And he uses the word in the amplified guard post, which really means he's 03:08.820 --> 03:14.120 standing there for the purpose of keeping guard over everything, watching so nothing gets in 03:14.720 --> 03:20.580 or the right things do come in and the wrong things stay out, right? And that's what happens 03:20.580 --> 03:25.180 when you're at a guard post. You're a watcher. You're a seer. You're an overseer. And 03:25.920 --> 03:31.140 have you ever seen the movie The Eagle? I love movies like that. It's like a 03:31.140 --> 03:36.720 old time war movie or whatever. And he just had a sense in the middle of the night to 03:37.320 --> 03:42.720 we better get to the wall. And they kept looking and there was nothing there. But 03:42.720 --> 03:46.500 there was something that just gave him this warning. Nothing, nothing. And they woke up 03:46.500 --> 03:50.120 all the soldiers and they were ticked off because there's nothing going on. There's 03:50.120 --> 03:55.720 not happening, right? And so they all come there and all of a sudden the attack is just 03:55.720 --> 04:01.240 apparent. And it's right there. And later he gets thanked for being faithful to what he 04:01.240 --> 04:11.520 was sensing and saved their fort. So there's something about saying I will stand at 04:11.520 --> 04:17.700 my guard post. Which is also not, he told me to stand at my guard post. You know, I gotta 04:17.700 --> 04:23.960 this morning God to get on the guard post. No, it's a commitment that says I've chosen to show up 04:24.560 --> 04:29.300 because I already know I have an assignment. And then I saw it. Right. You know, some people will gravitate more toward 08:13.380 --> 08:19.700 evangelistic things or whatever, even though we're all on the tower, we're all praying, you're all 08:19.700 --> 08:25.460 gifted differently. So your station will be like, we're not all praying from the same zone 08:25.460 --> 08:29.980 and we're missing all these other spots. When you get a bunch of people on the tower and 08:29.980 --> 08:33.940 we're all in our stations, everybody's seeing it, but they're seeing it from a different angle. 08:34.220 --> 08:36.820 They're seeing it in a different way and they're seeing it according to their 08:36.820 --> 08:42.600 gifting. You bring that together. It's explosive. And he will speak to them in their gifting and it lights it up. But it all comes back to, 09:08.780 --> 09:16.980 I will stand. So sometimes we got this idea, you know, God does call us, right? And then we 09:16.980 --> 09:21.700 answer the call. But sometimes we have the idea like, I ain't getting on the tower unless he 09:21.700 --> 09:30.300 calls me. I don't show up for prayer unless I feel led, right? Well, how often do you 09:30.300 --> 09:34.580 feel led to prayer? Those are those moments where you're like, I'm either messing up 09:34.580 --> 09:39.500 or I got to hear from him right now. But all the in-betweens, you're not as led as you are in 09:40.000 --> 09:46.820 those two moments, right? So you make up your mind, I will stand at my guard. I know a guard 09:46.820 --> 09:51.880 has to be there and has to be there consistently. You can't be guarding something for two days 09:51.880 --> 09:55.400 and then I'm taking a week off and then I come back or whatever. Being in the presence 09:55.400 --> 09:58.420 of God, being a watchman means you're always watching. 10:01.180 --> 10:05.640 There's angels that have the job of always watching. That's what they do. That's their job. They're detailed. They take notes. And, 10:16.940 --> 10:21.760 you know, if you grew up where you weren't a detailed person, you know, 10:22.740 --> 10:29.480 or your personality isn't a detailed person, then we have to work on writing down dreams, writing down 10:29.480 --> 10:35.140 what he said, those kind of, we have to find a way to retain it. Now, I can retain things. Like, 10:35.140 --> 10:40.520 if I study something on health, it messes me up if I write it all down. For some reason, 10:40.760 --> 10:45.500 it's just there. It's like I got a computer in my brain that just goes registered. But 10:45.500 --> 10:49.160 there's other things that when I go to recall them, I say, I should have wrote that down. 10:49.800 --> 10:55.220 I should have paid attention. And so it's best always when you're at your guard and you're seeing 10:55.220 --> 11:02.100 things, write them down. Write them down. Find a way to retain it. He said, and he's got a worldwide ministry now. 12:07.780 --> 12:13.820 He said, I will put my suit on and then have a church. We're actually in the small things producing the big thing, 12:51.860 --> 12:58.740 or getting ready for the big thing. Proper prior planning. And it was like, 14:50.920 --> 14:54.700 all those things just really made sense. So when we're opening up spiritual things, 14:54.700 --> 14:58.920 it's not a carnal way of approaching it. If we approach it in a carnal way, 14:59.700 --> 15:03.620 we right up front should say, this should make sense to me. Now it's carnal thinking. 15:04.400 --> 15:11.460 He's about you seeking it until it makes sense. And it is, it's not the sense of your five 15:11.460 --> 15:16.420 senses. It's your spiritual sense. It's all about my needs, right? And then there's only the few chosen ones 17:14.500 --> 17:20.980 that hear from God. We're not in the Old Testament. We're not waiting for the prophet to show up 17:20.980 --> 17:24.960 and then, you know, could be months. We don't know when Samuel's coming through, you know, 17:25.020 --> 17:29.800 or we may have to travel, you know, hundreds of miles to get to this guy because he's the 17:29.800 --> 17:37.320 prophet. We can't hear for ourselves. See, we look to who we connect into and that has to 17:37.320 --> 17:41.860 do with our station. And then the thing that we work on because our flesh doesn't want to do this 17:41.860 --> 17:50.780 is showing up to that station. Show up early in the morning when he wakes you. Be like, I'm 17:50.780 --> 17:55.840 going to show up. I'm ready. You're not getting ready. You're not preparing to be ready. You can see the big tall weeds. You're like, yeah, 18:22.700 --> 18:28.840 it's talking to you now, but that's not proper prior planning. Over the years, we've seen so many 18:46.740 --> 18:51.640 people just be disgruntled with where they live, the house that they live in. We're not wishers, right? That's the magical realm. And, 19:02.580 --> 19:07.780 but they'll be disgruntled with their house, believing God. That's what they say. I'm believing 19:07.780 --> 19:13.040 God for a bigger, better, and it's going to have this and this. And that's really exciting. But 19:13.040 --> 19:17.740 you're not taking care of the one you're in. You're not thankful for the one you're in. 19:18.840 --> 19:24.440 But we're expecting him to give us something bigger. It's hard to 21:41.380 --> 21:45.840 climb the tower to guard. And I'm just begging him for all my needs to be met. 21:47.100 --> 21:52.160 I ain't gonna hear nothing about what's going on or what's coming against, because I'm really just in the 21:52.160 --> 21:56.620 mode of begging for my needs. And there's this. And if you could please do that for me. And you 21:56.620 --> 22:01.480 could play, a guard looks at this different. It's like, I got needs and everything.
