WEBVTT 00:00.000 --> 00:06.180 Ephesians chapter 4. How are you today? Well, good. I'm glad you're good. 00:09.460 --> 00:18.100 It was a couple of weekends ago, I remember saying to you that things have been funky, like people are describing. 00:18.260 --> 00:24.000 It's just so funky. There's like a thing, there's like, you know, in the spirit realm or in their house or... 00:24.500 --> 00:32.580 things are being brought up and being brought forth that people thought they were over or thought they had already conquered 00:34.080 --> 00:40.520 or something of the flesh just showed up and they're like, where'd you come from? You know, it's that type of thing. 00:40.660 --> 00:44.480 And then when they go to address it, that's how they describe it. It's felt funky. 00:45.080 --> 00:50.700 And so we tried to deal with a little bit of that before, but we're going to go this morning. 00:50.700 --> 01:00.080 And I talked about this at TBO for those of you who were there last night just because we want to keep everything moving in the same direction. 01:01.000 --> 01:09.820 So I'm going to mention it today and then add to it a little bit differently. It's Ephesians 4 verse 26. 01:11.220 --> 01:22.360 Be angry at sin, at immorality, at injustice, at ungodly behavior, yet do not sin. 01:22.540 --> 01:28.040 So the King James says, go ahead and be angry, but don't sin in your anger, right? 01:28.580 --> 01:34.140 But you have to read before, like when it's given you something that you're supposed to be, 01:34.140 --> 01:39.300 it's usually connected to something he already said. So you've got to go back in the beginning part of the chapter 01:39.300 --> 01:44.780 and he's dealing with all kinds of, you know, issues and this is how you handle this and this is how you handle that. 01:44.880 --> 01:50.500 And then on top of it, be angry at sin is what that means there. 01:51.500 --> 01:56.020 So when I teach on anger resolution, this is one of the things that people get confused with. 01:56.120 --> 02:02.380 I thought anger is a sin. No, you're supposed to be angry, but at the right thing, right? 02:02.380 --> 02:06.900 And your interpretation of anger is whatever you saw when you were growing up. 02:06.920 --> 02:10.480 That's where the problem comes in. That's how you see it. 02:10.700 --> 02:15.160 It's just like it might be just, you know, you're seeing somebody be screamed at and slapped and everything else. 02:15.440 --> 02:19.920 Well, anger can just be a boundary. I can say, hey, we don't do this here. 02:21.300 --> 02:25.880 Oh, I'm not way over here, but I'm drawing a boundary and I'm having a boundary. 02:25.880 --> 02:32.980 So be angry, but at sin, at immorality, at injustice, at ungodly behavior. 02:33.300 --> 02:37.480 And I think of a lot of us are pretty angry at some of those things right now. 02:37.820 --> 02:44.040 And, you know, it took that to wake us up. It just shows how low our boundaries were for so long. 02:44.700 --> 02:51.000 That now it's like it has to come to such a degree of such a huge immorality, 02:51.000 --> 02:56.200 such at the deepest, darkest places. And suddenly we're like, whoa, hold on a minute. 02:56.520 --> 03:01.200 We don't want that here in America, right? And some were like, I don't know, it's okay. 03:01.600 --> 03:05.220 But it's definitely divided us out all across this world. 03:05.820 --> 03:13.620 And really what we're supposed to use anger for, anger is that emotion that comes up in red flags things. 03:14.500 --> 03:18.480 On the beginning of heading toward red flagging something, you yellow flag it. 03:18.480 --> 03:22.660 Like, oh, this is a concern. And I'm watching out for this or whatever. 03:22.820 --> 03:27.960 But once it crosses that line like red flag, no, it requires us to have a boundary. 03:28.400 --> 03:34.500 It's the same thing in prayer. God will show you some things and you'll yellow flag it. 03:35.380 --> 03:38.440 Right? There'll be a concern. There'll be like, I need to know more about this. 03:38.740 --> 03:41.400 What's really going on? God reveal this, show me. 03:41.580 --> 03:46.020 And you'll start pushing into something and suddenly the need for red flag comes up. 03:46.020 --> 03:49.820 And that's when we have to have the boundary. 03:50.080 --> 03:53.360 Now, the boundary we talked about last night, I'll say the same thing here. 03:53.940 --> 03:57.020 A boundary is not something you draw on a person or a thing. 03:58.480 --> 04:01.640 Boundary is something you draw for yourself. Right? 04:02.380 --> 04:05.780 And so we don't like, most, the average person doesn't like confrontation. 04:06.580 --> 04:12.320 We've talked about care, care-fronting a situation rather than confronting a situation. 04:12.320 --> 04:17.840 We don't like that because it's the feeling of like, I guess I got to go pick a fight with somebody and see who wins. 04:18.500 --> 04:23.960 No, care-fronting is I care enough about you and I assume you care enough about me that we could actually solve this. 04:24.320 --> 04:25.600 We're going to front this, right? 04:27.220 --> 04:32.820 And so it's giving us permission to have that red flag feeling. 04:33.440 --> 04:36.980 It's not giving us permission to act out, but it's like red flag. 04:36.980 --> 04:40.760 And then there should be something that follows that. 04:41.160 --> 04:47.260 That, you know, it gives a boundary for ourselves or the boundary is based in what is righteous. 04:47.900 --> 04:52.060 And then it says, you know, don't sin when you're doing that. 04:52.180 --> 04:54.320 Do not let your anger cause you shame. 04:54.860 --> 05:01.320 Don't do something to try to do the right thing, but do it in the wrong way that the next thing, you know, you're in shame. 05:01.920 --> 05:05.500 You're like, ooh, I think I said that wrong or went about that wrong. 05:06.180 --> 05:09.320 Nor allow it to last until the sun goes down. 05:09.820 --> 05:13.400 This is very spiritual, especially for watchmen. 05:13.880 --> 05:17.420 Well, it is for everybody because we're all supposed to be watchmen to whatever degree. 05:17.660 --> 05:24.640 But the deeper you get into intercessory prayer, first parts of prayer is really cleansing yourself. 05:25.860 --> 05:28.860 Making sure your attitude is right, making sure all those things are right. 05:28.920 --> 05:32.560 And we go through that, you know, the Lord's prayer honors him. 05:32.560 --> 05:35.880 And then it says, I want to eat of you, right? 05:36.560 --> 05:39.960 Daily bread. And that goes right into, yeah, forgive my sins. 05:40.460 --> 05:41.740 And I choose to forgive others. 05:42.220 --> 05:46.060 It wants the prayers laid out in a way like, let's clean this slate here. 05:46.140 --> 05:50.400 So we've got a good ground to stand on before we get into other things, right? 05:51.020 --> 05:58.500 And then it says, and do not give the devil an opportunity to lead you into sin by holding a grudge 05:58.500 --> 06:02.900 or nurturing anger or harboring resentment or cultivating bitterness. 06:04.020 --> 06:08.640 We usually don't quote that that way, but that's how the amplified breaks it down and the real meaning of it. 06:09.780 --> 06:15.080 The King James would say, don't give the devil a foothold. A lot of us have quoted that. 06:16.160 --> 06:18.340 And I love when God does this to me. 06:18.780 --> 06:21.200 I'll say, yeah, I'm not supposed to give the devil a foothold. 06:21.320 --> 06:25.120 We're having a conversation with him and then all of a sudden he'll just ask me, what's a foothold? 06:25.120 --> 06:30.120 And I'm like, well, it's, you know, you're not supposed to give like... 06:30.680 --> 06:33.140 You don't have the real deep meaning to it. 06:33.380 --> 06:40.200 And so I looked that up and I want to make sure we all know that the word foothold there means sure footing. 06:40.780 --> 06:45.080 A position usable as a base for further advancement. 06:45.640 --> 06:49.040 You do not want to give him something to stand on that sure. 06:49.520 --> 06:53.460 Like suddenly it's easy for him to stand there, right? 06:54.140 --> 07:00.740 Like, and it doesn't say in the devil came against me and, you know, and then I got angry and this is what happened. 07:00.940 --> 07:02.980 And it was him. It was the devil made me do it. 07:03.080 --> 07:06.960 But no, it's like you don't give the devil a foothold. 07:07.300 --> 07:11.720 So it really comes back to us making sure we're cleansed again. 07:12.160 --> 07:15.000 And we don't want him having any sure footing. 07:15.660 --> 07:21.280 You know, I've watched and I've tried this, you know, those sticks that they have. 07:21.280 --> 07:24.400 And you fight with each other with those sticks. 07:24.620 --> 07:26.060 And sometimes it's in Taekwondo. 07:26.360 --> 07:31.140 My son has some of them for Russian martial arts and wraps you in the fingers. 07:31.300 --> 07:33.600 It hurts, but, you know, you're doing that. 07:34.100 --> 07:39.640 One of the big things about it is you can't be an uneven ground. 07:40.340 --> 07:43.860 It's very difficult to be whipping this thing around. 07:44.080 --> 07:47.940 And then you don't have any place to stand that's secure. 07:48.640 --> 07:52.360 Because part of the base of you being able to use your upper body and do that 07:52.360 --> 07:54.420 is the fact that your feet are sure. 07:56.360 --> 07:58.400 We don't want to give him sure feet. 07:59.880 --> 08:00.100 Amen? 08:01.000 --> 08:03.400 Where it makes it easy for him to stand somewhere. 08:03.480 --> 08:04.840 So we're not going to give him a foothold. 08:05.160 --> 08:06.700 So we're going to look at this real quick, 08:06.720 --> 08:09.940 and then we're going to go on to something else that the Lord had showed me. 08:10.060 --> 08:12.820 Because we're going to make sure that we're in the right spot right now. 08:12.860 --> 08:14.240 Because things still are funky. 08:16.360 --> 08:18.520 That's the biblical word for it. 08:18.980 --> 08:21.640 And so, and do not give the devil an opportunity, 08:21.920 --> 08:25.100 which is another way to say it, to lead you into sin by, 08:25.360 --> 08:27.020 and he's going to use these different things. 08:27.440 --> 08:28.480 Holding a grudge. 08:29.060 --> 08:31.000 Last night I used my phone as an example. 08:31.860 --> 08:35.900 If I give this to Crystal, and, or I go to hand it out like this, 08:36.000 --> 08:38.920 and she tries to take it, and I go, no, that's mine. 08:39.180 --> 08:40.160 And she's trying to get a hold of it. 08:40.180 --> 08:41.800 No, I'm holding the grudge. 08:42.340 --> 08:43.280 Like you ain't getting it. 08:43.280 --> 08:44.940 We're not going to resolve this. 08:45.280 --> 08:46.060 You don't understand. 08:46.500 --> 08:48.160 I actually want to stay angry. 08:48.340 --> 08:50.000 I'm hurt. I'm mad or whatever. 08:50.060 --> 08:51.780 So you're actually holding the grudge. 08:51.900 --> 08:53.060 You're holding it to you. 08:53.280 --> 08:54.160 That's one way. 08:54.800 --> 08:57.060 And then it says, or nurturing anger. 08:57.940 --> 09:01.940 Well, the word nurturing is like you would do, 09:02.100 --> 09:06.160 it's mothering, or it's like you would do around a campfire. 09:06.500 --> 09:09.220 How many of you like sitting around campfire and poking it? 09:10.160 --> 09:11.220 Why are you poking it? 09:11.220 --> 09:14.160 Well, you want to nurture it, and you're going to add little things, 09:14.240 --> 09:15.820 put some leaves over here, whatever, 09:15.960 --> 09:17.700 because you want this thing to keep going, 09:17.900 --> 09:22.060 and sometimes you want to add it so it gets big flame, right? 09:22.720 --> 09:24.660 Especially if you feel out in the cold. 09:26.340 --> 09:27.900 They hurt me so bad. 09:28.220 --> 09:30.920 Then you just fan that flame and you get it really big. 09:31.320 --> 09:33.200 So here you're holding a grudge, 09:33.300 --> 09:35.480 or we're nurturing something. 09:36.100 --> 09:38.720 We're actually adding fuel to the fire. 09:39.600 --> 09:40.940 Or harboring resentment. 09:41.200 --> 09:44.200 The word resentment, when I take that apart, 09:44.400 --> 09:48.120 it's like something was sent, and now we're going to resent it. 09:49.500 --> 09:49.900 Resentment. 09:50.780 --> 09:53.200 And so that means your thoughts over and over, 09:54.700 --> 09:56.660 those thoughts that you feel like you can't get over, 09:57.840 --> 09:58.840 how do those work? 09:59.280 --> 10:01.040 They're sent, and then they're sent again. 10:01.560 --> 10:03.380 And they're like, stop, I don't want to think about that, 10:03.380 --> 10:04.280 and then they're sent again. 10:04.720 --> 10:07.820 And to harbor that means you actually let the boat park 10:08.340 --> 10:10.500 in the spot, dock, right? 10:10.660 --> 10:12.820 Come on into the harbor and come dock over here 10:12.820 --> 10:13.620 and we're going to tie it up. 10:13.880 --> 10:16.520 So it stays here, and this thing will just keep 10:16.520 --> 10:17.960 re-sending itself. 10:18.800 --> 10:19.540 It's resentment. 10:20.200 --> 10:22.660 So you can harbor, you can nurture, 10:23.380 --> 10:25.760 you can hold the grudge, 10:25.940 --> 10:28.860 and then it says, or cultivating bitterness. 10:30.700 --> 10:33.700 To cultivate bitterness, you actually have to help it out 10:33.700 --> 10:35.260 where the ground works, 10:35.460 --> 10:37.580 where it is the main thing you're thinking about. 10:37.580 --> 10:39.440 You know, you cultivate corn, 10:39.600 --> 10:41.480 so that the corn is the main thing that grows. 10:43.080 --> 10:43.520 Right? 10:44.520 --> 10:47.680 You cultivate bitterness, that's the main thing I want to grow. 10:48.140 --> 10:49.660 And a lot of times people will do that 10:49.660 --> 10:51.260 because that's their power. 10:51.680 --> 10:53.420 That's what makes them feel like they're having 10:53.420 --> 10:55.940 a boundary for themselves and that they're protecting themselves. 10:56.380 --> 11:00.740 And if we let go of the thing that we're cultivating, 11:00.820 --> 11:02.400 then it just feels like all is lost 11:02.400 --> 11:05.260 and I won't have any say so, I'll just get run over. 11:05.260 --> 11:07.140 So I need to hold on to this bitterness. 11:08.560 --> 11:10.260 So he's saying, don't, this is how, 11:10.380 --> 11:14.600 if you want the ground so sure for the devil to stand on 11:14.600 --> 11:17.320 and him be able to take the posture of fighting, 11:17.560 --> 11:20.700 even a boxer, you're not like this, you know, all over, 11:20.800 --> 11:22.660 like try to box when you're on a surfboard. 11:23.340 --> 11:24.960 You're going to be all over the place, right? 11:25.120 --> 11:28.380 So it's one of those things where you're in a spot 11:28.380 --> 11:31.380 where you're sure-footed and it's so much your stance. 11:31.580 --> 11:33.420 And if we give him that, 11:33.420 --> 11:36.440 he's going to encourage us to hold the grudge. 11:36.960 --> 11:38.840 No, I'm not giving that to you. I'm not giving it up. 11:39.100 --> 11:41.400 I'm still mad, right? 11:41.480 --> 11:43.200 Some people can hold grudges for years. 11:44.100 --> 11:44.620 Like, who? 11:45.120 --> 11:49.060 And I think these things are all combined after a while 11:49.060 --> 11:50.260 because it's not just holding a grudge 11:50.260 --> 11:51.360 because then you have to get bitter 11:51.880 --> 11:54.940 and there is a fanning of the fire to stay that way. 11:55.320 --> 11:57.240 But in any case, holding a grudge, 11:57.380 --> 11:59.820 nurturing that anger, harboring resentment, 11:59.860 --> 12:01.340 or cultivating bitterness, 12:01.860 --> 12:05.600 sets it up where in the fight, he's sure-footed now. 12:06.300 --> 12:08.660 And we got to kick his feet out from underneath him. 12:08.880 --> 12:11.160 Who does he think he is, right? 12:11.760 --> 12:13.400 But we can't put the blame on him 12:13.400 --> 12:17.620 because if we were the one who put him in the spot 12:17.620 --> 12:20.320 where he's sure-footed now, yeah, he's going to pop you. 12:22.400 --> 12:22.800 Right? 12:24.140 --> 12:25.600 And some of us get an uppercut 12:25.600 --> 12:26.780 and we're laid out and we're like, 12:26.860 --> 12:29.480 what happened? You got to get up and regroup or whatever. 12:29.480 --> 12:31.660 And we're mad that that happened 12:31.660 --> 12:33.340 because that feels like another injustice 12:33.340 --> 12:35.380 and we become more bitter 12:35.380 --> 12:38.300 about how life is just, God's not there for me 12:38.300 --> 12:39.240 and you don't understand. 12:39.780 --> 12:40.900 See, how to all tie together. 12:41.600 --> 12:45.220 So this is what gives the devil the foothold 12:45.220 --> 12:46.920 and we don't want that to happen. 12:47.260 --> 12:49.900 We can be angry and have a good boundary for ourselves. 12:50.820 --> 12:51.480 You know? 12:52.800 --> 12:55.900 Like you mentioned disease or whatever, 12:56.160 --> 12:57.140 it's instant for me. 12:58.480 --> 13:01.060 Yeah, in the spirit way I escalate 13:01.060 --> 13:02.380 as you could say it that way. 13:02.560 --> 13:04.940 I'm not over here in my flesh, but I'm like, no. 13:05.720 --> 13:07.480 It's just automatic. No, boundary. 13:08.440 --> 13:10.880 No, I ain't tolerating that. That's a cold get out. 13:11.680 --> 13:13.360 Right? It's just automatic for me. 13:13.680 --> 13:15.200 I have a pretty strong boundary 13:15.200 --> 13:16.760 when it comes to that kind of stuff. 13:17.060 --> 13:18.580 And that's how my speech goes 13:18.580 --> 13:20.120 and everything follows that. 13:20.500 --> 13:23.040 So there's this. 13:23.980 --> 13:25.680 The other thing that happened with me 13:25.680 --> 13:27.040 is the Lord had woke me up 13:27.680 --> 13:29.080 three o'clock in the morning yesterday 13:29.560 --> 13:32.220 and then, you know, once he's done talking to you, 13:32.420 --> 13:34.240 I could maybe go lay back down. 13:34.960 --> 13:37.700 I was just wide awake and I didn't work out. 13:38.000 --> 13:41.920 So needless to say, I'm running on a need for sleep 13:41.920 --> 13:42.420 right now. 13:43.640 --> 13:44.860 In any case, 13:45.800 --> 13:47.500 the word draws. 13:48.020 --> 13:49.420 We don't use the word draws, 13:49.640 --> 13:52.260 but this is what I woke up to the word draws. 13:52.800 --> 13:54.420 And I saw a picture 13:54.420 --> 13:57.020 the Lord had shown me 13:57.020 --> 13:59.000 like something streaming out 13:59.000 --> 14:01.500 or oozing out, you know? 14:01.720 --> 14:03.160 And so I thought, well, 14:03.280 --> 14:05.340 what truly is draws? 14:05.740 --> 14:07.500 And look that up. 14:08.060 --> 14:10.620 And it is the scum 14:10.620 --> 14:13.220 or unwanted material 14:13.220 --> 14:15.780 that forms on the surface 14:15.780 --> 14:17.400 of molten metal. 14:18.480 --> 14:19.820 It's an impurity. 14:20.460 --> 14:22.420 So like if you were going to... 14:22.420 --> 14:23.960 I was watching, I looked it up, 14:24.340 --> 14:26.760 you know, like the Bible talks about silver 14:27.340 --> 14:29.500 and pulling the draws out of the silver. 14:29.780 --> 14:32.180 It makes the silver more valuable or more pure. 14:32.640 --> 14:34.820 And so that's exactly, you know, 14:35.420 --> 14:36.660 that trail that I followed. 14:37.060 --> 14:40.080 And I watched a video of a guy, you know, 14:40.700 --> 14:42.340 trying to make silver 14:42.340 --> 14:44.640 the way that it should be for a necklace or whatever. 14:45.140 --> 14:47.640 And it just looked like he was breaking up rock. 14:47.900 --> 14:49.900 It just looked like, well, that don't even look like silver. 14:49.900 --> 14:52.940 And then he heated it and he watched over it 14:52.940 --> 14:54.660 and he was doing this whole thing. 14:54.840 --> 14:57.540 And then he poured it out 14:57.540 --> 14:59.000 and it still didn't look like silver. 14:59.560 --> 15:02.820 But he kept doing this whole process of heat 15:02.820 --> 15:05.520 to the point the draws came out of it 15:05.520 --> 15:07.540 and then he puts it in water 15:07.540 --> 15:09.640 and it cools it off and all of a sudden 15:09.640 --> 15:11.000 there it is, silver. 15:11.720 --> 15:13.160 Then he first has to work it. 15:14.620 --> 15:16.160 So scripture indicates 15:16.160 --> 15:20.200 that God pulls the draws out of us. 15:22.280 --> 15:22.540 Right? 15:23.660 --> 15:24.940 And he does it by what? 15:25.980 --> 15:26.900 By fire. 15:27.740 --> 15:29.160 It's called the refiner's fire. 15:29.980 --> 15:31.480 It's that place where you were fine 15:31.480 --> 15:32.960 but now you need to be refined 15:32.960 --> 15:34.860 because you don't look like silver 15:34.860 --> 15:36.800 or gold just quite yet. 15:37.400 --> 15:40.400 And part of the funky that's going on, 15:40.520 --> 15:41.440 that funky feeling 15:41.440 --> 15:44.380 is the fact that draws is coming out of this body. 15:46.520 --> 15:47.940 Draws is coming out of TBO. 15:48.460 --> 15:49.960 Draws is coming out of the region. 15:50.340 --> 15:52.140 And we're like, I thought we were believing 15:52.140 --> 15:54.560 all the right things and we even repented 15:54.560 --> 15:56.160 and we're doing certain things 15:56.160 --> 15:57.800 and you're coming forward on certain things. 15:58.060 --> 15:59.720 So shouldn't that equal happy? 16:01.380 --> 16:01.680 Right? 16:02.120 --> 16:03.820 You know how when you get in the presence of God 16:03.820 --> 16:04.680 the first thing is like, 16:04.720 --> 16:06.380 if we could just get in the presence of God 16:06.380 --> 16:08.040 we'd all be just so happy. 16:09.580 --> 16:12.040 We'd all be aware of where we're off. 16:12.860 --> 16:15.120 The stronger you get in the presence of God 16:15.120 --> 16:17.900 you see his love like never before 16:17.900 --> 16:19.360 but you're very aware of yourself. 16:21.440 --> 16:22.560 Yeah, right? 16:23.200 --> 16:25.260 So the glory of God will do that. 16:25.600 --> 16:27.800 So when we ask, come, let your glory come. 16:28.260 --> 16:29.520 We're asking for conviction. 16:29.720 --> 16:30.780 We're asking for convincing. 16:31.220 --> 16:32.700 We're asking for awareness. 16:32.980 --> 16:34.960 So we become so self-aware 16:34.960 --> 16:36.980 because here we are now 16:36.980 --> 16:40.540 and there's anything he wants to refine us in that fire 16:40.540 --> 16:43.900 that refining fire will pull out the dross. 16:44.620 --> 16:47.540 And some of what's coming out now is generational 16:47.540 --> 16:49.100 for some people. 16:50.200 --> 16:53.520 Like you felt like it had messed with you for years 16:53.520 --> 16:55.220 and suddenly here it is. 16:57.040 --> 16:59.560 Well, you have to blame it on all the prayers 16:59.560 --> 17:02.740 we participated in because we asked for the glory. 17:03.180 --> 17:04.740 We asked for his presence. 17:04.980 --> 17:06.540 We're having communion. 17:06.920 --> 17:09.560 How many of you are still taking communion regularly? 17:10.180 --> 17:12.940 Remember, Amanda Hill had prophesied that out 17:12.940 --> 17:16.620 and, you know, it's just good to do it. 17:16.740 --> 17:19.480 But at the same time it was an assignment 17:19.480 --> 17:22.080 for us to really pay close attention to that. 17:22.720 --> 17:25.520 Well, you can take communion religiously 17:25.520 --> 17:27.160 and just be like, oh, there it is. 17:27.280 --> 17:29.340 And thank you, Lord, and kind of move on. 17:29.680 --> 17:31.940 But you apply the blood of Jesus. 17:32.140 --> 17:34.260 It's going to pull out the dross. 17:36.220 --> 17:36.580 Amen? 17:37.420 --> 17:41.300 You apply His whole body, you know, 17:41.380 --> 17:44.300 or His broken body to your body 17:44.300 --> 17:46.280 for the healing power. 17:46.380 --> 17:48.160 It's going to pull out the dross. 17:48.900 --> 17:51.600 The dross is that thing that also 17:52.280 --> 17:55.200 the person that is the metal worker 17:55.200 --> 17:56.800 or I don't know what you would call him 17:56.800 --> 17:59.640 that's working this silver or gold, 18:00.020 --> 18:01.460 when they're sitting there, 18:01.560 --> 18:05.520 they're cultivating, they're watching the fire. 18:05.520 --> 18:07.180 They're fanning the flame. 18:07.280 --> 18:08.660 It has to be perfect temperature. 18:08.840 --> 18:11.340 It's just like they're on it like white on rice. 18:12.180 --> 18:15.000 And because they know that you have to stay 18:15.000 --> 18:17.200 at a certain temperature for a certain length of time 18:17.200 --> 18:18.480 for this thing to happen. 18:20.260 --> 18:22.260 Bigger the piece of metal 18:22.260 --> 18:24.740 or bigger the piece of gold or whatever, 18:25.120 --> 18:26.580 the longer it's going to take. 18:27.160 --> 18:29.400 You know, when he's taken something out of our life, 18:29.440 --> 18:32.920 that is gross and he's turning it into something so beautiful. 18:36.120 --> 18:37.760 Yeah, we want the beautiful, 18:37.900 --> 18:39.940 but we got to get the dross out. 18:40.240 --> 18:43.200 And he is on to us in this, 18:43.480 --> 18:45.400 he's not being mean, he's being loving. 18:45.600 --> 18:47.600 He's literally taking us up on 18:47.600 --> 18:50.280 our covenant agreement with him that says, 18:50.880 --> 18:52.420 you know, yes, Lord, send me. 18:53.220 --> 18:55.700 Then he says, let me pull some dross out of you first. 18:57.500 --> 18:59.780 Yes, Lord, we want the building 18:59.780 --> 19:01.580 because that's the bigger part of the vision, 19:01.640 --> 19:02.660 which means new people, 19:02.780 --> 19:04.660 which means more going on, 19:04.660 --> 19:06.280 which means more effect in the region. 19:06.440 --> 19:08.520 Yes, Lord, yeah, choose me. I'm right here. 19:08.800 --> 19:10.700 Looking to and fro throughout the earth. 19:10.920 --> 19:12.200 I've told him this many times. 19:12.660 --> 19:14.500 Looking for someone who will stand in the gap 19:14.500 --> 19:15.940 and looking for somebody 19:15.940 --> 19:18.700 so that he might show his self strong. 19:19.420 --> 19:21.720 So I've always been like, I'm right here. 19:23.320 --> 19:25.020 Me, right? 19:25.300 --> 19:26.880 I don't want to be passed by on that. 19:27.100 --> 19:28.980 But as soon as you agree to that, 19:29.540 --> 19:30.500 stuff got to come out. 19:32.480 --> 19:33.000 Amen. 19:33.580 --> 19:34.540 That's Christianity. 19:35.720 --> 19:38.540 I think it's the memo has been big time missed 19:38.540 --> 19:40.940 for years where, you know, 19:41.240 --> 19:43.640 it's more like we're headed toward the glory. 19:44.160 --> 19:46.380 The power is so strong, you know. 19:46.780 --> 19:49.180 And I've got this prophecy and I've got this 19:49.180 --> 19:50.780 and it's always wonderful. 19:52.140 --> 19:53.700 You're going to go through some stuff. 19:54.240 --> 19:56.340 I just looked again at all the disciples 19:56.340 --> 19:58.000 and what they went through 19:58.000 --> 19:59.560 and each one how they died 19:59.560 --> 20:00.760 and all of that kind of stuff 20:00.760 --> 20:02.400 and the persecution that led up to it. 20:02.400 --> 20:03.940 And we don't even know the real story 20:03.940 --> 20:06.960 because it's not recorded in detail. 20:07.320 --> 20:08.160 I can't imagine. 20:09.420 --> 20:09.860 Right? 20:10.820 --> 20:14.100 But they started the church of the Lord Jesus Christ. 20:15.820 --> 20:16.900 They said yes. 20:17.100 --> 20:19.080 They started the church of the Lord Jesus Christ. 20:19.400 --> 20:20.840 Well, I want to start something. 20:21.920 --> 20:22.300 Right? 20:22.840 --> 20:24.420 I was telling my husband, let me go out 20:24.420 --> 20:25.260 and cause some trouble. 20:25.520 --> 20:26.580 And then you can help me solve it. 20:29.180 --> 20:30.840 People are like, what are you doing up north 20:30.840 --> 20:31.820 or wherever I'm going? 20:32.000 --> 20:33.580 I'm causing trouble so that he can come 20:33.580 --> 20:34.540 and help me solve it, right? 20:35.140 --> 20:37.960 Because I just poke into stuff and get it going 20:37.960 --> 20:40.440 because I want to see things open up. 20:40.680 --> 20:43.180 But there's always a hit when things open up. 20:43.320 --> 20:45.320 Now, this is where 20:45.320 --> 20:46.620 the church becomes fearful 20:47.760 --> 20:49.520 to not put themselves 20:49.520 --> 20:51.740 in the spot where we're ever take a hit. 20:52.860 --> 20:54.400 Because we want everything comfortable 20:56.240 --> 20:57.960 Christianity is never comfortable. 20:58.840 --> 21:01.020 You can be blessed like crazy 21:01.020 --> 21:02.460 but something still is required 21:02.460 --> 21:03.220 of you. 21:04.180 --> 21:06.140 And requirements make you uncomfortable. 21:07.920 --> 21:08.120 Amen. 21:08.980 --> 21:10.180 We're in the fight of faith 21:10.180 --> 21:12.820 so you still got to practice your faith. 21:13.260 --> 21:14.940 You still got to do these different things 21:14.940 --> 21:16.500 but if the dross really 21:16.500 --> 21:17.780 is the scum 21:18.120 --> 21:19.660 or the unwanted material 21:19.660 --> 21:21.440 that forms on the surface 21:22.680 --> 21:24.060 I want that gone. 21:24.800 --> 21:25.820 You want that gone? 21:26.640 --> 21:27.900 Like pull it out. 21:28.180 --> 21:29.760 Well, yeah, we saved that 21:29.760 --> 21:31.220 but then heat's going to come up. 21:33.120 --> 21:34.120 Heat's going to come up 21:34.120 --> 21:35.360 and you just got to let it happen. 21:36.820 --> 21:38.480 He's going to pull out the dross. 21:38.920 --> 21:40.160 So let's stand this morning. 21:43.860 --> 21:46.020 There's two messages here 21:46.020 --> 21:47.160 and I could have turned everything 21:47.160 --> 21:48.240 into a series even 21:48.240 --> 21:50.100 but the two things he wants 21:50.100 --> 21:51.340 us to pay attention to 21:51.340 --> 21:52.980 is in any area 21:52.980 --> 21:55.240 are we holding 21:55.240 --> 21:56.040 a grudge? 21:56.720 --> 21:57.920 We're not movable. 21:58.660 --> 22:01.060 To hold a grudge means it's right here in my heart 22:01.060 --> 22:02.300 and you don't get to touch it. 22:02.660 --> 22:04.040 I'm not resolving it. 22:04.160 --> 22:06.660 I'm mad at you. I'm whatever it is. 22:07.560 --> 22:09.060 And I want to say this 22:09.060 --> 22:10.200 sometimes we'll look and we'll go 22:10.200 --> 22:12.240 I don't think I'm doing that 22:12.240 --> 22:12.940 with other people. 22:13.700 --> 22:15.620 Are you doing that with yourself? 22:17.400 --> 22:18.760 You can hold a grudge 22:18.760 --> 22:19.860 against yourself. 22:24.240 --> 22:25.500 Just thrown that out, right? 22:26.220 --> 22:27.520 He also said 22:27.520 --> 22:28.800 we're not to hold a grudge. 22:28.940 --> 22:31.160 We're not to nurture or come along 22:31.160 --> 22:32.740 and add another log to the fire 22:32.740 --> 22:34.460 of the inappropriate anger 22:34.460 --> 22:36.360 or harbor resentment. 22:36.820 --> 22:37.940 Things that keep getting sent. 22:38.060 --> 22:40.840 We keep sending them again because we're going to harbor this thing. 22:40.940 --> 22:42.400 It's parked right here 22:42.400 --> 22:44.220 and we opened it up for that. 22:44.520 --> 22:46.420 Or cultivating bitterness. 22:46.740 --> 22:48.900 Like the main thing of that where I feel powerful 22:48.900 --> 22:50.720 is where I cultivate 22:50.720 --> 22:52.320 and I only want bitterness to grow. 22:52.440 --> 22:54.620 Now we would never say we'd want that 22:54.620 --> 22:56.780 but we're cultivating so that bitterness 22:56.780 --> 22:59.120 can grow because we see it as a power 22:59.120 --> 23:00.680 to get our own way. 23:01.700 --> 23:02.740 God's saying 23:02.740 --> 23:03.800 let's make sure. 23:05.340 --> 23:06.640 Right? He didn't point anybody out. 23:06.740 --> 23:09.020 He's not saying. But always make sure. 23:09.500 --> 23:11.100 Especially when things are funky. 23:11.740 --> 23:12.740 Because you want to make sure 23:12.740 --> 23:14.740 oh if it's funky and somebody's getting 23:14.740 --> 23:16.280 a little bit too sure-footed 23:16.280 --> 23:17.700 I'm going to take care of me first. 23:19.180 --> 23:20.940 Wash us in the blood of Jesus. 23:21.660 --> 23:23.320 So let's ask about this first. 23:24.560 --> 23:25.940 Let's just go before him. 23:26.480 --> 23:27.800 Father, we come before you 23:27.800 --> 23:28.700 in the name of Jesus. 23:29.340 --> 23:30.980 And we pray all for ourselves 23:30.980 --> 23:32.440 and for the church as a whole. 23:33.240 --> 23:35.400 Lord God, but we come before you. 23:36.120 --> 23:37.720 We don't want to hold grudges. 23:38.540 --> 23:39.820 We say that by faith 23:39.820 --> 23:41.900 even if we are against ourself, 23:42.260 --> 23:43.360 against you, 23:43.620 --> 23:44.920 against other people, 23:44.920 --> 23:47.020 against statements, 23:47.200 --> 23:48.820 against just anything that says 23:48.820 --> 23:50.080 I want to have my own way 23:50.080 --> 23:52.760 and I'll hold a grudge about it until I get it. 23:53.380 --> 23:55.020 Father, wash that 23:55.020 --> 23:55.960 out of us. 23:56.440 --> 23:58.480 Wash the ability 23:58.480 --> 24:01.120 out of us to just hold on to that. 24:01.320 --> 24:02.500 That we would just let it go. 24:03.620 --> 24:04.760 Cleanse us of any 24:04.760 --> 24:05.980 nurturing anger 24:06.820 --> 24:08.840 or any harboring resentment 24:09.620 --> 24:11.000 or cultivating bitterness. 24:12.680 --> 24:13.460 See, we're having 24:13.460 --> 24:14.780 a deliverance service right now. 24:16.260 --> 24:16.740 Deliver 24:17.540 --> 24:19.480 us from these things from our heart. 24:19.560 --> 24:21.160 Even the areas we just don't even know 24:21.160 --> 24:22.220 about it. We didn't see. 24:22.480 --> 24:24.120 I didn't notice I was doing that. 24:24.560 --> 24:26.300 God, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. 24:26.420 --> 24:28.260 Just wash me in your blood 24:28.880 --> 24:30.620 and wash us over with the water 24:30.620 --> 24:32.520 of the Word and cleanse us 24:33.500 --> 24:35.060 from all unrighteousness. 24:38.240 --> 24:39.380 And then we address 24:39.380 --> 24:40.800 the next part 24:41.280 --> 24:42.480 is any of that 24:42.480 --> 24:43.800 that looks like dross. 24:44.320 --> 24:46.520 Any of that that's in us, it might be something 24:46.520 --> 24:48.380 even different. Addiction 24:48.380 --> 24:50.740 we're dealing with. A cycle 24:50.740 --> 24:51.740 we're caught in. 24:52.880 --> 24:54.680 Things that have come up that you're 24:54.680 --> 24:56.580 saying now you... I didn't deal 24:56.580 --> 24:58.900 with this with you, Lord. You'll say that to us. 24:59.940 --> 25:00.760 For years 25:00.760 --> 25:02.600 and now you're putting your finger on it 25:02.600 --> 25:03.420 saying enough. 25:04.800 --> 25:06.580 Like, now we're going to deal with this 25:06.580 --> 25:08.260 enough. We need to rid 25:08.260 --> 25:10.160 this family line of this 25:10.160 --> 25:12.160 enough. And so 25:12.160 --> 25:14.200 we come before your Lord and we thank 25:14.200 --> 25:16.360 you that you're turning up the heat. 25:17.440 --> 25:18.280 Thank you. 25:19.080 --> 25:20.380 Thank you. It's 25:20.380 --> 25:22.280 not the fire of hell that's touching 25:22.280 --> 25:24.140 us. It's the fire of God 25:24.140 --> 25:26.580 that we welcome. It's the refiner's 25:26.580 --> 25:28.120 fire. Hell doesn't have 25:28.120 --> 25:29.580 a right to burn up stuff. 25:30.000 --> 25:31.520 We say no to that. 25:32.480 --> 25:34.260 But the way you put us 25:34.260 --> 25:36.340 in the fire, Lord God 25:37.460 --> 25:38.540 you're burning out 25:38.540 --> 25:40.580 all dross. It's softening right now 25:40.580 --> 25:42.500 and stuff. I mean, I'm going to tell 25:42.500 --> 25:43.760 you people dross 25:44.230 --> 25:46.440 is hard. And when it gets 25:46.440 --> 25:48.120 under heat, suddenly it just starts 25:48.120 --> 25:50.140 running. This is like lava almost 25:50.140 --> 25:52.380 I saw it. This kind of move 25:52.380 --> 25:54.300 like that. That's what it feels like 25:54.300 --> 25:56.420 in your life. When it starts coming 25:56.420 --> 25:57.440 out it's just like... 25:59.720 --> 26:02.120 And you're like... 26:03.000 --> 26:04.440 Amen. Let's have 26:04.440 --> 26:05.060 the band come. 26:06.520 --> 26:08.340 At the same time, we're going to continue 26:08.340 --> 26:08.920 on this. 26:21.700 --> 26:24.220 We messed around in the region 26:24.220 --> 26:26.340 and called some things that were not 26:26.340 --> 26:28.280 as though they are now. 26:29.180 --> 26:30.980 We addressed witchcraft 26:30.980 --> 26:32.860 and so it is 26:32.860 --> 26:34.440 his mercy to 26:34.440 --> 26:36.100 send us through the fire 26:36.100 --> 26:37.800 to bring out any dross. 26:38.040 --> 26:39.280 So we're pure 26:40.540 --> 26:41.860 and in a spot 26:42.250 --> 26:44.280 of safety. And in a 26:44.280 --> 26:45.840 spot of more power. 26:46.120 --> 26:48.220 And in a spot of hearing him 26:48.220 --> 26:49.540 more acutely. 26:54.210 --> 26:55.510 Fire of God come. 26:58.410 --> 26:58.890 Come. 26:59.090 --> 27:00.870 It's what it's going to take 27:00.870 --> 27:02.030 to get rid of the gossip. 27:02.350 --> 27:04.950 To get rid of the addictions. 27:05.290 --> 27:06.810 To get rid of all forms 27:06.810 --> 27:09.010 of sin. It's what it's going to take. 27:09.190 --> 27:10.730 We ask for your fire 27:12.730 --> 27:13.910 right now. 27:14.950 --> 27:16.930 Even your Holy Spirit 27:16.930 --> 27:18.650 Holy Spirit you came like 27:18.650 --> 27:20.670 tongues of fire 27:23.790 --> 27:25.150 tongues of fire. 27:36.810 --> 27:38.550 He's turning up the heat in families. 27:40.070 --> 27:42.530 So your child acting out. 27:42.730 --> 27:44.990 So someone doing something out of the ordinary. 27:45.270 --> 27:46.470 Out of character. 27:46.990 --> 27:48.890 Father wherever we're out of character 27:48.890 --> 27:49.950 it should be a clue. 27:50.370 --> 27:52.170 There's fire on the move. 27:53.670 --> 27:55.370 Lord we fan that flame. 27:56.350 --> 27:57.970 We cultivate that plane. 27:58.090 --> 27:58.670 We nurture 27:59.610 --> 28:00.670 that fire. 28:03.170 --> 28:04.350 Purify us God. 28:07.790 --> 28:09.730 Purify our hearts oh God. 28:11.750 --> 28:13.190 Purify our lips. 28:14.690 --> 28:16.490 Purify the way we think. 28:17.730 --> 28:20.130 Purify out of us any form of 28:20.130 --> 28:20.930 unbelief. 28:22.850 --> 28:25.290 Draw the unbelief right out of us. 28:25.390 --> 28:26.530 Just melt it off. 28:26.910 --> 28:29.490 It's putrid. Get it off of us. 28:29.970 --> 28:31.070 We resist it. 28:31.290 --> 28:32.310 We renounce it. 28:35.070 --> 28:35.790 ... 28:51.630 --> 28:53.730 Draw out of us all forms of 28:53.730 --> 28:54.490 rebellion. 28:56.610 --> 28:58.990 Draw out of us all forms 28:58.990 --> 29:04.890 Turn up the heat, Lord God. Purify us, where we could not see ourselves. We'll suddenly see 29:04.890 --> 29:13.510 ourselves out of your mercy. It's out of your mercy that the fire gets red hot. It's out of your mercy 29:14.670 --> 29:16.270 that you change us. 29:30.200 --> 29:36.860 You know, when someone gets total sass and they come against the church, one of the prayers I pray that 29:36.860 --> 29:45.630 scripture is, be sure your sins will find you out. Because they're not seeing themselves. 29:46.790 --> 29:53.790 They're blind to themselves. And if they continue in that rebellion, they need to be found out. 29:54.450 --> 29:58.430 They need to, something needs to be uncovered. Something needs to come through the key. 29:58.690 --> 30:04.470 Something needs to have the draws come out. Be sure, be sure in this, in this thing your sins 30:04.470 --> 30:10.030 will find you out. That this will be made known. So you have every opportunity to repent 30:10.630 --> 30:13.830 for the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent. 30:22.070 --> 30:26.490 He also asked me to take authority over something you may or may not understand it, 30:26.490 --> 30:32.550 but if you pray on it, he'll show you something. And that's where too much business comes into 30:32.550 --> 30:38.630 the church. The business part that says, we're going to grow the church like this. All we 30:38.630 --> 30:46.550 have to do is make business moves. Church has to have some business moves. But if this is how 30:46.550 --> 30:50.970 we're going to do it, we're going to do this and I decided to do that. We're sorry, Lord, 30:51.110 --> 30:56.910 if we overstepped in any way, cleanse that out. We do not want to even be open to that. 31:00.800 --> 31:04.800 You're in charge. We're the stewards. He'll tell us what to do and we'll do that thing. 31:05.620 --> 31:07.680 But we're not going to business your church. 31:11.400 --> 31:19.640 Or you're truly not Lord then. You are Lord. You are Lord. You are Lord. You are Lord. 31:32.660 --> 31:39.080 Now, when you go to ask the Lord, or somebody here thinking this, when you go to ask the Lord, 31:40.360 --> 31:44.340 you know, we constantly deal with this stuff. It's like we're always talking about sin. 31:46.800 --> 31:48.320 No, we're talking about righteousness. 31:51.200 --> 31:55.300 When it sounds like you're talking about sin all the time, what happens is it's like, 31:55.400 --> 32:00.240 what's wrong with me? I wonder what's wrong with me? I wonder what I screwed up this time. 32:00.460 --> 32:07.240 I wonder, yeah, now you're talking about sin. When you talk about righteousness, 32:07.780 --> 32:12.680 you're able to say, this is how right he is. This is what is righteous. I seek first 32:12.680 --> 32:20.180 his rulership, his domain, his kingdom. Oh, and his right way of doing things. I have to see 32:20.180 --> 32:26.500 how he does it. Oh, okay, that's what's righteous. I'm sorry, Lord. I was unrighteous in that area. 32:27.300 --> 32:35.520 Forgive me. See, we're inviting his righteousness every time we deal with a subject. 32:36.480 --> 32:43.940 We're not going to harbor bitterness, hold onto grudges. We let go. We let go. 32:44.500 --> 32:48.460 And we don't assume, Lord God, that we're not doing any of this. You pointed it out, 32:48.520 --> 32:56.660 so we're going to examine our hearts. Thank you, Jesus. And so my hope this morning, 32:56.780 --> 33:03.060 I know it's the Holy Spirit's hope as we push into service is that wherever he has a foothold 33:03.060 --> 33:09.180 or thought he had some sure ground, now it's all of a sudden rocky and it's moving. 33:09.680 --> 33:14.820 The Holy Spirit's moving that ground and he's going to have a hard time standing on something 33:14.820 --> 33:22.040 in the fight. Our ground is sure. Our ground is even. Our ground we can lock in. 33:23.220 --> 33:27.440 Do that in us and that comes through righteousness. That doesn't come from 33:27.440 --> 33:32.520 dwelling on sin. It comes from dwelling on righteousness. The fire is about the 33:32.520 --> 33:39.020 righteousness of the Lord God Almighty. We invite you, Lord, and your righteousness. 33:39.580 --> 33:46.800 We seek first your kingdom and your righteousness. All this other stuff will be taken care of. 33:47.580 --> 33:52.560 The right way of doing things. Let it come on us. Let it come on us. Let it correct us. 33:52.740 --> 33:58.780 Let it change us. We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. 34:09.820 --> 34:16.800 Jesus. The thing that I want to say is like a boxer or like a fighter. 34:18.600 --> 34:24.420 It always looks like you're winning totally when you're the one popping that other person the 34:24.420 --> 34:31.940 most and they're being knocked down and all of those things. Spiritual warfare is not always that. 34:33.200 --> 34:37.020 A big part of spiritual warfare is his righteousness on us. 34:38.640 --> 34:41.280 Right? Then if you got to pop something, pop it. 34:43.180 --> 34:49.700 You don't know what I'm saying? Then you can take it. But it's really about his righteousness 34:51.000 --> 34:57.140 and the church, the body of Christ, has to come back or come for the first time seeking that. 34:57.420 --> 35:02.560 What is right here, Lord God? We want to do the right thing. Say the right thing. Be in the 35:02.560 --> 35:06.800 right spot. We want to do it. It's not our own perfection. It's your righteousness. 35:06.800 --> 35:11.840 How you would do it? How you would say it? What your will is in our lives. 35:15.880 --> 35:20.760 Change our hearts, oh God. Let's say that to him. Change our hearts, oh God. 35:23.160 --> 35:29.160 Let your fire come. Change. Change. Change on the body. Change in our family. 35:29.540 --> 35:34.840 Change in our thinking. Change spiritually, emotionally, physically. Oh, Lord God, 35:34.840 --> 35:42.700 take it all mentally. Change us to be more like you. Righteous, righteousness, righteousness. 35:44.540 --> 35:45.680 In Jesus' name.
