Why? Because we didn't know it was available. We're just going to cut ourselves short. We don't know it's supposed to be more, so we're not by faith going to reach 06:09.240 --> 06:17.400 for what is available to us. So we need to know who we are in Christ 06:19.080 --> 06:26.760 because it's everything has a spiritual beginning. That's not God's plan. He's working on us in Christ so we do something. And specifically 08:24.880 --> 08:32.380 what He wants us to do are the good works. The good works which He prepared beforehand 08:32.380 --> 08:45.500 for not only the human race but for our individual lives. Our, your, life was already planned, 08:45.760 --> 08:53.280 laid out what God wanted you to accomplish and do in your time on this earth was laid out 08:53.280 --> 09:04.340 from the foundation of the earth. That's what scripture says. So if you were what your parents 09:04.340 --> 09:19.020 called an accident, we weren't planning on this one. God was because He had your whole life laid 09:19.020 --> 09:29.160 out before the recreation of this whole system. He saw you coming. They didn't but He saw you coming. 09:30.220 --> 09:40.820 So it's not a surprise to Him. He prepared beforehand what we're supposed to do in this life. 09:41.520 --> 09:49.600 This is a foundation to scripture. This is a foundation to living for God, walking in what 09:49.600 --> 09:59.160 He wants you to do. And it is so overlooked by the church in America. We are actually under 09:59.160 --> 10:06.440 the opinion we think we decide what we do in this life. We're going to talk about being forgiven or 12:21.560 --> 12:28.080 forgiveness, justification, reconciliation, sanctification. The big words that get thrown 12:28.080 --> 12:32.760 around in Christianity and a lot of people don't understand. So we're going to start on 12:32.760 --> 12:40.160 redemption this morning and go a direction that I feel the Lord wants us to go. Redeemed. 12:41.980 --> 12:47.080 Christ redeemed us. Now He's talking to believers here. 12:48.720 --> 12:54.060 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. 12:54.680 --> 13:02.760 It is written, cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree. He redeemed us to get us away from the 13:02.760 --> 13:11.420 law and He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come on to the Gentiles 13:11.420 --> 13:18.560 through Christ Jesus so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit. 13:19.760 --> 13:23.620 You know, when we think of the blessing of Abraham, we think of wealth. We think of 13:23.620 --> 13:29.840 prosperity. We think that was all tied into it. But in what the Holy Spirit wanted to say 13:29.840 --> 13:37.200 here through Paul, the thing He actually wants to get us into is the Holy Spirit. 13:41.060 --> 13:46.300 Read it. I mean, that's what it says. Verse 14, He redeemed us in order that the blessing 13:46.300 --> 13:51.180 given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus. Well, what is that blessing? 13:52.140 --> 14:02.880 So that, here we go, by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit. Study the word promise, 14:03.080 --> 14:08.700 what the Father promised. He promised the Spirit, Jesus referred to it, Peter referred to it, 14:08.820 --> 14:15.800 Acts chapter 2. This is the promise of the Father poured out Acts chapter 2. This is it. 14:16.860 --> 14:22.380 So the greatest blessing we can receive from what Abraham established is the Holy Spirit and 14:22.380 --> 14:28.700 the fullness of that. Moving on, talking about redeemed. For by the grace of God that, 14:28.880 --> 14:34.360 for the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, it teaches us to say 14:34.360 --> 14:41.560 no to ungodliness and worldly passions. See, that one's been misunderstood by a lot of 14:41.560 --> 14:48.140 American church people too. We think grace gives us the right or the license to do whatever we want 14:48.140 --> 14:55.520 because we're under grace. We can live like we want. We're under grace. Do you realize grace 14:55.520 --> 15:03.240 actually says the opposite? For the grace that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 15:03.240 --> 15:13.360 grace. It, grace, teaches us to say to ungodliness, teaches us to say, 15:14.620 --> 15:20.720 Ari, did you retype this scripture? She had problems with the PowerPoint. Let me jump down to my hope and glorious appearing 16:10.840 --> 16:18.100 of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us. 16:20.200 --> 16:27.240 He gave himself to redeem us. You say, well, how does that work? We'll see it here in a bit. 16:28.180 --> 16:34.000 To redeem us so that by grace we can live in all wickedness and do whatever we want. 16:36.020 --> 16:42.940 No, to redeem us from all wickedness and to actually clean us up, purify himself, 16:42.940 --> 16:50.900 for himself, a people who are his very own, not sharing anybody with the demonic 16:51.740 --> 17:03.870 or the devil. They're actually his. Eager to do what is, eager to do what is, 17:04.930 --> 17:11.890 that's the good works he's prepared us to live in. He wants a people who are actually 17:11.890 --> 17:18.450 excited about what doing, about doing what God asked them to do. Because in the end, 17:18.790 --> 17:28.380 it's going to be really good. He didn't prepare bad works. He prepared good works. 17:29.680 --> 17:36.540 He redeemed us so we can do them. First Peter, one more scripture. For you know that it was not 17:36.540 --> 17:40.400 with perishable things such as silver and gold that you were redeemed. We've been redeemed. 17:40.400 --> 17:45.440 As believers we've been redeemed. From what? From the empty way of life handed to you 17:45.440 --> 17:52.200 from mom and dad. Grandpa and grandma, well it might be if they weren't saved it could 17:52.200 --> 17:57.580 apply to them. Forefathers means former generations, forefathers, you know the, 17:57.940 --> 18:01.500 you've got the founding fathers and you've got the forefathers of this country. 18:01.780 --> 18:08.840 We're back a few hundred years. Forefathers is people in our lineage who were not living 18:08.840 --> 18:14.520 for God and who just handed a pile of baloney down generation to generation. 18:16.780 --> 18:22.300 We have been redeemed from that empty way of life. 18:24.820 --> 18:31.860 How? Not with silver or gold. The redemption came through the precious blood of Christ. 18:33.020 --> 18:42.680 That was the payment. So the word redeemed means to ransom by paying a specific price. 18:43.440 --> 18:45.320 So now we're going to see if you were paying attention. 18:46.580 --> 18:55.020 What was the price that was paid for our ransom? Ransom means to or redeemed means to ransom by paying a specific price. 19:35.220 --> 19:45.320 You and I are purchased and bought. You and I are now owned. That's what redeemed means. 19:48.820 --> 19:51.600 Remember the old song? I've been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. 19:52.360 --> 19:56.780 Okay? You know what that? You could transfer that word redeemed into owned. 19:58.320 --> 20:03.640 Or a bought. I've been bought. I'm now owned by the blood of the Lamb. 20:06.540 --> 20:11.420 We are not our own scripture says we've been bought by a price. The price is the blood of 20:11.420 --> 20:17.520 Jesus. We've been set free because we've been ransomed from that 20:46.980 --> 20:57.560 kingdom into Christ's kingdom, redeemed, bought out, not to do our own thing, to do the life 20:57.560 --> 21:04.640 that was preplanned before the world was recreated. We're not free to do whatever we want. 21:04.640 --> 21:14.020 We're free of that kingdom so we can actually now live the life he wanted us to live. 21:16.260 --> 21:23.640 Here's where it takes a turn. And what I believe the Lord wanted me to dwell 21:23.640 --> 21:31.700 some on this morning. It starts with that. Let me go back to the scripture for you, 21:31.700 --> 21:39.280 because that's just the statement talking about the scripture. It starts with that. Until we allow 21:39.280 --> 21:47.900 him to actually apply the payment of redemption or ransom us from the kingdom of darkness, 21:48.460 --> 21:56.460 until we allow him to be our God and we are in connection with him, 21:57.220 --> 22:03.820 we are not redeemed. The payment's there. It's already done. It just hasn't happened in our life yet. 22:04.600 --> 22:16.060 That has to happen first. That's the first step. And then something else happens, redeemed. 22:18.340 --> 22:29.650 To redeem something means it already was deemed. So now we go back to the first two messages 22:29.650 --> 22:38.110 kind of into the third one of this series. God deemed the human race to be something. 22:39.150 --> 22:42.270 We'll review that a bit because I think we have people here who probably didn't hear that. 22:44.530 --> 22:58.970 We lost it. Second message. We lost what we were created for. At one time with Adam and Eve 22:58.970 --> 23:06.810 and what God was looking into the future as, he deemed the human race to be something, to be someone. 23:08.310 --> 23:18.970 Now he needs to redeem that again. Or literally means to return back, restore the original state 23:19.780 --> 23:25.610 we were deemed for. So let's talk about this a little bit. 23:28.090 --> 23:34.170 And I'll just do, I could do it by asking questions but I know you know the answer. So let me just 23:34.170 --> 23:38.690 briefly bounce through this. We won't re-speak the first message. So I've been praying about that for years and years and years. 24:29.420 --> 24:33.700 And over a period of years, he was giving me bits and pieces of information. So don't, 24:33.800 --> 24:36.140 you know, when you pray about something, don't expect to get the answer today. 24:37.300 --> 24:40.780 Sometimes he likes us to just keep seeking and searching and following. 24:41.380 --> 24:46.720 He can teach us more that way. So he gave me the answer by starting to teach me 24:46.720 --> 24:51.540 what man was originally deemed to be. What were we? 24:53.840 --> 25:01.160 And don't tell me God needed a friend. I was told that from that big. Why did God create 25:01.160 --> 25:07.180 men? Because God wanted friends. First of all, it's not scriptural. And second of all, 25:07.180 --> 25:15.600 God's been around forever. He lived lonely the whole time until I think I'm going to create a friend. 25:17.180 --> 25:21.840 I want relationship. You know, when you really stop and think about it, it's kind of a 25:22.760 --> 25:29.560 half baked answer. It's like that don't make any sense at all. So you wanted a friend, 25:29.940 --> 25:35.600 so you stick them in the house with your worst enemy. See, that makes less sense. 25:36.540 --> 25:41.500 It's like, no, that didn't make any sense. So I've been for years on a search of 25:42.500 --> 25:47.020 what's the answer to this? Well, he started teaching me what man was created to be. And 25:47.020 --> 25:51.880 it's found all through scripture, especially in the New Testament, where he's trying to redeem 25:51.880 --> 25:59.820 us back to what we were originally deemed to be. And I could be wrong, but I came to a 25:59.820 --> 26:05.260 conclusion that rests really well in my spirit. I'm very much at peace with this. 26:06.660 --> 26:15.440 God had a problem. Problem was sin had developed, rebellion had taken place. This all happened 26:15.440 --> 26:20.860 in heaven. This didn't happen on earth. This all happened in heaven. Satan and the angels that 26:20.860 --> 26:25.240 were convinced he was supposed to help lead this thing with God. He wasn't supposed to be 26:25.240 --> 26:30.960 above God. He wanted to be like God, scripture says. There was a third of the angels fell 26:30.960 --> 26:37.360 into that. They bought into that. The result of the sin and the rebellion and God, I'm not 26:37.360 --> 26:42.380 going to do it your way anymore. I want to do it my way. The result of that all was 26:43.120 --> 26:51.720 they were thrown out of heaven to the earth, which previous to his rebellion, this planet 26:51.720 --> 26:57.980 was Satan's. I can show you that from Isaiah and Ezekiel. This was his planet. That's why 26:57.980 --> 27:07.560 God threw him here. So now we have Satan, who is now the originator, creator of sin, 27:07.880 --> 27:16.500 rebellion, disobedience, and a whole crew. Now scripture tells us that angels are innumerable 27:17.110 --> 27:26.000 to us. We could never count them all. Innumerable. So many. So chances are God knows the number 27:27.180 --> 27:32.960 since God knows the names and the numbers of every star, which scientists say, oh, they're 27:32.960 --> 27:40.000 innumerable. Well, not to God, they're not. To us, they are. So a third of this vast population 27:41.860 --> 27:52.590 followed Satan to this earth. God can't just ignore that. Well, they're on the earth. 27:53.090 --> 27:57.590 Let's just forget about them. See how this all turns out. Yeah, that's another 27:57.590 --> 28:04.030 bad decision. You're going to have to do something with that. You're going to have to deal with that. 28:04.830 --> 28:10.510 We don't know how long the earth was in that chaotic, fallen condition after Satan and his 28:10.510 --> 28:16.990 angels were cast down here. But at some point, God realized, I have to redo this whole thing 28:16.990 --> 28:24.770 and deal with Satan and the fallen angels. How am I going to do this? I am going to create 28:24.770 --> 28:36.250 a being who is right beneath me in authority and power, and I will have them rule and take care 28:36.250 --> 28:48.810 of this problem. Hence, ta-da! Us, human race. Scripture shows us originally the human race 28:48.810 --> 29:02.670 was deemed a very powerful, high-ranking, authoritative race, beings. We are the only ones 29:02.670 --> 29:09.250 that we know of who are in the likeness of God and the image of God. We're the only ones that it 29:09.250 --> 29:16.710 speaks of. God made us. King James, of course, this is a bad translation. King James says, 29:16.710 --> 29:22.190 he made us a little lower than the angels. The original language, look it up for yourself, 29:22.390 --> 29:28.810 it says he made us a little lower than Elohim. Elohim is the triune God, the Old Testament 29:28.810 --> 29:34.550 name that describes Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He made, so you got the Father, Son, and the 29:34.550 --> 29:39.830 Holy Spirit, you got Elohim, like Pastor Igor says, the God of Genesis one who created 29:39.830 --> 29:48.610 everything. And he made man right beneath him. Why would he give man that kind of authority? 29:49.750 --> 29:57.690 Because I'm going to put you on a planet to deal with someone and beings that also were very 29:57.690 --> 30:04.110 powerful. He's not an archangel, 30:41.100 --> 30:44.740 scripture does not call him an archangel. I know people think he's an archangel, 30:44.820 --> 30:53.060 he's not an archangel. He's a cherub, he's of that class of beings. Cherub are created beings 30:53.060 --> 30:58.320 who have been given a certain realm of authority and ruling power, and he was one of them. 30:59.040 --> 31:04.900 So if God's going to deal with someone who already is very powerful and authoritative, 31:05.480 --> 31:12.180 he has to create a being that is above him. So he created the human race, 31:12.480 --> 31:19.500 which is in the God class of beings, not the cherub class, not the archangel class, 31:20.100 --> 31:23.520 not in any, you know, you can name a bunch of things, scripture said, we're not in those 31:23.520 --> 31:32.040 classes. We are in the God class of being. We are made to be like God. 31:33.760 --> 31:41.400 Okay? He put us on this earth, and then in Genesis 1, 26 through 28, 31:41.960 --> 31:46.980 he says, rule and reign over everything there, basically is a nutshell version of it. 31:47.620 --> 31:51.780 Everything that lives there, everything that moves, every creeping thing, everything. 31:52.360 --> 31:58.620 Rule and reign it all. So as time would have played out, Adam and Eve didn't know anything about 31:58.620 --> 32:06.360 Satan and that whole deal right up front. They had one, one command, leave your stinky 32:06.360 --> 32:15.140 muts off that one tree. He didn't say it to him that way, but don't eat anything from that 32:15.140 --> 32:22.220 one, just one rule. And you know the story, they blew it, everything went downhill. Had that 32:22.220 --> 32:26.760 thing played out, I believe God would have revealed the spirit realm and how that they 32:26.760 --> 32:34.760 were to rule it and take care of it and on and on and on. Okay? It fell apart. We were originally 32:34.760 --> 32:51.780 deemed the most powerful class of beings under God. That's our design. That's who we are. 32:53.520 --> 33:08.600 And you look around now and go, you got to be kidding. This is a mess. And I won't describe 33:08.600 --> 33:16.500 the mess because I'll just leave it. It's a mess. This is not that class of being. Okay? 33:17.280 --> 33:24.700 God says, yeah, but that's what I deem them to be. Says, so I am going to send my son, 33:24.700 --> 33:32.080 make the payment for their sin, buy them out of their bondage, get them back on the life I wanted 33:32.080 --> 33:43.840 them to live. I'm going to re-deem them. And notice, and this is one of the reasons I think my 33:43.840 --> 33:49.540 theory is right. In the original design, Adam and Eve would have been here, the human race 33:49.540 --> 33:56.560 would have been here to rule and reign over Satan, fallen angels, sin, that whole thing. Just rule it, 33:56.640 --> 34:00.180 reign it. And how that was going to play out, we don't know because it never played out. 34:00.860 --> 34:11.060 But they were there to do it. Once we're redeemed, what did Jesus say? Oh, by the way, 34:13.220 --> 34:20.280 you're going to rule over sin and Satan. At my name, you'll cast anything out, including Satan himself. 34:20.460 --> 34:26.180 If he gets in the way, just kick him out. I put you in charge. I saw Satan fall from heaven, 34:26.380 --> 34:30.240 like lightning, Jesus said. So I give you the power. I give you the authority 34:31.400 --> 34:35.500 to tread on serpent scorpions over all the power of the enemy. Who's the enemy? 34:35.700 --> 34:40.320 He said, well, I just saw Satan fall. So the enemy is Satan over all the power of the enemy. 34:41.640 --> 34:52.200 And then he includes basically in anything. What's he doing? That was our original purpose 34:52.200 --> 35:02.120 as a human race. That was our design. We lost it. And he's saying, I'm returning you back 35:02.770 --> 35:09.560 to your design. It's your job now to rule and reign this earth. 35:11.060 --> 35:16.180 Okay. So now here's the fly in the ointment why this isn't going well. 35:18.260 --> 35:23.680 Because essentially we have two gods, Satan who thinks he's a god 35:25.900 --> 35:36.100 and the true God. Yahweh, Jehovah. Sadly to say, since Satan who thinks he's a god is 35:36.100 --> 35:44.460 such a master at deception. That's why Jesus called him the deceiver. This guy is not stupid. 35:45.840 --> 35:54.460 He's extremely brilliant. He's under us, but he is extremely brilliant. And he will 35:54.460 --> 36:00.940 try to deceive us into all kinds of things. Sadly to say, most of the earth's population 36:01.520 --> 36:09.970 is following him. And then there are those who are following Jesus and the Father. 36:11.290 --> 36:22.150 But most are in this camp. That's what Jesus said. Here is the issue. Genesis 11. 36:23.770 --> 36:31.430 There was a principle given to the human race that was deemed to be a certain way. 36:32.030 --> 36:39.150 Rule and reign the earth. Jesus instated that over here. So I'm going to go to what Jesus said 36:39.150 --> 36:48.370 over here after he redeemed us. He said, all things are possible through faith or to them 36:48.370 --> 36:55.850 that believe. Part of our original deeming was anything is possible for us. Except sin, 36:55.850 --> 37:02.310 of course. God never wanted us into that. Go to Genesis 11. We're dealing with the tower of Babel. 37:03.410 --> 37:08.710 And we have Nimrod who's in rebellion against God because he's serving this God, 37:09.190 --> 37:15.070 not Jehovah God. He's serving this one. And he's building the tower that would reach to the heavens 37:15.070 --> 37:20.910 so they could pull God down. Scripture doesn't say this, but I did. It was my 37:21.790 --> 37:27.130 thesis at the end of college. They gave us all kinds of topics to study. And I said, I want that one. 37:28.330 --> 37:32.590 Dealing with Tower of Babel. The Tower of Babel is where the signs of Zodiac first appeared. 37:34.150 --> 37:39.790 There was... they were imprinted on the tower according to secular history. So horoscopes 37:39.790 --> 37:45.130 and readings and all that stuff goes all the way back to Nimrod. Tower of Babel. That's 37:45.130 --> 37:50.050 where it started. Now where that would have gone had God not intervened. We don't know, 37:50.050 --> 37:56.490 but it probably wouldn't have been good. God says, we have a problem with this human race thing. We 37:56.490 --> 38:04.110 have to diminish their power again. Why? Because look at them. They're in rebellion with us. 38:04.250 --> 38:09.150 So it literally says that God came down, I believe the word is Elohim. Elohim the Trinity came down 38:09.650 --> 38:15.130 to the earth to be first hand witnesses of what Nimrod and his crew was doing. 38:16.370 --> 38:20.850 And this was their conclusion because of our original deeming. 38:23.190 --> 38:28.790 We have to deal with this. Can you bring, I think it's Genesis 11.6. Can you jump off the power 38:28.790 --> 38:35.070 point? I believe it's verse six. If not, it's close. We'll find it. Is it five? Some scholars 38:35.070 --> 38:41.250 said it's five. You might be right. Five. Okay. Let's start at five. The verse, I think I'm 38:41.250 --> 38:45.590 after six, but let's start. It's a good verse. But the Lord came down to see the city and the 38:45.590 --> 38:53.290 tower which the sons of men had built. Jump to six. And the Lord said, indeed the people are one 38:54.030 --> 39:03.250 and they all have one language. They're united. And this is what they, and this is what they 39:03.250 --> 39:08.990 begin to do. Build this tower. There's rebellious thing against me. Now, nothing that they 39:08.990 --> 39:16.830 propose to do will be withheld from them. What version is that? Does it say, King James, 39:16.970 --> 39:22.270 can you bring that in the amplified, please? My amplified the one I like to use. 39:27.040 --> 39:37.200 And now nothing they have imagined they can do. Nothing they can imagine will be impossible for 39:37.200 --> 39:45.400 them. That's the class of being we were created to be. And even after the fall, we carried the 39:45.400 --> 39:54.740 ability to, they are one people and they're all speaking the same thing. Remember, 39:55.700 --> 40:10.300 God created by speaking. We are in the God class. If we will unite as a human race and all speak 40:10.300 --> 40:17.960 the same thing, nothing is impossible. That's who we were created to be. 40:19.320 --> 40:28.060 The problem is, we're not united. We got a whole pile of people who want nothing to do with Jehovah 40:28.060 --> 40:35.700 God. So we can't get on the same page. As a result, one of the things that the human race 40:35.700 --> 40:40.780 was designed for will never happen because we'd never get back into unity. And we won't. 40:41.520 --> 40:45.940 Until the new heavens and new earth, we won't. Even the millennium, it says that Jesus will 40:45.940 --> 40:51.920 ruin with iron rod, forced obedience. Because the human race is still fallen. 40:53.300 --> 40:58.720 That aspect has to be shoved out of the way before this is going to take place. 41:03.780 --> 41:07.600 If... I'm going to answer a bunch of questions for somebody right now and I'm going to try 41:07.600 --> 41:14.080 to hurry up. If we could get in unity, speaking the same thing, believing the same 41:14.080 --> 41:18.700 thing. So what did God do? That's where He went and split them up then. And all the different 41:18.700 --> 41:22.260 languages appeared and people separated off in groups and went around the world. 41:23.500 --> 41:29.380 We have Spanish and English and German and the higher languages and then we have Russian and 41:29.380 --> 41:42.430 some of those other languages. Don't get up and come over here. 41:55.570 --> 42:01.850 Anyway, He split the whole world up and then after that, that's when the continents divided 42:01.850 --> 42:06.410 because it was one land mass and Scripture says the continents divided. So once people had 42:06.410 --> 42:10.870 their separate languages, they broke out and went different directions and started living 42:10.870 --> 42:15.490 different parts of the one land mass and then God broke that up to split them further yet. 42:16.090 --> 42:22.810 Why? Because of the principle. When they're in unity, everything is possible. 42:23.890 --> 42:29.550 Well, that's what Jesus told us when He redeemed us. He said, if you can get in unity, 42:30.090 --> 42:35.930 you can believe with me. Anything's possible. Well, He didn't make that up. That was our 42:35.930 --> 42:39.710 original design. That's what God came down to see and say, whoa, we better shut this 42:39.710 --> 42:44.730 down because they were designed to do anything. If they stay in unity, we got to separate this. 42:46.930 --> 42:49.050 That's who we were created to be 42:51.210 --> 42:56.830 as a whole. That's what we were deemed to be. Ephesians 1 breaks the first half of the 42:56.830 --> 43:01.950 chapter, breaks it down into the individual threads. You've got this big ball of the 43:01.950 --> 43:08.910 human race and out of it come billions of threads that are everybody's life. 43:10.170 --> 43:18.630 That God wants us all to live out a certain destiny for the purpose of His kingdom. 43:20.430 --> 43:26.490 That's all part of what we were deemed to be. You know, as a big picture, that's what the 43:26.490 --> 43:30.710 human race was supposed to do, rule and reign this earth, including Satan and his crew. 43:31.950 --> 43:39.250 The smaller picture Paul talked about in the first half of Ephesians 1 is not only are you 43:39.250 --> 43:45.370 deemed that as a human race, you have a personal individual life to live out 43:47.530 --> 43:53.150 that will bring you into what he talks about. I believe in... 43:55.010 --> 43:59.610 He mentions it right there where he's talking about this, that we have been blessed with 43:59.610 --> 44:07.130 all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus. So the big picture of what we were deemed and our 44:07.130 --> 44:14.090 individual life plan that he wants us to live out with that big picture is all got its roots 44:14.090 --> 44:22.130 in the spirit realm and it's all blessing. It's all designed to prosper us into good works 44:23.210 --> 44:27.590 because we're His workmanship designed to do good works. 44:29.750 --> 44:34.310 So this is what I felt the Lord told me, you know, because we've laid out a lot of information. 44:34.570 --> 44:40.090 We've gone through Ephesians 1, Ephesians 2. We've laid out a lot of facts. 44:41.910 --> 44:47.870 And he gave me this picture. I've done it before but he reminded me of it. 44:49.210 --> 44:53.230 He said, I want this morning to be a marking point for some people and restart 44:53.230 --> 45:00.590 what they were deemed to be. And in my mind, I knew what he was talking about. So I thought, 45:00.970 --> 45:03.690 I just want to make sure I'm accurate on this because I've done it before 45:04.250 --> 45:08.510 but I never found any real resources. It just kind of came up in my spirit. 45:09.630 --> 45:16.490 And I said, yeah, I think that's accurate. So rather than spending two days researching 45:16.490 --> 45:28.870 something, I asked for computer help. Here was my question. When a person was knighted and they 45:28.870 --> 45:36.770 were tapped on each shoulder with a sword, is it accurate to say they are being deemed something 45:37.690 --> 45:46.070 they weren't before? Because that was my belief and that's so I asked. Here's the answers 45:46.070 --> 45:51.950 I got back. Yes, that is accurate. When a person is knighted and receives the traditional tap 45:52.890 --> 46:00.150 on each shoulder with a sword, the ceremony formally confers a new status and title on that 46:00.150 --> 46:10.430 person that they did not hold before. We were deemed something. We lost it all. We were nothing 46:10.430 --> 46:23.990 but lost in sin objects of God's wrath. And then he retitled us, reinstated us, and took us beyond 46:23.990 --> 46:29.250 the original design. You know, when people, you know, I'm just to throw this in for free. I'll 46:29.250 --> 46:33.910 hear people say, well, God, Jesus promised we would do greater things than he. So I'm going 46:33.910 --> 46:39.050 for it. And my first question I'd like to ask, and I'm usually polite and I don't, is I agree 46:39.050 --> 46:41.830 with you. That's what Jesus said, but are we even doing what Jesus did 46:44.190 --> 46:49.990 before we go for the greater? Well, I can't do what Jesus did, but I'm going to do greater than he 46:49.990 --> 47:02.370 did. Really? It's like, really? But in the redeeming of us, the reinstating us, bringing us into his 47:02.370 --> 47:11.770 family, that whole realm, I'll read on. Before the ceremony, the person is typically a squire in 47:11.770 --> 47:21.150 medieval practice or simply a commoner civilian. The accolade of dubbing them is the decisive 47:21.150 --> 47:30.210 act that makes them a knight, and they have new titles. It is a public official recognition 47:30.210 --> 47:38.490 and elevation in rank exactly the sense of being deemed, or judge declared considered something new. 47:39.530 --> 47:45.590 Historically, the ceremony marked a clear transition from ordinary to knighthood, 47:45.930 --> 47:50.750 which brought certain duties and privileges and a new standing. 47:53.030 --> 48:00.590 So the phrasing, being deemed something they weren't before, correctly captures the nature 48:01.170 --> 48:09.990 of that ritual. And you know how the ritual goes. I mean, I won't do it to anybody right now. 48:10.630 --> 48:14.690 But you've got a person standing here, and sometimes they have a needle, sometimes they 48:14.690 --> 48:20.990 haven't standing, whatever, and they will tap them on each shoulder and make the pronouncements 48:22.650 --> 48:31.230 of what they are now, who they are now. They're deeming them. Now let me just say this, 48:31.270 --> 48:33.610 because this is where we go in the next message right from the beginning. 48:38.690 --> 48:46.210 They're created to be something really much higher in authority and esteem and influence, 48:46.210 --> 48:52.470 et cetera, than they were before. Humans like to do that to Lord over each other. 48:53.430 --> 48:56.190 Well, see, now that I'm a knight, you got to do what I tell you to do. 48:57.590 --> 48:59.390 Jesus said, no, no, no, we're not going to do it that way. 49:00.950 --> 49:05.910 The way it's going to work in our kingdom is when you are elevated into the position 49:05.910 --> 49:12.470 you're supposed to live in, the greatest among you will be your servant, not your Lord. 49:13.110 --> 49:15.710 So I just want to throw that distinction in. We'll come back to that. 49:16.230 --> 49:23.910 But I felt this morning the Lord wanted to do a marking point and physically give some people 49:26.710 --> 49:38.010 something that you can wrap yourself around and say, I am redeemed by the blood of Jesus, 49:39.470 --> 49:49.850 which, number one, gets me out of the bondage of Satan's kingdom and brings me into God's kingdom. 49:51.210 --> 50:00.110 Number one, number two, restores me back to what the original human being was deemed to be 50:00.110 --> 50:05.150 as a starting point. That's what I believe Jesus is saying when he says, like Mark 16, 50:05.710 --> 50:11.130 they that believe will cast out demons, will speak with new tongues, will lay their hands on. 50:11.290 --> 50:17.150 That's the starting point. You just have to be a believer for that. But as you grow in that, 50:17.550 --> 50:21.930 now you can do greater things because you've got the faith to support it. You've got the 50:21.930 --> 50:31.050 moral character to support it. We have been redeemed back to what the human race originally 50:31.050 --> 50:41.370 was designed to be. So number one, we have to start here before we move deeper. In order to 50:43.330 --> 50:52.490 step up into our original design, we have to come... we have to let him apply the payment 50:52.490 --> 50:58.910 of his blood, his purchase, and pull us out of the kingdom of the devil into his kingdom. 50:58.910 --> 51:08.370 So now he can redeem us, not only forgive our sins, change our life, be the one we serve now, 51:08.770 --> 51:17.810 but put us back to what we were designed to be and live that life that we are asked to live. 51:19.910 --> 51:26.590 So it starts with getting saved or born again, coming out of that kingdom. And then it goes 51:26.590 --> 51:35.070 into we have got to understand who we are and what he's made us to be and how he's deemed us. 51:36.370 --> 51:41.370 And some of us struggle with wrapping our head around that, wrapping our emotions, our heart 51:41.370 --> 51:49.130 around that. And I believe this morning God wants us to go through the physical act as not... 51:49.130 --> 51:55.290 we're not the redeemers, I'm not a redeemer. But as a representative, I can make the pronouncement 51:55.290 --> 52:04.530 if you are in Christ, you are redeemed. And it's not you're knighted, that's way believe us. 52:05.830 --> 52:09.210 You are now free to operate in the God class of being. 52:11.410 --> 52:18.570 And we need a point to say, that's the Sunday I said, that's me. And I decided to wrap myself 52:18.570 --> 52:25.670 around it. And pastor did something on behalf of God, and just did a physical act. And from 52:25.670 --> 52:30.930 that point forward, I'm going to see myself who I really am. I'm growing this thing. 52:32.170 --> 52:35.350 It's going to change. But it starts with salvation. So let's make sure before we take 52:35.350 --> 52:43.190 a step further, that this is covered. Anybody here, you've never said Jesus, 52:43.510 --> 52:48.050 forgive my sins. And so there are, so I'm going to speak to it right now 54:17.990 --> 54:23.030 by faith that there are hindrances and there are circumstances that keep us from walking in the 54:23.030 --> 54:28.350 fullness of what has been purchased for us. And so right now we come against any hindrance, 54:28.630 --> 54:35.250 any, any blockage of the mind, any way of thinking, any, any generational sin that wants to 54:35.250 --> 54:41.130 stand in the gap and deter the promises and the plan of Almighty God to be made 54:41.130 --> 54:44.510 manifest in your life. We come against it. And those of you that are in faith, 54:44.510 --> 54:50.510 speak to it right now with me. And so as we rise up and we hear the word of the Lord, 55:38.070 --> 55:42.990 we have been given all authority to speak to those circumstances, to speak to those situations in 55:42.990 --> 55:48.590 our lives by faith to see them move. You have been given that authority. And so I urge you right 55:48.590 --> 55:54.990 now to start thinking on the things that stand against you and to speak to them, to speak to 55:54.990 --> 56:04.090 them. Amen. I agree. I agree.
