I believe he is asking me to address something that I had no intention of addressing. Just stay in your spots if you would. You don't have to leave. Thank you. I want to bring something out that I think many Christians are not aware of. And it goes right along with what we are talking about right now. Hopefully I can find it. Here it is. I'm just going to grab the picture from the Old Testament. I won't take the time to go to the New Testament. Let me just read a couple of pieces out of Numbers 15. Verse 22, I'm in the NIV. Now, if you unintentionally fail to keep any of these commands, the Lord gave Moses verse 24. And if this is done unintentionally without the community being aware of it, then there's offering for the sin. And he describes that. He explains that. The priest will make atonement, verse 25, for the whole community. And they will be forgiven for it was not intentional. And they have brought to the Lord for their wrong in offering made by fire and sin offering. Verse 27, if one person sins unintentionally, then that person must bring the offering. In verse 28, the priest will make atonement. And in the verse 28, he will be forgiven. Verse 30, but if anyone sins defiantly or intentionally, that person must be cut off from his people. Because he has despised the Lord's word and broken his commands. That person must surely be cut off. His guilt remains upon him. The same thing is said, white and gold there. It's in Hebrews 10, verse 26. If we deliberately, intentionally, deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sin is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. Israel is a picture of those of us living for God, the church. Did you know that intentional sin was not forgiven in the Old Testament? Unintentional sin was covered by the sacrifice. Intentional and like one of the, I think the NIV said, defiant sin. In other words, this isn't a one-time choice. This is a lifestyle of, I'm not going to do this. I'm going to do my own thing. And it's sin. It was not forgiven in the Old Testament. Surprise, surprise, if we deliberately keep on sinning, same thing, chapter 10, verse 26 of Hebrews, it's not a one-time choice. It's a lifestyle we're living in. I know this is sin. I know it's wrong. But I'm going to deliberately keep on doing it. It's not forgiven. I'll just go and God ask forgiveness. It's not forgiven. Neither Old Testament nor New Testament, it's not forgiven. We can't play that game with God. You say, well, grace should be able to cover that. If, quote the rest of that verse, He continually pours out grace on those who are humble enough to receive it. Grace can cover everything if we will humble ourselves to receive the grace. Deliberately choosing to do what we know God does not want us to do is not humility. It's pride and arrogance. I honestly believe this morning He's waiting for some of us to get over our pride and arrogance and stop deliberately intentionally living a lifestyle of sin. And thinking we're okay. I'm a believer. Well, so are the devils. That's not a chip in your chart. I'm a believer. That's great. That's where we all start and we need to stay believers, but at some point we actually need to submit. And we might have one, two, three things hidden in the closet that is an intentional, deliberate lifestyle of sin. Let's call it what it is. Sin. And God's saying, I'm waiting for you to deal with that. As long as it's deliberate and intentional on our side, there's no forgiveness. That's both old and New Testament. There's no forgiveness. The only thing that remains is waiting for the consuming. How did he say it? Let me read it again. No sacrifice for sin is left, verse 27, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire which will consume the enemies of God. And then he goes on and explains himself. And then verse 31, it is a dreadful thing to fall in the hands of the living God. When you're living in deliberate sin, it's a dreadful thing. Grace covers when we're humble enough to ask for it. When we have these hidden things in our life, these things in the closet, so to speak, and many times even the public doesn't know, it's something we do at home, it's secret, it's private. And we know God's not in favor of it. But we deliberately just keep on living in it. That is extremely thin ice, dangerous ground. Because you're literally living in something that has not been forgiven and won't be forgiven until the attitude changes of, okay God help me get over this, I'm going to quit deliberately and intentionally doing this. So since this is something you have to choose to do at home in your personal and your private life, wherever that may be, I'm not going to ask you to come to the front and we pray with you. But I believe the Lord is waiting on us to deal with that. And I will say according to Hebrews, your salvation is at stake. Or why would he say there's only one thing left for you? It's the consuming fire of God. And he throws it, he throws those people, he was writing to the Hebrews church, he wasn't writing to unbelievers. He throws those people into enemy status with God because of their willful defiance of God. As Christians, which is like, that's contradictory. Well yeah, but that's how they were living and you know what, that's how many people live today. We're Christians, but we're living in willful defiance of God. God says you're my enemy. So only one thing waiting for you is the judgment and the fire of God. So, without any fanfare or anything, I'm going to pray, this is a choice morning for you. This is a choice, we got to make a choice this moment. He's calling you to a choice. What are you going to do with this? And you don't have to be perfect, you don't have to get it perfectly right from here forward. You're going to have to grow out, get sanctified, sanctification is a process. You're going to have to get sanctified out of this, but your attitude needs a change. You can't keep holding that attitude and be right with God. So Father, I pray in Jesus' name right now that whoever the ones are that I'm speaking to, whether here or online, that they make the right choice. Holy Spirit, this is your job to convince us of what is wrong and convince us of what is right. So Holy Spirit, I fully say I can't do anything more than what I just said, I spoke the word. Your job is to touch the hearts of the people. And I pray in the name of Jesus that right now some lifestyles change. The heart repents, asks forgiveness and turns to go the other direction. And as a result of that repentance, that mind change and the turn of direction, there is a work in their life by you Holy Spirit that sanctifies this thing out of them. It is not okay for us to intentionally, deliberately keep on sinning. It is not okay. Lord, like you said, in Hebrews 10, read a little further, we are literally insulting the grace of God when we do that. Lord, we know your grace is given to free us, not give us permission to keep doing the old way, the sinful way. So I'm asking in Jesus' name, by your spirit, change the hearts of the men and women that you love so dearly and that you're calling this morning and saying you got to stop this. This is going to destroy you, you've got to stop this. Change their hearts, change their motive, change their attitude. Whoever we may be, in Jesus' name. Braden, could you re-sing that chorus again and change the word rather than we wait for Him? He waits for us. Could you change that wording a bit and re-sing that a couple of times? He waits for you. Lord, soften our hearts. Soften our hearts. We repent of our stubbornness. We repent of our stiff neck. We repent of our hardened hearts. Thank you, Jesus, for the picture of Revelation 3 where you stand at our hearts door and you knock. Again, you were talking to the church. You weren't talking to the unsaved or unbelievers. You were talking to the church who had lost her way. You stand at the door and you knock saying, Let me in. We can still fix this. We can still sit down and deal with this. Let me in. I pray that over this congregation and anybody watching online, let Him in. Let Him in to those deepest, secret places. He knows they're there anyway. Open the door. Let Him in. Let Him in. In Jesus' name. In Jesus' name. In Jesus' name. In Jesus' name. Holy Spirit, just do your work. Just do your work, I pray. The Lord says, shame is not of my kingdom. Shame is not of my kingdom. Shame is an ungodly, demonic thing. Do not allow it to hold you back. Shame is not of me. I have instituted repentance. Repentance is celebrated in my kingdom. Does not my word say that the angels rejoice at the repentance of one sinner. Repentance is celebrated in my kingdom. I do not shame people to try to cause behavior change. I do not shame people. I call them to repentance. And you bring your guilt. You bring your shame. You bring the deeds that are not of me. You bring your broken heart. You bring your emotions. You bring all of you. As the writer penned, I surrender all. You bring all of you and lay it at the foot of the cross. And I and everyone in my kingdom rejoice and the sound of jubilation and cheering and exaltation rise like a thunder in my kingdom when someone on this earth repents. I call you to repentance, not to shame. Don't allow your shame of what has happened and what you're into to keep you from stepping forward and repenting because you have nothing to be ashamed for from the perspective of my kingdom. What you are doing does not diminish your value. You mean as much to me today in the middle of sin as you will mean to me on the day you stand before me. What you're doing does not diminish your value to me but what you're doing will affect your future because it what comes out of the heart of man is what defiles him. Let me get this out of you. Let me get this out of you. Do not let shame cause you to stutter step here. Well, there's Jesus who is called the master of the church. I am not the master of the church. Jesus the definition of the word his name not the word but his name Lord the first definition of Lord is master. So there's the master of the church weighing in on this. In Jesus name I pray for anybody online watching live or going to watch this recording. In Jesus name shame is not part of our kingdom. We refuse to walk in it. We refuse to live by it or its dictates. You will not have rule or reign or sway in our lives. I command anything going on with anybody watching online. Now we're the recording. I take authority over shame. I bind you in the name of Jesus and I command you off. Leave them, leave them and I call for the glory of God to come and replace that in their lives. The love of God to come and replace that in the name of Jesus. Leave, leave, leave them right now. Leave and be gone and never return. We are not of the kingdom of darkness. We're of the kingdom of light and we will walk in the benefits and the privileges of it and shame is not one of them. Be gone in Jesus name. Thank you Lord.
