SOFTWARE//FIRMWARE//HARDWARE INTEGRATION

Building reliable embedded systems for commercial aviation — where flight-grade firmware, cockpit hardware, and high-speed IO meet.

01 //

ABOUT

I'm a software and integration engineer based in Minneapolis, MN. A self-starter who thrives on a team and performs under pressure on-site solo, I'm always looking to grow my software development and hardware integration skillset. Across professional aviation work, coursework, and personal projects I've built deep experience in hardware/software integration, desktop applications, micro-device firmware, and electronics hardware R&D. I've shipped software and firmware into devices with high reliability and performance requirements, working directly with leading aviation companies like Airbus and Boeing training services, and class-leading airlines including Delta, American Airlines, Lufthansa, Saudia, and KLM.

WORKHISTORY

Acron Aviation / Software Engineer III

Simulator & systems integration

  • Work intimately with cross-functional electronic and mechanical engineering teams to support product R&D, design considerations, initial hardware power-up, on-site delivery, performance verification, and customer support.
  • Perform integration and testing of newly identified customer simulation functionality requirements.
  • Administer the on-site simulation development platform: hypervisor support, hardware maintenance, and integration of our products for remote development.
  • Work closely with customers, often one-on-one, to resolve technical issues and identify new software requirements.

L3Harris / Software Integration Engineer

Hardware and Software Integration · Simulation Performance & Testing

  • Develop firmware for cockpit hardware panels that provide simulated aircraft functions in our simulator products, and design and validate high-performance IO systems connecting hardware panels to the simulation backend.
  • Work intimately with cross-functional electronic and mechanical engineering teams to support product R&D, design considerations, initial hardware power-up, on-site delivery, performance verification, and customer support.
  • Perform integration and testing of newly identified customer simulation functionality requirements.
  • Travel on-site when required to troubleshoot problems and perform maintenance operations.
