Lutheran boy. He got baptized in Holy Spirit and saved that same night. Never had seen this before, knew nothing about it. It just bubbled up out of him. You don't have to be taught some of these things. You just follow what God's pulling you into. You spend hours with God. You've heard me talk about it. I grew up on the farm like Jim. You've heard us both talk about it. I love to work at night. I don't know, there's just one there's a number of reasons, but one of the reasons was there was a connection between me and God when I worked on the field at night that I didn't have during the day. I don't know if because during the day you're looking around seeing all kinds of stuff and so forth at night you just see where the lights are shining. And it like enter into a holy place with God and spend hours there. Nobody taught me to do that. That is a natural normal supernatural occurrence that happens if we will pursue him. Pursue God. So scripturally the supernatural is Christianity. We're never to seek signs and wonders. Scripture says a adulterous generation seeks for a sign. That's what Jesus said. There's a difference between seeking for a sign and demanding covenant rights. There's a difference. Why want miracles to begin to happen? Why? You want a sign so you can believe or you want miracles to happen because they're our inheritance. Which one is it? There's a difference. Wanting supernatural things to take place so we see a sign is actually unbelief in action. Well I'll believe if I see a sign. No you won't. You'll criticize. You won't. Demanding our inheritance and our covenant, the things Jesus bought for us in covenant to take place. I need a miracle and I expect it to take place that's not chasing signs. That's living by faith. Louie can you share what happened to you real briefly? He shared it last Sunday with me after service and I said, why don't you share that? Well we were rendezvousing and I had trouble with my truck and it's a long story but I get home and I'm working on it and the same thing happened again. I was working on the fuel filter which is on the firewall and I took the banjo bolt out and I dropped it and I heard it like a pinball go down through the brake lines and all that and I get a flashlight and I'm looking and I can't find it so I go in the house and I go in the sewing room and I tell Nancy I said just kill me now. I said it's starting all over again and so then I went online to see if I could buy one and couldn't really buy one so I thought well I can maybe make it or whatever and so then I went back out and thought well I'm going to tear the rest of it apart and get as far as I can and I don't know if you're familiar with the Cummins on a dodge but the fuel filters are on the firewall and there's about a foot between that and the back of the fuel pump and then the fuel pump's about a foot and a half long I go out there and flip the hood open and that nut's right on top of the fuel pump in the front just sitting there on the fuel line. It's like thank you. And when I went out I was kind of angry with God and said this isn't funny and I said I really need your help and all that. I can't do it without you and then I went out and popped the hood and there it was. It's like praise God. Amen. Amen. So there's a miracle in everyday life and in Louie's way he was asking for it. I need a miracle. I need your help and all of a sudden the nut that fell down the back of the engine is sitting at the front of the engine on the top. How do you think that got there? That's an angel. I have stories like that. I don't have time to share them but I thought there's a difference between oh God just give me a sign do something versus I'm in covenant with you I need help. I'm expecting an answer here and demanding our rights. So I gave you the timeline of how this played out and through the reading of what the one guy had seen about the angels and so forth. So that's where we're going to pick it up. Not going to go back and rehearse that. That's in last Sunday. But when we seek God and we want more of him, which should be always do you realize coming to a place of I'm good I think I'm good where I'm at is lukewarm. That is one of the best definitions of lukewarm. I'm good. I'm okay right where I'm at. We are never okay right where we're at. He always wants us to keep growing from glory to glory to glory to glory. And when we pick up the attitude of I'm okay, which is the Laodicean church attitude, our age church attitude. When we pick that up what did Jesus say? I wish you were either hot or cold. Now the reason for that is he wants us all hot. But the lukewarm thing, he doesn't want that because there's deception in that. We think we're good and he's saying you're not. So if you were cold you would know you're not good. Now you think you're good and you're not. And he said if you stay there I'm going to spit you out of my mouth. I want nothing to do with you. Oh, but we're all going to heaven. No we're not. Do you think someone that he literally spit out of his mouth because he was disgusted with their attitude towards him. He's going to welcome at the gates. Oh, thank you. Come home. I mean, come on people. We got to become adults and start thinking beyond some things here. You say, but we get into heaven by believing. We get into the kingdom by believing. John chapter 3, we believe we get in. Romans chapter 10, believe we get in. We don't inherit the kingdom by just believing. I don't know why I'm on this, but let me hit it quick. I'm burning daylight here. Let me read this to you quick. There is something that is required of us. Once we're saved, that is way beyond believing. Belief always has to be there. But if belief was everything, why aren't the demons saved? They believe. Same Greek word in James as it is in John chapter 3. Same word. Same Greek word as it is in Romans 10. We get in by believing but then there is something we need to grow a little bit. We need to do, we need to grow. You can look it up, Galatians 5, 19 through 21. Now the works of the flesh are evident, adultery, fornication, lewdness, hatred, jealousies, selfish ambitions, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like, verse 21. He said it's not a full list, it's just that kind of thing. Of which I've talked to you about beforehand, just as I told you in the past. Listen to the last line. Those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. You can't live like that and go to heaven. Oh, but I believe he's God, so the demons who are helping you live like that. He expects us to be conformed, transformed to the image of Jesus on an ongoing daily basis. And when we don't follow in with that, he starts talking to us about it. And when we refuse him and refuse him and refuse him until it actually leaves. He's not talking to us about it anymore as far as we know. He still is. It's just we've gotten that hard in our heart, we're not hearing him. Now, I'm not the judge, but now in my mind, you're on really thin ice with your salvation because you cannot Scripture says you cannot continually refuse God and be okay with God. Can't do it. This whole doctrine of all you have to do is at eight years old just believe there is a God. And now you're good for the rest of your life. No matter what you live like, act like, or do, you'll get to heaven in the end. This is a demonic doctrine that's gotten to the church because it's comfortable and it's easy and it gives us false peace. You can't find it in Scripture if you read the whole thing. New Testament. But anyway, let's get back to this story. When we seek God and want more of him, we will have encounters with him. Now, like I said, I grew up in a church that had some of this not a lot, but there was enough that when I went into the ministry, I didn't go in totally ignorant. I knew that God did some stuff. I had a cousin. He was older than me. One service. The Holy Spirit just kind of poked in. God poked in and said, hey, let's do some things here. And there were people praying at the altar and he came up, he was standing there. And apparently, he went into a trance while he was standing. Because he was just standing there with his eyes closed and all of a sudden, he fell over forward. They were afraid he took teeth and everything out. He fell over forward without catching himself at all. Just straight bam on his face. He stayed there for about an hour. And Jesus met with him. He was in a trance and Jesus called him to be a missionary in Australia, showed him things he wanted him to do that whole realm. He was a teenager at that point. You say, but that's not Scripture? Well, I don't know. Peter fell into a trance. So I think it does happen. He's just one of them. So I started seeing there were some things that would happen in junior high and high school and so forth. I started having visions and demonic stuff and so forth. I was in college. We had a group from college come to the church for a service. It was a Sunday night and there's two sections. I'm sitting over, or Kevin's sitting, and the teacher from college who understood the move of the Spirit, he was up speaking. And we're all just sitting and listening and all of a sudden I start feeling God. It's like, what is this? And I started shaking. I'm just sitting by in my own business listening to him speak. And I started shaking. And I started weeping. He was smart enough to know that's God. And he stopped and he said, what's going on with you? I said, I don't know. Never had this before. It was brand new to me. He said, come up here. So I got up on the platform. I stood there just like this. Just weeping. He said, what's happening? I said, I don't know. He said, what's obviously God? He said, what is continually cycling through your mind right now? At that point, I started to speak for the Holy Spirit. And I had one little message. God wants us to stop fighting in this church. Quit fighting with each other. Lay our differences aside and seek Him. It's all came out. Okay? One guy sitting second row right there. See, there's good to having relatives in a church and there's bad. And sometimes I think it's more bad than good. Because they bring into church all their eddy, pity squabbles with each other as family. They'll bring that into church. I'm standing here, the brother Garrison, he was standing beside me, the guy who was speaking that night. Guy in the second row is my uncle. He's sitting there with everything I was saying. Looking that way. Wouldn't look at me. You know what he was doing? He was dissing on the whole thing. God knocked on the church door with an encounter and said, let me in. There's bigger things that can happen here. Your division is stopping it. And one of the people who was responsible for the division wouldn't even acknowledge it was God. One more example. Why in the old revivals, the old towns, the old neighborhoods Ireland, Scotland, Europe, Jim's got stories he can share on that. Why is it when some of these revivals would spread through and everybody in the town was saved? Everybody got saved. Everybody in the community got saved. Why is it that the bars ended up closing? Nobody told them they couldn't go. The town drunk got saved. They wouldn't go back. They just had no desire or need for it. That's supernatural. You know how cold the church in America has gotten? We now fight for the right to go to the bar. It's because I'm a Christian. When you get a true encounter with God, he backs you up and says you don't need that anymore. Leave it alone. We've gotten that cold. Without encounters with God, we are nothing more than baby philosophers. Philosophizing our beliefs. I believe this and I believe that. I don't agree with you. I think it's this way. All we have is talk. What did Paul say? I didn't come to you with mere talk. I came with a demonstration of the power of the Spirit of God. That's what the American church is missing. So we had two questions come in from the Sunday when I was talking about why do people fall down when they get prayed for. The two questions were about the Holy Spirit and laughter. Holy Spirit inspired laughter. And being drunk in the Spirit. And there's numerous scriptures that we could talk about. I will just give you one concerning them. Both of them are answered right here. And all were beside themselves with amazement and were puzzled and bewildered saying to one another, what could this mean? This is the day of Pentecost. This is when they got baptized in the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues and so forth. So they're wondering what in the world is going on? You have to read the whole context to see exactly what they're referring to. But verse 13, but others made a joke of it and derisively or dividedly causing division said, they are simply drunk and full of intoxicating, sweet intoxicating wine. They're just drunk. Now where would have they gotten the idea that they were drunk? By listening to them. Okay, so now let me ask you this. What is the atmosphere in a bar like? Where people are drunk? Give me a few, yet we don't know. That's funny. For those of you who have had experience with that, you can do it in, you can be at a party at someone's home and once people start getting drunk, all the same characteristics show up. What are they? Loud? Obnoxious? Sexual? And there's one more. There is a lot of laughing going on. So they hear these people in the upper room, they're loud, they're speaking in different languages. What's going on? Well, they're drunk. They were probably drunk in the spirit just laughing their heads off. Because that's what happens when people are drunk. So that's just one scripture. There's a lot of them. But that's just one scripture. You're going to see some of that in some of the clips today. Why are we going to show some of these clips? Because many of us have never experienced an encounter with God. We've never seen an encounter with God. We don't understand what happens when God encounters us. And it's not to our benefit to stay ignorant to these things. Now I'll say right up front because the main reason people don't like to encounter God is fear. That is the main reason. It's fear. Whether it comes out of doctrine or whatever, but it's fear. And Mary and I were talking about it. She said, yeah, it's fear of losing control. Well, when you encounter God just speaking in tongues you don't control that. I mean you don't make up the words. That's what I mean by control. You can start it and stop it at any point. But you don't make up the words. He's in control of that. Anytime you encounter God, whether it's a mild thing of you're just sitting there and all of a sudden you get goosebumps all over and your hair on your arms stand up, you just encounter God. Or some of the things you'll see this morning. We have to understand God will encounter people and people will say, well, I don't want to do that. You don't have to do that. God's a gentleman. He's not going to make you do anything. But if you're hungry for more of God, He's going to bring you into things to get you out of your religious, traditional, fleshly ways. And move you closer into the spirit. And you'll see some of that this morning. And the whole point is to expose us to it. Not to, okay, this is what we're all going to do now. No. That's flesh. You never work it up. You wait for God to do whatever He's going to do. Like when I was shaking. I didn't think, you know, I'd like to tell this congregation something. So I'm going to sit here and start shaking. And maybe it'll get somebody's attention. And I can get up on the platform and say something. That's all flesh. God doesn't respect that at all. When you're sitting there minding your own business and all of a sudden He nails you. Well, that's different. You're going to see things that happened with the whole congregation. Not everybody in the congregation was involved. Certain people who were more hungry after God. And don't be insulted by that. But I can't... They, that hunger and thirst for righteousness will be filled. People who don't hunger rarely encounter God. It's the hungry who He meets. Seek me with all your heart, He said. And you will find me. So there's things that happened to individuals. It was more of like a whole congregational thing. So it's kind of like a visitation of the Spirit. But individuals had some encounters. These things have been happening since the beginning. And I've had people say, well, why don't we see it in more churches? Well, I'm going to answer that question for you. But I had one person say, well, I think that word of life is a cult. Because it's the only church that this stuff happens at. Which is really sad. But I think they're a cult because there's no other churches that have this happen. So I don't think it happens other places. Well, you just don't know your church history. Have any of you ever...let's just go back a little over 100 years. Have any of you ever read or studied the Azusa Street Revival, 1904-05? How many did have? These people had some encounters with God. Just crazy stuff happened. The latter reign in the 40s. Same thing. Kenneth Hagin when he was traveling and even at Rema. Same thing. How many of you have heard of Amy Simple McPherson? Same thing. Huge, huge encounters with God. I mean, that is worth your time to just read up on her. Catherine Coleman. Same thing. Toronto Blessing. Smithden Outpouring. Missouri. Same thing. Many churches, many, many churches, including two in this area, have experienced it. I'm not going to talk about that, but from what I've been told, two in this area have experienced them encounter stuff with God. The Rain Ministerial Organization. Which is a local organization. Absolutely they have encounters with God. Rodney Hard Brown. When I was 24, I got into my first pastorate. And we had an encounter with God. We had our first open heavens meeting. I felt like I got voted in in August and I felt like in January we were supposed to have a week of meetings beginning of the year. We did. God showed up. The emphasis there was salvation and deliverance. Different moves have different emphasis. That one was salvation and deliverance. We were accused of feeding gas into the sanctuary through the vents. Because of some of the things that were happening. I don't have time to go into them, but I could just list them. They're all scriptural. Trances. Visions. I mean, all kinds of demons manifesting. Kind of like last night TBO kind of stuff. We started that meeting with about 180 people. Of which about 50 showed up for these meetings. We thought we were doing pretty good. Because most of the time during the week, if it's not Sunday morning the lukewarm christian stays home. It's a good place to either say ouch or amen. If it's not Sunday morning the lukewarm christian is not interested. Why? I'm good. I don't need that. That is the definition of lukewarm. So we had about 50 people show up. That week it just broke loose. Over the next three months we had about 125 people saved. Over 100 of them were baptized in the Holy Spirit. We're speaking in tongues. Some place, depending upon what level of ministry you're looking at some place between 14 and 25 people went into ministry. Out of that, what God did. I had no clue what was happening. I'm 24 years old. I haven't seen nothing yet. But God threw me into it and said I'll learn how to steward that. You got to stay and control that. You watch over that. You're the shepherd here. Learn how to steward that. You said, why doesn't it happen in most churches? Why aren't people being healed in most churches? Why aren't demons being cast out in most churches? Why is it most churches no longer believe in dreams and visions when Acts chapter 2 says both of those are actually last days languages that we're living in the last days? Why speaking in tongues doesn't happen in most churches? Miracles, signs, wonders, gifts of the Spirit. Why does this stuff not happen in most churches? The answer is the same for all of it. Fear, unbelief, bad doctrine, religion. It's the same for all of it. That's why it's not happening. So my request, Mary's going to come speak here for a few minutes. We've got about 30 minutes worth of video and then we're going to open for questions and answers. So keep them in mind. We have hours and hours and hours of video. We just pulled some slices. So there will be question and answer time at the end. My request is this. If you understand it and you see it, that's fine. If you've never heard or seen of anything like this before while you were in my boat when some of this started happening. Just try to keep an open mind. Let's talk about it and give you some keys how to look at it. And the other thing is we must realize the age we're living in. We are living in the Laodicean church age where I'm good enough. I'm fine. I'm saved. I know Jesus. I'm fine. And we're living in the time where the rise of the antichrist power is taking place. It's not anti-healing. It's not anti-miracles. It's not anti... You fill in the blank. Do you know what it's called? Anti- Christ power. What is Christ? The first definition, the Messiah. Second definition, the anointed one with his anointing. It's not anti-church anointing. Satan don't care if you go to church. He just don't want you to get touched by the anointing. If you get touched by the anointing, he's lost you. Everything goes sideways when people get touched by the anointing as far as the kingdom of darkness is concerned. The whole last days movement of which the spirit of that is growing around us right now is anti-anointing. We don't want the anointing to get strong because the anointing is what breaks the oak. So the things we're going to see, we've seen here not. This was like a visitation for the whole church. We see them ongoingly, regularly, here, TBO, so forth. So it's not like this doesn't happen anymore. But when you hear us talk about the modular, what happened in the modular, it was on such a wide scale now we're going to give you an idea of what that's about. But before we do that, I want Mary to come and share. God showed her an awesome principle I want her to share before we do this. First I have to say during worship this morning, Sally came up and shared something. And we'll revisit that later because that has to do with Isaiah 54. But I sitting over there and it is the apostolic, prophetic anointing. I could feel it. And the Lord said something very simple, but it's very deep. We talked about this in prayer. For those of you who attend the morning service in prayer, we talked about this quite a while ago. But he reminded me of how we've said from the beginning this move of God, these things that we go through are for the generation. So we usually focus on the next generation. But you will see that it's a twofold thing of anointing the God of assignment, of mandate that he's given us. And that is for the next generation, but it's for the sake of the generations. Which is the two family lines that created you. You come from something, right? And we might not like what we came from, but God never created that family line for no purpose. Right? And so the things that have gotten in, that have jacked it over, that have messed it up, it's to prevent the anointing that's on that family line. And then when you take those two family lines and you combine them, it's supposed to be explosive for the purpose of those two family lines to be fulfilled. So part of what he's speaking into when he speaks into us, when he gives us an encounter, is to heal the family line. Because in the family line is your destiny. You're next in line. Right? And then we catch that vision of the bigger picture. Then we turn and go, and I got to make sure I cover the next generation. See? So he's healing the generations but this is what he said prophetically. He said to heal the generations we have to go back and dig up wells. So in some sense we're digging up a well that was dug on our property in the modular. But the wells that have been covered over, that we talked about in prayer, like Abraham, he dug wells under the anointing, under the covenant of God, under the leadership of God, where he was to go. Then he'd dig a well. Well the anatomy would come and bury it. And God is saying that we need to cross generations. It's about the next generation. But the next generation also has to go back and visit the generations before. Same way you would visit your family line and say where did I come from and what is my purpose. So to dig up a well, we have to go back. We have to visit the fact that this church is under Smith Wigglesworth who then was Kenneth Hagen was under him. Then the next one down was Jim Caseman. And now here we are. That's our family line of assignment. But if we go back and go like Smith Wigglesworth, I've read some of that stuff. God's not doing that. He's doing a new move. He's the same yesterday, today, and forever. Anything you think is new is not new. It's just new to you. So it's kind of like what Pastor was talking about. We have to keep in mind. We have to pull from what has been. Go back and dig up those wells. Honor those wells. Now you'll see it online more than ever is there's criticism to the old wells. That buried that. That wasn't even of God. I think that's funky. That's freaky. All this stuff. It's constant. Was there weird stuff? Yes. Is there weird stuff now in the church? Absolutely. We have to go back and dig up what was God and bring that forward because he is the same yesterday, today, and forever. So if laughter is for today, it was in acts. Right? People were healed. There was all these different things. So he said this morning to represent or represent, when you represent the kingdom of God. Kingdom of God is representing the kingdom of heaven. And there is a display to represent something. You're not talking about what's going on presently. You are talking about what was. And now we're going to present that again and see what God does now. But if our faith is only for what we think is going on now, we have actually pushed the rest of the gospel away. We buried the wells. He wants us to dig up the ancient wells and see the full picture of God. Amen. And I remember, I'm trying to think of his name for some reason. I can't, Felicia, do you know it was the man who said, when God came down, we used to imitate that in the video. Do you remember who he was? Ah, if I said it, everyone would know. But it was the revival that happened in Wales in places like that, that he was a part of. And he was describing what happened. It was an old recording of him. We played that in the modular. Around the time revival broke out. What we were doing, and we didn't even know it, is we went back and we visited the ancient wells. We were digging something up that we didn't know nothing of. Right? And that God manifested similar but in the now. But because we honored who he was as a whole. Not who we think he is today. And there is such a move of saying what can't happen anymore. In order to say that you have to be an unbelief that those things ever happened. Or that was crazy just for that time. God has not changed. He's not changed nor have we arrived. Okay, so that's what he wanted me to say. Turn your Bibles and let's... I'm just going to mention if you guys could go to on the media. Luke chapter one in the Amplified. I'll be reading. Luke chapter one. This is the story of Mary and the story of Elizabeth. And how the babies came to be and all of that. But the Lord had pointed this out to me as a type of how encounters work. In order for us to stay on the straight and narrow so we don't get jiggy and weird. We have to look back. Like we're looking back old testament. We're looking back in New Testament. Find out how did he encounter people? What was their reaction? What was their thing? How did they follow through on after the encounter happened? Because we got a lot going on now where people were like, I just encountered God. I fell over. I laughed or whatever. Okay, what happened after that? What do you mean? They just go back for the treat of it. That's not how encounters work. And we're going to see how that works here. So same thing, what's Freaky is the same thing. The relatives and same thing happens to both of them. You know, similar. Anyway, so Luke chapter 1, we'll just start on verse 11. And an angel of the Lord appeared to him standing to the right of the altar of incense. When Zacharias saw the angel, he was troubled and overcome with fear. So the first thing that happens when there's an encounter with God is your flesh will fear. It should be an awe and respect of him, but most of the time it's just a freaking out of him. Because of the reasons that pastor said. And even if you're standing next to somebody who's having an encounter and you're not, fear. Right? But the angel said to him, do not be afraid Zacharias, because your petition in prayer, this is what we're doing weeks before you know, open heavens. We're bringing this year before him. And our petitions in prayer was heard. And your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son and you will name him John. You will have a great joy and delight. And many will rejoice over his birth, for he will be great. It goes on and describes what he's going to be doing. It gives his mandate. Like here's the purpose that you're encountering me right now. Your assignment is to carry this purpose. Right? And so it says verse 16, he's going to turn many of the sons of Israel back from sin to love and serve the Lord their God. It is he who will go as a forerunner before him in the spirit and power of Elijah to turn the hearts of the fathers back to the children and the disobedient to the attitude of the righteous, which is to seek and submit to the will of God in order to make a ready people perfectly prepared spiritually and morally for the Lord. That's a pretty big mandate. And to find out as a woman you're like, yep, you're carrying that. Well, that's the awe and respect that we have when we have an encounter with God and he gives us a mandate. This is your purpose. Right? It should be like, oh my. And Zacharias said to the angel, how will I be certain of this for I'm an old man and my wife is advanced in age? The angel replied and said to him, I am Gabriel. I stand and minister in the very presence of God and I have been sent by him to speak to you and to bring you good news. So the next step that really happens is we'll get this this encounter with God and be overcome with fear. And then we start asking questions. This is so how it works, right? You're standing when these experiences happen. And then it says that here's the mandate the Lord has for you. And the first response our flesh will give is, how's this? Are you sure? Are you talking to me? Are you sure this is going to work out? Because like I'm an old man. And we will pick out our weakness and shove it before the Lord when we're in the middle of a mandate. We encounter him and we're like, oh, this is the presence of God. And then he downloads to us. This is what I want you to do. This is what you're carrying. This is what your family line was for. Right? Think about that. That's the point of the mandate. This is what your family line was for. And then our first reactions are fleshly. I'm not very smart in that area. Moses, I can't talk well. Right? I could keep naming everyone's excuses and my own. When he's given me, how will I afford that? Usually it's mine. How are we going to afford that? He's a weakness. And that weakness comes up and it's revealed and you're actually challenging it like God hasn't thought this through. You know, he's like, I forgot about that. I didn't know you were weak in that area. Yeah, well, you should consider that next time you asked me to do something. You know what I mean? It's like that. The angel replied and said to him, I am Gabriel. So he fortifies the fact I'm speaking on God's behalf. Even the name Gabriel means God is my strength. He's there in strength and power to display and speak on God's behalf. So it was an angel, but for us it's God. It's Holy Spirit. Listen carefully. You will be continually silent. So because he questioned and he's a priest. See, I think he was held a little bit more accountable here because he was a priest. And because he questioned it, he's like, well, you know what's going to happen? You will be continually silent and unable to speak until the day when these things take place. You ever have an encounter with God, you question or whatever, it gets rough after that? He's like, oh, we're going to pause on some of these things. You have a lesson you need to learn while we're moving ahead on this. I've had that. Right? And so you know if that was happening to me because I have a hard time shutting up. You'd be like, something definitely happened to Mary. But in any case, listen carefully. You'll be continually silent and unable to speak until the day when these things take place because you did not believe. Because you did not believe what I told you. But my words will be fulfilled at their proper time. That's a key to the mandate he's given you. It's going to be at the proper time. And it comes by the word he told you. The people outside in the court were waiting for Zacharias and were wondering about this long delay in the temple. But when he did come out he was unable to speak to them. And it goes on and talks about that. Now in the sixth month, verse 26, of Elizabeth's pregnancy, the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city in Galilee of Nazareth to a virgin betrothed or engaged to a man whose name was Joseph and a descendant of the house of David and the virgin's name was Mary. Now what's really interesting is we don't always include where people are from. Like if I was telling you a story about Paul it wouldn't be like, well, you know, and he lives. You don't always include all that. But in the Bible it's very important what line they're talking about. The begats are hugely important. Who were you born of? Who was your father? What was their purpose? Right? And sometimes that's how they greeted each other and everything. It's like you know, I'm a descendant of the house of David. And the virgin's name was Mary. And coming to her the angel said, greetings favored one. Similar thing. Right? He's calling her who she is to God. Your favorite of God. That's why I'm here. The Lord is with you. They didn't even get into it yet and he's got a reminder. The Lord is with you. But she was greatly perplexed at what he said and kept carefully considering what kind of reading this was. So she's kind of like, okay, you know, and she's considering this whole thing. But he called her favorite of God and he announced to her, the Lord is with you. So his presence was there. Amen? The angel said to her, she's having an encounter. The angel said to her, do not be afraid. There we go again. It's the first thing. It's the first thing. I like the story where they're going across in the boat and the storm was happening. New Testament Jesus, right? They're going to cross over. They're headed somewhere to deal with the demonic. And they're all freaking out and he's sleeping. What was the first thing he said to them when they woke him up? Why are you so afraid? Like, what's the deal? Right? So he always deals with the unbelief that's in us. So when you have an encounter of God, you'll know it. It's not a feeling where you fall down on the floor and you laugh a little and you're like, wasn't that fun? It's like, whew, I can feel your presence. But always following it, your flesh will challenge that somewhere in there. And you have to settle something to keep going with God. Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. Grace and favor are the same thing. Have you found grace? Are you under grace? You found that with God? Then he has a mandate for you. Listen carefully. That's where we pay attention to prophetic words. We pay attention to whatever he said. You write it in your Bible. You put a date next to it. You don't play around with stuff like that. You have a dream from him, whatever it is. You write it out and you hold on to that. Listen carefully. You will conceive in your womb and give birth to a son and you shall name him Jesus. He will be great and eminent and will be called the son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father, David, announcing the family line. Amen. And he will reign over the house of Jacob. So here's the mandates coming forth. This is what you're carrying and this is what's going to come out of what you're carrying. And he will reign over the house of Jacob, Israel forever and of his kingdom. There shall be no end. Mary said to the angel, here we go, same thing, right. How will this be? Since I'm a virgin and I have no intimacy with any man. So you pick out the thing that might be obvious, but it's also the thing of like, there's a weak point here. I don't know why you're thinking I'm going to do this. Right? Then the angel replied to her, the Holy Spirit will come up on you and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Where does it say that he's going to do that with us? Acts chapter one and two. When the Holy Spirit comes up on you, it's not just upon, right? Because we see that different. He comes up on you. You'll be filled with fire. Dynamite power. Isn't that cool? But for what? For your mandate. It isn't what we see where a lot of places that have moves of God. That's all the farther they get is, you know, they had a little feeling. They got the goosebumps. They had something. Wasn't that fun or whatever? Where's the mandate? Where's the thing you're carrying? What is the thing that's being restored from the generations that you are now through this encounter with God? It's relit inside of you and you're like, Lord, Lord. First thing comes up. Why would you choose me? You're from this generation. You're from this family line. This is what I'm asking. The gifting you have comes through your family line. He put it into you when you were being formed. You can hate the people before you, but you like them. You like them. For a long time I was, me and my dad were just I'm so much like them it's not even funny. Even how I'm standing right now. I just cocked my head about to the... That's how he stands. You know? But I'm like him, right? I see things like he sees them. Now, if he was lit by the Spirit, that'd be a whoo. He'd be something else. So anyway, so we see that we get the mandate. There's usually a question you go through. Hopefully the questioning time is short. When I started out and God gave me a mandate on something, I had to pray about it for months and all this kind of stuff. It's like, why can't we just go, I don't know how you're going to use me, but yeah, sure. You know what I mean? It's like, you're the one who asked me, so you know what you're dealing with already. Right? So it ain't my fault if it doesn't work out. I mean, why can't we just, we don't though. Our flesh will do that thing. And he's telling her the purpose that's going to be fulfilled so she knows the protection she has. She's caring. She has to protect this. Then the angel replied to her, the Holy Spirit will come up on you and the power of the Most High will overshadow you like a cloud. For that reason, the holy, pure, sinless child shall be called the Son of God. Whatever you are carrying as a mandate from God, he will overshadow you. Sometimes you have another encounter and it's all about just more of his anointing. And the reason is you can get back up again and keep heading toward the thing he told you to carry. And listen, even your relatives, so then in this part he shares a testimony with her. And listen, even your relative Elizabeth has also conceived a son in her old age. And she, and she who was called barren, which that's what we are before we know Christ. We're not producing no good for nothing. We're barren of the things of God. And so then we come to know him. We have an encounter with him. And yet she was called barren. She's now in her sixth month. I was called barren for the things of God. Condemned. Damned to hell. And when his spirit came upon me and I encountered him, everything changed. The mandate of the generations lit up inside of me, I could see it. I could see my grandmother and her one little prayer and I could see, I could go back as far as I, and I wanted to dig into it, find out who are these people that I thought I knew? What are they carrying? But see if we do now what I spoke before, if we do now we're like, nah that's a well that needs to be covered. Go ahead and just start with me, God. Do something new with me. You came from somewhere. And you have to acknowledge that. So anyway, and he said, and listen, he testifies to her that Elizabeth is pregnant and then he says why in verse 37 that this can be possible for with God nothing is or ever shall be impossible. This is all still part of the same encounter. The Mary said this is when she accepted. Sometimes it takes us longer. It hit her and she accepted it. She went through the questioning. She went through what are we doing? She went through all that and then she said, behold I am the servant of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word. A mandate from God and inter with God will always bring you to a point where you have to settle it on your altar. We've to die to yourself and say, so be it. I don't know how this is going to work. I don't know Lord God, but I just slay my life into you. You're the one who is lighting me up. You're the one who's going to over shadow me when I'm weak. You're the one who's going to carry this. You're the one who gave the mandate. I did not. I'm not in charge. That's part of going low. See Mary went low right then and she said, well behold I am the servant of the Lord. In other words, she just said, I will serve what you just said and I'll be faithful to your word. In the American church and church in general, there's been so many mandates that have been given out, so many encounters, you know, so many promises made and part of the sin that's on the church is we did not carry it out. Cause think about it, she got a mandate to carry the Son of God and Elizabeth the forerunner to the Son of God. You don't think they went through stuff after that? Everything was rough. She's on a donkey all the way to the place she had to give birth. People are chasing them trying to kill. Persecution, persecution, but she held on to the mandate of God. That came because she had an encounter. You come up with a nice idea of, you know, something that might be, well this, I think God would appreciate if I did this or whatever you won't carry it. You'll never make it. For sure. You have an encounter with him, you have to rebel against him. Because it ain't your idea. You have to say I don't want to serve you anymore. That's how danger it is to come to church and have an encounter with God. That's why people don't push in to have an encounter with God. Because the flesh already knows he's going to have me carry something. And I don't believe see. She said I'm a virgin. He said he was old. You said you were dumb. You said I can't speak. You said I don't have enough money. You said all that stuff. And it's a mandate from God. And he said he will send the Holy Spirit to overshadow you to come up on you. You'll be fine. Don't worry about it. But know when you step into it the demonic realm knows, oh now you're messing with the generations. Now we're going to make it a little rougher for you. Well did you hear from God or not? Amen? So as we look at some of the things here this morning just remember that things that happen to us like laughter and stuff. I think the fear, one of the fear is like what was the purpose of that? People are laying down on the floor laughing their head off. There should be a purpose. Right? If there's not a purpose you're in the flesh. And so it's going to add to your mandate or you know like me something's happening in my I had a service where someone else is ministering. I'm not stepping into something I know it's going to add to my mandate and help to carry me. You ain't laying hands on me. We're not doing that. I'm not laying on the floor doing whatever everyone else is doing. I'm looking for God to move on my life. And so I wanted to say this first so you know the steps that it carries out in everyone's life the same way it did with Mary. Amen? All right. Let me limp my way up here. Feels better when I'm not standing on it. At this point we're going to have to well let me say this before we let the live stream go. The difference between seeking signs and wonders and demanding covenant rights you will see in the first video we show. Seeking signs and wonders is I'd like to experience that. I wonder what that's like. I would like that. Versus demanding covenant rights, God you made promises to me. Now I am coming before your throne of grace with everything within me to obtain those promises. That's the difference between seeking signs and demanding covenant rights. So sorry for those of you who are watching online. Here's where we leave you and I think we will be back in about a half an hour for the ending. If you could give me the PowerPoint back I'm going to share a couple things. Mary you can share what you have here. Let me just finish this. I'll need to go down kind of towards the end. There was so much that happened we just didn't have room for there was fragrances that would show up. When heaven opens you begin to, sometimes you'll let you smell what it smells like there. When angels come you can sometimes smell them and they are the exact opposite of what Jesus called unclean spirits or demonic evil spirits. They have a stench about them that usually reminds a person of sulfur. You've smelled it haven't you? Yeah. This was like the most beautiful flower garden you could ever smell. And it appeared at different times. There was people who they come in, it's 20 below, it's in January. And they come into the building and they say, did you smell the flowers in the parking lot? So everybody out. And it's like what? And it just smelled like you were in the middle of a rose garden. Just so good. I mean there was just numerous examples and stories of that. The glory dust thing, so forth. I just want to warn us, can you jump down? I think it's the second to last, well no, this goes into the angels, this power point. It's, if you can find it, it says the danger to fold. It's in maybe half way, there it is. Here's the thing I want to warn us of. Mary touched it already, I want to hit it again. The danger is we separate ourself from the past. We hold on too tightly to the now. God will do different emphasis of things but what he did in the book of Acts still happens now and it still pertains. What he did at Asusa Street, he will still do now. We haven't changed covenants. We're in the same covenant, we're in the same duration of time, the last days. What he did throughout things is still pertinent and he will emphasize it the way he wants to emphasize it. When we get in the teenage flesh mode spiritually and this is the only way I can explain it, I went through it. I think most of us do. What happened with our parents or our grandparents or back don't need that. We're just going to concentrate on what God's doing now. You know what we're saying? God, what you did back there, irrelevant. We're smarter than they were. It's a rebellious teenager. Saying I don't care what my parents know, I going to concentrate on this. And we hold on so tightly to this, we negate that. That's younger generation, pay attention. What God did there, he still does. But he also emphasizes new things. For the older generation, don't hold on so tightly to what he did that we don't accept what he's doing now. What's got to look just like it happened at the modular never will. Whenever God does, he custom builds everything. He doesn't duplicate like humans do. We will never experience that just like that again. He's going to do something but we as the older generation can't hold on so tight to something God did that we don't leave room for what he wants to do. And the younger ones can't get so focused on what he's doing here that you cover up the well that was a well of God. You're actually insulting God when you say don't need that. We're here now. If you didn't need that, he wouldn't have done it back there. It still pertains. It still applies. Here's a scripture for it. He said to them, therefore every teacher and interpreter of the sacred writings who has been instructed about and trained for the kingdom of heaven has become a new disciple is like a householder. So this is what a teacher and interpreter of scriptures who's been trained by the kingdom for the kingdom. This is what he's like. They're like a householder who brings forth out of his storehouse, treasure that is new and treasure that is old. The fresh as well as the familiar. We can't get caught in either one. Or we'll miss God. Mary, you have anything you want to speak into this before? You want to come pray? I was going to do that, but if it's on your heart, I'll be glad to let you do it. So we're going to have Mary pray. I'll make that announcement after she's done praying. You got to hit the mic button. Let's stand. I'm glad there wasn't a overall weird feeling in just watching those videos because if you hadn't had this experience, you weren't there. It is hard to grasp it. But one of the warnings that I gave in the stories, God gives somebody like Mary or Elizabeth or yourself a mandate. You have to say, I'm the servant. I receive that. That's your word over me, right? There were so many mandates that came out of that. That wasn't just for kicks and balls. There was mandates. I mean, there were people going to the mission field that would have never gone, things like that. And they were the ones laughing on the floor going, what is happening to me? I mean, I could share so many stories. That's what happens in revival. He equips us and then he gives us mandates. So part of I don't know if I want to use the word danger in it, but part of the thing to watch for, to give a holy respect, is it's a call to the narrow way. Whatever it is he imparts to you when you're having an experience with him, he's calling you to a different way of thinking. You can't think like you normally do to do the thing he asked you to do. So you're going to end up in the narrow way. And we've seen, like looking at the video, I just get so excited, but I also have grief. Because there's people who have turned totally away from that experience and deny it. There are people who knew and they said it. This is what God called me to do. And now they're nowhere near what God called them to do. And there are those who heard the call and are presently doing it. That happens in every form of revival and anytime God moves, it's like, oh, I hate the sorting part. I don't sort it. It's their own heart. Where they sort it out. Then there are people that God's bringing back around. It's the craziest thing in the last two years. People have come back around and they're like, you know what? I knew that that was God, but I'm so sorry, whatever. And I'm like, don't apologize to me. This is whatever he said to you, you got to answer to him for whatever was going on there. But yeah, yeah, let's go, right? And so just to know that that's a process, it's not just a show of his power. He shows himself strong to restore the generations. Yes. That's the whole reason to save your king. There's a purpose. There's always a purpose. You get caught up in services somewhere else or whatever, where it's always just like, I don't know, a show of power, a show of power. Where's the change? Where's the mandate? Where are we going? I'd get out of there. Yeah. I'd get out. So at the same time, we have to revisit and say, what is he already told me to do that I'm not doing? You've heard us say this so many times. And go back and visit that as we go into those prayer times for open heavens. What did he already call to you to do that you know you're carrying that you've been wrestling with and you're not doing it, right? Because you're either missing things on the front end or you're missing it now, right? So this is all part of going into open heavens. We're receiving how that next thing is going to happen this coming year. This is not just to show up to see what God's going to do. Is he going to get crazy up in this house? It's going to be, Laura, it's sovereign. It's so holy. We want to hear from you. And I think it's not coincidence that most of the team that are coming in are prophets. For the open heaven means. For the open heaven means. Most of the team are prophets. And so we better come ready for that. Ready for that. We can't predict. Nothing like this may happen. But what is going to happen, we have to be ready to receive. Amen. So that's what I want to pray now. And forgive us, Lord, right up front for any wells that we've covered over. Even the wells of our ancestors. I have to say this. I know that my father was persecuted. Not for Jesus, but he was picked up for being dark and part native. They called him some pretty wicked stuff as he was growing up. Because it was mostly light colors. People around, right? And so in that I identified with him in that, at school and things. I mean, I was like why is this here? What's the deal? Now I'm just telling you about my generations. Right? And my dad's a rough man. But he's gifted. He has things. I have to look back and go, I came from that. Why? Why didn't I come from this over here? I came from that. Why? And so the restoration of generations, it's so interesting. He's tracked where the Blackfoot tribe was. I've tracked it, you know, Montana and just north of Wisconsin, up in Canada, right? So, crazy thing. I've always been called to minister to native people, First Nation people. I'm like all over like white on rice. And I'm not full blood, but right? There's something there. So I'm sitting in the sanctuary at Chief Cornerstone, a big tall man, big man sitting there with his son. And he was telling me about his son and I said, what is your name, sir? And he said it in Blackfoot, and he said it is similar to Ojibwe and it meant Big Bear, right? And I said, what is your last name? He said, well, my last name is Dijareli. Well, that just happened to be my grandmother's name. Right? That was native who lived and he said, we're originally from right? And he says the same spot and it was like that moment. It was like everything slowed down. I felt like his face was talking to me in slow motion because it was a God moment where it was like the generations have just connected. You see, he'll do that. He'll show you that. And that's what he did that day. So there is things in your family line that you can't stand but God's about to restore and renew and make brand new. Some of you never even seen before that currently belongs to you. It's in your DNA and you're missing out on it. He's going to do that throughout open heavens and for the times to come we just have to set our faith. So father we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus. We thank you Lord God. You are fire. Amen. We thank you that you are wind that you blow through us. And you just go through our soul and blow out the things that don't belong there. You are fire that you burn out all impure thoughts and the intent of our heart would be made right when it comes to open heavens and when it comes to just encounters with you. That you would bring us to a place where we are made right before you with the right intention no selfishness, no antichrist that will be right in your heart. And Lord that we will be able to forgive where we came from and receive the good that was there. Light it up in us. Light up the giftings, light up the scenes, light up the purpose of where we came from and where we are presently and where we are going. That's what the prophetic does. It shows you big picture. Give us the strength to move into detail to detail to get to that big picture. And anything we're going through now just remember Mary went through it too right after her mandate. Mary went through it. Thank you Lord God that you are bringing us through how when the Holy Spirit comes up on us we receive that now in Jesus name.
