The Race
Pastor Dave Warren likens our life as a race to the finish. How are we doing with our 'walk', if you will? Are we going so fast that we're getting ahead of ourselves and going to hit a wall because we're letting things and people get left behind because we're only focusing on the end of OUR race?
Believer's Authority
Where Is the Church?
The world is facing an ever-increasing onslaught of evil. Evil and Lawlessness seem to be hitting us from every side. We as Christians and the church are becoming an increasing focus of antagonism and attacks against the Scripture and Godly Morals. It is my firm conviction that Jesus is looking to His church to take a stand for future generations. Is the church being too passive and quiet concerning the social issues of the day? Are we allowing ungodly laws to move forward and operate unopposed? The church is on this earth to make a difference. Are we fulfilling our mandate?

Fear and the Subconscious
War in the Heavens
Too often, believers are not aware of the authority and rights that Jesus bought for us. We’re not sure if we have authority over Satan and the demonic realm. So as a result, we remain passive in our efforts to be victorious and over-comers. In this message, Pastor Vern explains the events that unfolded in Jesus’ ministry from the time of his crucifixion through Pentecost, and the Authority and Power of Rulership he purchased for us as he destroyed the Devil’s power and works. This message will not only educate you, it will inspire you to become pro-active in the Promises of God and the Authority he’s given to you.
When Facing Spiritual Opposition
There is a pattern that takes place in almost every situation where God has moved in a mighty way in our lives. We will be challenged. The challenge will be two-fold. (1) We will be challenged by the demonic realm with the purpose of causing us to quit. (2) We will be challenged by God, to grow in our faith. How we respond is crucial to maintaining what God has done for us.

Bringing Closure to Grief
The subject of grief has many emotional avenues inside of us that need closure in order to heal. This series talks about bringing closure to things that have shocked us, wounded us, and left us without an answer. Sometimes it's just getting the right information that gives us hope and causes us to see a way out. New information secures the fact that our old information will be challenged, which is a key component to our healing.

The Law of Faith
Covenant, Divorce & Putting Away
Pastor Vern Peltz shares the story and inspiration behind his new book "Covenant, Divorce, and Putting Away" ( https://www.amazon.com/Covenant-Divorce-Putting-Away-Christians/dp/1979198535/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1511135036&sr=1-1&keywords=covenant+marriage+putting+away ).
Child Instruction, Correction & Discipline
Many times young parents can feel like God has given them the huge task of raising their children, but did not provide an instruction manual. In this series, Pastors Vern & Mary show how the book of Proverbs is all about instructions on raising children. There are some basic principles that God wants us to emphasize in our own lives as adults, as well as our children’s. This series focuses on some of the most basic, major principles that need to be instilled into all child rearing methods. So no matter what approach or philosophy you may take on raising children, these principles will give you the solid foundation and path to build your child’s life upon. You may find yourself discovering some nuggets that also change your perspective on life.
Handling Change
Even though change is inevitable, most people do not like it and try to avoid it if at all possible. This is why most of us don't do well with change in our lives. This series looks at why people don't like it, what scripture has to say about it, how personal change affects relationships, and what we can do to be ready for and deal with change in a positive manner. Change is a necessary aspect of a humans life. The key to successfully maneuvering the changes which come our way is to learn how to direct the change not let the change direct us. This is a very helpful and fascinating series as we learn to live a victorious christian lifestyle.
Poverty of Soul
This series describes the struggles we experience due to the poverty, or lack, within our soul (mind, will, and emotions). God's plan is to prosper and revive us in the areas we have lack. Pastor Mary Peltz shows the steps to the blessing of God that adds to our life.
The Good Gifts
Christian(?) Holidays
This series looks at 3 holidays that always bring up a lot of questions. They are Easter, Christmas, and Halloween. In the messages, the Pagan roots of each holiday are exposed, as well as many suggestions of what could and should be done with each holiday. If you or someone you know has questions concerning these holidays, or have decided not to celebrate them, this series will be of interest to you.
Open Heavens 2017
The Many Gifts
These 2 mesaages take a fresh look at the Incarnation, Virgin Birth, and Giving of Gifts. In these messages, you will be challenged by how these three works of God took place in Jesus, and how they also come alive in us today.
Set Aside for Revival
What type of things will happen when God begins to move by his Spirit? What are we to expect or look for? In these messages, Pastor Mary lays out some of the steps given in the book of Acts that a person or church will experience when a move of the Spirit takes place. These are consistent and very reproducible by the Spirit as he moves in various lives and churches.
Love: Agape vs. Phileo
Learning how to Love is the main commandment that Jesus gave to believers. Interestingly, most christians don't seem to understand what Jesus was really saying when he told us to Love. This series takes an indepth look at the definitions of the two main Greek words used for Love, as well as the scriptural descriptions for each of them. Sadly, for the most part, the church has seemed to confuse the world's love for God's love. These messages will give you a good foundation to help you understand what Jesus was telling us to do when he said we're to Love.
Kinds of Prayer
The same way there are different rules to the many different kinds of sports that can be played, there are also different kinds of prayer with different sets of rules that apply to each one. For example: the scriptural foundation for 'Intercession' is quite different from what it says about 'Agreement'. This series deals with the basic types of prayer and some of the basic rules that apply to each one.
Interpersonal Leadership Training
This series approaches Leadership from a little different perspective than the traditional material on the subject. It deals with leading individuals, rather than teams, companies, groups of people, etc. In it Pastor Vern shows how leading a person via discipleship / mentoring / apprenticeship is viewed in our culture, and how that has affected the church in its approach to Leadership and the reason the church lacks productivity in Leadership. This material will form and shape your Leadership skills in areas they likely have never been challenged.
Speaking in Tongues in Church
Speaking in tongues in church is a controversial subject even among those who speak in tongues. The main reason for that is two-fold: (1) Misunderstanding what Paul really said in 1 Corinthians 14 and (2) Bad teaching on the subject. These two messages were taken out of a series that Pastor did on Speaking in Tongues. These messages are designed to specifically address the questions of whether we should speak in tongues in a church setting; and if we do, what are the guidelines concerning it.
Journey to the Impossible
Mark chapter four describes prophetically a process of spiritual growth that all Christians will go through as we choose to follow Christ. This series shows the journey of the heart and reveals the mysteries of the Kingdom of God. In this series Mary explains the steps it takes to cross over to the new things that God has asked us to do. Faith always takes us to the impossible.
Covenant Partnership 2016
This series is required listening for anyone wanting to become a Covenant Partner at Word of Life.
Open Heavens 2016: Pursuing the Father
Self-Sacrifice
The concept of Self-Sacrifice is vital to a believer's spiritual growth. What are we talking about when we say Self-Sacrifice? Where does the Bible talk about it? What is it's purpose? Our flesh speaks to us along with other voices in our lives. The problem is: do we recognize what we are suppose to deal with? Do you know which voice is speaking to you? Can you recognize when it is the flesh? Self-Sacrifice is ultimately about us getting back into a relationship with the Father that we were intended to live in. As the Spirit moves in our lives, he will change our habits and old ways of thinking that will enhance our relationship with the Father.
100% Sold Out and Listening
The Holy Spirit's grief toward the mediocrity of people toward the things of God. Why do God's people measure their commitment to God on what is the least they can do to get by? How does this affecct our ability to recieve from God? Pastor Mary shares on the principle of listening and considering and what this produces in our lives.
Holy Spirit (Part 3): Speaking in Tongues
This is a very controversial and misunderstood aspect to the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. I think the reason it's so controversial is because it is so misunderstood. Many people have very definite opinions about it, but have little to nothing scripturally to support their position. In this series, Pastor Vern takes a very indepth look at Speaking in Tongues. If you have a question concerning this topic, chances are very good it's answered in this series.
The Shemitah
This series deals with the warnings that are currently being given by the prophetic community concerning possible near-future events. These messages are designed more for educational and informational purposes than to predict what is about to happen.
Holy Spirit (Part 2): Intimacy
The Holy Spirit has been sent to be with us 24/7. He is the one who is to be along side of us, helping us on a continual basis. One of the main aspects of his working in our life is to be our Comforter. A principle of human nature is: "Where we receive comfort from, is the person or thing we become intimate with." This series explores the concept of building a close relationship with the Holy Spirit. What are we endeavoring to do? How is it accomplished? Many personal examples are given from Pastor Vern's relationship with the Holy Spirit. It will challenge you to focus on growing in an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit.
Nephilim
As it was in the Days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. When Jesus returns, we will be facing the same problems that were prevalent in Noah's time. You may be surprised to find that Nephilim were the greatest problem in Noah's time. They were the reason for the flood. We are currently being prepared to welcome and accept the same type of problem. Nephilim - Human and Fallen Angel Hybreds. Television, Movies, Etc. are subtly working to make this resurgence of Nephilim acceptable in society. What is the purpose? Is this part of the End-Times phenomenon? What avenues are going to be used to re-introduce them? Are they going to be a great tool of deception in the Last Days? These 2 messages will give you some answers.
Open Heavens 2015 - Pursuit
This is an End Times Series. It deals with the spirit of antichrist; it's plan, scheme, and purpose. This series shows how man was created to Pursue. It reveals the Dangers of Pursuit in the Last Days and how the Devil will work to pervert it in believers. The 'Secret Power of Lawlessness' is revealed. And the Ultimate Goal of the spirit of antichrist, and well as the man who will be the Antichrist - are revealed. It is explained what the church must watch for so we do not fall under the scheme the antichrist is using. There is a Great Deception we must be aware of and avoid at all costs.
Child Dedication - 1 Peter 1:14-19
In this message we look at the basic concept of Child Dedication. We look at the need for the parents to be dedicated. The principles in 1 Peter 1:14-19 are applied to raising children. Then these principles are applied to society as it will be in the End Times - which is the time we are living in.
Holy Spirit (Part 1): Basics
This series lays out an introduction to the Holy Spirit. It deals with some very foundational material about who the Holy Spirit is, why He is here with us, what He is like, and the Holy Spirit's role in a believer's life.
Understanding the End-Times
Will Jesus come back in our lifetimes? For 2000 years, Christians have believed that they could see the physical return of Jesus Christ to earth at any moment. However, we only know two things for sure: We are closer now than ever and that during the last days of earth, the deception will become so thick that even His church is at risk of falling away. How much have we already been affected by deception? How do we prepare our children and grandchildren to withstand the ever-increasing deception of this world if Jesus does tarry decades or centuries? During this series, we watched Irvin Baxter's DVD series <a href="https://store.endtime.com/Understanding-the-Endtime-DVD">Understanding the Endtime</a>. Many of the videos are available on YouTube, and we have links to them where available. Due to copy-rights, we are not able to re-broadcast them on our Website. So if you would like to see them, you'll need to either order a set of them, or possibly find them on You-Tube. Pastor Vern and Mary spoke a few messages aside from the DVD's that were shown. However, for most of the services, we only recorded the Question & Answer format of these meetings. (The Q & A sessions are listed accordingly.) In these Q & A sessions, only key points that were addressed by Pastor Vern are available online.
Heaven & Hell
In this series Pastor Vern opens the scriptures that talk about Jesus' Death and Hell, as well as Jesus' Resurrection and Heaven. Then both topics are also looked at from the perspective of NDE's. (Near Death Experiences) The information in this series you will find fascinating.
Spiritual Laws
God's kingdom operates in both an Offensive and a Defensive manner, based on the principles and guidelines by which God runs his Kingdom. These principles and guidelines are called 'Spiritual Laws', which work very much like laws on Earth. When you posture yourself on the right side of the law you can enjoy it's protection, benefits, and blessings. If you posture yourself on the wrong side of the law you will receive the law's prosecution, judgment, and penalties. Many Christians don't realize they can be on the wrong side of these Spiritual Laws. And without even knowing it, they can find themselves in a position where God's system is working against them, not for them. But with some understanding, we can posture ourselves where the Blessings of God will flow into our lives very easily and freely. This series explains how the basic principles of Spiritual Laws operate.
Betrayal
Betrayal is probably the most common and the most devastating experience that we all go through. It has the ability to shape every aspect of our lives. Learn how to identify it, recognize where you're living according to it's dictates, and how to remove it's tentacles from your life. This is one of the most life-changing series you will ever listen to.
Christian Basics
Introduction to Christianity for someone who has recently made a commitment to Jesus.
Becoming New
When a person gives their life to Jesus, and receives Him as their Savior, it is normal to have a good deal of questions. These two messages were designed to help with some of those questions. What are the next things that need to be done in this new life for Christ? What are the most important priorities? How do I get to know Jesus? What should I expect now? These and many other foundational truths are shared in these messages. A must listen if you are new to living your life for Jesus.
Fatherhood
We are facing a desperate situation in society. Fatherlessness is ever growing around the world. What is it producting? How do we deal with it? Can it be corrected? What does a Father even look like? This series will take an indepth look at all of these questions.
Rhema vs. Logos
There is a difference in the Word which is spoken to us by God versus the written Word and words that are given to us as information. These messages clearly define both, as well as dealing with "Words" from the Lord and Prophecies. Some things we should receive as God speaking to us, and some things we shouldn't. Learn how to differentiate between the two.
Joseph's Anointing
The Lord revealed this concept to us in 2002. This revelation shows how every person's life has a pattern we go through. We will step through the phases of Joseph's life at least once during our lifetime. (In most cases, it will cycle many times) A huge principle in this concept is recognizing, learning how to deal with, and overcoming Betrayals in our life. Understanding the over-all pattern of Joseph's life and being able to locate where you are in it, can bring tremendous understading and encouragement. The Joseph's Anointing is also a Last Days work that God does in his people so that we can prosper during difficult times.
Learning How to Receive
An Example of Being Led by the Spirit
We as believer's are to be led by the Holy Spirit. Sometimes it's difficult to see how the process works. In this series, Pastor Vern explains step by step, how the Holy led him in a specific decision.
The Basics of Grace
The covenant that the New Testament believer has with God is a Covenant of Grace, yet many of us could not describe Grace or give a good scriptural explanation of what it is. In these messages, Pastor Vern deals with the subject from a very basic, foundational perspective. It probably doesn't matter if you're a new Christian or have been saved for 50 years - chances are good you don't understand the basics of the covenant you live under and depend on, not only for getting prayers answered in this lifetime, but also for your eternal salvation. This series lays a solid foundation on the subject of grace: a must listen for every believer, but especially new believers.
Recreating the God Man (Men of Iron)
The average male in America has confused 'Being Tough' with 'Power'. We think 'Being Tough' is being 'Powerful'. In reality, that isn't the case. In these two messages, we are pointed back to what the scripture says makes a man. And the main attributes God looks for to see if we've matured into manhood.
Expanding the Vision
The scripture says: 'Where there is no Vision, the people perish'. This study explains piece by piece what a Vision is, and how to recognize yours. Then Pastor shows how to write it out, and focus it so it becomes one of the main tracks you use to navigate your way through life and be Productive. The last half of the study opens the Vision given to Word of Life. (Message #12, and #19 - #29)
Falling into Darkness, Running to the Light
Jim Isakson’s description of his journey at age 15 that took him to a world beyond … a place where unending darkness engulfed him and held him captive. “The fear was overwhelming … I had no idea where I was or what had happened. The last thing I remembered was fainting at home, but now I found myself in a cold unfamiliar room. Where was I? As my mind raced, trying to make sense of it all, suddenly, I was floating up toward the ceiling! Then I slid down to the floor at the foot of the bed. I turned to look at the bed behind me and saw the form of a body under a blanket. I took a second look and couldn’t believe my eyes … it was MY body lying in the hospital bed! It was my face on the pillow! How did I get here? Time stood still, yet my mind was racing. Then WHAM … a trap door opened beneath me and I plummeted down, down, down … falling helplessly into darkness so thick it seemed to swallow me whole as I fell deeper and deeper into darkness!”
Following After Signs
In the Old Testamaent, God used signs to lead his people. In the New Testament era, we are not to be led by signs. We are to be led by the Holy Spirit. Many christians have not understood this truth, and as a result they find themselves trying to follow God, but miserably failing. This series will bring to light, why we don't follow signs anymore. What can be considered a sign. And then points us to the scripture and what we are to do to follow God in our time.
Bag, Barrel, Basket, Barn
God wants us to prosper in all areas of life - yet many times we find it difficult to measure how well we're doing. This series gives markers which help show us how far down the road toward prosperity we really are. This applies to us financially, but the principles can be used to examine any area of life.
Controlling Pastors
The role of the Pastor has been very misunderstood and much of that has to do with Pastors who have not acted like Pastors, because the scriptural picture of a Pastor has been misrepresented. This series briefly touches this subject and gives some scriptural answers.
Kings and Priests
The concept of 'Kings' and 'Priests' is a must know for every minister and lay-person. Scripturally, one is not more important than the other. They both carry vital roles in furthering the gospel on this earth. A person who is not in 5-fold minstry should not feel badly about what they do in life. This series will show you why those statements are true.
How to Find and/or Leave a Church
The transition process which takes place when a person / family must leave a church or find a new one can be very difficult to say the least. How does a person go about doing this? What should they look for? What are good reasons for doing this? How do I know if what I'm doing is right? How do I know if I'm doing it the right way? All these questions and more are addressed in this message. (Please download the booklet of the same title)
Unity and Communication
Disunity is the most destructive force that can touch the church. The scripture show us how to maintain Unity. One of the main things we must learn is how to communicate about disagreements, and then to do so. This series develops on Unity and Communication.
God's Will to Heal
God's Word says so much about healing and God's power and will to heal today. Listen to this powerful CD as Eric Peltz expounds on this topic and be changed as the Word comes alive and brings forth truth regarding God's will to heal you.
Tithing 2009
Financial giving to God is not a concept confined to the Old Testament. Tithing is a New Testament principle. Financial giving is one of the few avenues that has the ability to position us to receive 'All grace'. That means our giving touches and has an effect on every area of our christian lives, including all the promises. If we truly want to Open the Windows of Heaven so that all areas of our lives can benefit from what Jesus did on the cross, we must incorporate the principle of Tithing into our lives.
The Offices of the Trinity
As Pastor Vern was trying to understand the working of the Holy Spirit, the Lord chose to teach him about this from a unique perspective. The Lord said "If you understand the working of the Father and the Son, it will make it easier to understand the working of the Holy Spirit." This series develops on the offices and workings of each of the Trinity to help us better understand how they relate with human beings in regard to their specific office. This series will bring an understanding of the Godhead like you have never had.
Understanding Dreams and Visions
God uses many languages to communicate with his people. Besides the human languages, there are others like: Tongues and Interpretation, Prophecy, The Inner Witness, The Language of Peace, The Language of Faith, Your Personal Prayer Language, etc. One of the greatest ways that scripture says God desires to speak to his people in the last days is via Dreams and Visions. If we don't understand this language, we will flounder in the day we are living. This series will open this topic up for you as you've likely never seen or heard it in your life.
Religious Spirits
Once a person has been saved, delivered, healed, and had a life-changing experience with their God, they have now made themselves a target for the enemy. Too often attacks come through people who are already living for God. They will try to discredit and undermine what the Lord just did in your life, all in the name of God, the Bible, what's right and wrong, Godly and Ungodly, etc. At the very least, this can become a huge source of frustration to the person with the new-found freedom. In the worst cases, it will so discourage and confuse a believer that they will literally give up on God. Learn how to recognize these Demonic Religious Spirits that are talking through people, and what to do with them.
Correct and Incorrect Judging
Many Christians are confused about the concept of Judging. The main thing we know is that we are not suppose to Judge. Yet, scripturally speaking - that is not true. We are suppose to Judge. In this series, Pastor Vern opens the concept of Judging and shows what God's word really has to say about it. You may be surprised to find that as christians - we are commanded to Judge.
What About Speaking in Tongues?
The Baptism in the Holy Spirit and Speaking in Tongues has become a very controversial subject. Jesus never intended that to happen. Scripturally there is really no reason for it. This series covers many of the arguments that are used against speaking in tongues, as well as giving the scriptural basis for speaking in tongues and a number of the reasons to speak in tongues. If you have questions regarding this subject, this series has answers.
ABCs of Faith
What is faith? How does it work? Without faith it is impossible to please God, so it is necessary that we have faith and understand how to use it. The average Christian thinks they are living by faith, but are they? What does it really mean to believe God for something. Pastor Vern opens the word and in an easy to understand way explains what faith is not, what it is, and how to put faith to work in our lives. This series is for everyone. Even those who have exercised their faith for years will find new revelations brought into the light.
Pride
God has a lot to say about Pride in his word, and none of it is positive. When we think of pride we think of the haughty and arrogant who stand out from the crowd. With all that God had to say on the subject, could he really have been talking to such a select group of people, or is there pride lurking in everyone's heart that we do not recognize? Eric Peltz delivers a series of insightful and thought provoking messages shedding light into this often overlooked subject and gives tools for finding and removing pride before it causes us harm.
The Fear of the Lord and God's Discipline
The Fear of the Lord is a very misunderstood subject in the church. I find we're either in one ditch or the other. Once ditch being that God is out to catch us doing something wrong, and he'll punish us every chance he gets. So we better really watch our step. This results in our being terrified of him, and we'll rarely approach him for anything we may need. It's better to just leave him alone and not make him angry. The other ditch flows in the thinking that the Fear of the Lord is an Old Testament concept. It no longer applies for today. We are under Grace, and therefore everything we do is OK with God. He is just so enamored with us, that he will never become or be upset with us about anything. Do whatever you want, God is enthralled with you. Both of those concepts are ditches. This series will show what the true Fear of the Lord is. Why it is necessary. What it looks like. And how it benefits us. It also looks at the subject of God's Discipline, and correlates that into the subject of The Fear of the Lord.
Transferring of Spirits
The Transference of Spirits is something the average believer knows very little about, yet it's happening to them all the time. This series lays out the principles of how demonic spirits influence and transfer. Even though this principle is at operation in both the Kingdom of Light and the Kingdom of Darkness, this series is focused on revealing the demonic side of this spiritual law.
Women in Ministry
The place of women in ministry has been a very controversial subject for many generations. Interestingly the word makes the subject very clear and easily understood. Pastor Vern uses the word to shed light on what positions a woman can hold in ministry and in the church.
Marriage Basics
Have you ever wished that someone would create a manual on how marriage is supposed to work? Pastors Vern and Mary do just that. They use the Word of God to explain the basics of what God intended for marriage. God created marriage and he knows how it is to function. This series is for everyone who is married, ever wants to be married, or has been married and wants to make sure the next one is better.
Learning How to Pray
This series is built around what we call 'The Lord's Prayer'. It uses the prayer as a guidline, model, or outline to establish an easy format to follow so that our prayer time becomes focused, thorough, and mature. Jesus gave the principles to follow in praying. This series takes them apart and opens up each one of them. If you're struggling with your prayer life, this series will be of help to you. If you've never been taught how to pray, this series will be of help to you.
