He's wanting to accomplish something here this morning, a little different.
And I was sitting in the office and told my husband how, you know,
I was at a rest regarding prayer, like, it doesn't just feel like it's going to be...
I don't know, it's the service or something has got a little bit more umph on it.
Let's put it that way.
And then I walked in and be real careful when you walk into, even before prayer starts,
when the band is playing, they're not practicing music as much as they're trying to find a flow.
Right? Because they may pick songs or whatever and when they're in here, they will find that flow.
And it, you know, it may take them down a whole different avenue than what they thought.
And we have to be careful not to interrupt that.
But you could feel the anointing is already here.
So we don't want to just kind of move on and act like nothing's up.
So he is sustaining us, he is remaining in us and we remain in him.
And this is what he said. He said, go to Genesis because I got my whole thing.
I'm going to preach on, but he says go to Genesis. So I did.
First chapter, this is how it says it in Genesis 1 verse 4, and it says it like this in the Amplified.
So he's in the middle of creating, right?
And he created by having that image in his head and then spoke it out his mouth just the same way that we do.
Right? That's why we have to be watchful of what images we take in.
What's an idol but an image, right?
And so we get pictures and words and pictures that connect in our mind.
But yet when we, because we're created like him, then when we speak these things, we speak them by faith and they come to pass.
This is how it says in the Amplified.
God saw that the light was good. So he just spoke, let there be light.
Or actually in the original text, old, old school, it says light be.
He wasn't, the let part kind of suggests like let it happen kind of thing, but it was light be.
And God saw that the light was good, pleasing and useful, and he affirmed and sustained it.
And God separated the light, distinguishing it from the darkness.
So I said, okay, so what's up with that?
And he said this morning throughout the service time, he is going to affirm and sustain some things that we have stood on, that we spoke into, that he told us to say something.
And you know, it would be like we said light be, right?
And even if you've been in a battle and you feel like you lost part of the war or whatever,
there's still remnants that have to be.
You pick up and you move on from that spot.
There's still remnants that he's going to affirm and sustain.
So if you look at the word affirm, you know, like the word affirmation means to firm up.
Like if I give you an affirmation and it's smoothie, I'm just like, oh, you like nice and that.
I might not even mean it, right?
But an affirmation that is something solid that I give you firms up where you're at.
And he wants to take us and affirm us in the things that are principles of his.
They are the things he's already told us to do.
They are the things that have already been spoken.
And you know, I like to use the phrase hold the line.
I have to be affirmed to be able to hold the line.
I have to be affirmed by my God so that I can firm up in the thing to hold the line
on the thing we've been believing for, right?
And so, and then sustain means you have something in motion,
but you're taking anything that's either left or anything that's moving you into another season.
And you're literally saying, we're going to make sure this thing stays put, right?
And stays intact so he affirms it and he sustains it for the work.
So I will say that, you know, being present when my mother passed away
and, you know, that happened in our house and we were able to be right alongside of her
and she affirmed things that she had said in motion.
There were certain things that it was like, this is how it will be.
And it didn't matter if she was leaving, she was leaving that with us.
And then the sustaining part is not only do you have that firm thing you're holding on to,
it's like, and God will take care of making sure that happens.
He will sustain it. It'll be there for the long haul.
So I might have shared a little bit of this,
but one of the things that she had been believing for is my dad's salvation.
And it was really bugging her that she was about to go home
and she didn't get to see that happen.
And so I was able to say to her mom, it's okay, I knew that in my spirit.
I said, don't let this bother you, just fly to Jesus. It's okay, you can go now.
And because she was holding on and she squished my hand.
She wasn't able to talk, but she squished my hand when I said,
is this bothering you? And it was like the hardest squish for that moment, right?
And I said, it's okay, we got it. We got it.
And then I realized what I said. It was like, oh boy.
Oh boy, you know.
And so in that, her prayer, that had been for years
when it came to my father and people in our family
and, you know, life change and attitude changes.
And those of you who were at the funeral, I read.
I found one of her prayers that was written out and it starts out.
I would, my desire is that my family would, right?
And it went down and dealt with anger and all kinds of stuff.
Like she, she was affirming. She got something from God and it's firm.
And now we're going to see this thing through
and it's going to take his sustaining power to get that to happen.
Right? So having hang time in God, that's what I call it,
is where you're able to walk the whole process through.
And this life is walking the whole process through.
So whatever we got going on in our life, the church, the vision,
he wants to reaffirm and sustain.
And we pull on him for the sustenance or the sustaining power
that literally girds us up.
He's sustaining us.
Right?
And it comes through that affirmation.
He's created all things.
He is, he's in that spot where he's done that.
Okay, so going back to my dad as soon as my mom passed,
I realized the gravity of like, oh my goodness.
Because we've also been praying for him for so long.
And he knows who God is, he knows all that.
But you can know all that and not know him.
And that's kind of what the situation was at.
One of our family members had a dream about him being lost,
so that was there.
Bruce Vanada had a word over my mom regarding the things she was praying for.
He firmed up another aspect of it just by prophesying over her.
He didn't know she was praying for this for years and he firmed that up.
And that gave her the sustaining power.
But now you could tell she felt like, ah, I'm exiting too early here.
I haven't seen this.
This is the one thing she wanted to see.
So we did a funeral here.
Then we took her ashes back to Wisconsin and did a funeral there with family members.
And we went right after the funeral to my father's house.
And, you know, so I say this like this.
You could drop me off in a foreign land.
You can put me down in Minneapolis.
I don't have fear of those things.
I mean, you could surround me with people and I'd be witnessing and everything.
But when you face your own flesh and blood and there's been some stuff.
I mean, my legs like, oh Lord Jesus, you know.
And yet my hubby went with me and we called.
There was no answer.
And there was a part of me who was like, oh, they're not answering.
So we're out, you know.
Or they didn't answer the door, so we're out.
But yet I knew this has to be fulfilled.
So it took him sustaining my insides to everything that we had declared that was firm.
I was holding on to those affirmations.
And then part of what fueled the sustaining was those affirmations.
So creative power had to do something different.
So we were let in and we chit-chatted.
You know how you do, we haven't seen each other for a long time.
For about an hour we chit-chatted.
And a little raccoon in their backyard that came up and they were feeding it.
So it was like, oh, this is really nice.
And the whole time I'm like, the evangelist's going, how do I get in?
Do I have to kick down a door?
Because I'm not one that just waits for the door.
We're just waiting for a window.
Okay, the window's there and nothing's opening.
We need to pop the window open. That's what we got to do.
And so I knew that these things are on a timer.
And he shared where he was at physically.
And that opened the door to me saying, Dad, where are you going to go when you die?
And he said, well, you can't know that.
And I went like this, I do.
And then Vern did the same thing.
And we were able to lead in that way for the first time in all of my life.
He sat there quiet and listened.
And I'm saying this because we've been believing for certain things
or there were certain things my mother was believing for and she went home.
So you don't just go, oh, well, that didn't happen.
It's like, no, there's something that was firmed up
that other people are now going to carry
that are going to cause a sustaining in this thing.
And we're actually going to see revival.
That's what happens in situations.
And so, but you got to have hang time.
You got to be able to stay in faith,
which means we go back and have them firm us up again.
You always revisit what he's already told us, right?
So that's where the vision booklet for the church is.
That's where you write all over in your Bible,
which they told us not to do when I was a kid.
You're wrecking the Word of God.
But if you look at my Bible, it's like almost a mess.
And then I'm like, oh, that's right.
That happened on that date.
And this is what he told me about this or whatever.
And you correlate everything in there
because those are your affirmations.
And then we have his great precious promises.
And he's not a man that he can lie.
Amen.
And so we take his promises and they firm us up.
We take the words he said to us and they firm us up.
And then you run the race.
You figure out, okay, this is where this was at.
Now, we got to pick up and go back at it again.
And so I look at change in my family now.
It's like a season just changed.
My mother was holding on the line on something.
And when the season changed,
what she was holding the line on just spread to all of us.
It just spread.
Whoo!
I think that's why when martyrdom happens,
when somebody's a true martyr, revival happens.
Because they're carrying this and they're carrying this and they're carrying this.
And all of a sudden they're gone and it just explodes on a whole bunch of people.
And really what happens with those people is it gets affirmed to them
and suddenly they said, well I need your sustaining power
and this creative thing comes on them
and all of a sudden they're all in it to win it.
It isn't just the one person.
So I feel like God wants us to look at that
because we are harvesting where other people have tread.
When we go up to Red Lake, the prayers that have happened in that area,
when we're here, when we're in Cambridge,
whatever we're doing, we're walking where the prayers have spread,
where someone else laid their life down
because there was an affirmation.
See, perspective is everything.
We have to look and go, ooh.
So part, I don't want to be separate from my mom,
but boy, she'd slap me up if I ever tried to bring her back here, right?
She wants to be where she's at.
And at the same time, if I have to look at what we're about to carry out,
just on her behalf, just on the one person who is in faith,
it's going to get explosive.
She would pray and almost every time I would leave,
it's going to make me tear up,
when I would leave to go to Red Lake,
she'd say, go, save your people.
I'm not a jibway, but she would tell me that every time.
Just go, save your people.
And I'd say, Mom, I receive that.
Now, okay, so I'm going to go,
well, I'm missing that, she's gone or whatever.
No, actually, I'm walking in that,
and it's making it more firm in me,
and it's sustaining me because she called the blessing over me.
That's what I'm walking in.
So Pastor and I go up there today,
I'm taking the blessing with me.
And there was a command by someone in authority
who was a watchman who spoke fat over me,
and so now I just step right in,
step right in.
So I have a confidence at a higher level,
just because of the change.
So I look at TBO and I think,
you know, there were some pastors
that, I mean, there was revival there
years and years ago,
and I've heard stories about it,
and the prayer times that were had were intense,
and the sacrificial giving,
and the sacrificial prayers,
and the part of being a watchman
is knowing how to sacrifice, right?
And it's really not,
I'm gonna figure out something, I'll sacrifice.
No, it's when God requires something of us,
we say yes.
That's what it is.
When I'm truly, I can build the altar,
I can get there and I can pray,
but what's the sacrifice?
He'll require that of us.
He'll tell us exactly what that is,
and our job is to let it go.
Amen.
So it's interesting to me,
like I said, it was gonna talk about other things,
but this is what he said.
There's something gonna happen through the service,
through the prayer time here,
just in the heavenlies,
where he's going to reaffirm some things
or affirm for the first time some things,
and then put sustaining power to it.
And he does that with his creative voice.
He does that when we see into his realm.
It firms it up.
It firms it up.
Oh, hallelujah.
Hallelujah.
Oh, thank you.
Thank you. Thank you, Lord God.
You are our affirmation.
You are our sustaining power.
Thank you, God.
Hmm.
I'm just watching to see where he's gonna go with this.
The watchman has to understand the fear of the Lord.
Anybody can pray.
You know, an unsafe person will pray.
They'll even pop off the Lord's prayer,
not even know what it means,
but they were taught to do that, right?
And now I lay me down to sleep.
Pray the Lord, my soul's getting lots of people do that one.
You know, so there's something to that.
But the person who's a watchman has a fear of the Lord.
And it says in Proverbs chapter 9 verse 10,
the reverent, so it's not just anything.
It's like a reverential fear of the Lord.
That is worshiping him and regarding him as truly awesome
as how they amplified says it,
is the beginning and the preeminent part of wisdom,
or another version says the choice part.
It's starting point and its essence.
So to be in a spot where we're going to have wisdom fall,
we need to be in a spot where we're doing what he's saying,
not going through the motions,
but we're literally saying, I want to worship you.
I'm going to come into a spot where it's a starting point
that wherever we left off on something,
now you're going to give us a fresh start
and it's going to move us forward
and you're going to sustain it.
And we have the fear of the Lord about it.
It's an honor and respect like whoa.
So part of what sustained me in facing my father,
you know, because you got rejection
and everything else that can happen.
You're just like right there,
but yet we prayed with him.
We prayed with him before we left and it was awesome.
Anyways, part of that was the fact
that built inside of me I had made a promise to my mother
who had made a promise to God.
Fulfillment of promises are huge when it comes to God's kingdom.
So that's why we don't make vows.
The Bible tells us not to make vows.
Oh yeah, I'll do that, or I vow to you,
I'll do this, or whatever.
No, don't do that.
But when you're operating in a promise,
and a promise sounds like this, yes.
Right?
You know, our fleshly promise is oh yeah,
I'll be there and you don't have to worry about it
and we'll add all kinds of stuff to it.
And God looks for us to just say yes.
And once we say yes,
we've entered that realm
that like I'm affirming from my side,
you affirm from your side,
this is what's going to happen
and out of the fear of the Lord,
come heller high water, this will come to pass.
And so people will say things like,
am I dying breath?
This will come to pass.
You know, it's like, it doesn't matter how long it takes
because it's so welded into them
up for the fear of the Lord.
There's a respect because he reveals something to us,
the reverent fear of the Lord,
that is worshiping him and guarding him as truly awesome
or being in that presence.
Is that beginning part, the preeminent part,
the most important part of the fear of wisdom?
It's the choice part.
Wisdom wants to fall here today.
I don't know how he's going to do it.
He's saying all this to me right now.
There's no plan on this or whatever.
But when I walked in and Jesse was still standing up here,
it was like, what up?
I don't know if you could feel that or not
when you came here before,
but it was like, pay attention.
Impartation happens when it's set up like that.
That means pay attention.
He's about to do something.
But he's also checking our hearts on what we're firm on
and what he's been sustaining us on
or where we've dropped the ball
and are not even doing the thing we said we were going to do.
That's what's in the house this morning.
He said,
After it talks about the Reverend fear of the Lord,
it says,
and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding
and spiritual insight.
The fear of the Lord comes,
we get spiritual insight.
For by me, wisdom from God,
your days will be multiplied
and the years of life shall be increased.
And it goes on and talks about
how wisdom will take place in us.
Let's go ahead and stand.
It's interesting in churches, you can stand,
Neil, you know, you get commands to do different things.
But there's a posturing with myself
that if I'm listening,
a lot of times I will be standing.
I'll be walking.
I'll be like, God, what, what, what, what?
But when he affirms something in me
and it gets so real,
that I know if I say yes to this,
this is for real.
This is like, this is so God right now.
That's when I kneel.
That's when it becomes overpowering.
That's when it's like, I better hit the deck
because I just said yes to something I can't do.
He's going to have to do this.
Praise you, Lord.
Praise you, Lord God.
Let's just begin.
Just quietly praying in the Spirit.
Lord, you have given us knowledge.
You're expanding our understanding.
This builds the landing pad
for wisdom to land on, Lord God.
We have expanded into something now
that we know we can't not know it.
We've come too far.
We've seen it.
We've seen it as watchmen.
We've seen it looking over onto things.
Wisdom, come.
You said in James, if we asked for wisdom,
you'd freely give it to us.
And wisdom always tells us where we came from
and what's happening now
and what the future looks like.
So we might call things that are not as though they were
and pull the future toward us.
There are some who say
after the Lord has told us something,
well, what would be the purpose of that anyway?
His purposes and His plans
will come as we follow Him.
He will not reveal them before.
It's just like the disciples in Acts chapter 1
when it starts out and they're like,
so when are you returning?
How's this going to work?
How's that?
And he just goes, hey, it's not for you to know.
Right?
Don't worry about it.
You go do what I'm telling you to do.
Right?
Which is go and wait for the promised Holy Spirit.
And so he's doing that.
He's going to break that whole questioning thing for us.
Also, where as wisdom comes,
we can't over question wisdom.
We just do.
We just do the next right hard thing
and obey Him.
Ready our hearts, oh God.
Ready our hearts for wisdom to land.
And let her light up all of the understanding
and the knowledge we have regarding things.
Affirm to us today that very thing we need to hear
that will make the situation so firm,
your creative power will make it firm within us
that we know you will sustain us.
You will sustain us to do the thing you're asking us to do.
Holy, holy, holy, holy is the Lord.
Let's have the band come and just play quietly.
We're going to just stay in this aspect of prayer.
I think things are going to be birth now,
but in the service for sure.
Whether pastor preaches on the subject he had planned to or not,
but whatever is going to happen,
something is going to open up.
And you grab that affirmation,
you grab that command,
you grab that knowledge,
and you hold it.
You accept it.
You bring it close to you and let it firm you up.
That will cause the sustaining power to come upon you.
That will cause that.
So we press into you.
That's a lot to just kind of try to ramrod
in just a few minutes here.
So we're going to take a little bit extra time
just being in your anointing
and worship.
And we're going to pray.
Even if it's just quietly praying to begin with
or praising or I should say just playing.
And we're going to pray.
So I declare something.
We will not flounder.
We're not going to flip flop.
We're not going to be tossed back and forth
on every wave of belief system or doctrine.
We're going to be pulled to a place
because wisdom will pull you to a place
that you're tied to.
And it's absolute truth.
Here is where the truth is.
We don't flip flop.
We're not duo-minded.
We're not standing in two places at once.
Part of affirming something is bringing it together
so it stands in one spot.
That's what affirmations do.
If you're a person who likes to compliment,
that's something different.
An affirmation will pull you
out of all those duo-triple-thinkings
and it'll just pull you into one spot
and you'll stand there for her.
I see it.
I see it.
The Lord is affirming my heart.
I see it.
Maybe you need to be firmed up in your finances,
your destiny, your next step.
It doesn't matter what it is.
What has He already told you to do
that you haven't been doing?
Deal with that first.
What has He already said
that we haven't been doing?
Deal with that first.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
He said,

Jesus.
Holy Spirit, you're welcome.
Move on us and through us and in us.
Move on us, in us and through us.
Move on us.
Come like a wind.
Come like a fire.
Come where we're parts, like a rain.
You do the work, Lord God.
You are the creative God.
You're the one who makes a way
where there seems to be none.
You are adonai.

Oh, Jesus.
We take our losses and we bring them
before you, Lord.
We take the things that we've gained.
The knowledge and all of the
extra finances, emotional support,
anything that we've gained.
We bring it all to you
and lay it at your feet.
Any of what we consider a loss, Lord,
we lay that at your feet.
And we come to become one-minded,
single-minded with you.
We have the mind of Christ.
We think like the anointed one
and we think like his anointing.
We think like the anointed one
and we think like his anointing.
We're coming to become one with you, Lord God.
One.
One in the spirit, one in mind.
One.
Jesus.
Jesus.
No confusion.
No flip-flop.
No doubt being duo.
We refuse it.
No jumping thoughts.
We come into being one with you.
We stick to our destiny.
We stick to the next things that
we're supposed to do.
You bring us to that spot
where we're not scattered.
We are one as a church.
We are one as individuals.
We're one as families.
We are one thought, one mind
that wisdom come.
Wisdom come
and sort that out for us.
Wisdom speak louder
than these other things.
Wisdom put in order.
The power of wisdom put in order
our next steps.
Affirm who we are to our Lord.
Wisdom come.
Thank you.
Where we have been broken in heart,
broken in our spirits.
Oh God,
causes to draw closer
than we've ever been before.
Help us to draw closer
than we've ever been before.
We accept your will and your ways.
Your precepts and your commands
and we say yes.
We say yes.
We say yes.
We get up and we say yes.
A lot of us have gone through
some different things.
And one thing I know about people
is we have not had permission
or the freedom many times
to express to God how we feel.
So then we're like a clogged pipe
and we're trying to think
so much digitally
when really something just needs to come out.
The cry of our heart
needs to come out.
The clearing of the threshing floor
needs to happen through
the cry of our heart.
So let's begin to sing in the spirit
because you can do that
and kind of play around with it
like you do singing a choir song.
Or you can allow
him to touch your emotions
while you're singing
in the spirit.
And he gathers those things
that are not of him.
And he gathers those tears
that we would normally feel.
And he gathers those things
and sifts it all out through us.
It's part of us letting go.
It's part of us changing.
